The ZAONOOL Cooling Fan for Xbox Series X is efficient and works great. The 13 RGB LED light modes add a cool visual element. The dust filter is a great feature, keeping the console clean. It’s an excellent accessory for ensuring your gaming console stays cool during intense gaming sessions.
My sons Xbox and room by proxy end up so warm when he plays for long periods. This fan has helped so much to keep the Xbox from getting debris in it, as well as to keep the heat moving away from it. The colors are a cool added bonus and are very bright.

I love it! its so bright, that it can easily be used as a night light for a subtle illumination in your bedroom. The fan seems to work great at max speed, and I keep it on all day. The only thing i wish it had was remote control features, either through a hand held remote or a phone app

Works great but is a little louder than I expected when on high. Not bad though unless you’re trying to listen for the bad guy.
Be forewarned! It’s not silent! The lowest setting is very quiet, medium is relatively quiet, but the highest setting is sort of loud. And I love it! Slap that thing into the high power mode and keep your system cool! I’ve been playing Hogwarts Legacy, and with this fan going, it actually runs the Fidelity + Raytracing smoothly.
Color me impressed with this little fan. Easy to use, just set it on top of your system and plug in the little USB cable to the back of the console. Oh! And the LED lighting looks fantastic. 😀 I like the smooth bubbly one best, it’s soothing. But there are multiple settings and brightnesses too.
Please get this. Even if you don’t want RGB, use the fan. It’ll keep your system so much cooler, which is always better for the health of the parts. Take care, y’all!

