Fantastic tracker with a realistic annual subscription charge.
I purchased 2 trackers for our vehicles and have been delighted with their performance and ease of getting them set up. One of the major plus points is the very reasonable annual subscription charge. I’ve not had this tracker for very long, but the accuracy seems excellent, i’ve had similar trackers before, and they were very slow in pinpointing the vehicle, but not this one, this one is very good. I had a couple of queries which I emailed the support team, I got A very quick response from them which was great so I would certainly recommend this product and also the company.

Great value and does what it says
I bought this tag for my car with so many being stolen. It is easy to install use and is perfect. I had to contact customer services with a query they came back to me within a day and were very helpful. I would recommend this product.

So Good I Bought More
This is a great tracker and it can be hidden away in various places due to its strong magnets.

Their customer service is second to none, I’ve never known this standard of service before and its an absolute credit to this company. And such a refreshing feeling that they actalually care about their customers.

I bought my first one and then thought its so good I’m getting more, this is ideal for motorbikes, cars, trucks, vans, boats, caravans and just about anything that could be stolen.
They also do a smaller tracker for other items and even people, keep your kids safe by tracking where they are if they haven’t come home by a certain time etc.

Well worth the money and so easy to use. Charging it is a doddle too, mine lasts about a month on one charge

Realtime accurate notificatio
Over the years I have tried many trackers such as Gego and Vodafone, but find SafeTag products head and shoulders above the rest. It is very accurate and is usually to within 10 metres of your location. It has a tracking history which is held in the cloud for a year for you. Set up is a cinch, download the app and bang in the code and register and you are up and running in 30 minutes. The support by email is quick, friendly and they give you excellent advice.
I use trackers in my car, as well as been antitheft, it helps keep the tabs on the younger family you lend your car to and you can check that they drive at safe speeds and where they go, should you wish to know.
The smaller safe tags I use for luggage. Those of you who transfer at Heathrow or Gatwick will be very familiar with lost luggage.
The picture shows one of my bags still at Gatwick when I am in Sicily and I know my luggage’s whereabouts more accurately than my airline. You can keep on top of them and your bags progress, as it is returned to you.
Battery life depends on your set up usage and you get about a week out of the mini Safetags, and several weeks out the larger Safetag devices, that is having on maximum, with them blasting back information every 45 seconds
These luggage trackers are reasonably priced and if you only use them when you go on holiday you can opt to pay month by month at a very reasonable 5.99, cheaper of course if you buy 3 or 12 month subscriptions.
It is worth paying to see your luggage being loaded onto your plane, – or at least you’ll know where it is!

Purchased to use on my vehicle. Didn’t want to spend a fortune on a tracker so decided to go for a subscription style tracker and chose to go with safetag. Overall the quality of the product is fantastic for the price and easy to secure in and out of site area. The set up and activation if the tracker is very simple and is not complicated. Once activated the app is very simple to navigate and clear. Ther signal and acuarcy of location is very good and the battery is currently holding to what was stated. The customer care is fantastic and they genuinely give a vibe of care and courtesy which is hard to find these days. Will be happily keeping my subscription and will purchase again from them

Perfect battery TAG for our horse traile
I needed a TAG for our horse box trailer as one was stolen from our yard. Because it’s not always connected to our car & receiving a current it had to be a battery TAG. Another thing I had to consider was the way it connected to the internet. Basically, you either buy one with or without a SIM. If it doesn’t come with a SIM it is generally cheaper but you have to sort out a SIM & set it up yourself. You will need either a Pay As You Go SIM or one with a monthly fee. If you go for one that comes with a SIM it will work straight out of the box once charged but your initial outlay will be more & you will pay a monthly amount to be connected to the internet. . Lastly, there is how you can view & monitor the TAG’s information & set parameters.

The reasons I chose this one were; 1, it claimed long battery life. 2, it had magnetic fitting meaning instant & easy installation. 3, it came with a free App. 4, it came working straight out of the box. 5, the monthly fee is lower than what I was quoted for getting my own SIM. 6, the App looked good & you could set up a GeoFence & add as many TAG’s as you needed. 7, first 7 days free.

