Bought to replace an ancient desktop PC that can’t be upgraded to Win11.

Setup was a breeze, it was up and running very quickly and I have been able to install all the software I require without difficulty.

Despite this not being a large-brand machine it works brilliantly. It’s fast and quiet, just what I wanted.

When my old laptop finally wore out I took my time researching for a mini PC. My priority was something quiet. The 16GB RAM is fast and the 512GB SSD has plenty of room for me. I don’t play video games or use large programs like Photoshop so don’t need a separate video card with a fan which would raise the noise level. The celeron chip might not be the fastest out there but again reduces noise levels and does everything I want so quickly.

I plugged keyboard, mouse and screen into it, switched on and it booted straight into windows 11 no problem. I got a new soundbar which has an HDMI connection and cable so the 2nd HDMI socket has come in useful already.

Altogether a neat little PC and I’m delighted with it.

Small IS beautiful….. out of the box plugged in and worked a dream. If only passwords were as straight forward. No idea how they make it so small….. don’t be put off by the size it does everything I want beautifully

For the size of this computer the speed and adaptability is good but time will tell if there are going to be any problems. One main dislike is the vega mount slot’s should be the opposite way round because when the pc is fitted to my new monitor it could drop out of the slots. This is if you want the cable ports above.Sideways is not as secure..

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOne of the best purchases I’ve ever made. Very compact size but fast and powerful. Used as an entertainment platform connected to a 70 inch 4k tv. Picture quality is excellent and connecting a 2tb usb3 drive to one of the USB3 ports gives more than sufficient media storage capacity.
Seriously considering buying a second one to replace my aging desktop computer, as that doesn’t meet the requirements for Windows 11 and is getting particularly slow.
Cannot recommend this mini pc enough, as it is one excellent buy.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFor more than a month I called and emailed the UK Nipogi customer service regarding 2 issues with a GK3 PRO. I provided details and sent a video demonstrating one of the faults. The UK service representative was very polite and direct but unable to make any decision without authorisation from the main office. Finally, they emailed to say that the GK3 PRO model I bought was still not available in the UK warehouse and so they could not send a replacement. Instead, they have offered a refund. I am happy with that outcome.

    The GK3 PRO (RAM/16GB ROM/512GB CPU/Intel N5105) I bought has 2 faults.
    1. The VGA display port has stopped working. The VGA port worked well for a few weeks but now does not work. I have confirmed that my monitor and VGA cable are both good. The HDMI outputs of the computer work correctly and are able to drive a smart TV. My monitor doesn’t have a HDMI input so I have had to buy a new monitor.
    2. WiFi does not work when an SSD drive is installed. When an internal SSD drive is installed, the GK3’s WiFi does not connect to the Internet. I have tried two different SSD drives and both cause the same issue with the WiFi.

The service centre has honoured their pledge to refund or replace a faulty device. So, despite these faults and the delay in resolving the issue with the customer service department, I would consider buying another Nipogi computer. The GK3 PRO is good value, it is attractively presented and built, and the ports and on/off switch etc are arranged in a logical way. The N5105 CPU and graphics performance are adequate for most tasks and, of course, Windows 11 is a pleasure to use.

This isn’t meant to be a whizz-bang gaming machine. It doesn’t carry the price tag nor the power consumption. What it is is a great machine for everyday web browsing, word processing, email etc etc. It fits on the back of my monitor and is silent in operation. Just what I wanted.

