Bought this to replace my old faithful 14 yr old oversized gel saddle which has served me well.
This saddle is half the size but after reading the reviews I decided to take a chance. How pleased to discover it is actually more comfortable and looks far sleeker.
Already done 2 x 90min non stop rides with not even a niggle.

Well what a nice surprise! I was testing this seat in order to review it but of course, you never know if it will be great or just good or whatever. I am so happy with the way this seat has surprised me… it is incredible.
This seat has all the comfort of a much wider, more padded seat but it is thin enough to provide maximum assistance for long rides. It fits between the legs really well and does not rub and at the same time it has a really firm yet really soft cushioning. The seat is fully waterproof and looks great, it is easy to fit too.
Considering the size of this seat, I was surprised at just how comfortable it is. It’s not much bigger than my original, very hard, seat so it doesn’t look ridiculous like some of the huge seats you can get for comfort, making it a good looking exchange. I’ve only used it for a 30 minute cycle, but I noticed the difference immediately. There was no discomfort at all. And with no suspension on my bike, I also noticed the slight spring in this seat, increasing the comfort.
It was easy to swap the seats out, the seat comes with the tools you need. Together with extras you didn’t know you needed like a bag to carry it in should you want to remove it in dodgy areas, and a cover to protect it from the elements!
Overall, a good padded seat for the money. I’m tempted to get another for my spin bike!
Fitted this to our nephew’s bike last weekend. It was a doddle to fit and took me no more than about ten minutes. He was very please indeed. He reports that the saddle is extremly comfortable…firm and supportive but with just enough “give” not to become uncomfortable. He also commented that he doesn’t slip around on it anything like as much as his previous saddle. He’s been usiung it pretty much daily of the past week and feels its the best saddle he’s ever sat on.
My hubby loves it, it matches next to his bike color and is very comfortable for him to drive. For me personally its bit too small and uncomfortable.
Well made saddle, low profile and light weight, not too different from the original but with much more cushioning (without looking like a giant clunky seat as many of the comfort seat are). I took it out on the trails (needed assistance to take off the old seat! I only go on the baby trails) And went on easily and as I am getting on a bit now, comfort is much more important (although not at the beige sandals stage yet, so want things to still look good), this is a great option, its not a miracle worker, its still a bike seat but at 29.99 is worth it for more comfort than the solid original while not looking out of place (if it was green striped, no one would know!)
My old saddle was HARD! T.his saddle is noticeably more comfortable. Softer and yet modestly padded. It is a ‘middle of the road’ design to my mind. I do own a much softer saddle but it takes a certain disdain towards the glances of others to go about with a very padded one. This is sufficiently serious and yet not masochistic, IMHO.
The saddle comes with a clamp already gripping the rails underneath. In my case and I suspect most peoples experience this clamp will be superfluous. Some might need it though. The rails are a standard 7mm and fitted into my seat post clamps perfectly. I think the forwards and backwards adjustment possible on this saddle is quite limited. Not extremely so though (see pic). The total length of ‘useable’ rail is approximately 7cm.
I’m quite impressed with the quality of the workmanship. The design seems good and nothing about it makes me raise a sceptical eyebrow. That may not be a scientific test but hey. I have wondered if the front of the saddle looked a bit broad but it doesn’t rub between my thighs at all (see pic).
Hi, I wanted a wider seat as my other was a bit uncomfortable, this is wider and a lot better, definitely more comfortable so all good 🙂
Update…. I finally managed to get my old seat off the bike and I’ve added photos of this seat fitted. It fits on easily and after trying it out on a ride it’s very comfortable.
This seat is a good quality one and I am gutted I haven’t managed to fit it to my bike yet.
The reason is not a problem with the seat itself but I can’t get the seat on my bike off – the bolt has been over torqued and my hand tools aren’t enough to loosen the grip.
I’m waiting for a mate to being his electric tools to try and get the bolt undone.
In the mean time I need to review this bike seat so I’ll have to do it without the finished photos of the seat fitted to my bike – which I wanted to show you.
The seat itself is really nice. It’s well padded with sturdy metal fittings.
It comes with the metal fitting (in the photo) attached to the seat but I removed it ( it’s easy enough to take off) as my bike is a straight forward fitting bar to bracket
It’s the right size for my bike and it will fit when I can get my seat off.
It also comes with a waterproof seat cover which is always handy to protect your seat and clothes from getting wet on rainy days. Not much worse than having to sit on a wet seat.
There’s also a mesh carry bag for the seat if you want to remove it and take it with you for security reasons when parking your bike up.
It comes with the tools necessary to fix it in and they’re reasonable quality tools too. It’s so easy to install.
All in all its a great bike seat and definitely worth it’s price. I just wish I could get my current bike seat off.
However I will update this review with a pic of it on my bike when it’s finally on if I ever get the other seat bolt out.
All in all a good quality seat for the price
This YOUNGDO bike seat arrived wrapped in the plastic bag with all the tools needed to mount it and the rain cover.
This slender bicycle saddle looks and feels of a decent quality, sturdy and durable.
PU leather is quite soft and flexible, so shouldn’t be prone to damages.
It has a nice shape and design, even colours – blue accents are matching my hybrid bicycle.
The measurements are exactly as per listing description.
Saddle was very easy to mount, it was a fast swap with my old saddle.
It is quite comfortable, soft with good support.
My bicycle again looks like new – my old saddle had a hole.
Overall it is a nice, well made saddle, not the cheapest one available (29.99) but very comfortable.
If the price isn’t an issue I would happily recommend it.
As this bike sea is a great upgrade to the bike in my case, so from my perspective it is a great value for the money 😉
It was easy to install as all the necessary tools are provided in its package.
It provides comfort, as there is no more wet spot on my back bottom ;D as it is breathable and because the created hole in the middle of it.
… and even on a rainy day, after just wiping the seat I can ride dryly ;0
Good quality, comfy bike seat replacing my stock bike seat, comes with instructions, tools, a bag and rain cover. Was super easy to replace my old seat i just had to unscrew the old one and put on the new one and is easy to adjust. A lot more comfortable and bigger than my previous seat and the materials feel a lot nicer.
I would recommend this bike seat as it is very comfortable, feels very good quality and super easy to install.
Absolutely cannot fault it, slim enough to not look bulky like lots do, this is very in keeping with the mountain/road bike type look and size but also has amazing comfort and breathability, fitting was simple and overall I’m well happy with it, it’s actually better than the battered giant seat it is replacing so get my vote of confidence, really good seat that is well made and good value.
My bike came stock with a very hard old plastic seat.
After using htis bike for 2 months i most definitaly made the decssion to start looking for a new seat.
This seat is a gel type seat and most defiantly caught my attention at the price point.
It is a quality made and does not feel cheap. All the tools I needed for install came with the seat.
Removing my old seat and installing took me about 5 minutes and was very straight forward.
Performance of the seat when riding was great. Very comfortable and the gel conformed to how I sat on the bike.
The seat is over all good quality and worth the price. As a bonus the seat also comes with a cover to protect it from then elements when parked.
I was after something to add a bit of extra comfort to my bike and extend my riding time, so this seemed ideal.
It’s easy to install after removing the old seat and comes with a spanner and Alan key to help.
The seat itself is cushioned, comfortable, breathable and offers a good amount of grip. It’s narrower than some of the other seats I’ve tried in the past, which is my personal preference.
All in all, it’s a good, comfortable seat which has helped extend my rides and at 29.99, which was the price at time of writing, it’s OK value. There’s also a 6 voucher on offer currently too.

