I’m really surprised that it’s so good because it’s so cheap for a gaming keyboard. Very bright and colourful lights, very responsive keyboard and not too loud. I’m happy with my purchase

All those people saying ahh is not working and stopped after usage DONT know it’s there fault as you can’t keep a keyboard in goo condition as you probably broke it “DOMONIC” I’m talking to you!

Bought this as a gift for someone getting their first gaming PC, I have quite a few keyboards and custom keyboards, and this, whilst not being perfect, for its pricepoint works well and doesn’t looks/ feel too clunky like most full-sized keyboards do.

For a budget option for a beginner/last-minute replacement, this will do the job.

Bought for my son, he loves his gaming and wanted a mechanical keyboard. Not so much clicking as expected but we’re thankful for that. So many modes he never knows which to pick.

This Redragon Mechanical Keyboard is great for me as a beginner.

It’s good for the games I play and it was easy to install.

I like the LED lights, and the sound they make when pressed.

My daughter watches a lot of youtube and twitch videos of esport gamers, and of the ones that play on PC they all have these heavily styleised keyboards. The key switches on these keyboard are a fundamental part of the appeal, they have a very satisfying click sound and of course they also have lots of wild LED light show options. Does it make you a better gamer? Or faster typist? No. But you look and sound cooler, and that’s got to count for something. She now has 3 keyboards and switches between them fairly often. I’d say the sound level on this is probably the best of them, it isn’t too loud but it still has the strong feedback she wants.

Honestly, didn’t think this would be a good keyboard. Because it’s quite cheap but I’ve received it and so far it’s good. It’s not too loud with the switches which I love & it’s a full size keyboard , I used to use a 60% but it got annoying over time so I’m happy to be back on a FULL size one. Big up RedDrago

This colourful mechanical wired keyboard has been a joy to use.
The lettering is clear, and the keys are very responsive to touch.
There are options for several different gaming profiles.
The different lighting selections are fun to play around with.
It came well packaged with some short instructions on how to use it. In the box there were also a keypad puller and 4 spare switches.
It is ergonomically designed but I would suggest an added wrist support for longer gaming periods.

    Flashy keyboard with several settings.

I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone looking for a budget-friendly mechanical keyboard that is suitable for gaming and productivity alike. The main body is well made and key caps are a good quality plastic for the price range. RGB is completely operable from the onboard firmware (no proprietary desktop software needed) can also be turn off.
I am happy with the product I got. Can’t really beat this at the price point.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAt the time I placed an order for this Redragon keyboard for review in October 2022, it was listed at 55.99, but now at the time of writing the review, it has come down in price to 46.99. I have to say, this Redragon keyboard is a bargain! I have usually used Razer or Crosair keyboards, but I have also owned and reviewed other keyboards too. If I am honest, I hadn’t heard of Redragon before so I wasn’t expecting much. However, I am really impressed. For a start, I thought the extra keys and tools to replace the keys were a nice touch. The actual keyboard, given the price, appears to be solidly built and the looks are very impressive, especially the backlights.

In terms of gameplay, I have used this with both my desktop gaming computer and also with my iMac. Keys are a joy to use, they very responsive, and can take a hammering. My only very minor criticism is that the lead could do with being a couple of centimetres longer, but it is such a minor issue, I think this still warrants a 5-star rating.

Amazing quality and the price has just got even bette

I got this for my partner as a back-up gaming keyboard. He seemed really happy with the quality of the mechanical keyboard overall, especially that it lights up in over 18 different modes which is fairly impressive! Each key is visible and can be easily seen, and just by plugging it into a USB hub, it begins working immediately.

The RGB is smooth and doesn’t flicker, while typing with the keyboard is also smooth and not too noisy. It makes for a comfortable and fun gaming experience. It also comes with some cool stickers that you can use to customise your keyboard. My partner says it’s good value and a great keyboard choice for gaming.