Bought this using the 10 percent off and 60 voucher, giving me a tremendous saving. Received it in two days . Over the years I’ve had many computers but I didn’t have a Windows 11 machine so I bought this to see how it performs, run some music software and play a few retro games.
I am pleased to say it exceeded all my expectations – my music software DAW and plugins all run without a hitch or a single stutter. Windows 11 is a better OS than 10, it’s like they have taken the feel of 7 and added it to 10. CPU is fast and responsive, my retro games all running fine. DOSbox works well too. Came with a power supply and HDMI lead which they didn’t have to do, which is a nice touch and saved me having to search for one.
Four screws and a mounting bracket is supplied so you can fit the PC behind the monitor which I recommend you do. The main reason is that it keeps it conveniently out the way and has effectively turned a 19 inch LG HDTV I was given into an all in one PC. Perfect for my music production, playing games and media. 12gb RAM is just fine for my needs. Bluetooth and WiFi are all built in so I can use my wireless headphones with it. You can also add an SSD or laptop hard drive to make some more space, so I’ve ordered a 512gb SSD for it for 24. Unfortunately no micro SD card slot which I would have thought come as standard, but that’s only a minor niggle. If your needs are similar to mine then I wholeheartedly recommend this mini PC. However, if you are into heavy PC gaming and your needs are more intensive graphically then I suggest you go for an i7 or i9 system rather than a mini PC.
All in all, it’s excellent. I rate it a 9 out of 10.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing little mini computer!

Brought this a short while ago to replace my media box. Every couple of years the media boxes, which run on Android, would stop doing ota updates and would fall behind on the builds. They would be come laggy or stop working. Although they would cost less than this mini pc. Over timee. The costs mount up.
I perrused many of these mini units before deciding on this one.
Mainly like the 16gb of ram and decent sized storage at 512gb.
As I mainly use it to run media, find it quick and easy to do all that is required of it.
To the point my laptop is virtually retired, as I find it more convenient to do my work on a bigger screen.!!
I have a 4tb usb 3 storeage attached. Which run very quietly in conjunction with this unit, so there is masses of the internal SSD unused, meaning no constant overwriting.
Simply downloaded Clean Master to keep the computer running optimal, downloaded VLC to run my movie selection.
Obviously, as per windows, there are constant updates for the install. But the 5g networking takes care of them relatively quickly.
Overall, very impressed with the speed and reliability so far.
No worries about it stopping updating or having to replace it in a couple of years or so.
As it is sat under our TV, taking up no room, it runs silently and wakes when I turn my TV on. You don’t even notice it.
If you want an office programme, then I find Apache a good choice, very similar to windows office and best of all it’s free.!!
Hope this review helps someone to make their choice in the future.

This thing is TINY but very quick! It comes with handy brackets so you can mount it on the back of a monitor, very quick boot up due to the SSD, better and quicker than any full sized PC I’ve ever had.

This small PC is surprisingly fast, given the CPU is a celeron based processor. I added an internal ssd drive and external USB 3 drive plus a USB 3 DVD drive. Windows 11 Pro O.S. is a fresh new feel, and I like it. Starts up fast and shuts down fast, and that’s a good thing. After installing my preferred software I created an image and start-up disc. The Windows 11 Pro pre-installed comes without any “Bloatware” and that’s good. Love this thing, that’s why I added the extra’s.

    A real gem.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought this as a replacement for an old desktop that was 13 years old and slow. It is primarily for my daughter and her general surfing and watching YouTube videos. It is not used for gaming.

The size and weight is amazing. It literally fits in the palm of your hand. It has plenty of USB ports, an HDMI port and a jack to plug speakers into, About the jack, it took a bit to get it to work. Had to jiggle the plug a bit and got it working. It wasn’t a big deal though because with built in Bluetooth, I just connected the PC to other speakers.

As for speed, it is blinding fast. Set up was easy(ish) as Windows 11 thru up a couple of quirks but this is down to Microsoft and not the PC.

The spec is great. Built in Bluetooth and WiFi. Very quiet fan. Amazing value.

Apple has just come out with a new Mac Mini. You can have three of these for the price of one Mac Mini. I cannot see why you’d pay for for an Apple when this product is so good.

Felt I would not be able to get it working out of the box. Plugged it in and it came up with lots of easy questions to get it up and running. So easy to load up. Getting the unit on line didn’t happen but it knew what was wrong and helped me to do this with success.
When working I went to windows updates and there was quite a lot of updates to do, but this is to be expected and did take a few hours to get there. I don’t mind this as you want the latest operating system updates.
The clock time was wrong so you need to set it to UK time, think American time was set as a default.
But I would say it works with no noise and I am very pleased with it so happy to give it a five star rating.
Did not want this unit for gaming as I don’t do this and this may not be the one to get if you want to do this. But don’t think twice about this as I love it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis product is fantastic. It enables me to work through any tv in the house or when I’m working away. It is a very fast and seamless product so far and I use it more frequently than my laptop now, due to its speed. Whilst using the computer, the noise it generates is minimal and the compact size of the product means it can easily be kept anywhere. I have not used this for gaming and probably won’t in the future so cannot give a clear picture on its performance for that use. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a fast, reliable and powerful computer but specially if you are someone who finds them selves in different locations often.

