The system seems nice and bright with good settings for light levels and easy to setup and use except the timer function stopped working after a few days. After contacting the seller the immediately sent me replacement and it arrived the next day. Thanks so much for the great communication and follow-up with me on the issue.

Bought this light for my plants in Dec/2022. Has worked very well up until now! Every time I try to turn it on, the lights blink but will not come on/stay on! I have unplugged and plugged it back in, I have left it off for a few hours, then tried again, no luck. A great light but it doesn’t last.

I’ve had this for at least 3 months now. When I first got it it was very bright! Now it’s not as bright as it use to be and the light is flickering. The timer function is still working.

I like the timer and the other functions but wish it was a couple of clicks brighter. There’s probably a reason it’s not. Other than that which really isn’t a big deal, I like it! My plants already look healthier and have new growth starting after a week. The stick is adjustable which is nice so I can use this for taller plants. That’s a nice option. Seems to be strong enough.

I have a variety of different style lighting set ups but none like this one. This one is special because you put this lighting system in the plant and you can put a plant where there is no window. It is great for limited space or not. Rick A.

I loved this light when I got it, but 3 months later the timer doesn’t work and the light flickers while on.

I purchased the two-pack to start my indoor winter vegetables from cuttings. My little onions are thriving quicker compared to last year’s attempt without the lights. There is no heat dispersing from the lamps so nothing can be burned, and with the timer option, you can feel secure in knowing it will shut off after 3/9/12 hr setting.

What I greatly praise about Kullsinss though is the efficiency, extreme courtesy and respect I received from their representative, initially following up to ensure I was satisfied with my purchase, and then immediately again after I had a couple of questions. They aren’t the typical company who ignores a customer’s concerns after the purchase transaction has been completed.

I will definitely purchase from Kullsinss again! Thank you!

I bought this for my succulent. it helped bring the colour back in them is an excellent grow light. I bought other g grow lights in the past and they didn’t work as well. This one has a white light with a little bit of red in it and it works awesome. Super easy to use with a timer and it pivots to where you wanted to go. I definitely recommend this grow light.

I tested this on my orchid. As orchids do not need that much light and are not supposed to be in direct sunlight this works really well in the placement I have for my orchid. The timing settings do not really work very well as the light does not switch off after 3 hours. As for the different settings it’s easy to use and set to the right levels you need.

I’ve got this as I wanted a light for an indoor fern that I have in a corner that doesn’t receive a lot of natural light. What with winter coming? I wanted to make sure that I didn’t suffer from lack of light. It’s a small light strip that has LED lights For the full spectrum making it very suitable for indoor plants. It’s got a rod that you can just stick in the pot and adjust to Everhart you need and also an angle joint so that you can rotate it to whatever position you want in. I like the fact that it comes with an automatic on off timer and different light levels so you can adjust it to your needs . This is however for small plants and if you have a really big indoor plant then obviously you would need a bigger light. For normal sized house plants its perfect. I’ve been using it for a little while now and my plants doing absolutely fine so for me recommended and I think good value for money also.

I have a palm plant in the bathroom; which is not very bright. I have a few USB lights that I use to help the palm plant grow; which has been fairly effective; this being one of them.

It has different colours though isn’t as bright as I would like it to be.

It is easy to use. I plug it in to a power bank and set the timer; and let it do it’s job.

I personally am not too fond of the different coloured lights; unsure how effective they are; and am using it just because I have it. I most likely would not buy it again when it stops working.

Licht gut, Hhe sehr gut, Kabel schn lang.

Only way of holding it up is a stick the only goes so small and doesn’t really stay straight cause of weight, so works just would have been nice to have a sticky feature that I could put it on my shelf and it stay straight.

As you can see from the supplied image the spread of light is good (usable light strength of upto 4ft) but is dependent on the height you have extended the bar to and to what angle you have the light bar set at.
There are 10 light settings but neither are so bright that you burn the plant.

The glow lamp bar attaches by threaded connection to a good quality angular joint that in turn is threaded onto the telescopic support rod which creates stability and allows for good adjustment of the angle of light.
At the bottom of the telescopic bar there is an integrated point that is inserted into the soil of the plant pot.

The timer is a very useful facility for allowing the light to treat the plant for a set amount of time and switch itself off when you are not around to do so.

The grow lamp would definitely benefit from a base stand for the bottom of the telescopic rod as the lack of one becomes an issue when the grow light is being used over a seed tray and has nothing to push into. However, a piece of wood with the correct sized hole drilled into it would answer the problem. (See image)

The grow lamp plugs into a 5v/2A USB adapter that is supplied, but this has one annoyance that the USB socket is on the side of the adapter, which whilst it may have been placed there to prevent the USB plug from being knocked and snapped, it means that if the cable is accidentally caught in the wrong direction it cannot freely remove itself from the USB port and therefore will definitely snap off.
Since the power adaptor is 5v/2A, it should be easy enough to purchase a replacement with the USB port at the front if so desired. (See image)

Good light spread and good height .. Good for several plants at once

This is definitely not the brightest grow light on the market, but is a lot better than most similarly sized lights that I have tried.

It is USB powered and can be adjusted to come on every day for 3, 9 or 12 hours at a time, and also set to use one of 10 brightness levels.

It uses a height adjustable stake that goes into the soil, so that you can set it to the right height for your plants.

The only complaint really is that you have to put it quite deep into the soil to keep it steady, otherwise it can turn in the soil and the light can move away from your plant, so also make sure that the pot isn’t at an angle.

It is actually surprisingly bright for its size and I’m quite impressed, as usually these small lights are too dim.

