Have used this little saw instead of my Stihl petrol,and it does a great job of handling up to 4 inch thick logs. Battery life is good, very happy so far.
I’ve therefore been looking for a smaller battery chainsaw for the odd branch and Christmas tree for a while now.
I am very familiar with the Lamnmaster range and so far have been amazed at their reliability and value for money. Therefore as a Christmas present I thought I’d give this a go.
First off the chainsaw seems well built and chunky. Plastic but sturdy with a good safety click on the handle.
Instructions were provided but not really needed. Add the chain. Tighten the blade and pop in the battery. The saw comes with chain oil too the wasn’t expected.
After clicking in the battery and clicking off the safety it was simply ready to go. Started to work cutting a 12 foot Christmas tree to take to the dump as a tester. Tried a Chucky branch too big for hand cutters and this disappeared immediately.
Started a bigger one. Again off it went quietly chomping away.
Really impressed I started on a monster 20cm base stump and with a speed similar to my larger petrol saw it was gone.
As with all of their products I was so impressed I had to give it a review. The pertol saw will be going on a well knows auction site shortly and for the odd occasion I need a chainsaw this is way more than needed. Very very impressed.
I now have a range of their tools. 2 remote lawnmowers (one large one baby), a leaf blower (bargain) a hedge cutter simply awesome) and now this. (Perfect for home garden use).
I really don’t know how they manage to produce such good stuff at the price point. The fact the batteries all interchange means I only ever have to have one thing in charge. An added bonus to an amazing product in a range that just gets on with the job. Thank you Lawnmaster.
The only negative in a comedy way really is it’s silent. I do as a bloke still like the sound of a revving 2 stroke but this is something I’ll gladly do without to have something far cheaper, more reliable and just as good.