8gb/256 6mths ago. Bought to get up to date with Windows 11. My two desktops can’t handle it. What pleasant surprise! Setup in minutes, pretty much automatically. Added a wireless keyboard and mouse, Running quietly and cool. Performs well above expectations, unless you are a heavy duty gamer. Added an additional Crucial mx500gb ssd, again in just two steps and matter of minutes (for my photos). Bolted it to the back of my TV with supplied fixings and now have a spritely little machine running 4k on my big screen. After six months plus permanently on, it remains trouble free. I can well recommend it. There’s a newer model with an upgraded processor at only a small price increase (just make sure you check the discount voucher box). Best buy this year for sure.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersGreat Value Mini PC. Didn’t really want to go back to PC after having a Mac for several years. But at this price point and the fact I could hide it behind the back of my monitor it just had to be done. Office included and easy set up as long as have a corded mouse and keyboard to set it up. My daughter can always take UNI if the need arises as a back up to the laptop. So when it was on sale with 80 voucher also couldn’t even buy from Ali express for 148 and used some birthday money towards the purchase. considering the computer I had was over 12 years old I find this very fast and it’s been great for everything that I use so far including a few games. The body of it is plastic and side has two USB and 1 USB 2 port along with the power button and the other side has a VGA port the rear has the power port two HDMI ports and another USB2 and an RJ45 Ethernet and audio an lock slot there is also a release catch for the lid which is secured with a screw that must be removed first when the lid is removed you have access to the Saturday drive Bay and you can see what looks like a usb c plug inside but no way of accessing this without removing the casing. All in all this is a great space saving computer and seems to work really really well

This mini PC doesn’t disappoint.A real snappy performer with 16 gig of ram.I fitted a 500gb SSD for extra storage as well which was a breeze to fit – easy peasy. Loads of peripheral connections too.Lovely

Easy set up and on the Home Screen in less than 10 minutes. Once you have updated your system to the latest 22H2 version ( the usual Microsoft fare loads of updates you know what I mean grab yourself a tea or coffee or whatever takes your fancy something a little stronger perhaps ! ). Once that’s out the way you are all set up and ready to go and the shiny new Windows 11 Professional mini PC fully activated machine experience awaits you.

Boot time is s-u-u-u-p-e-r fast, blink and you’re on the home screen. How good is that !
I’m not into gaming so I honestly can’t comment there but for browsing and YouTube, Office tasks etc etc absolutely love it. It’s a very capable mini marvel.

This is a very versatile mini PC.Put it in your pocket (or your bag which would be more sensible ! ) and with a mini bluetooth keyboard and mouse combo, hdmi cable (supplied in the box) you can set up anywhere you have access to a screen. Fantastic !

I personally would have liked to see more options in the bios menu but that’s me I love to tinker !

So summing up a definite 5 from me.

And last but by no means least a fantastic customer service experience from Chloe at Jappoltd. Very quick to reply to an issue I had with the power adapter but all good now. Sorted !

Don’t hesitate just buy one, you really will love this mini PC !

As I have only had it for two days it is hard to make definitive remarks but so far so good. It is very fast, from switching on to desktop is less than 20 seconds and shutdown is similar. It acts just like my desktop computer but it is so small that it can sit underneath my monitor as the photo shows.
Windows 11 seems to be worse than Windows 10 as Microsoft is so keen for us to use Edge and Bing when we want to use Chrome &Google that it is irritating.
    Nonetheless a promising start.

    Very small and very quick

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI bought the Mini PC to be used as Home Office device. Most of the time, I use Word, etc, and my hope PC is equipped with a i7 10700k and a GTX 3070ti which use far too much power for these mundane tasks.

