Really pleased with this as it heats up the lounge in my flat really quickly even on the lowest setting at 20 degrees. My smart meter also says it’s economical as it cycles on and off when the room is up to temperature. Well made, very controllable and looks good too.

Nicely packaged, does what it says on the tin, fair amount of heat out of it but sadly missing the remote which was why I bought it!

Fantastic heater! It looks great in the black gloss finish and is ideal for warming up our bedroom rather than turning on the central heating. I can also move it from one room to another. The wheels are simple to install, and all necessary parts are included, along with detailed instructions. So far, it’s been fantastic and inexpensive to run. It keeps my room warm and is far better compared to the electric fan heater I was previously using, which was both noisy and expensive to operate. The heater can be controlled from the front panel and also comes with a remote, making it much more convenient. The built in thermostat means I can keep my room at a desired temperature and I can set the timer so it automatically shuts off, which is especially useful at night. Overall, a fantastic heater with all of the features and output I require.

This oil filled radiator is nice looking and comes with a remote control. It heats up quickly and it keeps smallish rooms warm with a few hours use. I didn’t have any problems with the item, and it was easy to set up- just screw the wheels into the bottom. It states that it is energy efficient which I’m not sure I would quite agree with, as it costs us a fair bit to use it. Less than fan heaters, but the heat isn’t as instant with this as a fan.

This is a great radiator to keep warm in the colder months. It’s very easy to set up
And use. It looks great, I love the black. It’s got a timer function which is really handy. Warms up the room really well if not wanting to put the heating on. Good price.

I’ve never used an oil filled radiator, but was interested to see if it was any more energy efficient than other forms of heating. The radiator is quite big and bulky. It does come with wheels, but they have to be put on by yourself. It also comes with instructions, which aren’t very useful to be honest. The radiator seems good quality with no marks or blemishes. It has a remote control which can be used to turn on/off, set the temperature or timer. It heats up quickly and does give good heat output. Despite the lack of good instructions, it’s pretty self explantory and easy to use. I used my smart meter display to see how much it would cost me. My tariff is quite low (at the moment!) so bear in mind that my totals are less than the SVT. Running on an average temperature, it was showing about 45p an hour, but this will obviously adjust as the thermostat on the radiator goes on an off when it reaches it’s set temperature. It does only heat the area it’s in though so I’m not sure how cost effective it is. It is good though for giving that quick burst of heat quickly when needed.

This is easy to put together. It arrived in good condition. Heat output is pretty good and will take the chill off a medium size room. I haven’t used the timer. Remote control is a nice addition but you do need line of sight. Seems good value compar d to similar sized OFR

This is really good oil filled radiator. It does require some basic assembly as the wheels need attaching to the bottom of the radiator but once done, you are ready to go.

Controls are logically laid out on one side and the push buttons on the actual radiator all feature a positive “click” response and a tonal beep to confirm activation. There are 3 power output modes, a temperature range from 15 to 35 Celsius and a timer function. The little remote control has a button battery cell already included and follows the same logical layout.

It heats up well and also retains heat for a good time after switching off. There is an anti-tilt safety function as well, just in case it ever gets knocked over but under normal use it is perfectly stable on the wheels though.

Improvements… well I can only think of two. A secondary handle maybe to help with maneuverability would be a nice to have but I think an essential improvement would be some form of magnet on the remote and on the cool parts of the radiator. That way when you want to store the control, you can magnetically attach it to the safe (non-hot) part of the radiator and you won’t end up mislaying it.

Otherwise, if you are after an oil filled radiator with a good number of fins to help with heat dispersion, and want the comfort of not having to get out your seat to adjust, then this is worth checking out.

So I was concerned when I ordered this radiator as the only 3 reviews for it were from people who had had faulty radiators. However I really wanted to give it a go as we couldn’t afford to put our AGA on in the kitchen this year due to the oil prices.

I am very happy to report that the radiator I received is perfect. It was quite simple to put together. You can see my photos which show the process. You turn the radiator upside down first on a flat floor and attach the brackets, then you attach the wheels to the brackets. It’s all very simple to do, and then turn it back over and hear the oil swish back through it, plug it in voil!

I have a large family kitchen with cooking area, dining table and sofa area, and with the doors shut in the morning this little radiator can heat the room up nicely in just an hour, which is just what I wanted, because it has meant that I still haven’t had to turn my heating on to heat the whole house yet.

