Mini PC Windows 11 Pro, Bkouen Intel Core i7-10810U(6 Cores

 

Having had a large tower pc this small compact pc is so quick and easy to use. Love it.

 

Der Mini-Pc von Bkouen ist nicht mein erster dieser Marke. Ich benutze schon seit lngerem in meiner Ferienwohnung einen schwcheren Mini-Pc, der hinter dem Monitor befestigt ist. Dieser hier ist viel leistungsstrker und hat sogar Platz fr eine 2,5 Zoll Festplatte.
Hier bleiben keine Wnsche offen. Fr Gamer ist er weniger geeignet.

 

Got this for W11 upgrade and triple output, which is great, stunning quality on my 4k TV and my 2 monitors.

BUT the build no. is just short of that needed to run Android apps which was one of the main reasons I upgraded so I could use the PC to monitor cameras and other things I can only use on my phone,
The build is 22000, To run Android it needs better than 22000.526

UPDATE
The company has been very quick to listen to my concerns and made a great effort to help. Came to a solution that seems to work in part at least, and an agreement that suits me. Top marks for that.

 

his is a super mini pc with pre-installed windows 11 pro os, intel celeron n5105 jasper lake cpu, 8gb ram and 256gb ssd, built in 2 x 4k hdmi display ports, dual band wifi and 4 usb ports, it’s extremely lightweight and small, i ordered it for media centre use

it got a beautiful metallic casing, mounting is included for hiding it behind monitor or tv, it’s ready to use immediately as windows 11 pro is pre-installed

really appreciated that there are 2 hdmi ports with it, so i can use 2 monitors when needed, for connecting mouse and keyboard i can use bluetooth or usb dongle for connection, a bit disappointed that there is no usb-c port with it (it got only 2 usb 3.0 and 2 usb 2.0 ports)

tested it with passmark benchmark software, it got an overall rating of 1670, cpu 3493, rating is on the low-mid range, not a super performance configuration, but it’s more designed for media centre and general purpose use, so the rating is just a reference only

i played 4k video with it from wifi connection, video and sound were high quality and smooth, never got any interruption or lag, so this configuration is definitely more than enough for 4k video streaming, also i believe that it’s good for general home use (e.g web surfing, microsoft office applications)

couldn’t find the way to open the casing to check the content (e.g ssd and ram) so i’m not sure if it’s easy upgradable when needed

all in all, i’m very satisfied with this product, would highly recommend

Mein alter PC hat sich vor kurzem nach vielen Jahren leider verabschiedet und ich musste mich ohnehin auf die Suche nach einem neuen machen und da kam dieser Mini PC wirklich sehr gelegen

Vor allen Dingen gefllt mir dass er so platzsparend ist mein alter war auch so ein Rucksack PC oder keine Ahnung wie man die auch nennt hinten dran war eben ein Griff wo ein kleiner Rechner dran ist und dann vorne noch ein moderater Bildschirm eben

Habe den jedenfalls immer rechts neben meinem Fernseher und dann ber VGA und HDMI Adapter an meinen Fernseher angeschlossen

Funktioniert mit diesem Mini PC ebenfalls einwandfrei und Windows 11 ist hier bereits mit dabei was wirklich spitze ist

Ich bin kein heftiger Gamer oder sonst was Spiele nur mein hei geliebtes Herr der Ringe die Schlacht um Mittelerde und dieses Spiel funktioniert einwandfrei mit dem Mini-PC habe allerdings auch ein externes CD-Laufwerk

Primr brauche ich den PC fr die Arbeit und fr generelle Dinge die man eben erledigen muss und dafr funktioniert er echt mehr als gut

Technische Details stimmen exakt berein mit dem gelieferten Produkt und der PC selber ist auch genau wie abgebildet von daher keine Irrefhrung oder sonst was und man kann alle Details der Beschreibung entnehmen

Ich bin gnzlich zufrieden und habe ihn nun seit ber einem Monat praktisch tglich im Gebrauch also meist abends fr zwei bis drei Stunden und der funktioniert noch immer einwandfrei und es gab auch keinerlei Probleme noch konnte ich etwas finden dass ich kritisieren oder bemngeln knnte

Daher gibt’s von mir fnf Sterne und ich kann auch eine Empfehlung ausspreche

 

One of the biggest changes brought about by the improvements in mobile computing power has been the knock-on effects in the possible form factors for desk based systems.