It came the next day, boxed, with a USB charger cable & a small instruction manual.

The TAG is about the size of a cigarette packet, it’s black & has lights that show when charging to show charging status.

I put it on charge & downloaded the App using the bar code in the instruction manual. To register the TAG & yourself takes only a few minutes & it came online during the charging time. The whole set up including opening the box took 10 or so minutes. It actually took me longer to find the place I was happy with to put the TAG. I was concerned about the strength of the magnets as the trailer is a bit bouncy when loaded & I didn’t want it getting trampled by the horses. I did not need to worry, the magnets are great, they are so strong that removing it to charge can be a little awkward where ours is positioned but it’s doable, it has not moved at all & the trailer get used at least once a week. When you place the TAG you need to consider that it needs to be both accessible & hidden from plain view, there were several places I considered & that were viable. It is now over 50 days since the first charge & the App is sending me messages stating that the battery level is 20% & it needs recharging.
The App is fantastic, we have set it to send us a message if/when the trailer moves more than 1k from its home, this GeoFence works great. In the App you have everything you need to set it up to your requirements. It shows movements, times/dates, speed, routes & route history, location & everything else you could want. When you click on your TAG you can view by using different maps, I prefer Google Maps as you can get a Street View of its location as well as a Satellite view. All of my family have the App on our phones & we have the App on our laptops & you can add as many TAG’s as you like. The App/TAG costs a very small amount for what you get, and less than a lot of others out there too, it’s less than I expected to pay & a lot less hassle than I expected if I had gone down the sort my own SIM & App out route. The first time we travelled with the trailer outside the GeoFence it traced it fine but it didn’t send us an alert, I emailed when I got to where I was going, as it was on the weekend I didn’t expect to hear back until the following Monday or Tuesday to get an answer for my question. I actually had a reply within the hour, the reply was very helpful & sorted the issue easily (my fault at set up), I asked their rep a few other questions & received prompt & helpful replies, the after sales service is great, even the App itself has had updates.

I am/was looking at adding a off shoot to one of the live connections into the trailer and running a charge cable to the TAG to give a constant trickle charge when it’s being used to reduce the number charge but to be honest – it’s looking like one charge for our usage is going to last at least 60 days I don’t think I can be bothered.

I would 100% recommend this TAG, it is absolutely perfect for us & our requirements & it does everything it says it will do & it does it very well indeed. The value for money is spot on.

Simple Device that does the job well
Bought this tracker as I noted that making a connection to the car battery was not the easiest access in my car and both purchase price and subscription cost were clear and competitive. The device is simple and easy to conceal within the vehicle with a strong magnet to attach it to any metal surface.

Battery life was a concern, but so far after 1 month I have only re-charged the battery once and even then it was showing just below 50%. Note: I don’t use the vehicle loads so this may be different with lots of use. The app is simple to download and setup. The ‘History’ shows any movement while the battery level can also be checked via the app.

On the downside is the USB charge lead has a specifically long blade to reach into the socket so you do have to use the lead supplied for charging. Don’t lose it! Also, the small cover over the charge socket would better hinged so you don’t risk losing it while its charging.

Great tech support is a real positive – I had a question during the initial use and got an almost immediate response from tech support which solved the issue for me.

After just over a month of ownership I am happy to recommend giving this a try if a simple to use tracker is what you are looking for.

The SafeTag Mag tracker has been brilliant, it works well, it’s accurate and alerts you when the vehicle moves/stops and provides a history of journeys taken. It’s easy to set up and use, the app is good and if you have any issues then customer services are there when you need them and are very helpful. Battery life so far is really good but I guess it depends on how often the vehicle is in motion. All in all for price, accuracy and customer service it can’t be beaten.

I’m really happy with this little tracker, i’ve found it lasts about a month with me driving around about 2 hours a day. The tracking accuracy on the app is great, and the notifications to my phone are very handy. No complaints.
