I cannot believe how comfy these are.
Dont be put off by the height – they run up to your knees of course, but you wont feel any itchiness or any adverse effects if your legs are normally okay. The nice gentle compression gave my legs a lovely strong feeling even when cold, and I feel an improvement in circulation.

The foot area is nicely made with thick layers that have some cushion, so they will glide into shoes easily.

They are insanely warm, but not sweaty thankfully, and I dont use them as ski socks, I now just use them as regular socks on extra cold days.

    Highly highly recommend.

This is perfect if you are travelling to a cold country. It’s also very comfortable to wear at home. I went to Scotland for a small trip, and these socks kept my feet and legs warm. These are also perfect for playing sports in the winter. They are also not very expensive, especially for thermal socks of this quality. I recommend this product.

    Very comfortable

These nicely-made socks looked as if they would be too small, but they stretch just sufficiently to be got on with a little effort. My feet are size 9-9.5, and the socks don’t feel too tight. They are, though, very snug and supportive, almost compression socks, but you are not aware of them really when wearing them. The tops sit just under the knee, and I didn’t get any noticeable marks or grooves after wearing them.
The price has dropped since I received them, and at 14.38 (the pink ones are a bit more) for two pairs, they seem fair value.

High quality warm and supportive long socks.

I’m impressed by these boot-length stylish socks. They hold a good balance between breathability and cushioning. I believe this is down to the wool/synthetics ratio that has well-thought-through proportions to give warmth, elasticity, and long-lasting comfort.

Mid-weight cushioning is not too chunky and despite the thickness of the fabric, the moisture-wicking properties are good, too.

Need to mention that they do have a bit of a stretch but not enough for layering with other socks. Anyway, it is not necessary because they insulate well from the cold and keep my feet remarkably warm.

Washed well without losing any qualities.

These are some decent quality nice and warm compression socks. Be warned that whilst these are good for some medical conditions they can be a problem for others. They do hug your legs quite well and they are comfortable but it also feels nice to get them off after a long day. There have been claims made that compression socks do help improve blood flow from your heart to your legs but on the other side of the coin they can also cause irritation and itchiness. Unfortunately I haven’t found them to help with restless leg syndrome but as I have previously stated they are comfortable so I can’t fault them there, nor have I had any of the downsides associated with them. At around 18 for two pairs I find them a little on the high side but not too bad and if you’re specifically looking for compression socks I don’t think you can go wrong with these.

    Warm and comfortable socks
They stay up, no slipping under the feet.
They easily fit my size 8 feet, a bit big so I would say they would still got a 9 or at a push a size 10.
They are very long, I could pull them above my knees but wear them just below so I would be happier if they were an inch of two shorter.
The tops are fairly tight so something to be aware of it you have big calves or if you want to wear them over biking trousers.
If you are wearing in the wet you should be aware that because of the wool content, these socks will quickly soak up any rain making them very soggy.
They wash well with no shrinkage and they stayed soft. ( I washed them in my normal wash of 30 degrees)
4 Stars, warm and comfy but a little long.

    Comfortable and warm. Wash well.

These socks are not as soft as some I own but this is often the case when they contain wool. They seem very warm on, but temperatures have not really plunged enough to tell if they are good enough for colder winter conditions. socks are very long (above the knee for a 5ft4″ person) and fit a size 5 well. Patterns and colours are okay, and the price seems fair.

These socks are exceptionally good to look and wear. My wife loves them. They are long enough to cover full knee length. They are soft, fluffy and strong enough to last long. Highly recommended

Got these for a nice trip away to Iceland that’s coming up as been told to prepare for some cold weather and to be wrapped up in warm clothing even though I will not be going ski-Ing these are sooo nice to wear really keep your feet toasty and yet not to the point you feel your toes sweating.

They are so nice to wear even as just indoor socks can make shoes feel tighter but that depends on the shoes you wear.

Definitely recommend these for cold weather.

These socks are made from thick, stretchy and woolly material, and are comfortable and warm. The toes and heels are reinforced and therefore provide protection against the cold and blistering. They are ideal for winter sports. The snazzy geometric design is stylish and attractive.

Attractively designed, long, supportive and stretchy ski socks

I love the design, colours and appropriate ribbing. There are no visible seams and these are suitably thick and woolly. With a slight elasticated arch support and stretch, these are the perfect sock to wear in cold climes.

My disappointment stems from the fact that I ordered medium and a large size was delivered. This means that my husband now benefits from these – and not me. He confirms that they are warm and he likes the look of them. However, whilst significantly cheaper than the majority of ski socks, these are also thinner and I suspect that the small percentage of merino wool (5%) will be rather telling on the ski slopes.

My husband is sold on these

These are really good quality socks that fit really well. They are long and reach my knees which is perfect. They are not static which helps and are breathable.

    I would recommend.

Love these socks. They are knee length and comfortable. Provide plenty of warmth and don’t rub. Two pairs in the pack. Good quality and pretty good value for money.

    Long warm and comfortable

These socks are really well made and are the most comfortable and warmest socks I have ever worn. I absolutly love them

I received the larger size ski socks and they are definitely large enough.
They’re well made though and soft.
My legs get very cold so these are perfect to keep them warm.
You get two pairs of grey and black and they’re excellent value for money if you have big feet.

These came in a size large, my size is a size 8 and they fit him well…… The are warm socks that are long and most suitable for his job especially now the colder months are upon us.

They are easy to put on and take off…. My son is slim but I do think anyone of a bigger build will struggle to get them on and would be too tight as they are narrow.

    The quality is OK.
The price is quite high for 2 pairs of socks, I personally wouldn’t pay this price, 10 is sufficient!