For a while I’d been considering whether to get a cheap laptop or something for my eldest to use so that we don’t have to let her loose on my desktop or my wife’s laptop. So when this Mini PC came up for review I was intrigued.

Open the box and there’s no denying it lives up to the mini description, this thing is truly tiny, about 13cm wide by about 14cm deep and about 5cm high. It’s reasonably lightweight too and comes with a bracket to fix it to the VESA mount on the rear of your monitor. Despite its diminutive size it’s not lacking for connections though, with a 3.5mm audio jack (remember them?) on the front alongside two USB-A 3.0 sockets and a USB-C.

The rear sees another pair of USB-A 3.0 sockets, a pair of HDMI ports, an Ethernet port on the power socket, along with what appears to be a Kensington lock socket for securing the unit to a desk or wall. The final connection is a VGA socket found on the left side of the unit.

Internally you’ll find 16GB of RAM and a 512GB M.2 SSD (there is also supposed to be space inside to add an additional M.2 or 2.5″ SATA SSD), while the unit supports WiFi 6 and BlueTooth 5.2. The beating heart of the unit is an Intel Core i7-10810U laptop grade processor, boasting 6 cores and 12 threads (thanks to hyperthreading).

What you won’t find, which shouldn’t be surprising given the size of the unit, are discrete graphics, so you’re reliant on the grunt, or lack thereof, of Intel’s integrated UHD graphics chipset.

The PC comes with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed, which was my first taste of Windows 11, having not taken the upgrade plunge with my self-built desktop PC yet. Aside from the questionable decision to align your Taskbar icons in the centre of the screen rather than left-aligned as they have been since Windows 95, if memory serves me correctly, aesthetically Windows 11 seems to be an improvement on Windows 10.

With the PC finally set-up (one thing Windows still appears to be poor at in this latest release is getting all the updates down and applied in one swoop) it was time to do some testing. For general web-browsing use, or using Google’s MS Office product clone apps the PC feels snappy enough in use. However, it’s when you start asking it to do the things you might expect a more standard desktop machine with a 6 core/12 thread CPU to do that it comes a bit unstuck.

I installed the latest version of the Davinci Resolve free edition and tried rendering the most recent episode of my wife’s YouTube channel. The Mini PC completed this task in a time of 44 minutes and 21 seconds, with Resolve appearing to shift processing duties over to the built-in processing of the UHD graphics. For comparison, my desktop computer, a Ryzen 5 3600x (a process that also has 6 cores and 12 threads) with 32GB of RAM, completed the same render in 8 minutes and 49 seconds (and, in this admittedly not hugely scientific test, I managed to knock 16 seconds off that time by moving all the assets onto the M.2 user disc rather than having them on my bulk storage hard disk drives).

I’m not that much of a gamer these days so I decided to stick to what I know and installed World of Tanks, which my daughter and I play occasionally. While I was able to get pretty playable frame rates, this was at the cost of graphical fidelity, having to reduce the resolution to 720p with low settings. This is a game that looks quite pretty on a reasonably decent graphics setup but on this PC it looked rather basic. The PC should handle older games reasonably well, or any cloud based gaming where most of the processing is done online.

The small size of the unit does mean that it switches between being quieter than a church mouse and moderately noticeable. When you’re not doing anything the processor happily trips along at 1.1Ghz. However, this soon ratchets up when you need to start doing anything with it, which starts raising the question of keeping the CPU cool. Looking at the unit you’ll notice that the lower portion of the rear and sides is taken up with cooling vents and when the processor starts working hard, and being capable of boosting up to 4.9GHz it can do, the unit starts getting audible. That’s not to say it’s loud per se, it’s probably no louder than my desktop, which is equipped with Noctua fans, is at idle, but it’s not going to be whisper quiet all the time. However, in an office I doubt you’d even realise it was on.

