I wasn’t entirely sure what this would be like when I ordered it, but thought I’d try. I was pleasantly surprised.
It’s easy to set up – once I’d actually worked out how to fold it (the press stud has to go through the hole before attaching to one of the other clips, depending how wide you want your bowl to be).
I noticed that several other reviewers commented on food sometimes getting stuck in the little grooves. The instructions do recommend having the flat side inside and the grooves on the outside to avoid this problem (see my photos). However this does mean there are two fold flaps inside on each side – more obvious on the taller bowl than the wider ‘plate’.
While washing it, I confirmed it does hold water with no leaks. I haven’t tried eating out of it yet, so I’m not sure whether any small bits of food would get trapped behind the folds – I imagine it should be fine, but I will update my review once I know this point. But it is easy to wash so that shouldn’t be a problem. [EDIT: I haven’t had any problems with food getting stuck in the folds yet. Also I haven’t needed the little brush to clean it].
Meanwhile it slips easily into my bag unfolded (it just fits in a large Ikea ziplock bag, which is handy if I’m not able to clean it until I get home).
I’m now wondering about getting the (more cost-effective) pack of 3 in different colours for the family as well. It could be particularly useful if we have to eat in the car on long journeys.

Loved the way it can do having cereal for breakfast, then be a bowl/plate for dinner. Goes flat to fit in bags easily. Cleans easily. Just amazing!
Went cycling and camping with my son and they were an amazing piece of kit. Wouldn’t go on a trip without them. The teeny brush isn’t necessary. Wash as normal with a sponge, water and washing up liquid.
These are fabulous. They store flat, and take up no space. They are easy to put together and very useful when camping. Would be good in a kitchen where space is a premium
What a clever idea! Ideal for prepping and serving.
Bowls do take up room so having one that folds flat is space saving and practical.

The foldable design makes it great for camping, picnics, and other outdoor activities. It is also great for storing in small spaces or taking with you on the go. It’s very lightweight, yet durable and can be used for both hot and cold foods.
The bowl is deep enough to hold a good amount of food, but not too deep that it is hard to get out. The plate is a great size to hold a full meal and the silicone is non-slip which makes it great for eating with. I highly recommend this product and will definitely be using it very often.

The way it’s flat and then you can fold it – that’s crazy!
There can be folded different shapes and it’s very very well made. Good quality materials and the silicone is pretty thick, I’d say.
It takes a bit to get used to fold it quickly, but after that it is so useful to have it, store it and clean it – everything is much more simple and makes just a lot of sense such pieces in the kitchen!

We are not all blessed with kitchen storage space and serving bowls are space hungry. Therefore, this innovative collapsible bowl is a really attractive option not just for travel but for everyday use as well.
I love foldable/collapsible things and this silicone bowl is great.
It can be converted from a flat 28cm circle to a large shallow bowl or a small deep bowl. The description says it’s a plate and bowl but it’s definitely not plate shaped. It comes with a little cleaning brush to thoroughly clean the folds.
It is made of bendy silicone so you do need to be careful what you put into it and how you carry it. It’s pretty sturdy when it’s constructed but it’s very lightweight so you could easily spill the contents if you carry it wrong or knock it.
For anyone who goes camping, this foldable bowl is a must have. I’m happy to use it in the home for snacks and I really like it.
This is a very unique bowl. Thought this would be ideal whilst camping but tried it at home first. The bowl is relatively quick to build, the instructions are very clear. The bowl can be made two sizes depending on what you want to use it with. It could be used to serve food as well as storing food and it is advertised as being able to hold liquid which I haven’t tried but I guess it can by the way the bowl folds inwards and is closed with the stud buttons.
It is also advertised to be high temperature resistant so I tested it with a microwave to cook rice. I kept an eye on it just in case but it did survive the microwave, there was no damage to the studs or silicone. The silicone was hot but not too hot so it could be handled with no burning hands.
It is relatively easy to clean however with the grooves in the bowls design food can be a bit stuck but the bowl comes with a small brush to help clean it.

These are so good. I did struggle a bit trying to put them together and I can see on my photo that I got one wrong!! But they are lovely and flexible and yet strong enough to carry all manner of food types. I will be using one of them when I go to a restaurant and want to bring home a doggy bag! It can be folded in my handbag and then taken out to fill up. A flash of the eyelids at the waiter to pop a bit of cling film on top and off i go!! A fantastic price too. Highly recommended
Lovely portable silicone plate or bowl with adjustable buttons given on it so that according to your requirement adjust the size of the bowl. Easy to fit in your handbags. Really like it.

A high quality product that works very well. Very impressed by the ingenuity of this product and how easy it is to store after use.
Folding the plate up is easy. The groves moulded into the silicone bend well and the poppers are strong enough to hold everything together. It took me a bit longer than 10 seconds to assemble (as is advertised on the product page) but it was fairly quick to figure out how to put it together.
The silicone also doesn’t smell of anything, as some other silicone products might. It’s high quality food grade and very durable. The only thing I would say is it’s probably a good idea to make sure the silicone is completely dry before putting it away in a cupboard or drawer as it could be a magnet for mould.
At the time of writing the single plate costs 10 which for a new product is about right. You’ll probably want more than one though so the multi pack is probably better value for money. Overall a very good product though for a small home as it does save space when stored or on the go when travelling.
A novel mat that folds up and clips into either a wide sided plate or to a taller bowl. It is made of silicone and so should be easy to clean and relatively light. It also comes with a small brush. Would be useful for picnics, camping or similar. Can also just be used as a container. Handy to have just waiting for suitable uses.
I wouldn’t use this whilst camping as they’re a bit fiddly and time consuming for no reason but for an expedition where you are walking and carrying all your equipment they’re idea. Just one totally flat silicone plates takes up no space in a rucksack and can transform to whatever meal you eat as a plate or dish. For that reason I’d be happy to pay 9.99
I’d never seen one of these before but as soon as I saw it, I could understand the utility of it. I’m not much of a camper but I do go to festivals every year and this will be perfect. It arrives as a sturdy food-grade silicone mat. One side has textured lines across it and the other is smooth, with some poppers and a few holes along the edges. It has three functions in the camp kitchen. The first is that it can be used as it comes for a chopping mat. Do up the edges using one set of poppers and you get a shallow bowl. Use the second (inner) set of poppers and you get a smaller, deeper bowl. There is a diagram included which you’ll only need once, but if I’d had to figure it out on my own I don’t like to think how long I would have taken. Finish your meal and undo the poppers for easy washing. There’s even a little brush included to clean out the grooves. It’s incredibly straightforward and very clever, to the point where I wonder why I haven’t seen these before. They cost 9.99 at time of review and I reckon the convenience makes them well worth it if you do a lot of camping or festivals, or even for picnics where space is at a premium. I have no doubt that when I break this out at festivals next summer, everyone will be asking where I got it.