As for energy efficient, I know my meter goes up a bit when I use it, but it’s a lot more efficient than an electric fan heater and it’s also a lot more efficient than me heating the whole house as I live in a large farmhouse style detached house which isn’t very efficient. So for me this is fantastic and I would recommend to anyone this winter.

I haven’t tried the timer as I don’t need that but the remote works well, and is easy to use.

I got a good one! It works perfectly for me and heats my whole kitchen!

We are not yet in the bad cold, so I am not really using that much so far. But the heating time is not long, it became very nice and worm. And to save energy, we can switch it off, but it is still warming out the house.
There is also a nice and comfortable remote control, so you can switch on and off while you are in bed.
The size is not very big, it fits in my case, under a desk.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIf you’ve decided you want an oil-filled radiator, this is a good one, complete with remote control and useful display.

Oil-filled or dry rad? There’s plenty of advice on the internet. It’s far from clear-cut. Oil-filled inevitably means extra weight and slower warm up, but then they give a more steady level of heat and tend to spread it around the room more evenly. Running costs are pretty-much the same — a kW of electricity yields a fairly consistent amount of heat, whatever the heater (don’t be fooled by marketing guff). But the decision between oil-filled and dry isn’t straightforward, so it’s worth doing some research.

We like this rad. For an oil-filled one, it heats up quickly. It looks smart and is easy to use, especially given the remote control. It chucks out plenty of heat, when it gets going, and the wheels make it easy to move, despite the weight of the oil. The 70 price is reasonable too, so you won’t go far wrong if you choose it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI use this in the bedroom which is 4m x 4m and 9ft ceilings, no small space yet with the door closed it can keep this room toasty.

I only use it at night just before I sleep now that winter is drawing in and set to 19c. It can keep the room at a nice level of warmth without being stuffy or dry.

The controls are simple to operate and self explanatory when you see the legends. There is a mains power on switch and then a standby on/off button which can be operated via the remote included.

Does require some assembly but just the castors on the bottom which is dead easy to attach.

Yep – a pretty good electric oil filled radiato

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFirst of all, I wish to declare my box arrived undamaged.
I need to inform people here that the company MONHOUSE is not responsible for delivery damage it would be the courier used, 9 times out of 10 which is Amazon themselves. If you have damage related to a delivery issue, its unfair to place that in the product review section.
The company’s package appears to be quite standard with foam protection for the radiator. Even if the box arrived damage there shouldn’t be any damage to the radiator itself unless it has penetrated the foam.

After opening the box. I found a very well packaged straight forward to build radiator. I am proud to declare that I didn’t even need to use any tools! Everything can be done by hand and without any tools. Tho I personally advise many tightening the wheel nut ever so slightly with the correct spanner / ratchet just for guaranteed secureness.
You can see my photos for how simple the clip, bracket and wheel design is and how easy it is to fit.

After assembly, I plugged it in, found a moderate length power cable, its not exactly long but definitely long enough for most applications. If you find it too long you can roll it up using the built in cable holder design. Most heaters don’t have this and you find yourself wrapping it around the device / radiator fins.

Upon turning on, It heats up rather quickly too, within 3 minutes it was touch warm making some typical radiator ticking noise. After 5 minutes, it was very hot, you can no longer touch the fins and functioned as it should without any clicking noises once up to temp and will only make the odd occasional sound mainly when heat adjustment is made.
In comparison to an older and even bigger oil filled radiators I have used in the past, this one’s 11 fin design allows the oil to be heated quicker and even dissipate more heat for us to utilise.

Basic remote, easy to use. However uses old infrared technology which requires you to point it at the LED screen to receive your signal.

Built in thermostat seems intelligent settings between 15-35c based on room temperature it will make the heat adjustment to suit.

Timer feature is very basic. Set in 1 hour intervals. Can set up to 12! If you want it permanently on, then leave it on 0. Timer feature is linear meaning you can only go up on the hours, once you reach 12, it will finally go back on to 0 if you wish to not set a timer.

Mode setting seems to increase the amount of hot air excavating off the surface of the radiator. I’m not entirely honest on how this complies with the thermostat feature as it feels like its on max power when on the highest setting.
My assumption is to use the lowest setting (the one with the least lines at the top of the 3 options) for the most energy efficient mode unless you are very cold!

Overall, I have almost nothing to fault about this product. The bad reviewers potentially received defects in which case you can easily get a replacement as well as the company even offers 2 year warranty with the products.
It is honestly a very advanced radiator in comparison to old school analogue switch ones I have used in the past and the most I can say is that this beeping sound coming from the radiator every time you make a change to the settings is annoying?