Fits on top of my xbsx perfectly and cable is the right length to plug into the xb. Fan has good airflow while being quiet(not silent). Multiple light colours to pick from.
Main problem I have with it is you need to turn it on/off. Doesn’t turn on/off with the console.
for me this fan works amazingly, I have used a previous one that was not as good as this. the lights are amazing and it fits on the xbox perfectly. the seller is also very good at answering any queries. very happy
This does exactly what it says it will and to a high standard too. Fits well and love the rgb lights and accessories holders etc .keeps the console super cool and therefore play and speed is better as will be the lifetime of the console. Nice and quie
Not only does it make my set up look a lot better it actually helps the console. The fan has different speeds and it is not load whatsoever. The lights also have brightness levels and you can choose your color or have a shuffle of them all. Only bad thing about it is that you have to manually turn it in on and off, not to much of an issue but it might be for some. Overall it is a great addition to my console.
This is a super awesome addition to my Xbox Series X! I love having the cover over the original fan as well as having the additional fan and the lights. So even when the fan is off, the dust in the house ends up on the cover not on the xbox fan itself.
When the Xbox is on with the fan on, it is so much cooler now than it was before this fan. The light is such a fun addition to the Xbox! I love that you can cycle the colors and choose to have the light off as well.
Fan works well to help cool off console. The RGB lights are nice and bright, looks cool in a dark room, goes well with my stand that has RGB as well. Comes with hangers to hang headphones, controllers off top of console. I don’t use them, I don’t like anything extra on my console other than the fan. But they are included if you want to use them. I don’t use the filters either, I want the fan to be unobstructed. Very happy with this fan.
Got this for son’s Xbox. This moves the previous hot air up and away from the unit which helps keep the room cooler than before. The hooks weren’t useful for his application as he has a different headphone holder, but they are sturdy and very useful if you don’t have a separate place to hang your headphones or controllers.
I really got this to have somewhere to put my controllers besides “all over the room”. Works great for that purpose. The fan/RGB lights are nice as well and I actually appreciate that the dust buildup on the top of the Xbox is mostly mitigated. Not a fan of RGB lights and more lights is about the last thing my gaming room needs but hey it’s there if you like it.
This fan/light literally just sets on top of your Xbox. It couldn’t be any easier to install. The cord is short but it’s long enough to run the fan so I’m not sure why it seems to be an issue that keeps getting mentioned. 3 fan speeds, 3 brightness adjustments and a handful of colors to choose from. While I’m not going to do testing to see how much cooler it makes my Xbox I’m sure anything has to help some. The lights are a nice touch although more of a novelty item at least for me. The fan really isn’t that loud unless you have it going full blast which at least to me seems normal. It’s really hard to judge value here as there’s a lot of pretty well thought out and precise parts. It’s on sale at the moment for $30 which I would expect to pay. For what it is and if you’re looking for some extra cooling piece of mind I don’t have any problem recommending this product.
This product fits very well on top of the Xbox Series X. It adds a nice lighting to the perimeter of the fan enclosure. The lights are adjustable in three intensity levels, multiple colors, and function (solid or cycling/pulsing).
The fan acts as a heat extractor, pulling hot air out of the top of the console, and I can definitely confirm that it does indeed reduce the operating temperature of the console on medium and high settings. This added cooling capability should extend the life and performance of the console.
My only reason for a 4/5 star review is that portions of the casing of the fan are flexible and have required some repositioning/flexing during placement to avoid the fan from coming into contact with the internal features when on. However, once placed appropriately and remedied the issue is temporary, and ultimately avoidable as you shouldn’t need to remove it once in place.
Update: the manufacturer reached out and sent an upgraded replacement due to the fan failing due to the aforementioned contact.
Pros: quite, even on the highest setting.
The hooks for nicely into the holes, and are sturdy and generously sized. The headset did not leave a “hook dent or mark” like other headset holders.
The controls have three spreads for the fan, three levels for brightness, solid or slow cycling several color options (RGB LEDs)
Cons: Dust filter; does not appear to be anything more than molded plastic without any apparent way to remove our clean?
If there is a removable filter, I did not receive it, and this is the company’s opportunity to make it right.
Power supply; short usb-usb-c power supply, which limits fan orientation so that the power inlet is in the rear and the controls are on the right side of the box.
Colors; difficult to switch from some colors.
Controls: capacitive touch type, can be altered easily if bumped or brushed against.
Overall a pretty nice unit for what it is. Nice to give my XBox some additional cooling and storage.
This unit was easy install. It snapped on and plugged in.
I subtracted one star because the directions and product information left a lot to be desired. The product information doesn’t state whether or not this fan will kick on by itself. I have found that it seems to as after using the XBox for a few hours once I stopped gaming the fan kicked on. Additionally, I have come into the room where the Xbox resides and found the fan running, I’m assuming something on the Xbox updated and that’s what caused the fan to kick on.
There are multiple light settings including no light. You do have the ability to turn the fan on manually.
I would recommend this fan for keeping your Xbox cool.
Sits on the top of the Series X and circulates the heat away from the console. Has easy to use touch controls for the vibrant lights. One thing to keep in mind is that you must manually turn off the unit using the touch controls each time you want it to turn off. Other than that, it looks incredible, almost O.E.M. and makes a stunning edition to a console that has a peculiar look compared to previous editions.
It is rather quiet, the lights are distracting, the headphone holders are okay. It’s a nice fan all around, uses very little power, really easy to install, simply place it on top of the device, plug it in to the console, and it’s ready to use. Instructions are easy to follow and the memory feature is nice. I did trim the headphone holders attachment pegs down so I could place them in different areas, it would be nice if the attachment holes were deeper all the way around the outside instead of only in a few spots.
Following some personal testing, I discovered that this fan is consistently effective at lowering the temperature of your system by around 10 degrees Celsius.It’s got a nice, mostly closed design that will keep dust out while still keeping airflow high.
My only issue is that the fan on the lowest setting will make a high-pitched ring that will only go away by turning up the fan speed. This is a problem for me because when I’d like to use the more quiet mode and reduce the fan noise, a far more annoying noise is introduced instead. I don’t mind the fan noise on medium or high, but it is definitely noticeable.
If you’re looking for a silent fan, look elsewhere, but if you’re looking for a solid, effective fan and don’t mind a bit of white noise, this is a very effective option.
I really like this fan and was very excited to receive it! The colors just makes the Xbox “pop” with liveliness. This was very easy to install (just popped right on) and the hooks/accessory hangers were such a nice addition to make everything look tidy and neat. I had read that the fans were slightly loud but in my opinion (and you can hear in the video) they are barely audible when picked up by my camera even in close shots. I’m pretty sure my humidifier is louder. The sounds of the Xbox games or headphones will drown it out anyways so really I didn’t find it at all distracting or a nuisance.
The only thing (and I know it is repetitive on other comments) is the USB plug having to be removed every time you want to shut the fans off. I think it would be perfect if it had a push button to cut off the power supply.
As is, it works great for the value and I would rather have to manually unplug it (since I’m already at the console putting away the controller on the hook) rather than having my very expensive Xbox machine overheat from repeated use! So it gets a thumbs up from me (but wish the company design engineers would seriously consider another way to power the fan down for convenience sakes).
Looks good. Has 3 fan speeds, and even at the lowest speed it can hold (suck up) a small (5″x7″) piece of paper. The hi speed is quite strong, and not loud at all, low speed can barely be heard.
Has multiple static color lights with 3 brightness levels, and a dynamic color changing mode.
Importantly…the fan CAN be turned OFF completely, as can the lighting, without disconnecting the cable from the Xbox. The lights work independently from the fan.
The ‘filter’ is not really a filter, but a mesh…may be useful in preventing small item from falling into the top of the device.
The only thing that may be an issue, is that the 3 little control buttons are very hard to see if the unit is off because they just blend into the black color plastic.

