If starting out metal detecting its a good cheap pointer. It’s not waterproof though. After a few weeks and if your liking metal detecting then buy a better quality one.
Brought this for my sons 8th birthday and it ended up being his favourite present! In the first day he learnt where all the electrical cables are in the walls and found many pennies in the garden.