One big issue I still hadn’t got to the bottom of at the time of submitting this review was the ethernet port. It’s identified as a gigabit capable part but I’ve only been able to get it running at 100Mb. This is probably a driver issue that can be resolved in time but it is annoying as I prefer to use wired connections whenever I can and transferring files from my NAS positively crawled at 100Mb.

As for the other connections, while I appreciate the 3.5mm audio jack on the front for anyone still using wired headphones, I’d have liked to see one on the rear as well, or possibly instead, for connecting to speakers. Also, the placement of the VGA socket on the left side is a bit awkward. These placement decisions are more than likely due to the size of the box the components have been crammed into but I could probably live without the VGA socket and wonder if perhaps it would have been possible to replace the two HDMI ports with three mini-DisplayPort sockets instead, or a HDMI and two mini-DisplayPorts if the three monitor output is considered to be an essential selling point.

Lastly, while it’s less of an issue considering this is a computer that, while portable due to its size and weight, is probably going to spend most of its time in one place, I’d have liked to see a USB-C port for powering the unit rather than a circular power plug.

Overall then, I think it’s fair to say you need to be very sure about what you want to use this for before you buy it. For most Office suite tasks, watching videos and web browsing I doubt you’d really notice you were using this over most other computers out there. It’s when you start looking at more intensive tasks where you have to make the decision about whether you’d be better off going for something capable of more speed or if you don’t mind waiting for this PC to finish the job.

You would, I think, need to be sure that the form factor and connectivity of this PC is worth the cost, as you’re definitely paying for the effort that has gone into making this a highly compact unit. If you don’t need something with this form factor I’d strongly suggest looking at a regular desktop, which at this price will likely be more powerful, or an actual laptop.

For my daughter’s computing needs this will be fine, and being able to use the VESA mount means I can keep the installation reasonably tidy by hiding the PC behind the monitor.

Nota bene: Serve una connessione di Rete (Wi-Fi o di linea) per la prima configurazione e per scaricare la lingua italiana e gli aggiornamenti di sistema e driver.

Contro:
– USB poco performanti, supporto alla generazione 3.1 Gen.1 (vecchia denominazione USB 3.0);
– Costo un po’ troppo elevato rispetto all’hardware integrato.

E’ quasi 1 mese che utilizzo questo MiniPC di questo brand “generico” cinese, giudizio stringato.. molto buono per un uso “casalingo”, estremamente silenzioso, buona espandibilit e discrete performance generali per un processore ULV (Ultra Low Voltage) dedicato a sistemi portatili sottili e leggeri. Non adatto ai gamer evoluti, la GPU integrata (la solita “vecchia” Intel 620 del 2016 che stato solo “rebrandizzata” nel nome) non efficiente in questo scenario di utilizzo, regge giusto i “giochini” a media risoluzione e senza effetti grafici complessi.
Ho trovato molto buona la possibilit di per espandere la memoria di massa, abbiamo ben 2 slot liberi disponibili, uno per un classico HDD/SDD da 2,5″ (io ho testato un SSD da 4TB) e uno addirittura di tipo M.2 che pu ospitare SSD 2280 sia con Bus ultraveloce NVME (io ho testato un NVME da 2TB) che con il “vecchio” Bus NGFF SATA III.
Stessa cosa riguardo la memoria volatile.. ci sono 2 slot con 2 banchi di SDRAM SoDIMM DDR4 che al momento vedono 2 banchi da 8TB di marca “generica” cinese in Dual Channel.. ma che potremo upgradare fino a 64TB (2x 32GB), io consiglio almeno di avere 32GB (2x16GB) di buona marca installati.
Ottimo l’utilizzo delle ultime generazioni di hardware in fatto Wi-Fi e Bluetooth, ci torneranno utili magari nel prossimo futuro, sia il BT 5.2 ma soprattutto il W-Fi 6 (chip Realtek 8852BE), poich per poterli sfruttare bisogner avere tutta la catena “radio” compatibile, e al momento non molto diffuso ne il BT 5.2 ne l’utilizzo di Router “AX”.
La componentistica che proprio non mi ha fatto contento la connettivit cablata USB, non dico tutte e 4, ma almeno due di queste potevano essere compatibili con lo standard 3.2 Gen1 (10Gbps).. non mi aspettavo sicuramente delle Gen.2 (20Gbps) ma sono tutte 3.1 Gen.1 alias 3.0 (5Gbps).