The Series X can get a bit too hot when used for many hours continuously. That’s where this fan comes in, it’ll keep your console nice and cool, ensuring that it doesn’t thermal throttle its performance and in theory it’ll help protect the lifespan of the console too.
It looks really cool (pun intended) with the RGB lighting and I liked the addition of the hangers for controllers and headphones.
The fan is pretty quiet, but not silent. You probably won’t hear it when you have games playing anyway.
This is a must have for you’re Xbox trust me it make the heat flow much faster from the Xbox, but I wish the connection was on the back because they provide you with a very short type-c connection that goes to the back of the console! Other than that that’s the only issue I can consider aesthetic, if they bring this in the future i will buy it again!
My family loves playing XBox games. I can see what a working horse our console is and I understand that you need something to cool it down when it’s being in use for hours on end.
We’ve introduced this cooling fan and used it for a couple of days now.
The light doesn’t disturb and it doesn’t make too loud noises. The volume of games is much louder.
It does cool down the xbox so we don’t need go be scared of if being damaged.

Great little fan that’s functional and looks good so is a great add on.
Seems to keep the Xbox really cool on long gaming sessions, it’s a very quiet fan so you don’t notice it working really at all. The LEDs are a nice touch and add abut of colour to an otherwise totally black xbox which makes a real difference and goes well with other LED gaming accessories.
I keep my Xbox in quite a tight cabinet without much airflow so was looking for a way to help keep it a bit cooler.
I mainly use the fan function and it was quite simple to set up. You just put it on top of the box and plug it in. They also include some hooks which is a nice touch, this allows you to hang your controller and headset onto the Xbox itself so you always know where they are.
The fan isn’t silent but isn’t too noisy and unnoticeable if you’re playing a game with sound playing loud. The lights are also quite bright and vibrant and they look great.
Overall, I would say this is a great accessory to add to your Xbox series X.
I liked the fact it was simple to install has nice lights etc. so cosmetically looks good.
But I question its need, the X does not run particularly hot anyway and this makes a quiet console noisy…ok if you have your headset on but otherwise its a tad annoying.
You also have to turn it in and off manually, it would be so much better if it powered off automatically say 5 minutes after the console is switched off.

Easy to install and fits on the fan easily. Lights alternate between different colours. They are not too bright so do not distract from gaming.

This looks great ontop of the Xbox and the joypad holders are a nice touch, the lights look great and it feels like it is keeping it cooler even on low, it also has medium and high settings which are a bit louder but not overly so, all in all, really happy with it.
This is a must for all xboxs, my xbox dont switch itself off anymore its cooling nicely
I really like this for my XBSX mainly for the aesthetics to be honest.
It looks great and ties in with my setup which consists of my pc ps5 and Xbox and now they all have RGB.
The fan does cool the system at the cost of a little noise but I game with a headset so I don’t hear it anyways.
I think it’s a nice addition to the setup and at 35 I would recommend.
I love this, it’s super easy to put on and fits perfectly. It looks very attractive when the lights are running, and it does manage to help cool the system. Does the S/X need that? I don’t think so, as consoles are made to last anyway (Red ring says hi) and I’m running this off a USB hub that’s plugged into the Xbox, so I’m not losing any ports.
That’s the good part! However, it does produce some noise. People say it is quiet, but the Xbox itself is dead silent, and this is not. It’s not excessive, but it certainly isn’t silent. The other problem I have with this, is it doesn’t shut off with the Xbox. At least, I haven’t managed to make it to. Perhaps in a dedicated port but I don’t believe that would as the system itself seems to always keep power to the ports. It’s easy enough to turn off of course, but, you might want to take note.
At 35 or there about, I think it’s a good price. I would imagine for those who may have overheating that this could help with that, but you also shouldn’t have overheating this early on in the systems lifecycle. The dust filter however, is a great addition that would help extend the life of the console, because dust is the bane of all electronics.
I’m happy with it, it looks pretty cool but I wish it had an auto shut off (but perhaps I’m mistaken and it does, I’m just yet to find it)
It’s a BIG LED Fan for your Series X with a 2 Controller Holders & a Headset Holder …
It does spin up well so it must obviously have an effect on the cooling of the Series X . You can have it at 3 different fan speed settings should you desire & the Lights can be set at a certain colour or “Breathing Effect” ….
I must admit I couldn’t see the dust filter i the fan …. Unless it is very , very fine .
It will be powered all of the time as the USB ports are live on the series X as long as it has a live power cable attached … So you will always have to turn it off yourself & seeing as mine is under a desk this is a proverbial Pain !
It does look nice however but I still think it is overpriced at 35.99 …. Maybe if it had a remote that I could use to turn it Off /ON & change the colours and fan speed then this might have softened the blow on the wallet for buyers ….