I like that it’s LED, so that it uses very little energy. I added this to my cabinet and measured the increase in electricity usage, which was around 10w, which means it will cost almost nothing to power this light.

The price is currently 13.50 which is really worth it for this well made and very effective product.

It’s really good quality and I’m very happy with it, so would be more than happy to recommend it.

I Have recently started my own mini greenhouse project and I have been using a couple of grow lights. Compared to these grow lights, the Kullsiness Grow Light is portable and can easily be placed in any pot. The only disadvantage is it can either cover 1 large pot or a couple of small ones. The build quality of the stand/pole is not good, it keeps coming off the soil when you try adjusting the height.

    Easy to use

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSmall and very light, comes in a surprisingly small packaging. Took me 5 seconds to assemble.
10 levels of brightness are unnecessary in my opinion, 3 would be enough.
Light is enough for one middle sized plant but could be brighter.

I have trouble with my aloe vera plant and really want this plant to grow so thought l would give it a helping hand, and l think it’s working.

Good idea for the winter months too, it was super easy to set up, and gives my plants that extra light they need to thrive.

Very reasonably priced, and l am happy with the product.

Love this light, definitely seen an improvement on my peace lily and adjacent plants. Good light functions and timer settings. Only downful I think is the telescopic metal pole. Will probably rust over time due to it sitting within the compost and exposed to water. But overall brilliant light kit and does what it’s described to do. Would recommend.

I’ve never used a grow light before so was excited to try this.
Gives a nice sufficient light especially for winter days/evening/nights.
I’ve only used during the evening between 6-9pm but I’m not sure my alocasia likes it though.
Great height adjustment but the metal is going to rust being stuck in a wet pot constantly not sure rust will be great for the plant.
Sturdy enough, good light adjustment. Recommend. Thank you

Great full spectrum light for us with fussy plants. I myself grow my own coleus which is renown for being extra annoying to care for during the colder months due to lack of light but I put this over my China rose coleus and it perked up within just two days.

It comes with three modes and ten different dimmable levels which is plenty to pick and choose from. The fact that it is height adjustable is a great thing since my coleus grows a lot, and fast, so I see that as a big plus although it is a little bit wobbly. So keep that in mind.

    Good product over all.

I bought this small strip light for a small shelve plant display. It is very suited for this, as the strip comes with a special rod that digs in the pot and supports the light perfectly and very neatly. As you can extend or reduce the rod, you can match it to your plant’s height making it a very discreet and useful feature. Of course the pot needs a minimal depth of soil to hold the rod upright. The universal joint at the end of the rod lets you then orientate and point it towards the plants so the strip isnt blinding you in the room. The light has a natural white tint, making a pleasant glow in the corner.

I found that the strip is small and has a limited brightness, making it ideal to nurture my plant through the winter darker months a couple of pots. It camouflages well and it wont stand out too much or become an eyesore. However its not powerfull enough for a full plant collection or a big potted bush-size plant like a large ficus, for that purpose you will need a bigger version or model.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was very impressed by these grow lights. Not only was the telescopic stand very tall but the cable is very long. It is easy to manoeuvre (high/low stand, angled light (90 or at an angle, you can also turn the light itself to change different ways 360). You can change the brightness but I would prefer separate up/down buttons as you have to filter through all the brightnesses without indication of the dimmest/brightest. You can set a timer which is fine but you can’t pick the on/off time only the length of time the lights are on for. You can filter the lights to be all three colours (white/red/blue or just blue, or red and white) whilst the light is bright the colours aren’t particularly strong. Overall would recommend particularly if you have taller plants.

I ordered this because I have a few houseplants that I position near windows, or place on the lounge window ledge for a few hours every day. However, as the season is changing, and Autumn is welcoming us with her limited sunlight, my plants were looking a little sad. This is the perfect solution to help my plants survive the winter months.

It isn’t free standing, so it must be inserted into one of the plants (or placed into a vase near the plants), but it can be adjusted for distance – depending on how many plants you have beneath the light. It is easy to use and adjust. The first time I used it I could actually see the plants in the image lifting toward the light, just like it always did toward the sunlight coming through the window.

I’m a fussy mare when it comes to my grow lights and usually only stick to the brands I know but I have to say, this little grow light may be diminutive but it’s pretty cracking for what it is and will be ideal as a low wattage (was showing at 8w/hour via my smart plug) light for my little terrarium.

The light unit itself is just under 10.5 inches in length and the telescopic arm used for supporting the light bar can be extended from 8-26″, making it ideal for tighter spaces.

The unit is operated by a little online switch that allows you to power on – adjust the light brightness from 100% down to as little as 10%, adjust the colour temperature with 3 settings and also to set timers of 3/9/12.

For those interested, at 8″ from the plant canopy, I was getting a LUX reading over 450 which is really not bad at all for such a low powered light unit 🙂

The light comes with a 5v adaptor plug but I’ve just plugged mine in via the USB port on my wall socket which I prefer as it removes bulky plugs from the scenario.

For the price, I think this is a fab bit of kit and I’ll get a lot of use out of it this winter.

    Small but mighty!

When I saw this I thought the use of an aerial pole was a good idea to provide support for the light strip. Thing is the aerial should really be stainless steel as it’s going to sit in damp soil and rust if you’re not careful. The aerial is fitted at an angle and does need to be done up tight with each section partially extended to stop it swinging around so much I found. On the plus side you can remove it and suspend the strip if needed

I think you can get 2 or even 3 light bar of this price range around 17. I do like the design that using an antenna pole that can insert into soil to support it. Definitely really helpful to make my plants to get through this winter.

    Too pricey for me
