I was expecting a full size leaf blower so you can imagine my surprise when this small box arrived. Not to be discouraged, I eagerly opened the box with much curiosity.
The main unit could easily be mistaken for a genuine Makita tool due to it’s colour and solid feel. All the included attachments feel solid and of good quality. I fitted the batteries that I have (incidentally, they are the same brand as the blower) and was impressed with the power of such a small blower.
I wouldn’t personally suggest the use of this as a leaf blower due to it’s small size, although it would still do the job of a smaller area. However, it really is a handy blower for many other uses around the home and work environment. It’s easy to hold and swing around into various nooks and crannies, with plenty of oomph. If you work in an environment where you need to clear dust etc then this is definitely a good tool to use.
    Battery is not included

This is nice and light and easy to use. It does state battery is not included so do bear. that in mind. It does come with attachments for different purpose. It has great power and overall is well made and does each task very well. I use it to blow away the leaves in my garden to the side and also for hoovering my car which works well as its cordless.

his is a cordless leaf blower and vacuum, it came in bare unit, it needs makita 18v battery to work, it’s a nice budget leaf blower when you already got the makita battery for it

there are a few accessories included, blower nozzle and vacuum nozzles, also hose and a dust collection bag

it’s intuitive to use, blower and vacuum function are straightforward, parts are easy to assemble

although it’s compact and lightweight, it got good power to blow and gather dry leaves, it’s much more easy to control than my large corded leaf blower, there is extra accessories to make it a vacuum, well honestly i’m not so sure as its design is not really fit for vacuum purpose, anyway it’s perfectly fit to be a 100% cordless leaf blower

all in all, i’m very satisfied with this product, would recommend

For many years we’ve always talked about getting a leaf blower as we have several trees and bushes that shed their leaves in the autumn and although you can rake them being able to blow them into a pile first to then be able to sweep and collect up makes life easier.

Firstly remember this doesn’t come with a battery pack so you can either buy one separately or use others that you might have. I tried it with a power pack from a drill, although it worked I strongly recommend buying the branded one. Which in the long run you’d probably be better off buying a better brand that comes with the battery and also has more power. However, taking that out of the equation it’s fairly useful, this won’t work on wet leaves but it does blow away cobwebs in the garage. It would also work well for blowing into a pile weeds you’d been weeding on a driveway or patio. The downside to this is no battery, but you can buy one separately it depends really what you want this for.

This waitley cordless leaf blower is smaller than I thought it would be but still quite powerful!

Great for getting rid of all of the leaves in my front garden. It comes with a hose and a variety of nozzles! It also comes with a small collection bag!!

It doubles up as a handy little vacuum cleaner, perfect for cleaning the seats of my car!

It doesn’t come with a battery and requires a makita 18v battery!

Overall pretty happy with this blowe

Waitley Cordless Leaf Blower for Makita 18v Battery for Lawn Care Leaf Blowing, Car, Corner Dust Clearing
    Brand: Waitley

This small blower / vacuum is powered by an 18v Makita battery available separately. Whilst it headlines as a leaf blower it’s not that suited to move clumps of wet leaves etc. you find in the garden. It is however fine to blow with dry leaves and dust and dry dirt into piles in the garden.

The device has several tools included, and if you adjust the tube and connect the dust bag it can also be used as a hoover. No, it’s not as good as a bespoke designed vacuum but it is only under 30 UKP.

In the garage I found it really handy for blasting the workbench and table of dust and metal shavings etc. and also using it as a brushless broom.

I like the fact that it is quite light, not that large and is easily handled. Some more powerful blowers can become quite heavy to wield after a while

This leaf blower-dust hoover is like a mini typhoon for it’s size, the blowing power is fantastic. It came well packed with a straight solid pipe to be used for leaf blowing which just pushes onto the front and twisted to lock on, it also comes with a flexi pipe, filter sock and plastic connectors and hoover head for hoovering up dust and small particles, just place the connectors and flexi pipe on the side of the blower and the sock on the front instead of the solid straight pipe used for leaf blowing. It’s not the quietest blower but when you feel the power you can understand why, it’s nicely made and feels chunky in the hand but can be used for leaf blowing with the one hand easily, whilst hoovering you will need both hands. The batteries it’s made for fit perfectly and lasted well after doing my caravan decking which is a large size. If you have the correct batteries then this is amazing value for money and a great size to store away.

