This cable is being used for an ASM Hydrasynth, a modern, high-bandwidth MIDI synthesizer that supports the latest high-resolution MIDI data – and also has sophisticated firmware requirements.
Despite the length I have no issues with latency, and the coloured plugs mean I can easily identify this synthesizer in the hub if I need to connect it to something else. The cable isn’t particularly chunky and it’s easy to route through guides and cable ties. Given the 5m length, the price is a bit of a bargain too.