Questo Mini PC giunge in uno scatolino cubico molto discreto, con le indicazioni basiche, il marchio e le specifiche generali.
All’interno troviamo il Mini PC, un buon alimentatore con spina Shuko da 65 Watt, una piccola staffa VESA compatibile (per il montaggio dietro il Monitor/TV o a muro o superfice qualsivoglia) , 1 cavo HDMI e un libretto di istruzioni multilingue, italiano compreso, fatto bene e abbastanza esaustivo.
Il case tutto in plastica ma di buona qualit cos come la costruzione ottima in generale, e soprattutto curate solo le finiture.. esteticamente molto gradevole.
Il box si pu aprire facilmente, basta un piccolo cacciavite Phillips (a stella), subito si accede allo slot per un HDD/SSD da 2,5″ opzionale.. altre 3 viti e smontato questo abbiamo accesso direttamente alla Motherboard, qui abbiamo il modulo Wi-Fi, 2 slot per la memoria RAM, il dissipatore in alluminio del processore (che saldato) e infine 1 slot per SSD con attacco M.2.
Lo spazio ridotto ma si riesce ad operare abbastanza facilmente.
Non ho estratto la motherboard dal Case ma probabile che nella zona sottostante via sia lo slot per lo SSD M.2 (modello “generico” cinese CYX-SSD-S1000), credo ti tipo 2242, preinstallato con il Sistema Operativo che dovrebbe essere sostituibile.
A riguardo di questa memoria di massa integrata posso dire che sono davvero ottime le performance (vedi foto benchmark), niente da invidiare ad un normale SSD desktop di fascia media.

Il processore raffreddato da un sistema basico (ma efficiente) con un blocco di alluminio alettato e una piccolissima ventolina che entra raramente in funzione (solo quando in full load) e quando lo fa direi la silenziosit del sistema davvero ottima, per lo pi del tempo in normale utilizzo questo Mini PC inudibile.
Anche dopo ore di utilizzo il Case di plastica rimane sostanzialmente tiepido, segno che la progettazione della dissipazione del calore stata ben realizzata.

In fatto di connettivit cablata, oltre alle USB sopra citate abbiamo tutto ci che ci serve.. 1x Rete RJ45 1000Mbps, 2x video HDMI 2.0 + 1x video VGA, 1x alimentatore e 1x microfono/cuffie/uscita audio per casse esterne.. ovviamente vi il classico pulsantino ON/OFF con un LED integrato che per resta sempre acceso fisso.. non abbiamo un LED di stato del lavoro dello SSD.

Tempi di avvio dopo la prima configurazione circa 15 secondi.
Prima configurazione con interfaccia in inglese, ma seguendo la procedura guidata e impostando come paese d’utilizzo l’Italia e la tastiera italiana, alla fine del processo tutto sar visualizzato in italiano.
La versione di S.O l’ultimo Windows 11 PRO, classica interfaccia e i i programmi installati di default dalla Microsoft.

Utilizzo:
Considerando il prezzo di vendita e l’hardware che abbiamo a disposizione direi davvero niente male.. per un uso quale navigazione, studio, social network, Youtube, streaming audio/video ecc.. abbiamo potenza in esubero.
Il sistema risponde sempre bene ed sempre reattivo, anche con molti task aperti.. non ho mai riscontrato alcun blocco, rallentamento o altro.
Il Box collegato via HDMI al mio Monitor UHD con ovviamente questo tipo di risoluzione 4K in uscita, con VLC ho visto film in 4K UHD ad alto bitrate senza alcun problema, il supporto hardware della GPU ai maggiori Codec video eccellente, anche con il pi recente HEVC.

In conclusione.. 699,99 Euro richiesti sono un filino troppi a mio parere, 599,99 Euro sarebbe un prezzo pi in linea rispetto a quanto riceviamo.. in pratica abbiamo lo stesso prezzo, hardware e performance di un portatile ultraleggero “basico”.. ma senza il Display !!