Very comfortable saddle with lots of padding that makes the journey pleasant. I have only ridden on it for 1 hour max but felt no pain afterwards like the original saddle. Easy to fit and was supplied with a spanner and Allen key. Looks great and well priced.
I’ve fitted this saddle on a Brompton.
It was reasonably easy to fit, though the instructions could definitely have been a bit clearer.
Once fitted, the notches in the saddle bracket (sorry, don’t know technical term) allow the angle to be easily adjusted. You then retighten the bolts to ensure the saddle doesn’t move while cycling.
The grip under the saddle is also comfy to hold – a key concern for Brompton users. This is thanks to a small plastic cover under the front of the saddle.
Overall, very happy with this.
I converted my MTB to an E bike and now spend more time in the saddle as it has the power to get me up some very steep hills without me having to stand up and use muscle power, my original saddle was narrower and not much padding I swapped that for another which did have more padding but was a similar width and I still found I was getting pressure where I don’t need it, enter this saddle from Youngdo which is wider and feels like it also has a greater depth of padding.
The saddle comes with the old style seat post bracket which I don’t need so I took that off and just fitted to my post which has a built in clamp.
So fitted it looks ok, I like the blue bits which go with my bike being blue, sitting on it it felt quite comfortable but still no softer than my old one which surprised me as it looks thicker, I went out and did nearly 40 miles over mixed terrain and comfort wise yes it was good mainly due to it being wider and covering the pressure points the other did not, I like the slot which not only helps cooling but also takes pressure off the artery that needs to be kept in good condition and not crushed liked on a standard hard saddle, the grippy panels stop slippage so all in all quite a good saddle.
Great seat for my bum, I found it to be very comfortable and easy to install, used my own tools to fit as the spanner felt a little loose. down side would be the price should be a little cheape
This is an excellent saddle. I ride a Trek road bike at the moment, and I was using the original saddle (read: small bar of steel), with a gel cover, but it was extremely uncomfortable. I’d say this saddle has eliminated at least 80% of that discomfort, which means I can just cycle and relax, whereas before, I was constantly concentrating on my comfort, and unable to just enjoy myself.
If you have the type of hold that has to slide between the two thin bars on the underside of the saddle, then you have to remove some of the components from it with the supplied tools (easy enough), as it fits both types. The instructions are not at all helpful, but it will fit —you just have to figure out how if you’re not used to it.
It’s VERY worth it though, really excellent saddle.
Changed over my Son’s bike seat to this one and he loves it. With high density sponge and silicone it makes for a comfortable seat. It has a honeycomb design which helps prevent slipping and a hollow centre so its breathable, no more sweaty butt cracks. It also has a little reflective design on the back so helps you be seen. The seat was easily fit with the included tools albeit not great quality
I had been using a larger seat with built in springs prior to using this one but decided to give this one a try as I liked the way it looked.
My bike is a cheap framed DIY E-Bike so naturally, it’s not the most comfortable of bicycles due to the cheaper suspension it has fitted. Though this seat doesn’t have springs on the back of it, it’s still quite comfortable, not quite as comfortable as my previous one but far more comfortable than the one that originally came with the bike.
Overall I’m happy with this seat, it’s a good balance of looks, comfort and quality while still maintaining a good amount of value for money. Recommended

