Highly recommended
Super easy to put together, best flat pack kit I’ve ever had. All the pieces just fit together and all holes in correct place. Most of the structure doesn’t require screws, meaning you can very easily change the height. And most importantly, it just looks so much better that and plastic or tin compost bin of similar price. I am thinking of giving the roof a couple of layers of all weather paint, just to ensure longevity, but not a vital addition.
Tldr: excellent value for money, quick and easy to build, looks good.
Careful requireme
Care needed during assembly.as it can become unstable. Once assembled it is of substantial size and holds a good amount of material for composting. Having a hinged lid which can be propped open is handy when inserting material
Rather expensive for a Chinese import! Again this should be stated in the description. I have glued the slats in place to add a bit of strength to the bin. Not sure what the wood actually is so can`t tell if it will rot easily. Looks smart enough when built and will be treating it to a coat of paint after the weather improves.
Quality product at a fair price.
Well designed composter. Easy to put together with clear instructions. Looks very good. It does need 2-3 coats of wood preserver on it though, as the slats don’t appear to have been pre-treated. Very pleased!
Beautiful compost bin but needs treating
Absolutely in love with the look of this compost bin. Constructed it myself, took about an hour at most and was super easy. After reading other reviews I decided to treat it and made sure it was painted inside and out. I’m sure with a yearly touch up this will last a long time.