Giusto un’ultima considerazione finale.. in descrizione dell’annuncio si citano alcuni dati inesatti.
Prima di tutto il processori Intel installato non di 10 Generazione ma fa parte di quella denominata 9.5 Generazione.
Inoltre e pi importante questo processore Intel i7 (non un vero i7 ma solo stato cos brandizzato) non il 30% pi performante rispetto agli AMD Ryzen7-3750H e AMD Ryzen 5 5600H.
Il Ryzen 7 3750H che oltretutto pi “vecchio” (e di Generazione precedente) circa il 18% pi performante rispetto a questo i7, non il 30% in meno (!!) ed superiore soprattutto riguardo la GPU integrata (grafica/video/game)
Il Ryzen 5 5600H assolutamente superiore in tutti i campi d’utilizzo (!!).

I needed a new PC for my home office and wanted a small form factor PC to save space. This mini PC is absolutely perfect for my needs.
Its small size means I can easily hide it behind my monitors or even attach it to a monitor.
One of the deciding factors in me buying this was the fact that I could upgrade it if I ever need to. I can upgrade the SSD, RAM and even include a 2nd HDD.
The PC is very easy to set up and get started. It took me only a few minutes to get booted up and fully set up. I have it set up connected to 2 monitors via the HDMI outputs and this is a perfect set up for me. It’s very fast and has no issues at all running my office programs and also a cheeky game of ROBLOX every now and then thanks to the built in windows HD graphics which run very smoothly.
This mini PC is also perfect for use as a media centre and streaming apps like Amazon Video and Netflix work perfectly. This mini PC has a built in fan which kicks in at the right time to cool the processor and you can barely hear it at all.
You get 4 USB 3.0 ports, two at the front and two at the rear plus a USB C port on the front along with a 3.5 AUX port.
The 10th series Intel i7 processor coupled with the 16GB DDR4 RAM make this mini pc the perfect modern multi use PC and I am absolutely over the moon with it and for the following reasons I have decided to rate it 5 stars:
Easy to set up
Very fast and quiet
Easy to upgrade RAM and storage
Small
Can be attached to rear of monitor
Good connection options

 

I was not expecting much from these chines mini-PC, but I have to say it works well. It has a lot of pros and cons but it’s fully functional and most importantly perfect for the project I needed. Currently Building my own PhotoBox/Photo boot to start my own business and needed small sized computer to fit in the housing but with high performance to be able to run the latest windows and the photo software.
Don’t expect something very fancy, the housing looks very simple and remands me those Android TV boxes which was very popular a couple of years ago. It comes with all the port you would need, 4 USB port, a USB C, 2 HDMY port, a WGA for the older monitors and audio jack. It’s pretty basic but you don’t need more for everyday use. The PC is driven by an Intel i7-10810U, it’s a mobile processor with 6 cores, launched in April 2020. Core i7-10810U has 12MB of L3 cache and operates at 1100 MHz by default, but can boost up to 4.9 GHz, depending on the workload. Comes with 16GB DDR4 Ram and 512GB M.2 SSD storage which is not much but it can be extended up to 2TB SSD. It comes Preinstalled Microsoft Windows 11 Pro. The Pc performs well for everyday use such like browsing internet, using Office, watching movie etc but thanks to the i7 processor it copes well with image and video editing software too, It’s very quiet thanks to no fan installed.
Overall, I think this is a great budget PC.

 

Questo mini computer a marchio Bkouen si caratterizza a prima vista per le sue dimensioni estremamente compatte, pur essendo un vero e proprio personal computer.
Di forma cubica, misura circa 13 x 13 x 5 cm e occupa quindi uno spazio decisamente minimo sopra un tavolo o una scrivania da lavoro.
Dal punto di vista tecnico, si tratta di un pc abbastanza potente. Alimentato da un processore Intel i7-10810U di 10a generazione, Max Turbo Frequency 4.90Mhz, 6 core 12 thread con 12M di cache, non ha niente da invidiare ad alcuni modelli ben pi grandi.
Anche la memoria adeguata, con RAM DDR4 a doppio canale da 16 GB (fino a 64 GB) e SSD M.2 SATA da 512 GB. Con lo slot M.2 NVME SSD/SATA SSD/2,5″ SATA HDD.
Supporta ben tre schermi (2 ingressi HDMI, 1 ingresso VGA) e presenta 3 prese usb di tipo A ed una di tipo C, oltre al jack audio e la presa di rete LAN.
Il mini pc ha connettivit wireless e bluetooth di ultima generazione integrata e il sistema operativo Windows 11 preinstallato.
Nonostante le dimensioni la ventola silenziosa e svolge egregiamente il suo lavoro.