In terms of layout, this keyboard is everything I want. The large enter key, a full keyboard with the numpad, wired, mechanical, red switches, these all hit the tick boxes I want from a keyboard, so it’s pretty much perfect for me.
The RGB is a nice touch, but I don’t require it, so it doesn’t do much for me.
Programmable keys is a nice upgrade from what I was using, which was a brown switch mechanical keyboard, and was nice as it is, but this was a touch better, although a solid 20 more expensive, so I’m not sure it’s worth it in my case. I don’t really need this either, so the value is further dampened, but it does help with certain games, which is good.
Comes with bonus switches in case you need to replace any and a keycap puller so you can clean the keyboard more easily.
Red switches are great and the touch is really good, however, I do have to say these red switches feel like the brown switches from my previous keyboard. These red switches aren’t quite the same as Cherry MX red switches, which feel better in my opinion, however, this keyboard is also more than half the price of keyboards of the same design with Cherry MX switches, so for the price, it’s a worthy compromise in my opinion, since it’s not that far off and this is still a very good keyboard.
For 46.99, this is a very good keyboard and I like the layout a lot, so it’s definitely something I can recommend and would consider getting again when I need a new one. 4.5 stars realistically since the price is marginally higher than my previous keyboard and the switches are as good as Cherry MX ones, but given that it ticks all the boxes for me, I will say it’s closer to 5 stars.

If you are a gamer hoping to find an affordable full keyboard that packs good performance, nice form factor, and RGB support then this Redragon Mechanical Keyboard is one you may want to consider.

Coming from the Blackwidow V2 and Analog Huntsman which are among the best flagships out there, this keyboard doesn’t differ much in terms of performance. It is responsive, with keys that never fail to miss a click during competitive gaming, and a good space in between keys for comfortable and intuitive gaming or typing.

The RGB features are equally appealing, with a variety of modes, speeds, and brightness levels. You can create macros just like any other good keyboard, and you can have certain RGB modes that kick when launching certain games.

In sum, a good gaming keyboard with ergonomic key distribution and reliable performance.

This keyboard is easy to use, the software is free to download and easily installed. The software allows for the colours to be changed and has a user friendly interface. There is lots of preset options or the ability to change the colours as you wish including each key to different colour, like some more expensive brands.

The keyboard is a good weight and feels sturdy and durable. It does not move around whilst gaming and the keys are comfortable to use and a fast response. The keyboard comes with extra key mechanisms which are blank to allow for custom keys to be made out of resin.

This Redragon K565 RUDRA RGB keyboard has a minimalistic design where it is only a slightly larger frame than the keys it embodies. This makes it ideal for those short on space but demand a keyboard which includes the full normal range of keys. It certainly feels solid and has quite a bit of weight to it. The build quality seems to be excellent. The keys are of a good size including the backspace which is thankfully full sized.

Both the user guide and software is currently available on the Redragon website. The software provides a lot of customisation including macros and lighting.

All keys are visually easy to see, which is further enhanced by the various lighting effects. The feel of the keys appears to be very responsive and typing on them is not so noisy. The texture of them feels great too.

I was able to simply plug the keyboard into a USB hub I have and my Windows based PC recognised it as such. Immediately upon plugging it in and turning on the USB socket, the keys all illuminated in a changing colour pattern. There are several lighting effects which this keyboard is capable of displaying. A simple two button key press (Function key (FN) plus another) is all what is required to change the lighting display. The instruction leaflet clearly lists all the options and necessary key combinations. Alternatively as previously mentioned the software for this keyboard from the Redragon website allows for a lot of customisation.

The USB A plug on the keyboard cable came with a plastic protector fitted and the cable arrives neatly bundled together via the use of a velcro fastener.

As well as four spare switches being included within a separate storage box, the manufacturer has also included one metal switch puller and one plastic key puller; an instruction leaflet; and a sheet of stickers.

Although it is predominantly aimed at the gamer, any user is likely find it an enjoyable experience to use when carrying out various computer related tasks.

I think the current price of 46.99 is excellent value for money for a keyboard with all the qualities this one possesses. It actually feel a more pleasurable experience to type on than my existing branded gaming keyboard. I cannot think of any negatives because so far it functions exceptionally well.

This is a high-quality and very substantial feeling bit of kit that put a big smile on the face of the resident gamer when I gave it to him to use!
The keys feel very nice to use and not overly noisy, this could be used just for typing quite easily! You also get a four spare…just in case you wear any out I guess!
The keyboard is fairly high so it might be worth investing in a wrist rest for heavy use.

The real jewel in the crown for me is the backlighting. The sheer variety of patterns you can have is great (or conversely just set it to a solid colour or none at all!). It’s very pretty when in full flow though!

