I thought they are different style and build but I am not disappointed as they are very good quality gloves even I won’t be able to use them by designation.Still they feel very good quality and really thick for some of the gym sports .Nice improvement tho .Good job Mammal Strength. It was a pleasure.

Excellent quality hand grips. Let you work out in comfort. The sizing worked very well for me and I can already tell they will be long lasting. Very happy with this new addition to my gym kit!

It’s taken me a while to get used to these grips. You definitely need to use chalk as well when first bedding them in. They are fairly thin but do still have a slight detrimental effect on my ability to get my small hands around the bar but I always find it’s a compromise with these things.
I’ve found they are particularly good to use on the rings.

Got my daughter these for her gymnastics practice to give her more of a grip on her bar work. Worked great and she’s very happy

I’ve been using this hand grips for a few weeks at the gym and I love them.
They’re great for doing mixed workouts as not having finger holes make them easy to use with other equipment.
I usually just twist them to have the palm free when I am not doing exercises on the bar, but I guess they can be used without twisting them too.
      Overall I think it’s a great product.

I haven’t used these for gymnastics but have for weightlifting.

These were tested with 50kg dumbbells and a barbell was also used to see how they performed during a push exercise (Incline bench press) and another for a low weight deadlift.

They provide a really good grip on the bars. The neoprene padding is fairly thick and sufficient enough to make them comfortable. It’s suggested to fit them a little loose on the wrists. There is a metal loop too which the wrist strap threads through so materials are well thought out and they should perform well and last for a considerable length of time. The grip part is flexible to wrap easily around bars and provides some cushioning too during both push and pull exercises.

I cannot think of any negatives at this time as they seem to be well constructed, perform well & are competitively priced.

Do measure up as the image shows before ordering to ensure you get the correct size.

Really good grips. Well made and a good value price.

Easy to put on and dont take much space in the gym bag.

I use them on pull down and occasionally RDL’s once my grip starts to wane.

I don’t like wearing gloves but lately my hands have been suffering with blisters from lifting. These look very cool, nice logo and quality made. They’re quick to fit and not uncomfortable even when tight. They have a kind of lifting strap feel to them when you are deadlifting or doing a pull exercise. I’ve worn them for dumbbell pressing too as they offer just enough cushioning and that’s what I want. Comes with a cool little storage bag too. Good product which looks good too.

Nice alternative to gloves, saves your hands!

I recently got back into fitness after a long time. I had lost some strength while gaining weight.

I got these with the hope of allowing me to do pull-ups a bit easier while I regain strength.

I was excited when I received them in the post. They come in a really nice and useful bag that allows me to hang them up, keeping everything neat and tidy.
They are comfortable to wear, I have a sports watch on too that doesn’t get in the way.
They allow me to do pull-ups without worrying about my grip strength, but also my hands don’t hurt afterward either.
      I really like them

These help protect hands and do the job needed very well. For anyone who suffers with sore hands and still wants to exercise these are great to take strain off of hands.

      Great suppo

Happy with these. They provide good grip and are comfortable – though found it important to play around with the fit and after a few sessions they felt like old friends. It’s important to measure your hand and get the correct size. They seem well made and hopefully will last well. Great for CrossFit.

Handy for the big lifts and pull days at the gym. I like them as your hands get to breath and not sweaty as gloves can make them. They are good but give them a couple of goes so the leather gets worn in and the grip is a lot better.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe gymnastic grips are a game changer for me. I’ve only used them for one session so far but these are by far the best quality pair or grips I’ve owned.

I chose the Grippy XL size. I measured my palm and I was 12cm in between the L and XL. I decided on the XL because they recommend getting one size larger if you want the grips to wrap around the bar. When they finally came they seemed a bit big so I was worried I ordered wrong but when it came to trying them out they felt great.

These grips are thicker than my other grips and felt a lot more comfortable whilst testing my max kipping pull ups. Definitely much more grippier as well I wasn’t slipping like normal and having to try to regrip the bar.

I didn’t come off the bar with my calluses hurting as well. Although it might be because I filed them down recently so I will have to update if that changes.

Overall these grips are really great and made of top quality materials. I definitely recommend this produc

💪 🏋️‍♂️ Finally a decent pair of Gymnastics Grips 🤸‍♂️

Fingerless grips are awesome for Crossfit workouts or gymnastic movements.

Essentially, grips will take away most of the risk of tearing your hands. In addition to this, they can improve how long you can hold on to something by improving the amount of friction between yourself and the bar, therefore reducing the amount of grip strength you need to use. This is useful if you are working on gymnastic movements or carries of any kind, and don’t want grip to be the limiting factor.

These particular grips by Mammal Strength are of really good quality. I’ve had a number of products from Mammal Strength before and I have to say that I’m always impressed with what they offer.

To begin with the most important part: the grip on these is excellent. They have used a textured poly-mesh that is somewhere between the Bear Komplex Carbons and the Victory Grips Tacticals. When you first use them, they may feel a little slick, but after a few uses and some chalk they’re break in and you’ll get a solid amount of grip. It’s not so much that you feel ‘stuck’ to the bar, but you do feel the assistance.

The comfort level on these is really good too. There’s plenty of protection to stop your hands from tearing due to friction or rough bars. They feel soft against the skin, but there’s not so much cushioning that you feel you’re holding a fat grip or struggle to hold tightly enough to a bar to stay safe. The Velcro part around the wrist has also been really well constructed. This can be the first part to go on many grips, so I was really pleased to see this. They feel they will last a long time as a result.

Of course, the reason for choosing fingerless grips over ones with finger holes in is down to the ease of transition. On this, they’re as good as you’d expect. When working on barbell movements you can flip them out of the way to grip the barbell and then when moving to gymnastic work you can allow them to fall over your hands and loop over the bar on a rig.

Overall, really nice grips from Mammal Strength. It’s less important than everything mentioned above, but I also think they look nice. The black styling with white logos and cool big cat in the centre will suit most gym clothing and look at home in a Crossfit Box.

      Fantastic grips for quick transitions

This hand grips feel very good quality, they also offer protection and se comfort in use.

I measured my hand and got large and the size is perfect for me. Make sure you do measure your palm before ordering these as the fit is definitely important. Too big or small can affect your grip.

I used these during some ring work and kipping pull-ups and they felt pretty good, they also offered good transition between movements.

I’ve been impressed with the mammal strength equipment I’ve used so far.

      Nice and grippy

I’m quite enjoying using these hand grips by Mammal Strength.

I get calluses on my palms and fingers when I do heavy weights on a barbell as well as from pull ups, so I was keen to try these Mammal Strength hand grips.

It took me just a couple of sets to find out how loosely I should have them tied around my wrists. It didn’t take me long to get used to using them and I found them really good for deadlifts and bent over rows. I also like using them on pull ups. I didn’t find them quite as comfortable when using a very wide grip on the barbell for shrug exercises (as the hand grips somehow left my thumbs exposed on the bar in a slightly uncomfortable way).

I had previously been using long weight lifting straps for deadlifts and bent over rows, but I think I will switch to using these Mammal Strength hand grips. For wide grip exercises on the barbell though, I think I may stick to using the more traditional long weight lifting straps that need to be wound several times around the bar. I also really like these Mammal Strength hand grips for pull ups – they offer just enough extra grip and comfort that I am able to do almost an entire extra rep on pull ups.

Overall then, these are useful. They aren’t perfect for all lifting activities, but they are good enough for most pulling exercises that I will definitely be using them from now on.

Good for deadlifts and pull ups