It is well made though and lights up my room.
The fan itself is pretty good – the best thing about it is probably the lights (which look really cool) and it’s fairly quiet and helps to keep the Xbox from overheating. It’s definitely something that you want rather than need though. The hangers are actually my favourite thing about this product – they’re really handy for keeping the controllers and headphones tidy and organised. Overall, the price is a little expensive but it all looks really good and would make a really awesome gift for anyone with an Xbox.
Looks brilliant sitting on top of the xbox with stunning RGB lighting. It will definitely be a talking point when someone comes into the room and sees it. It has 3 speeds that can be adjusted with the buttons and they can also adjust the brightness. The hooks on the side that allow you to store controllers and a headset is a really nice touch and a great way to make use of an attachment. Powered by USB-C which is always good to see.
I’ve knocked off 1 star simply because as stunning as it looks, it is just a fan at the end of the day and 35.99 is quite a lot to pay for one. I’m also not sure that the dust filter is a good idea, usually you’d have a filter on the air intake to stop dust getting in, not on the exhaust to stop dust getting out.

Great to keep your Xbox cool and the led colours look brilliant at night. Well worth buying in my opinion well worth the price. I definitely recommend this to any gamer with the Xbox X.

Within this package contained

The Xbox fan is 15cm by 15cm by 4cm high, and the total weight of the fan is 198g.
The product feels quite cheap in the hands, so a low grade plastic has been used. But it sits on the Xbox perfectly with no overhangs or gaps anywhere.
The product states it has a dust filter, but this dust filter is practically useless. The holes are so big; it doesn’t stop many dust particles to be honest.

The fans speed is roughly 1500rpm.
The decibel levels of the fan is between 16-24db. Depending on what setting.

You can adjust these settings with a touch sensitive button that’s on the side of the fan.

Fan speed button.
There is also a memory function that remembers the last state the fan was in. So it should remember the speed & brightness levels. Which is fantastic.
The RGB implementation on this fan is done really well, there are hardly any light bleeds, and the diffusion is very good all around.
Overall this fan is fantastic & it certainly looks the part when it’s sitting ontop of your Xbox. It looks so amazing when it’s on, and your friends will be in envy. As soon as they see it, they will want one

A cooling fan for Xbox Series X, that sits on top of the console and sucks hot air out. It has RGB LED Indicator Lights, with 3 adjustable speeds on the cooling fan, including off. The fan unit is powered by a USB C socket on the side, but unfortunately there are no extra USB output sockets on it, so not only will it take up a USB socket on your Xbox, it won’t give you any back, and you cannot then run any peripherals off of it, like battery chargers for your hand controllers.
This was ordered for my son, and he’s reported back that the Xbox although its kept slightly cooler with it on, it’s not as good as his bottom fed fan that he already owns, especially through prolonged use while gaming. His also came with additional USB sockets, so he can run peripherals from it, like his hand controller battery charger, and headphone charger, but he’s using both fans at the moment, top and bottom, so keeping it extra cool.
The unit came with hangers, so you can keep the areas clear and hang items like headphones, controllers etc from them
But it’s soooo quiet, and as a basic fan, although a bit pricey, the same price as a bottom fan with USB sockets, he’s happy to recommend.

Just what my daughter needs for cooling her Xbox, especially if we get another summer like this one.
It’s not surprising with better tech that consoles try and bundle as much in as possible in as small a box as possible. With this, you sacrifice heat dissipation and ultimately the lifespan of your tech. With the especially hot summers, extra cooling is essential to maintain your console in tip too condition.
This device fits neatly on top and is able to generate a decent cooling solution with minimal noise. The RGB is a nice touch and very much in vogue these days.
Does what it says on the tin so can’t fault it.
