Easy to assemble, compact, excellent value.
Loving my rowing machine. It is extremely easy to assemble due as you just have to fit together a few large bits together and voila!!!. It also folds up nicwely and doesn’t take up too much space when not in use, I tuck it away inside my airing cupboard when its not in use. It is very sturdy and extremely quiet during workouts.
I am yet to try out the connectivity with the mobile phone but overall a great value and a solid addition to my home gym!

I’m not often surprised, but I was actually shocked how good this is for the price. I scooped this up on Amazon for a steal as I had seen a similar one at Costco selling for double the price. Ngl I was a bit worried a machine off Amazon wouldn’t be the highest quality but I’m very happy with this!
It is easy to assemble and smooth. It feels very solid and easy to use, I’ve been using it 5 times a week and I’ve noticed an improvement in my muscle mass. It’s also saved me 45 a month a 30min drivee to and from the gym – it’sa almost paid for itself already. I’m pleased with the resistance and quality of the build. It flips up and takes very little space when I store it. I was a bit worried it would be too small as I am 6ft2 but surprisingly I have plenty of rail behind me when I row! It’s very quiet I’ve rowed at 1am with the wife sleeping in the next room :-). Reommended!

Great machine , solid and reasonably easy to assemble but let down by a useless info screen.
Great machine but let down by the information screen which is unreadable in virtually any light. luckily i use my phone instead but this may be a deal breaker for some people. Be Warned !

Real deal rowing machine
The Roneyville rowactiv8 is the real deal. It is a smart, innovative rowing machine that connects with your smart phone via bluetooth and allows you to track your progress, stay motivated and have fun with other app users in the Kinomap app. I’ve recently discovered it also connects to another app Bitgym, which is another interactive app that allows you to take on the world no matter where you are which is also a lot of fun. The Rowactiv8 has a magnetic resistance system making it easy to adjust to your desired level of difficulty. I’ve always been a fan of rowing, so I’m looking forward to getting to know my new smart rowing machine.

Genuinely impressed with the quality of this rowing machine! I feel like it supports and distributes my weight very well. The fact that I can distract myself by watching the tv also helps. My consistency has definitely improved thanks to this machine

Very pleased
Great beginner machine – arrived today and got it set up and connected to Kinomap app and to BitGym app ( which I prefer) both via iphone and iPad. I have used Concept2 at the gym but needed a quiet easy to move machine for home and the magnetic drive with webbing strap is silent for home and working well so far. I screen mirror to the TV and its exactly what I needed . The BitGym app screen is seen in the photo. Bitgym gives the option of motion detect via the camera if so it works without Bluetooth but it was good that the app able to connect to the rowing machine via Bluetooth as an option. I am average height slim build so it suits me.
Great for at home
This was bought as a present for my husband. It took him about 45 minutes to put together. He uses it regularly and loves challenging himself whenever he uses it. As he works mainly from home now, it does mean he doesn’t have to go out to the gym as much. He does use his mobile phone with it for videos etc, so a great buy.

Excellent Rowing Machine, Very well priced
I have always wanted a rowing machine since finding out that that using a rowing machine was great exercise for the whole body. However I have been a bit overwhelmed as a result of the sheer number of models out there. However after a few days of meticulous research, I found a clear winner: The Roneyville Rowactiv8.
We were able to put this product together easily in just 30 minutes. The instructions were straightforward and the parts were clearly labeled, making it a breeze to put together. My husband and I had no trouble at all following the instructions and putting the product together.
This rowing machine is future-proof as it allowed me to connect the rowing machine to my Iphone using the bluetooth function – I can thus take part in online classes whenever I decide to.
I was so pleased with the results I got from using the Rowactiv8 that I started recommending it to all of my friends. I started out slow, rowing for just 20 minutes a day on the lowest setting. Within two weeks I had increased my time to 30 minutes, and once I was comfortable with that I started increasing the resistance. Now I’m up to setting 5, and I exercise for 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week after work. It feels great to break a sweat after sitting at a desk all day, and exercising on my Roneyville rower gets my blood flowing. I actually find myself solving some work problems while I’m using the machine- which is an added bonus!
In just seven weeks, I can already see a noticeable difference in my body – my arms and chest are more toned and my stomach is flatter. I know that my diet and daily walks are helping too, but this machine is definitely a key part of my fitness routine that I’ll continue to use for a long time.

I received this yesterday and was easy to assemble, quality was good and it was nice and quiet to use. However I purchased this product over others as it had the smart feature to the Kinomap app. After struggling to set it up I contacted the seller and he was absolutely amazing, very professional and patient and waited on the phone to ensure that it was all connected!! A massive bonus selling point from me. I have one very happy kid rowing around the South Pacific islands tonight! Thank you!
I purchased this rowing machine about 2 weeks ago after I made a commitment to get in shape. I saw it on sale and the price was right. The folding aspect of the machine has made storing it in our living area simple which is another great feature! If you’re trying to stay fit, rowing is excellent cardiovascular exercise that’s effortless both physically and mentally which makes it easier to do every day. Plus it only takes up as much space as you’re willing to make for your workout equipment. One other thing we noticed while reading testimonials was how easy it was to set up – even if we take our time. Despite taking about an hour, the machine comes mostly assembled so all you have to do when you get it is attach the remaining parts yourself.
It’s a good machine. It has enough resistance levels and I like the tension at my current level (4). I feel it will take me a bit of time to climb to 8 and by then, I’ll just do more reps. For my needs, I hardly hear it when I’m using it either, which is great. All in all, a fantastic machine for me.
I needed an exercise machine I could put together myself and which wouldn’t require too much space. After checking a bazillion different brands, products, etc; I decided to invest in this Roneyville Rowactiv8- it’s a gem! I cannot stop singing itspraises. Assembly was very straightforward (I did it by myself even though I’m female and 65 😉 It folds away easily when not in use, but still takes up little space.
I use it every day on one the middle settings, sometimes twice a day and within a comparatively short space of time I have began to notice a significant improvement in both my arm and leg strength and, most importantly, in my core strength.
It is very well-built than what I was expecting for the price, the seat runs smoothly and the whole mechanism is surprisingly quiet and it just makes a muted sound, so you won’t drive the neighbours mad. The counter records distance, strokes and time that sort of thing which is all I needed. I am yet to connect it to my phone and use the app but I am impressed with it none-the-less.