 

Il Mini PC in esame di brand Bkouen, arriva custodito all’interno di una compatta scatola che include:

– Mini PC equipaggiato di processore I7-10810U, dalle dimensioni di cm. 13 x 12,5 x 5,5;
– Cavo alimentazione con alimentatore annesso, che termina con presa Schuko;
– Cavo HDMI;
– Piccola staffa da parete VESA;
– Piccoli accessori quali viti e adesivi;
– Manuale istruzioni multilingua, che comprende l’italiano.

La compatta scocca in plastica di questa macchina, appare levigata e molto piacevole esteticamente parlando, con le griglie di areazione poste sul profilo basso.

Dopo averlo spremuto a fondo in queste giornate di test, queste le mie considerazioni sul dispositivo:

HARDWARE: IL MIO PARERE
Il mini PC in esame equipaggiato di Windows 11 PRO, sistema operativo assolutamente moderno, quasi indispensabile per un PC con velleit di media/alta fascia (sempre in rapporto al tipo di apparecchio in esame).

– Il CORE del mini PC in esame un I7-10810U, processore INTEL di 10a generazione (6 Core e 12 Thread), che offre un boost massimo fino a 4,9 Ghz e un ottima cache interna di 12 Mb.
Pur non essendo una CPU di ultimissima GEN, chiaro che parliamo di un processore indubbiamente di elevato livello, in grado di far funzionare gli applicativi pi recenti con ottime performance.

– La RAM di 16 GB – 2666Mhz, memoria che io ritengo corretta per un apparecchio che al giorno d’oggi vuol offrire prestazioni di livello. Ok alcuni prodotti concorrenti con 8GB riescono comunque a cavarsela sufficientemente bene in ambiente windows, ma al momento i 16 GB rappresentano il MUST HAVE.
Da non sottovalutare il fatto che la memoria pu in futuro essere sostituita con moduli DDR4 da 2133/2400/2666Mhz, magari per effettuare un upgrade al dispositivo ed arrivare fino ad un massimo di 64GB complessivi.

– SSD di tipo M.2 da 512 GB uno spazio a disposizione sufficiente, tenendo conto che sar poi possibile espandere lo spazio di archiviazione successivamente con un ulteriore unit (fino a 8TB) che andr installata andando ad aprire il vano posto sul piano inferiore .

– Lato VGA abbiamo un integrata Intel UHD con supporto al 4k, scheda video che non fa sicuramente miracoli (niente giochi di ultima generazione per intenderci), ma consentir un esperienza comunque pi che discreta nell’uso quotidiano (windows, office, produttivit, etc.).

PORTE E CONNETTIVITA’
Sul bordo della scocca del mini PC, troviamo i seguenti pulsanti e le seguenti porte, in ordine visivo (precedendo da sx verso dx):

– Pulsante accensione/spegnimento;
– Foro cancella CMOS (reset della macchina);
– Nr. 1 ingresso audio;
– Nr. 2 USB 3.0;
– Nr. 1 USB Type C;
– Nr. 1 porta VGA;
– Connettore alimentazione da 19V;
– Nr. 1 porta LAN per collegamento di rete (ethernet);
– Nr. 2 porte HDMI;
– Nr. 2 Usb 3.0.

…Connettivit sicuramente completa e diversificata, che per non comprende una moderna connessione video Display Port. In questo caso il produttore ha difatti preferito installare un obsoleto ingresso VGA, probabilmente per offrire retro-compatibilit con i monitor meno recenti e diversificarsi dai prodotti concorrenti presenti sul mercato.
Presenti in ogni caso 2 porte HDMI, particolarmente comode nel caso la necessit sia quella di gestire contemporaneamente 2 monitor.