This is the YOUNGDO Bike Seat Slender Padded, Universal Fitting with Rain Cover In Black / Blue.
We all have bikes, and some of the standard saddles are horrid and after a long ride your bottom hurts. If you are not using pads on your shorts, then these gel seats are essential. Or you will suffer! These really are a godsend, as they simply fit on the existing seat attachment pole. The soft silicone gel ‘n foam is simply delightful, and the slender design makes it look good and not like one of them big seat saddles. It has air ventilation down the length and a reflective blingly strip at the rear.
I fully recommend this saddle for anyone who wants a more comfortable ride whilst out and doesn’t want the embarrassment of the big fat seats.
Ordered this as my bike seat had lost padding and was getting uncomfortable! This seat was very easy to install (with instructions included) and made such a difference to my bike ride! Highly recommend
This seat is very nicely padded without looking like some of the larger style ‘comfort’ seats you can find nowadays.
It is well sculpted and was extremely easy to fit to my bike using the tools provided (not the greatest quality tools but perfectly adequate for this task), and it certainly does not look out of place.
I have found that on my shortish rides of around 20 miles that this seat does make my journeys much more comfortable than my older, less well padded seat, so it will be staying on my bike for now.
Definitely worth a try and I recommend it if you need a little more help with rear end comfort.
My racer road bike has a hard narrow seat and I often find is uncomfortable after a short period of cycling. I needed a different type and comfortable seat and this one caught my attention.
This gel seat is so soft and comfortable and the design looks good. It’s rather lightweight and the materials used is durable and not so easy to split or wear. This product comes with a decent spanner, Allen key, seat cover and bag.
The seat is simple to install via the bolts and I upgraded my seat within 10 mins, and that was taking slow and easy. I aligned the seat before tightening up the bolts. The seat is only slightly wider than my old one and it looks so stylish. The new seat holds well and I was able to cycle for an hour without thinking of discomfort to my backside for once. This seat has a contoured hole which helped aid airflow and did keep things cooler.
The gel seat did not deform and maintained its shape.
Getting on and off the seat was easy and natural.
Very good performance product and the seat cover helps when it’s raining and parked up.
Good value product and I have nothing negative to add.
This bike seat sits between the narrow, road bike style seats and the large padded seats that are on offer. It isn’t too big but still offers more comfort than the narrow seats.
My bike seat was one of the narrower ones and, being on a mountain bike, was very uncomfortable even with wearing padded shorts. This seat is easy to fit with a shaft and a nut on each end and is supplied with a spanner and can be angled.
The seat is well padded and sprung so isn’t jarring when riding over uneven surfaces.

As howling wolf said “I’m built for comfort not speed” I have several bikes, a nice comfy Electra Cruiser bike, that has a very comfy wide saddle, an electric bike that I also recently swapped out it’s supplied saddle with a nice wide saddle, leaving only my road bike with a narrower seat. I have used a really good gel cover on it for a few years now, but was thinking to change the saddle itself, so when I saw this I thought aha!.
Whilst me wider seats are quite comfy, they wouldn’t suit the riding position and style of the road bike, so I needed to keep the seat narrower but wanted to add extra comfort over the gel cover (which while good, does move around a little in use). The cushion for me has a perfect balance of give & firmness, the memory foam interior is super comfy, it makes riding the bike for long periods more comfortable

Took a lot of time to read all reviews on multiple seats, selected this one and after a month I am extremely pleased with my choice.
Use my mountain bike to cycle to work and back along the canal twice per week, 9.5k each way and the seat is extremely comfortable and well constructed. I am 6ft, just under 15st, 34″ waist and it suits my build perfectly.