The device works very well. 16GB of RAM and the 10th gen Celeron are more than enough to get office work done, browse the internet or watch movies (in 4k). I failed to realise the that device is not equipped with a USB 3 Type C port, however, if you open the top (to insert a 2.5″ drive, you can see that it does have an internal Type C port. Unfortunately, it is obscured by the case and I did not test whether it is fully functional, but I would suspect that it is. If you find a small extender cable with an L-connector you might be able to mod this in.

The cooling is sufficient though, note that the vents at the top are only for passive airflow. The fan pulls in from the bottom and the shroud pushes the air out at the bottom as well. The intake and exhaust vents are reasonably well separated, but with additional clearance at the bottom, the fan has to do far less work.

There are no issues with the 512GB SSD, I did not run any speed tests, but looking at the drive, it is not a known brand, so I expect that there are faster drives available. However, upgrading the drive would likely result in other components bottle-necking.

It has a power supply delivering max 30w, commonly it runs at about 10w.

    Great for office work

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersComes with a short HDMI cable and what looks like a monitor mount. Plus the external 12v PSU brick. Box itself weighs next to nothing. Windows 11 Pro is preinstalled. I’ve left it on for the time being.

Performance is adequate for general desktop use and web browsing but this low power Celeron isn’t going to be winning any performance awards. It benchmarks roughly between a 5 year old mainstream CPU and a 10 year old server. Benchmark results in the pictures.

For me, I’ve not noticed any intrusive noise and the CPU does seem to be dropping frequency and running low power as it should.

The motherboard described itself as Intel, but doesn’t seem to be one they advertise for retail. The memory and SSD are unbranded.

Overall I’m happy. Time will tell if these no name parts prove to be reliable.

The specs on this PC are amazing for the price. It’s much cheaper than a laptop.
I’m not a gamer, so I don’t know how it handles any of this, but for my purposes – work, video and lots of things open at the same time, it’s perfect. Sometimes when the company needs the software on this computer, I can take it directly to the company. Because it is very convenient to carry.
Mini computers are awesome, especially this one!

I’ve used a few mini PC’s in my time and currently use a very old early one which I will be replacing with this one eventually (I will update the review once I do as I will be using Linux on it, so will show how easy it was to replace Windows 11 with Linux).

The PC comes with Windows 11 pro preinstalled, although there is no Windows sticker on the device and the End User agreement suggested it could be a volume license copy rather than a retail version. It does show as successfully activated though. As I mentioned above, this won’t be an issue for me though as I plan to replace Win11 with Linux shortly.

The body of the PC is a plastic one with a copper style insert. The front has a blue strip on the front when powered on. The side has 2 USB3 and 1 USB 2 port along with a power button, and the other side is a VGA port. The rear has the power port, 2 HDMI ports (full size), another USB2 port, RJ45 ethernet, audio and a lock slot. There is also a release catch for the lid, which is secured with a screw that must be removed first. When the lid is removed you have access to the 2.5″ SATA drive bay. I can also see what looks like a USB-C plug inside but no way to access it without removing all the casing.

The processor inside is a 11th Gen Intel Celeron, which many CPU stats show as being broadly equivalent to 8th Gen i5 processors. Initial performance and use stats suggest this could easily be true as it is responsive. The 16GB ram is also high for this type of processor and helps Windows run smoothly. The SSD is a 512GB that performs slowly compared to modern NVMe systems. It is still responsive enough for this system though.

You do not get a mouse or keyboard, so you will need these to use the system.

Overall, a reasonable mini-PC that should be ideal once Linux is installed on it. The higher-than-normal memory and SSD capacity help responsiveness of the system. I am however concerned about the Windows 11 license as I did not get the EULA I expect from a retail or OEM Windows 11 out of box experience. If you are looking to replace Windows with Linux though, this won’t be any issue.

This mini PC works well as a basic office machine. It handles day to day tasks very well. With a video playing on youtube (alongside lots of tabs open on chrome), libreoffice writer (opensource verison of word) and a pdf open the computer runs smoothly without any noticeable lag and no noticeable fan noise.

Setup was easy and everything worked as expected out of the box with windows 11 pre-installed.

