Nice quality USB lighter this is nothing fancy and nor does it need to be but it does look good a simple sleek design.

Comes with a Micro USB to USB-A cable to charge the device its not a very long cable but as I will only be using this now and again this is not that big of a deal for me.

Has a safety button on the ignition switch so no accidentally turning this on which is a nice touch.

I have used this on candles, fireworks and the gas stove and can confirm it works but with the gas stove you want to angle it correctly and move it out of the way fast once lighted so you don’t fry the plastic end.

Overall I am happy with the USB lighter and it is a good price.

This is a nifty little device that works perfectly as intended.
No need for matches or gas refills. This electric stick is recharged via a Micro USB lead.
It’s super easy to use, at the press of a button (with an integrated safety lock) two little prongs pop out of the end and emit an arc of electricity which ignites a spark. This can be used to light candle wicks, stoves, BBQ’s, sparklers and many other things.
As there is no actual flame, it is wind resistant so will enable easy lighting outdoors or in windy conditions.

Easier to use than matches or lighters!

It was time to order more lighters – I burn a lot of candles. This caught my eye and I decided to try it. It works great! Unlike a regular propane type lighter, this doesn’t produce a flame. It creates a spark between the two prongs and it’s enough to light the candle. I haven’t had it long enough to charge it and try again but I’m impressed and pleased with this product.

A lightweight, easy to use and well made candle lighter. It’s robust but compact and very easy to control.
Slender and quite long which makes it easier to reach candles that are a little further away, it is nicely made and a usb charging cable was included.

Really love this electric lighter, it is pretty long ,
I love that you can see how much battery life is left .
I like that it is so long as sometimes is hard to burn the candle what is in the glass so this really changed my life as one time i really burned my finger while trying to burn the candle with the regular lighte

This is mist have for everyone who loves candles

Really delighted with this USB lighter. Small and lightweight, and quickly and easily charged with the short USB lead provided. I’ve had it with gas refill lighters and tend to use matches to light candles. Unfortunately some matches extinguish before you’ve even used them, and they’re always too short, leading to scorched fingers and nails. So this is a very welcome alternative. It’s windproof too. Super clever and safe too with its safe lock mechanism. Brilliant.

Comes with a USB cable and is very easy to charge.

Arrived fully charged, with lights to show charge level.

Switch has a safety button, pressing it in and the switch forwards makes the retractable end emerge and the plasma flame ignite.

Very good for lighting BBQs and candles which is what I will use it for. Should be good for wood burners and nice not to have to worry about having any gas in the house.

    More convenient than gas.

Lighting candles works, lighting the gas works and lighting something like a sparkler (firework)works after a while – so for most things it is fine. As it is called a candle lighter and it does that fine, then I am happy.

The small ignition point at the end is small and I mean smaller than I would have expected, however, this seems to be how it works best, using less power to create the spark needed to light the candle. I have used this several times now and it has not let me down.

Big fan of this USB charged “arc” style of candle lighter. It is well made, lightweight and very easy to charge via USB. It has a safety switch so it can’t be accidently activated, with a clear charge light display so you know how much charge is left, the length is good for short or long candles and is a very safe way to light the flame with the arc style. Very impressed with the quality and pricing of this product.

    Perfect for the job

I’d been thinking of getting one of these for a while, because the faff of using a gas lighter or matches was putting me off from lighting candles, especially in half-used glass jar candles where the wick is halfway down and it’s tricky to reach in without touching the flame. I hoped this would be the quick and simple solution, and it is.

Triggering the spark requires a deliberate simultaneous press-and-push, which on the very first go seems a bit complicated, but quickly becomes intuitive once you’ve done it a dozen times. It’s a good safety feature- it wouldn’t stop my kids from being able to work out how to use it if they really wanted to, but it’s definitely enough to stop it from sparking accidentally when you don’t want it to. It also means you can leave it on a mantelpiece or similar without feeling like you’ve created a safety risk- though the hook on the end gives you other options there as well.

It take a couple of goes to work out where the spark really happens. On a fairly chunky plastic cylinder, the span of the electric spark is quite small, and you need to aim it well in order to set a wick alight. It also takes a few goes and a few clicks to get a wick going, just one click won’t do it- and the incessant clicking does remind me of that worrying moment when trying to light a gas hob, and you’re wondering why it’s not lighting and whether there’s so much unlit gas now that it’s getting dangerous, and so on. But of course the clicking is nothing to do with gas, so you can keep clicking it as much as you like until it lights.

It’s not the most aesthetically pleasing of devices, in plain black plastic with slightly ugly branding. But it works well, it’s practical and quick, and if you find yourself lighting a lot of candles, this is undoubtedly a time-saver.

This is a great alternative to using a fuel powered traditional lighter. I always either run out of fuel to fill my candle lighters or end up buying new ones altogether which is a terrible waste. This one requires no fuel, just a simple charge via USB (supplied) and runs off battery power. It’s great for candles, BBQ’s, lighting gas hobs, you name it.

Mine came almost fully charged (just one bar off 100%) and took barely half an hour to charge up to the maximum battery power. It’s simple to use and the switch is child-safe – it requires a classic dual press and push switch to operate which isn’t easy to slide up and does take a bit of thumb strength to engage, making it safe around younger children.

Overall, a great alternative to a gas lighter or to traditional flames and the reusable/rechargeable aspect of it makes it far less wasteful.

No more burning your fingers to reach the wick
Why didn’t I get one years ago

    Fast charger, long life
    Lightweight yet sturdy
It has a great lock on it to prevent children being able to activate the flame, superb setting
    Excellent materials looks very sophisticated
    Superb value for the money

At the time of this review you can get this arc lighter for around 10.
Mat the time of review this all seems very promising.
This lighter seems well built in the hand.
A short charging cable is provided usbA to micro usb.
The charging port is exposed on the lighter but I don’t see that as a big issue.
The arc light hisses like a gas lighter.
It’s very good at lighting the candles I have shown in the video.
You can see the battery charge available when you press the switch to light the arc as there is a series of blue LEDs
No more messy refilling of gas into the lighters
This is a winner from me. I hope you find the video and review helpful

Was sick and tired of having to buy gas refills for my candle lighter so this seemed like a no brainer with it being rechargeable.

It does indeed make lightwork of candle wicks and lights in mere seconds!

Feels solid and sturdy in the hand.

I do have some minor issues however, hence the 4 star rating.

1st. Micro USB charging in 2023 is kind of ridiculous. Would it have really been that hard to have it as USB-C? It’s an ancient cable and I’m very surprised it’s still being used here.

2nd. Might just be my ears but when it’s lit it emits a very high frequency that seriously irritates my hearing. Obviously it’s only on for seconds while I light the candle but still, it’s not particularly pleasent.

This issues aside, it’s a solid item and does it’s job well. I’m glad I’ll always have a lighter on hand now the next time my gas one runs dry. 4*!

    Micro USB in 2023?