Da segnalare anche la presenza di connettivit wireless completa (funziona benissimo) e di buon livello: grazie ai moderni protocolli WiFi 6 e Bluetooth 5.2, potrete connettere i vostri dispositivi/periferiche senza cavi in assoluta semplicit.

ESPERIENZA D’USO
Breve e doverosa premessa: Per il test ho accoppiato Il miniPC al mio monitor 4k (60hz) di casa Samsung, di modo da poter raccontarvi un esperienza d’uso in UHD.

“Il buongiorno si vede dal mattino”, recitava un vecchio e famosissimo proverbio.. ed in effetti come da aspettative il PC ha eseguito l’installazione di WINDOWS in tempi rapidissimi, dando da subito la sensazione di un terminale performante e reattivo.

Una volta configurata la macchina, ho iniziato con il download di alcuni software di test che solitamente utilizzo, notando da subito un ottima velocit di caricamento, e soprattutto nello scompattare ed installare gli applicativi di mio interesse.
La conferma che questo I7 un signor processore, l’ho poi avuta anche successivamente andando ad editare video e a scompattare file di grandi dimensioni. Per suggellare le mie sensazioni ho deciso di dare un occhiata ai punteggi che questa CPU riesce ad ottenere nei pi prestigiosi benchmark, scoprendo con enorme soddisfazione che ad esempio sul test “PassMark” riesce ad ottenere quasi 8000 punti, un risultato paragonabile a PC desktop discreti di qualche anno fa.

Constata le ottime performance generali in ambiente windows (davvero nessun tentennamento), ho provato anche a stressare il miniPC con un Cinebench (gli appassionati sanno di cosa parlo), ottenendo un punteggio di ben 3505 pt., laddove prodotti similari concorrenti “entry-level” riescono ad ottenere 300/400 pt. al massimo!!!

Durante le attivit pi energivore le temperature raggiungono 84/85 gradi sulla CPU (dati rilevati con Hwinfo) , ma grazie alla potente ventola di cui equipaggiato questo modello, riuscirete a ritornare su temp sotto controllo (35-40 circa) gi dopo pochi secondi che la macchina a riposo.
Ovviamente sotto stress la ventola ben percepibile seppur non emetta un rumore troppo evidente in termini di Db, mentre poi in IDLE il modello in esame di casa Bkouen appare decisamente silenzioso e quindi adatto a rimanere acceso anche per lunghi periodi o di notte.

Chiudo facendo notare che forse le uniche piccole difficolt riscontrare riguardano i videogiochi di ultima generazione, visto che con la scheda integrata Intel UHD non riuscirete a divertirvi con i titoli di ultimissima generazione (ma nemmeno a lanciarli nella maggior parte delle volte).

CONCLUSIONI
Da appassionato informatico mi capitato di testare diversi PC e MiniPC di recente, e posso assicurarvi che questo uno dei prodotti pi interessanti che fin’ora mi sia capitato sotto mano per il test.
Considerate che al momento in cui scrivo questa review (05/10/22) il prodotto costa 699, che diventano 579 andando ad applicare il coupon al momento dell’acquisto.

E’ vero che il mercato dei mini PC offre soluzioni economiche (a partire da 250/400 euro), ma a livello di performance queste macchine non sono nemmeno lontanamente paragonabili al prodotto oggetto di questa review, che in effetti risultato pi che buono sotto tutti i punti di vista (ok a parte il gaming) ed uscito a testa altissima da tutti i test da me effettuati.
Se aggiungiamo che espandibile e migliorabile in futuro, direi che il classico prodotto che consiglierei a chi necessita di un computer scattante, che lavora senza blocchi e che finalmente non fa venire il latte alle ginocchia nell’uso quotidiano, come altri “compatti” di questa tipologia.

Al momento non ho particolari nei/difetti da segnalare (se non volendo la mancanza di DisplayPort e/o di un lettore per schede SD), per cui non posso che chiudere questa review con entusiasmo rispetto al prodotto testato, ed assegnare di conseguenza 5 meritatissime stelle!