Can recommend if you need an oil filled heater.

Very easy to assemble, IKEA level. Fast heat production!

This oil fired radiator is much more modern than my old one. It is very good at warming up my summerhouse very quickly. It has a remote control so that you can change the temperature from your chair.
Much more efficient that the old type that used to take ages to warm up.
    Recommended.

And thankfully mine was delivered safe and sound. It came in its OEM packaging in cardboard, surrounded by polystyrene foam moderately thick.

The wheel bar and wheels came separately inside the box and needed attaching.

    Plugged it in, sharp beep.

Used remote and buttons to enable.

And I honestly cannot express how fast it warmed up to specified temperature.
I am used to some slow oil radiators that are from more than 20 years ago. I genuinely didnt question that faster ones might exist.
This, I barely managed to finish reading the instructions before I nearly burnt my hand on it. The bottom seemed to be hotter in about 4 minutes, and the top about 6 minutes. That’s not bad at all!

I feel if you’ve been unlucky with an awful oem box then your radiator might not work.
However I’ve been lucky, and can rate mine as perfectly fit for use, and far better than my previous.

    Two qualms.
The remote has nothing on it to let it hang somewhere eg make a hook or hole on it. The radiator has nowhere safe to store the remote either, so I will be losing this in the future, I know.
There is no carry handle, so when it’s got, there’s no safe way to move it easily.
And a small third: the cable is far too short. Do better.

I was pretty surprised at the cost of this, which seems overpriced, and that means a star off in my book. Otherwise this would have been shiny 5 stars, as this is wonderfully efficient, 2500w, so the heat output is excellent. I’ve had this set this up in my daughter’s lounge diner, a fairly long room with big windows and wooden floors. It was astonishing how quickly it heated the room – simply set the thermostat and off it goes, we were warm about 10-15 minutes. It’s a very quick and effective way of getting heat where you need it most. I like the wide wheel base, which gives the radiator stability, although it’s a faff to fit the wheels on and as everyone has said, the instructions are useless. Ditto the remote, for me, which only works if you’re pretty close, not from the other end for instance. But with a thermostat it’s easy to control. Just be aware, that as it’s 2.5kw,p, once you know your unit rate, per kilowatt hour, for electricity, you need to multiply that up by 2.5 to calculate the hourly running cost. This would work very well plugged into a smart plug I reckon.
Overall the quality of the build seems very good, in my opinion and well made, with plenty of stability: it’s a shame others have had such a bad experience. I’d say ignore the instructions and remote, appreciate the heat output and hope they bring the cost down a little

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGood product, working as its described, heats up quite fast, once is hot will maintain warm the room, only used on low setting until now so I can’t say how much energy is using on high setting, I’m not using timer. The only thing I’m not very pleased is the remote doesn’t work from sides or far, it’s some sort of infrared that has to be pointed straight at display unit. But the product is good, I’m happy, I can move it anywhere, comes in gloss black which I like it. We’ll see in the long run how will perform and how much energy uses.

    Good produc

My heater arrived with all the outer packaging in mint condition. It’s very easy to operate and for an oil filled heater, it’s not over heavy. The castor wheels are free moving and make it easy to move it from one place to another without having to lift it.

I’m not keen on the way the feet stick out. I guess they need to for balance, but I’ve had to move this from the area I really wanted to place it because they’re a trip hazard. It’s a narrow area and they stick out too much. The thermostat and remote work well. These heaters don’t warm instantly, but once warm, they do retain heat and they’re an excellent background additional source. It looks like a heater, black can be quite dominating but I’m not unhappy with it. It’s a reasonable price and all in all, a good buy.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI was worried about the condition this would arrive, after reading some poor reviews but luckily it arrived in tact, well protected and in perfect condition.
The manual for assembly (attaching the wheels) and the controls aren’t the clearest.
Tested it out for the first time today and really happy with it. There’s a simple red switch that turns on the power, as well as a on/off button and its simply a case of setting the temperature. There are 3 different heat modes low, medium and high, each with a different output wattage ranging from 1000 – 2500 watts.
The timer function does what I’d require a timer function to do, which is set it to come on up to 12 hours – Perfect for heating our home office prior to working. There is a small remote included which has the same settings that are on the radiator, to control temperature, mode and set the timer.
I found the radiator warmed up quicker than I imagined and was hot to the touch within 10 minutes. I’d say it took about half an hour to notice a difference in temperature in the room.
Aesthetically pleasing and does what we want it to do.
    Would recommend!

    Heats up quickly and efficie