    Plenty of wind powe

I wanted a cordless leaf blower to blow the leaves and general crap out of the many nooks and crannies of my garage workshop. I also wanted a bare item that is compatible with my Makita batteries. This thing ticks both boxes AND is a very powerful vacuum cleaner when used with the hose and accessories supplied. Yes, the bag is small but it’s plenty for my VW van and our car, so no more faffing around with cables for me.

If I wanted to be super-picky I’d want a longer blower tube, but I’m 6’2″; for the vast majority of people this will be fine.

Item appears well made and comes in Makita teal blue to match the rest of my kit.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a great blower that works by you connecting your battery pack from your Makita. I have actually tried this with other brand battery packs and it does work, but it doesn’t fit securely so you just need to take a bit more care that the battery pack doesn’t fall out.

The blower is light to use, fairly compact and packs a surprising punch. It works well for leaves and also just general blowing that you could need to do in your home or car.

Great alternative to purchasing an expensive leaf blower.

This is a great blower for the price. It fits the Makita battery so if you have any of those tools in your house you will be ready to go. My son uses Makita so he was able to try this straight away. He probably won’t use on leaves but just clearing up after himself after sawing drilling etc.
It seems quite powerful and even vacuums as well although the bag is quite small so more for dust.
    Highly recommended.

So the box this came in was a lot smaller than I was expecting. Really this is not that much bigger than a cordless drill. And don’t forget this doesn’t come with any batteries.

I have Bosch professional tools, and I always though the batteries were the same as Makita, but the top is slightly different, so the battery does allow the blower to work, but the battery does not slide in the full distance so can fall off, luckily gravity will keep it in place.

Anyway, moving on from the battery, there are plenty of nozzles in the box so options for different tasks.

The power is quite good, a lot better than I was expecting for the size. However if isn’t powerful enough to shift a pile of wet leaves. It will just tickle them and they will refuse to budge. General dry leaves will move but if there is any wind you will be fighting to get them off the driveway.

All in all you get what you pay for so this will be good enough for light use, but if you want to clear a big area then you should look elsewhere.

At first sight I was surprised how small this leaf blower is and as such I was not expecting much at all in the way of performance. I was wrong. This unit cannot match the power of the bigger beasts but where it does come into its own is that it is easy set up and ideal for smaller jobs.

Used on the grass in fairly damp conditions this Waitley did not perform very well. That is not surprising as wet leaves are a challenge for lots of blowers and a rough surface like grass does not help.

Where it did well was blowing leaves off a smoother surface like tarmac or block paving. here it did quite well but not for large jobs as the airflow would mean it would maybe take too long. Small gardens or smaller jobs I would buy one without hesitation.

As for the other functions. The collection bag is ridiculously small for garden use. Maybe for vacuuming the car but I have no interest in using it as a vacuum cleaner.

For me who already has LXT batteries, which fit this blower, the price is about right. However, if you do not have the compatible battery I would think twice. Genuine LXTs are very expensive.

I am really pleased with this small, lightweight, easy to store leaf blower at a reasonable price.

    Small and lightweigh

Arrived in perfect timing ready to do the final gardening session of the season. This item is a plug and play battery item and actually has sums umpth behind it! It simply draws air in then you can angle into all positions to get corners, or main large area reaches. Fairly weightless so can be used both most people. Seems to be going well and does not get through the battery too quickly. Perfect new tool for the garden and will be really handy next year! Also comes with a selection of heads for use around the house and office too.

Pefect fit using 18v 5ah Makita batteries,
The 5 ah battery easily lasted long enough for me to blow leaves into piles for bagging up.
Overall it is very light and made well with the blower being the better function.
Does come with various attachments for sucking up leaves, however this may become tedious as opening and bag are quite small.

    Just what i needed

You must buy the batteries separately if you don’t already own a Makita or compatible battery. I have a Makita drill so already had the battery so this blower was perfect for me. It’s a great price too at under 30.
I tried it on wet leaves and it still did a good job at blowing them into a pile.. but would perform even better on dry leaves and debris.
I have tried more powerful leaf blowers but they are much more expensive or corded.
In my view Makita battery performance is better than most and easily replaced so better than an unknown brand blower that come with a battery but may be difficult to source if battery fails. Can be used as a vac for small debris too.
Overall a Great buy especially if you already own the batteries.

Great blower if you have the batteries

This is very good, compact and easy to assemble. And like that this came with a couple of attachments and can be used as a vacuum. Good price and makes it good value for your money.

    “Compact and good quality!”