These socks feel comfortable to wear, and should prove to be warm. Generally the fit is good, and the sizing fine. However, I feel they are let down a little by the construction and shape of the toes. The toes are bulky and slightly square in shape, with the result that there is some surplus material where the toes taper off. Perhaps there is an argument here for socks that are shaped for left and right feet?

These are good quality ski socks with a super mix of materials that provide warmth and breathability not to mention giving the socks good stretch, elasticity and strength.
These are long enough to get right upto the knee and slightly further on my legs without having to stretch them beyond their intended length.
The cushioning in them feels soft and smooth on the feet with good elastication in the arch area for support.
The socks don’t drift down during activity either and stay pulled all the way up. They also don’t feel restrictive either on the calves, just nice and comfortable.
These aren’t the thickest socks I’ve seen for a ski sock, they are thick, but you can get thicker.
These are washable at a temp of upto 40C and can be tumble dried.
They wash well without much colour run or losing any shape.
I think the price is pretty good as well. Just under 18 at time of review for 2 pairs is about the right price and there’s also a 20% saving to be had at the moment.
Great quality, feels lovely and soft on the feet and legs and warm as well as breathable for fresher, warmer feet.

    Nice socks.
    Comfortable.
Alot of support around the arch without making them feel too tight.
I’d say these are medium thickness for socks.
They do go up to the knee, but don’t stay there easily like old school socks did.
I’d say just above the calf they sit happily, or they fall down when you move about.
Having merino in them they keep your feet warm, but arnt itchy or scratchy material against your skin.
I’m a uk Size 6, and received the medium. They fit me perfectly.
Definitely well worth the money, feel soft and good for the outdoors!!

Super impressed with these socks. I popped a pair on as soon as they arrived and went for a nice long cross country walk with my dog. The socks performed really well, they never slid down and all, most socks fall down on me, but these didn’t budge. I have quite wide calves and they fit perfectly. The cushioning is great, they are really comfortable and stop my new boots rubbing my heels. I am a size 7 and they fit me well, they would fit maybe up to a size 9, the size chart says they fit from an EU 35 to 39, I think they would be too big for sizes below a UK 6.

Fantastic quality, warm , comfortable and don't fall down.

Nice set of socks. Perfect fit. They seem quite warm (not tried them skiing yet), and have a slight amount of padding in random places – e.g. top of the foot. Look to be good quality and well made.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThese socks are quite good. I suffer with reynolds phenomena meaning that warm socks in the winter are a must! I found these work really well in keeping my feet warm (which I generally seem to find difficult even with multiple layers of socks on).

Do keep in mind that it is quite tight around the calf area and when I first put them on I found them to dig in behind the knee. But stretching it out a little helped with that.

These are not the softest of socks. Another important thing to note is that if you need socks of a certain size, you are unable to pick which shoe size when purchasing. I am a UK size 5 and it fit nicely with a bit of room.

Thank you for reading my review, please let me know if you found it to be helpful for you! 🙂

These socks feel lovely on, have cushioning in the right places to wear ski boots. I got medium and I am a size uk 7 – they were a bit big (see photo when pulled up properly) may suit a mens size uk 9 ish better. 17.98 for 2 pairs of technical ski socks is reasonable, 5 stars but check sizing.

Great tech socks. CHECK SIZING - MEDIUM TOO BIG FOR UK 7.

Warm, snuggly, supportive below knee socks for winter thermal goodness!!

These are delightful, well made, easy to put on and off. Very comfy supportive areas to avoiding shoes rubbing or blisters on long walks. They’re super thermal – and love that the colour scheme will go with my thermals!!

On the other hand would not recommend size M for anyone with feet larger than a UK6 – this is my shoe size and they fit comfortably but I think any bigger and they’ll be too small.

17.98 is a great price for x2 pairs of good quality socks containing merino wool – just remember to wash at 30 and air dry – look after them and they’ll look after you!!

    Verdict:
    Recommended.

Winter thermal goodness but are on the smaller side!

These will be great when skiing or snowboarding, or even clearing the drive of snow,. Any time when you really want to feel warm and comfortable – even if the weather thinks different. I’m not sure where a woollen sock can be described as cotton (in the description) – which might cause a bit of concern as to what these are really made of, but they feel ‘wooley’ to me. The design is quite funky, reminding me of a Stormtrooper, which will no doubt be commented upon by those with colder feet – but I really like them.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAccording to the ticket supplied with these socks they are 5% Merino wool+15% acrylic+15% Nylon+45% Persian+15% Polyester+5% Spandex so somewhat different to the “Made of premium wool ( 37% Wool, 28% Polyester, 25% Nylon, 10% Spandex” on the Amazon store page. They make a big thing about being Merino wool but the product and Amazon page contradict each other so much I would take it all with a grain of salt.
The size fittings on the store page confusing the packet helpfully says they are “L”.
All I can say is I take a men’s size10 shoe and found they fitted me well. On the whole I found them comfortable to wear the tops end just below my knees and the elastic helps to keep them up. I have thin legs and did not find the elastic too tight but those with more meat on their bones might find it digs in at the top.
They are reasonably thick, although I have thicker, and so should help stop the winter wind when standing on a train platform or working outside 18 for two pairs seems a little on the low side compared to others of their type on Amazon but the contradictor material information makes me wonder if others are better spec’d so I will give them a provisional thumbs up for value. As with most clothes bought from Amazon that come from China they arrived in a thick plastic sealable bag which I’m not a fan of but it kept them in good condition on their travels around the world. (I’ve added some pictures of the two black/grey colours I got, you get one pair of light and one pair of dark)

fits my size 10 feet and thin legs nicely stitched together item materials contradict Amazon page
