Really high end quality board. The board is not 12 inches it’s more like an 9 1/3 but that’s still good for me. Works well charges fas

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our Usersoriginally this review was covering the defective remote I got, but I’m editing it because it was so easy to replace and I really want to cover how effective the board is without the defects. the ER meepo board exceeds my expectations aside from the issues I was experiencing! I would highly advise you be very careful if this is your first eboard. the board itself is extremely zippy in pro mode so its of course my favorite, and it was a fun surprise to learn that it indeed went the opposite direction with the double press of a button, so be aware that it can do that. between danger and fun id say this is too much fun and easy to forget that you might disconnect right before you need to break, so never put yourself in a position where you will run into something if you can’t break fast enough like a wall, bridge, busy street, etc. its easy to lookout for obstructive gravel on the ground, the board FLIES over it though, aswell as sticks and stuff. its easy to loose your balance if you are not experienced, so please hold your friends and family that want to try it. I think meepo is still kinda new to people as a product, people do not expect me to be flying up the hill at or over 25 mph. you should REALLY watch for people turning left who might not expect you to be hovering by them with great speed like that! this board is really awesome, and if your remote/board disconnects a lot after you receive it PLEASE contact them as its not normal and could happen at the worst time. and yes, it goes over 28 mph, its not hard to get to but be careful of the wobble and anything in your path you don’t wanna hit a big rock or something

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersMy freshman year of college I had a boosted board. I would ride it to class everyday. It made life exponentially easier. I rode it until I burnt the battery out, by the time I did that, boosted co had dissolved and their parts were being sold online at an extreme markup. I waited for a long time to see which big players stuck around in the e-skateboard market. One name that stuck out to me was Meepo. Three years later I pulled the trigger again and bought this board and it is sweet! The acceleration is incredibly smooth I switched the ride mode to level 4 on the first ride and I was back to cruising. One concern I have is that my campus is a little dusty because I’m in the desert and I have felt the wheels slide a few times but I need to do more testing with this. The deck is extremely grippy and the controller has this haptic feedback which feels very deluxe. Overall for half the price of a boosted board this product blows boosted out of the water.

This thing is super fun and well built. I just turned 40, skated and snowboarded my whole life. This board is a blast! Very impressed with the build quality and the fit and finish. If you’re on the fence and need some excitement in your life, buy it. Your neighbors will look at toy funny but who cares

+ The most informative remote controller ever. The detailed and well lit display shows mileage, speed, direction
+ Controls are standard: power, brake, direction change, max speed
+ Brake is powerful and keeps board still for boarding
+ Top speed is very fast
+ Small size is easy to carry but adds challenges
+ Board has quick battery level 2 digit percentage preview
+ Simple 1 sheet manual that covers essential information
+ Relatively powerful 42v 3A 140w charger adds 10 miles of range per hour of charging
+ Skateboard charge port is rubber door sealed. Includes usb port to double as power bank. If the fancy remote runs out of battery mid trip, you can take a brake and recharge the remote with the skateboard
    – The remote charges by Micro USB. The included micro usb cable was defective and could not charge the remote controller, my own micro usb cable worked
    – The remote micro usb charge door is completely exposed, you really dont want to drop it in a puddle. Devices like these are not supposed to be operated in wet environments such as rain.

If you know how to skate then this board is beginner friendly but if you don’t well its gonna be a struggle. Has 4 speed modes. While trying to practice I deicide to sit on the board and even on the 2nd speed mode I was zooming.
Works like a regular skateboard even if the skate is turned off or out of charge.
Don’t forget to wear a helmet.

First thing you need to do is adjust or tighten your truck bolts to avoid wobbly performance right out the gate. Other than that you’re good to go and I’m assuming you’re aware of the safety precautions you need to consider just like with riding a normal skateboard. Wear your pads and helmet.

The torque on this thing is insane. The amount of lift off you get from stopped was surprising to me, so for your first time, brace yourself forward a little to prepare for that initial thrust. The initial experience was a bit jerky because the incremental adjustments you can make to the speed via the remote is really sensitive. This is also true of the reverse — take your time to slow down or at least prepare for the suddenness of the brake.

It’s been a few weeks of riding this and the back end is starting to get roughened up. I bought a deck guard for it on amazon. Search for “deck guard” or “edge protector” to prolong the life of your board.

I’m 175lbs and the meepo managed to hit ~22mph top. A bit short of the rated top speed but of your mileage may vary depending on your body weight.

    Highly recommended!

    Surprising performance