Just like the lighting, everything else is fully customisable. It’s a real playground using the software that goes with it if you’re into that side of things.

So really, this is a whole tone of fun that is also very well-built and thought out. I have yet to see or have reported any downsides to it!

Omg, so excited, this keyboard is brilliant, ok, it is wired but then is not that I am moving it around so a wired USB keyboard will do for me. Where do I start, the mechanical keyboard has RGB backlight which can be adjusted using the FN + other keys combination as presented in the instructions booklet. There is an app that can be installed on your pc which would give you access to more RGB backlight profiles to use. With the app you can ever turn RGB off. The seller included 4 spare keys and a tool to easy replace the keys. You can clearly feel every in keypress which makes it very precise and accurate typing.
I definitely recommend this mechanical keyboard.

I have been an avid Corsair user and when this came up I decided to see how it matched against my Corsair keyboard that cost me 100 at the time. Well I’m really surprised on how it performs and in fact it performs better than a keyboard that cost twice as much.
In the box you get all the extra goodies that include extra keys and little tools to do maintenance with.
The RGB is good and smooth and doesn’t flicker like the much cheaper keyboards around. The key stokes are good and I really like the fact it’s not the super clicky keys that some mechanical keyboards have (like my sons Ducky).
Typing with it is nice and way nicer than my keyboard I’m currently using. The cable is plenty enough for me but it could do with being a tad longer for the setups that have the pc further away. But for me it’s perfect on my sim rig as my pc is closer.
I really like this and have intact replace my Corsair for this one permanently I like it that much I have recommended it to my esports sim team. For the price of 55 it’s great and would recommend buying it without worry

The look and feel of this keyboard was surprisingly good. In operation the keys are a lot quieter than my current Razer mechanical keyboard, which really is satisfyingly noisy!
When I took this out of the box I had the feeling I could hammer nails in with it and it would still be ready for typing. It has a heavyweight feel to it and is solidly built. They keys can take a pounding and still bounce back for more. The lighting effects are mesmerising, but no more so than my Razer. You can set them to cycle colours and patterns using the keyboard alone, but the colours and patterns can be customised. You will need to download and install the software to do so, but it isn’t essential.
The keyboard comes with a key puller and some replacement mechanical buttons. I am confident that they won’t be needed, but only time will tell.
I don’t really want to give up my Razer keyboard as it is a beast, but this one is so much quieter and I just don’t think I am going to be switching back to it any time soon.

This is a quiet mechanical keyboard with a spread out layout including all the keys you need to get through your gaming session or work day with ease.

There are two particularly distinctive features of this keyboard. Firstly, the font is one of the most unique (yet clear and large) I have seen on a keyboard. It adds a sort of futuristic element to its design. It’s probably a font you’ll love or hate, though, so I’d zoom into the pictures to check it’s something you’ll like. The second distinctive feature is its lighting. Often with RGB backlit keys, you have quite piercing, bright colours. However, the lighting on this keyboard is deep and much nicer than I have experienced previously (the pictures don’t do it justice). The settings to change the lighting pattern are really pleasant too – a much nicer selection than I’ve had at a higher price point, to be honest!

Also, the feet (which prop it up at the back) are incredibly sturdy, which is a rare find – they won’t be slipping down mid-game, for once. The cable is a nice length to trail behind my monitors and still reach my PC on the floor, though it looks like the cable’s durability is one of the things you have to compromise on at this price point – fine by me since I don’t move my keyboard very often. The keys are a lightweight plastic, which is fine for me too, but not to everyone’s taste. The fact it comes with several spare mechanical keys is a really nice touch. Would definitely recommend, but it does depend on your taste and preferences!

    Looks great in my room!

This mechanical keyboard with red switches works excellent and it is very easy to use product.
Has multimedia shortcuts and this gaming keyboard has very ergonomic design, spill resistant protection: which prevent accidental spills from interrupting your game.
There are multiple RGB backlights, 105 key anti-ghosting.
Support computer system including Windows10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Mac OS X, Windows XP, Windows VISTA, etc
This mechanical keyboard supports macro, key, lights and mutiplemedia editing. You can update the profiles for different gaming purposes. The driver can be downloaded from Redragon website.
It is great value for money product I have to admit.
Looks like very good quality for long time of use.
And therefore, without any hesitation, I can recommend it to anyone who needs one.

