Had problem with alarm sounding, contacted customer service got back to me next day. Great result exsplained what I had to do. Very happy easy to set up Strong magnet good battery life. Very accurate where my car is.

After a lot of research, decided on SafeTag mag.
Good size for tucking away and so far very accurate.

What a value for money product, beyond my expectations. I use a sky tag in my Landrover that gives me no access to history or location. This one gives me instant location and live feedback.
This is the second GPS tracker I have bought and I am very impressed with the features and accuracy of this one. Charging and fitting is very easy. The hardest bit is finding somewhere to hide it in your car. Overall I am impressed and will definitely get a second one when I swap my wife’s car to something worth stealing.

I bought this tag for my car with so many being stolen. It is easy to install use and is perfect. I had to contact customer services with a query they came back to me within a day and were very helpful. I would recommend this product.

The data cost (I understand to be cross networks) I think is very reasonable.
My insurance are happy and my phone app is also happy.
Mapping is good, battery life is OK, good signal strength. Uses dedicated IOT sim that can contact many signal providers, hence no drop outs in tracking.
Initially bought to track car in case it gets stolen, but found it very useful to record me and my wife’s meanderings around the countryside!
The first battery charge only lasted 5 days so I was initially very worried I bought a dud, but the second charge is still going at 28 days (weekend driving mainly). I contacted the help, they were good too. They said the battery must have been stored in the warehouse a long time without charge and promised to replace if it didn’t recover.
I am delighted with our SafeTag device.
Peace of mind is not easily gained these days, but we have it now thanks to our magnetic SafeTag – the car is protected and we always know where it is, covering theft or returning to it.
The second significant use is when my wife is out walking the hills – the device lets her know exactly where she is at any time, whilst I can monitor it also, knowing where to go to get her in case of an emergency situation arising. Again, peace of mind.
The App is easy to use and works well.
All in all, almost perfect – the only criticism being initial use: it would be good to say in the literature that the device needs charging for 3-4 hours before use/registration I panicked when no lights appeared and the unit appeared dead. Rectified by an email

I like the product. It ticks all my requirements (no wires, easy to charge, track car, sends alerts without network issues, geo-fence, iOS app, not expensive). I will definitely recommend it.

Great tracker, signal seems to be stable. It’s fantastic for the price.
The reasons I chose this one were; 1, it claimed long battery life. 2, it had magnetic fitting meaning instant & easy installation. 3, it came with a free App. 4, it came working straight out of the box. 5, the monthly fee is lower than what I was quoted for getting my own SIM. 6, the App looked good & you could set up a GeoFence & add as many TAG’s as you needed. 7, first 7 days free.
It came the next day, boxed, with a USB charger cable & a small instruction manual.
The TAG is about the size of a cigarette packet, it’s black & has lights that show when charging to show charging status.
I put it on charge & downloaded the App using the bar code in the instruction manual. To register the TAG & yourself takes only a few minutes & it came online during the charging time. The whole set up including opening the box took 10 or so minutes. It actually took me longer to find the place I was happy with to put the TAG. I was concerned about the strength of the magnets as the trailer is a bit bouncy when loaded & I didn’t want it getting trampled by the horses. I did not need to worry, the magnets are great, they are so strong that removing it to charge can be a little awkward where ours is positioned but it’s doable, it has not moved at all & the trailer get used at least once a week. When you place the TAG you need to consider that it needs to be both accessible & hidden from plain view, there were several places I considered & that were viable. It is now over 50 days since the first charge & the App is sending me messages stating that the battery level is 20% & it needs recharging.
The App is fantastic, we have set it to send us a message if/when the trailer moves more than 1k from its home, this GeoFence works great. In the App you have everything you need to set it up to your requirements. It shows movements, times/dates, speed, routes & route history, location & everything else you could want. When you click on your TAG you can view by using different maps, I prefer Google Maps as you can get a Street View of its location as well as a Satellite view. All of my family have the App on our phones & we have the App on our laptops & you can add as many TAG’s as you like. The App/TAG costs a very small amount for what you get, and less than a lot of others out there too, it’s less than I expected to pay & a lot less hassle than I expected if I had gone down the sort my own SIM & App out route. The first time we travelled with the trailer outside the GeoFence it traced it fine but it didn’t send us an alert, I emailed when I got to where I was going, as it was on the weekend I didn’t expect to hear back until the following Monday or Tuesday to get an answer for my question. I actually had a reply within the hour, the reply was very helpful & sorted the issue easily (my fault at set up), I asked their rep a few other questions & received prompt & helpful replies, the after sales service is great, even the App itself has had updates.
I am/was looking at adding a off shoot to one of the live connections into the trailer and running a charge cable to the TAG to give a constant trickle charge when it’s being used to reduce the number charge but to be honest – it’s looking like one charge for our usage is going to last at least 60 days I don’t think I can be bothered.
I would 100% recommend this TAG, it is absolutely perfect for us & our requirements & it does everything it says it will do & it does it very well indeed. The value for money is spot on.