The mini PC has plenty of USB ports, 2 x HDMI and a VGA display port as well. It has an ethernet and 3.5 mm audio output as well. It is very small and can be mounted using the included VESA bracket to the rear of most monitors.

I haven’t beern able to test the computer with multiple displays so cannot comment on how well it handles it.

Overall this would be a great replacement for an aging desktop PC and for people who just want a basic PC for work. I would recommend.

This is a prefect PC – for most people (except maybe some serious gamers).
I have been using it for few days and am really impressed.

The setup takes less than 10 minutes – this is from opening the box, connecting the mini PC to power (it comes with power cable and adaptor), to monitor (it comes with 1m long HDMI cable) and attaching keyboard an mouse (these aren’t included) all the way to auto-installing Windows 11 and connecting to internet via WiFi (or cable if you prefer).

It has a fan-less decent Intel Celeron N5105 processor that is surprisingly capable, has 16BG RAM (this is a lot as most ppl work fine with 8GB, likely 16GB as it’s also used for the on-board graphics) and 500GB fast SSD drive or which 440GB is free (the rest is taken by Windows 11 and other system software).

I was impressed to see the on-board graphics was capable to support 3840 x 2160 resolution (4K) and even more impressed when I was running a 4K video for 10 minutes with no issues at all (see my screenshots and pics).

Having SSD drive means the PC starts nearly immediately from hard boot and equally fast from sleep mode. I normally run in sleep mode as all my apps set. remain open as they were, sleep mode uses very little energy.

The hole box is very light and small 12.5 x 12.5 x 5.5 cm (just over 5x5x2 inch), although the processor is fan-less there is a small very quiet fan, the box doesn’t get hot but feels warmish to touch on top (this is normal).

I have been using it largely for internet, some videos, email, excel / all the normal stuff and it performs really well with no lag, the internet is fast – all is good. A great little machine!

very good and powerful little machine

This review is for the NiPoGi Mini PC,Intel Celeron N5105 up to 2.9GHz,16GB RAM+512GB M.2 SSD,Windows 11 Pro Mini Computer.

This is a nice compact computer. It is well made and was super simple to setup. You will need your own keyboard, mouse and screen. It is pretty fast as it has 16GB RAM and an SDD drive. Has lots of different connections to allow you connect other items.

I have used for a number things already including basic work related tasks and playing games. So far no issues. I would personally recommend. Love the nice compact size.

I’ll admit up front that I wasn’t expecting much from this mini-PC but, having set it up and tested it I’m actually pretty impressed. The TL;DR is that this system would make an excellent upgrade/replacement for an aging desktop in a home office or small business, and that due to its pro features it would also work well in a larger commercial environment. Why’s this?

    – Although it’s “only” a Celeron processor, the N5105 is actually pretty capable and benchmarks similarly to an I5 of a few years ago. The CPU is given the opportunity to do its best by the following two points:
    – 16GB of memory is pretty generous and well above the minimum requirement for running Windows 11. This means that the user can have a number of tabs open in a browser and also keep quite a few productivity apps running simultaneously. Apps launch quickly because the OS can readily find the memory to load them into.
    – A fast M.2. SSD means that apps load quickly into memory. It’s well-sized at 512 GB – many similar systems come with only 128 or 256 GB of storage. In addition, there is internal space and a plug to attach a supplementary 2.5-inch SATA SSD or hard disk.
    – It comes with the Pro version of Windows 11 ready installed. Many low-end systems only come with the Home edition. Being equipped with Windows Pro means that this PC can work in the Windows Domain system used in many SMEs, especially those that are large enough to have an IT department.
    – It can be fitted to the back of a monitor that has a VESA mount, using the supplied kit. This saves desk space.
    – Low power consumption of 30W maximum and 10W during typical office use. We all need to save energy these days.
    – Ethernet (1Gbps) and Wi-Fi (AC standard) networking works as expected.
    – As well as having two HDMI video outputs, the box is also equipped with a VGA socket. Great if you have an old but still perfectly good monitor.

