My husband and I only get one gift for each other each year, and since he seriously started collecting vinyls, he’s had a few near misses with the four year old running over his double albums because he was standing them against the entertainment center where he keeps his turn table. It came late, but that’s on Amazon, not the seller. He loves it and uses it every time he plays a record.
When I saw this available I jumped on it because my record collection is getting quiet large adding on to what I have from 30 yrs ago. I’ve had this plan to have a weekly get together with friends to feature and album every week and talk about it. This little display stand is perfect to have it features in front of everyone while we’re talking. Such a simple thing but let’s face it, we all by the physical media because we have something to hold and review while we’re listening. That’s exactly what this is for. It’s worth it!
This product was well packaged, easy to set up and very nice! It’s not my personal style but it could make for a great gift for music lovers who love a sleek look. I wish the lights had the option for blinking patterns or different colors but all in all it’s a great find. Definitely recommend.
Much nicer alternative to using my turntable’s dust cover to stand up my vinyl record jacket. 🙂
So, when I received this item, the box it came in was a bit confusing, as it didn’t indicate what exactly it was–thought perhaps I’d received the wrong item. But it was, indeed the record stand and nicely packaged inside (perhaps the company uses the same box for a variety of products).
Assembly was straight forward and took less than 10 minutes. Each piece of acrylic has a protective sticker on both sides, so you’ll want to make sure you get all of that off as your putting it together. The wood base is very attractive and has a felt bottom. Simple on/off switch which you’ll have to plug into a USB charger.
The light this thing gives off is perfect: it’s a warm color and looks especially nice in a dimmed room while spinning your favorite albums. The angle at which the album cover stands is perfect.
I’d been looking at similar items for awhile but just never pulled the trigger on a purchase. I think the price point for this “might” be a little high, for what it is but, then again, price of materials have gone up across the board for all products and it may be in line with similar products. All told, I’m super pleased with this addition to my listening area and will get a lot of enjoyment from it.
I really like this record stand. It looks great in my living room, was very easy to assemble, and works well.
A neat thing about this design is that when I’m not playing an album and the light is turned off, it’s almost invisible.
This unique “now playing” LED light up sign looks nice. Set is easy to assemble. Comes with cord to plug into USB for power. Cord isn’t to long, you may need a power supply on the area you plan to sit the sign. Letters are smaller than expected but looks nice near turntable. Would make a great gift for a vinyl record lover!
This is so cool and a great idea for holding the vinyl that I’m spinning. I always just used to lean them against the TV or something. I think this is such a cool little accent piece. I’ll use it for years!