This company is known for providing reliable, feature rich, entry-level gaming peripherals. Take a look at some YouTube reviews about why people are buying these. They’re great.

This review is more for the parents who have their kids nagging about wanting a gaming keyboard.

As a gaming keyboard, it has what all the kids are raging about:
    * Fully mechanical switches
    * RGB
    * Programmable macros
    * Multimedia shortcuts
    * It looks the part
    * Rubber feet, so won’t slip on the desk / gaming mat

This is perfect for someone’s teenager who wants a gaming pc, yet you’ve forgotten to buy the keyboard, mouse, etc. but you still want something decent.

    Use:
    * Drivers are easily sourced and software is simple enough to use
    * The keys are very responsive. No noticeable ghosting or input lag.
    * The mechanical switches (red switches for my keyboard) are soft to touch, loud and the travel distance required to hit the key is minimal, yet accidentally brushing over the keys doesn’t set it off, which is good.

Some gimmicky features that make sense:
    * Spill resist protection… Has drain holes, for those irresponsible enough when pumped full of energy drinks and knock their drink over. I’ve not tested this, as I don’t want to have to clean up sticky, caffeinated, energy drinks. But, it’s common to occur, so makes sense to include it.
    * Comes with stickers… Some people use them

Overall, considering the wide ranging prices of low to ultra-premium gaming keyboards, this is a decent entry keyboard that should hold up to the abuse it’s bound to receive.

Solid and compact keyboard with satisfying mechanical noise on key press. Cherry keys that can be easily replaced. No lag time and efficient response to key press. Light profiles can be programmed with fn keys as indicated in instructions or can be made more personalised and instinctive by downloading red dragon software online. RGB lighting facilitates a single colour or rainbow effect that can be programmed to your tastes and what’s happening on the screen. For the price this is a sturdy, good quality keyboard that rivals more expensive versions.

The keyboard comes in an easy-to-open cardboard box. Included with the keyboard are four spare red switches,a key cap lifter, a switch lifter, an instruction leaflet and a sheet of stickers.

The keyboard is an elegant design with a minimal look. The key panel is metal. The underneath is ABS plastic. There is no flex in the keyboard, which has a solid and reassuring weight. There are non-slip pads on the underneath and flip-up feet for those who prefer their keyboards to slope down towards the space bar. The brand logo is discreetly placed above the arrow keys. The keyboard has a UK layout. The 180cm long USB-A cable is non-detachable from the keyboard.

The red switch keys have a smooth, linear press. Their only noise is the sound of the key bottoming out. The resistance of the key press feels just right for me and makes typing an enjoyable experience.

The backlight colours and illumination patterns can be adjusted using the FN key plus certain other keys. If you want to have different profiles or to use key combinations macros or add user defined different colours to individual keys then you will need to install the software from the Redragon Zone website. Profiles allows you to swap quickly between the different keyboard set-ups you’ve made.

I’m very pleased with this keyboard. I like its compact, streamlined look yet it is still a full-size keyboard and number pad. I like the smoothness of the red switch keys and I like being able to set any colour to any key, using the software.

This is an ergonomic keyboard that is ideally suited to gaming, but will also double up for some serious work when needed. The layout and key spacing works well for me and I love the lighting of the keys, which look stunning when lights are lowered. Key clicking is at that background sound level where the noise shouldn’t disturb anyone, yet it still satiates my taste for the sound.

No detectable lag on keying and that should satisfy most requirements from a keyboard. It feels good to use and looks great, whether for gaming or just some boring old office work in the day. At night, it truly comes alive with glorious lighting, that makes this truly special.

This keyboard feels amazing under finger. The keys are a joy to press, and the RGB nature, where it comes across the keyboard in a uniform motion makes it even more appealing, although this time that is done visually. The last keyboard I owned, had a whole seperate row of keys on the end for things like changing the volunme, or stopping nad playing videos/music, but this onw integrates that into the actual keys that are normally on the keyboard which is amazing.

Last but not least, this keyboard sounds amazing and is something that I could listen to for hours on end, especially since I do a lot of writing on keyboards, being an author an all.