This isn’t a review of Windows 11, but this box runs it in a nicely snappy manner. I did have some issues with setting it up initially as I have a Microsoft 365 subscription and wanted to use a Microsoft sign-in, while the OS image here wanted to use a local user. This caused trouble with Windows Update later (probably permissions-related). However, after an OS reset everything worked as expected and the system now runs well.

Cooling can be a problem with small boxes and fans, but using the CPUID HW monitor app I get the following temperature and power readings for the CPU package (including the on-chip GPU):

Idle and light usage: 45C at 4W
    Video encoding (CPU-intensive): 70C at 10W
    Gaming (CPU- and GPU-intensive): 75C at 14W

These are perfectly OK figures. Fan noise becomes pretty obvious at high power levels but is never objectionable. At idle, or when running Office apps like Work or Excel, it’s nice and quiet.

I mentioned gaming just now. This is definitely not a gaming machine, but I was able to run older games like Portal at decent quality levels and frame rates (60+fps). A more modern game like the PC port of the excellent Journey strained things rather with 30 fps only reached by turning all the setting to minimum.

I’m typing this review on the system right now. You might say that a similarly-priced laptop would represent better value as it would also come with a screen, trackpad and keyboard, but all the ones I’ve looked at have had weaker processors, less memory and less storage. It’s horses for courses, and this PC gives decent value as the base of a desktop system for running productivity applications. Recommended.

I ordered this Mini PC based on the specs and looks. For the money it is a great value. Set-up for this computer was a breeze. Includes a Vesa mount for installation on a Vesa compatible monitor.
Great for my needs, I got MAC and not all apps working on it so having Windows PC is very beneficial.
For what it costs and what it is, just fine. Would buy again.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI bought one of these a while ago based on value for money. I needed a small computer for my office at work. The unit worked well, but I did notice that the little fan was on high revs nearly all the time. It was left on constantly. I went on vacation for a week and when I came back it would not start.

I contacted support at NIPOGI and they gave me some troubleshooting tips to try which I did to no avail. However as part of the troubleshooting I noticed a part (I think it was the voltage regulator) was literally burned out which explained why the unit would not start and the excessive fan. I passed this on to support and they immediately suggested that I return the unit for a refund.

I returned the unit and without any fuss I was provided with a replacement in good time. The pictures are of the new unit. I have no complaints about the device and I am very impressed with the after sales service, which to be honest I was not expecting.

Thanks NIPOGI I will shop here again!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent service

I’ve always had a bulky desktop computer but those days are gone. This little machine does everything its big brother can do and more.

I upgraded from win 10 to 11 without a problem. I don’t play games so no idea how it’ll perform but for general use it’s perfect.

I am a radio amateur (Ham!) operator and bought these Micro PCs to replace two ageing desktop ones. Their speed of booting is very quick as is the opening and closing of applications. They are being used for radio transceiver control and SDR (software defined radio). The number of IO ports is quite amazing and being able to use one SVGA and two HDMI monitors at the same time makes using multi screens easy work. Unfortunately, one of them lost the audio output. Being under warranty I contacted Amazon who directed me to the supplier/maker of the equipment. They were quick to respond and were very knowledgeable on the subject. They tried everything they could to fix the problem online, including sending links to software sites to reinstall drivers. With no luck online they replaced the unit with no quibble. It arrived two days later. It was installed, configured, and put back into operation working 100%. I cannot fault anything about this item or the manufacturers or suppliers. If you want a small footprint, fast machine, this one is for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Micro PC. No noise, little heat, fast operating, and quick booting for a low price.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersGreat bit of kit. Bought for a plex server for the house. Streams 4k Content fine.

Supplier / Seller very good! Requested a file to upgrade to Windows 11 and they supplied the file and a quick guide video. Went flawlessly.

When it gets a bit taxed the fan will come on. But I’m good with that for the size and price.

    Many thanks.

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersGreat as an occasional pc in the guest bedroom. Loads Windows quickly subtle looking using it with tv as monitor. Very happy

Since last review I did Windows 11 emerged and it fails the test for the new OS. Awaiting to see if there is a bios update released by PC manufacturer or Windows will lower their ridiculous high expectations to update new operating system. Of the 5 pc’s I own none will upgrade this was bought in August.