 

This is a solid little mini PC, it is not going to be a graphical powerhouse with internal graphics but it does have a decent amount of grunt to do every day tasks with ease.
It comes with pretty much everything you need, a power adaptor, HDMI cable, VESA mount and instruction manual. It is nice and securely packaged and protected in the box. It is just the base unit so you have to supply your own mouse, keyboard and monitor.

On powering up the unit presented me with a branded splash screen and then went straight into the Windows 11 Pro set up, simple and easy. Once in Windows the pc seems to be fine multitasking and has not yet had any stutters or problems. I do like the care and attention Bkouen have taken to brand the PC boot up, I had never heard of the brand before but this is a nice touch, Since it has an i7 processor and 16gb ram you should be good for most daily tasks. On testing I got the following benchmark scores

The pc is quite small and can be mounted on the back of a monitor with the supplied VESA mount, although I won’t take up much room really wherever you want to put it. On the unit itself is 4 USB ports, one USB-C port, 2 HDMI ports, 1 VGA port and an ethernet port. The power button lights up when you press it and the PC is on. I think it is important that it has an ethernet port as so often they are missed.
I have tried both WIFI and Bluetooth and both seem to work without issue, I have tried multiple keyboard and mice and all connect via Bluetooth. WIFI speeds seem fine too, no issues there.

The SSD seems pretty good, not quickest I have used but it does not cause any issues and boot up time seems fairly snappy. Unless you are used to a very expensive and quick SSD then this will definitely be quick enough.

I would say it is fairly quiet in operation, I can hear the fan spinning but it is a low hum rather than anything distracting, the fan seems to do a decent job of keeping things cool as well. It does ramp up under strain as it should but nothing too distracting.

On performance, as mentioned it is fine for daily tasks and will run some less demanding games but you won’t be playing the latest games at high resolutions due to the lack of an external graphics card but then again I don’t think that is what this mini PC is about. It is a small workhorse to take up minimal space and act as a daily computer and sometimes when space is at a premium the ability to mount this on a monitor is a very appealing prospect.

I would say that the cost is a little high, it is 699 with a 120 voucher off as of October 2022. I would say without the voucher it is on the expensive side but with comes down to something slightly more reasonable, though if an i5 would do for you then you can pick up something cheaper.

If you are looking for a small PC that does the basics well and comes with Windows 11 Pro installed then this is a good choice. It has enough RAM for most tasks and a very capable processor but it does lack graphical grunt and it is not the cheapest PC out there. I do like it though a lot and it is ideal for those who need a mini PC either below their TV or on a small desk that do not have a lot of space.

 

This style of case feels really nice in the hand, looks superb and protects the iPad very well. After extensive use over a long period, the case is still going strong and showing no major signs of wear. Recommended.

I bought this as a replacement power supply for my WD Live Player. I am happy to say that unlike another product I tried this one worked perfectly straight away and has continued to do so. It seems well-built and robust so I am optimistic that it will last a long time.

 

I bought this as a Christmas present for my 8yo niece. She took to it straight away. It seems to be a fun and robust toy.

 

The deliver was punctual, sent with Amazon Prime. I have put 4 stars because the cable from the charger to the lapton is not very long – around 1,1m; and it would have been useful to have this information in the description of the product. The charger itself is fantastic: the led light allows to ensure that the charger is working, and it feels durable and strong. Being also compact, it’s great for commuters. Would recommend 🙂

 

Charger arrived promptly and well packaged.

The charger itself was much better than the previous one I bought off Ebay. The cable on that one had split shortly after I bought it and gave up soon after. The cable that connects this charger to the laptop is made of much sturdier material, with the actual join between the cable and charger being reinforced with much thicker plastic.

Charging is also much faster as this gives the full 90W. Also, the velcro strap on the cable is super-useful to keep things tidy.

All-in-all, I am very happy with my purchase.

 

It was compatible with the hard drive – unfortunately the fault with my HD is terminal although nothing to do with this power supply!

 

Very good quality at a reasonable price. I bought this for my wife who plays a lot of Sudoku in the evenings and was fed up of balancing the type cover, it works just fine, and she likes the colour.

 

Not the cheapest option for a replacement charger, but I opted for quality and a good guarantee. Great service and fast delivery from Smart Parts. The charger does what it is meant to; and the quality is at least as good as an HP original.