Generally a really solid keyboard. The RGB lighting is smooth and actually quite hypnotic — it’s evenly and brightly lit across every key to the point where it almost looks like you’re seeing a special effect in real-time, and can be adjusted via the FN+INS/DEL/HOME/PGUP/PGDOWN/END keys without additional drivers. The various animations are genuinely interesting to watch, although they’re not all terribly usable, with some randomly illuminating keys and clearly being more for show-off display purposes. The “red” keys (I’m not sure if they’re Cherry switches; the product’s own web-page doesn’t say anything about it) have a solid clicky response, but aren’t as fast as the Razer Green switches I normally use. You get 4 spare microswitches, although as mechanical microswitches I would normally expect them to outlive me and being able to replace them shouldn’t really be all that necessary. One or two of the keys feel a little spongey (Backspace, for example) but the rest have the expected positive clicky action. The overall footprint of the keyboard is slightly smaller than many full-size 104-key keyboards usual too, with no bezels or framework outside the keys themselves; nor is there a wrist-rest, although I usually don’t bother with that. I also gave this a try in conjunction with a port-expander on my Win11 Surface 2 Go laptop, and both it and the RGB lighting worked fine without any additional driver support etc — it just worked. For the price, this is a compelling bit of kit even though I had never heard of the manufacturer before.

I was looking for a decent keyboard for general admin work and occasional light gaming and this Red Dragon 104 key mechanical keyboard looked like it would do nicely.

In short – it’s a nice, well thought out and well built keyboard with a few bells and whistles.

To get the full benefit of its customisation options, you will need to be running Windows as the app isn’t supported by iOS so creating your own custom LEDs patterns (beyond the ones that can be changed via key combos mentioned in the instructions) and key combos/shortcuts isn’t a possibility as far as I can see.

The Red Dragon website offers a lot of relevant, up to date support and you’re also provided with some replacement key switches is handy as I can’t stand it when I start to get saggy keys

Really nice 105 key mechanical gaming keyboard for the price!

It comes with red switches which feel good and cherry stem so most keycap sets will fit these no problem.

The keyboard was very easy to set up,it has a decent amount of features like

    18 RGB Backlit Modes
    macros
    Profiles
    Media controls
fully conflict-free 104 keys that ensures the accuracy for simultaneous key presses during intense gameplay and fast typing

    And plenty more

The PCB is also hot-swappable which is always nice to see in a keyboard at this price range incase you want a change of switch.

And this keyboard even comes with 8 spare switches which is so nice to have incase you manage to damage a switch or one needs replacing down the road!

I am personally more of a 60-65% keyboard because I use my PC purely for gaming and I don’t have much space in my setup but this is definitely a keyboard worth giving a go.

Great value for money here and I would recommend.

I got this for my partner who likes his gaming, his previous keyboard was very old and bulky and some of the keys didn’t work, so he is extremely happy with this one.
Very easy to use, simply take the keyboard out the box and connect the USB provided and you’re good to go! Really sleek design, but it has a good weight to it, so it won’t easily move around while in use. The lights are really cool and you can change the colours to a single colour or rainbow effect, and even adjust the speed. (My partner chose a slower setting as after a while it can be a bit distracting)
Great value for a mechanical keyboard, my partner says he has seen others very similar for double the price, so would definitely recommend!

    Great Quality and Value

1st of all, I love the sound and how heavy this keyboard is. Really good and solid base. If you want a quiet keyboard look elsewhere. Mechanical keyboards are always noisy and this keyboard got a lovely sound. Red switches look perfect and not cheap and fake like others. This is the 3rd mechanical keyboard I bought in the last 4 years and I have to say that feels the same as top brands (super expensive).

    Pros:

    – Solid keypress
    – Amazing response time (tested with Joltfly) and I’m really impressed
    – You can change the light program and profiles with fn keys (perfect if you don’t want to download external software).
    – Thick USB cable
    – Heavy gaming keyboard (make it fully stable and feels really good).
    – Amazing sound
    – Pretty keyboard and lots of light effects using the software
    – Plug and Play

    Cons:

    – I had to do some research in order to find the software for the keyboard (only for the effects, you don’t need to download anything for the drivers). A direct link or QR code with the instructions would be useful.

The perfect keyboard for the price, I love it.
    100% Recommended.