Really useful item – especially if you want to track what happens when you leave car parked at airport etc. Battery life seems really good. Still got 70% charge after 2 weeks. Recommended.
Very easy fool proof product, best & mist professional support centre, many other companies could learn from them, exceptional service.
Battery life was a concern, but so far after 1 month I have only re-charged the battery once and even then it was showing just below 50%. Note: I don’t use the vehicle loads so this may be different with lots of use. The app is simple to download and setup. The ‘History’ shows any movement while the battery level can also be checked via the app.
On the downside is the USB charge lead has a specifically long blade to reach into the socket so you do have to use the lead supplied for charging. Don’t lose it! Also, the small cover over the charge socket would better hinged so you don’t risk losing it while its charging.
Great tech support is a real positive – I had a question during the initial use and got an almost immediate response from tech support which solved the issue for me.
After just over a month of ownership I am happy to recommend giving this a try if a simple to use tracker is what you are looking for.

I bought my tracker to protect my Campervan. I did a fair bit of research and realised the only real solution to finding my van if it was stolen, was by having a tracker with a live feed. I thought getting a tracker with a sim card would be expensive, but was pleasantly surprised by the low cost of the Safetag.
The tracker was under 30 and the sim contract was 49 for a year. It arrived a day after I ordered it. Setting up was simple by following the instructions and downloading the app. The magnet is strong and allows for the device to be easily fitted to any metal part on the van.The mapping is very accurate and I like the geo fence. While I don’t use the van a lot during the winter, I have set this at 100m. The alerts when it moves outside of this are prompt.
In summary, the peace of mind this tracker gives me is worth the cost of set up, in fact I am thinking of getting one for my day to day car. I would recommend this to anyone that has a treasured vehicle or moviable object. (It would be good to have one that easily fits inside the tubes of a bike frame).
Bought this tracker. Easy set up. simple and clear app. Worked perfectly for first couple of days. Then stopped recieving notifications on any movements. Emailed safetag. Replied immediately. Within 2 hours, it was all sorted. Excellent communication and customer service. I felt very valued. Mew app is updated with more better features. Would really recommend
I cannot rate this product and service highly enough.i has a slight issue with my tracker and the geo fence not responding.i contacted the team at safetag and couldn’t believe the fantastic service I received. Other companies could do with taking a leaf out of this fantastic companies customer service. The tracker is small accurate and I’ve still not had to charge it up yet 3 weeks later…. Perfect for my caravan when it’s not in its storage yard.
The SafeTag Mag tracker has been brilliant, it works well, it’s accurate and alerts you when the vehicle moves/stops and provides a history of journeys taken. It’s easy to set up and use, the app is good and if you have any issues then customer services are there when you need them and are very helpful. Battery life so far is really good but I guess it depends on how often the vehicle is in motion. All in all for price, accuracy and customer service it can’t be beaten.

When an item works exactly as advertised it deserves recognition. This is a well built piece of kit and the software works fine.

I have been using this tracker for a good few weeks now both on my car and on a truck, the accuracy of this little box is amazing !
When it was used on the truck the details from the tracker were compared up against the tachograph and the results were spot on every time, when the tacho showed it was moving the same on the tracker at exactly the same times.
It’s small enough to be hidden away robust enough to take the bumps and bashed a truck goes through.
Charging is quick and easy and the charge lasts at least two weeks, depending on how you use it.
If there is one fault it’s that I haven’t discovered how to print of each days tracking yet, I’m sure there’s a way, but me and tec aren’t the best of friends.
If you need a tracker for whatever purpose I can highly recommend this one, it’s not to expensive, and the monthly outlay is low and well worth it for piece of mind.

I’m really happy with this little tracker, i’ve found it lasts about a month with me driving around about 2 hours a day. The tracking accuracy on the app is great, and the notifications to my phone are very handy. No complaints.
I put this in my sons backpack when he goes to school, I feel better knowing where he is and it isn’t very heavy
