    Good basic alarm system
This is a basic alarm system for people who don’t want a system that is complicated or requires a subscription. It is relatively easy to set up although it is a bit fiddly getting the sensors in the right place. It works very well and it’s reliable.

Pretty good and easy to set up
It’s easy to set up. All you need is either the TuyaSmart app or the smartlife app. It literally gets found straightaway using the app when searching for it.
You can also rename the sensors and the app keeps a log of everytime it’s armed/disarmed or if the siren went off. It also tells you how it was armed or disarmed.
The siren is not a bad sound, it’s quite loud. Would be good to mount it outdoors. I like that I can arm and disarm with the app. I also bought a new remote and which was easy to sync with the system

    Good
My son suffers with severe anxiety and constantly worries about every little noise at night so when i saw this home security set I thought it would be perfect. It comes with 4 sensors & sticky pads so no drilling required. It’s great that it can be linked to our Alexa too! It was easy to install & set up & it has really made my son feel more secure so I would 100% recommend!

Very nicely made. Spare adhesive strips included.
The quality of the mouldings and the evidently good design inspires me with confidence.

I find that the sensors are ‘tripped’ by movement with a gap of up to 1.8cm.

The pair of remote controls are pleasing but not perfect. Again the moulding and design are good. The action of the buttons is quite nice.

I’m impressed that a complete spare set of adhesive strips is included.

Well made, easy to install, well packed
This is very well made home security system and it’s quite simple to install with the instructions and the sticky pads provided.
    It’s comes with 4 window/door sensors, 2 remotes, a siren, plus a hub.
The siren is quite loud and can be heard from quite a distance which is good. Can be operated via Google assistant/ Alexa.
All I had to do was download an app into my phone and I was good to go.
The security system works perfectly great.

Great way to simply bulk home security without added monthly costs
easy and effectiver solution to alert anyone at home if windows or doors have been opened while the alarm system is turned on. Good way to deter burglars and also alert you if your inquisitive toddler has played with doors/windows. unlike other window/door sensors i have used before, this one has a central alarm siren which is louder which is better in my opinion rather a small built in alarm that can be turned off by anyone once they get access to it and just turn the little button to the off position. It also has a great app that allows you to control, turn on/off the system and also notifies you if it is triggered. Would work best with an accompanying camera system to give you a visual aspect and more peace of mind.

    Nice little budget system
An alarm system with siren and sensors for under 80, what a good deal!
The system is only basic and contains door sensors, remote fobs, siren and base station. but everything is in the box and it is pretty much plug and play.
The door sensors wark well as did the whole sytem and it was quick adn easy to get going. No false activations as of yet. The system is completely wireless and works through wifi & an app.

All in all a nice little basic sytem for the money

Handy & Easy To Set Up Alarm System... Though Ideally Make Sure You Have Flat Doors/Windows
This was an easy entry point alarm system to set up. You will need to download the Smart Life app and I set mine up on my Android phone easily.

The instructions are adequate, if maybe not that well written. I feel like they have been translated into English so there were a few times when I had to re-read a section. Once the main black cube is plugged in and connected to the app and your wi-fi network, the four door proximity “triggers” are already connected so in that sense, it’s stress free. All you have to do then is switch them on (a small switch found on the larger piece behind the cover), position them on your doors/windows with the provided sticky backing and you are ready.

One thing to note is that if you have slightly three dimensional door surfaces you may struggle with this. I’ve included a photo of my patio doors to demonstrate what I mean and due to their shape and that they open outwards, I couldn’t get a good close enough position with them.

Therefore these work so much better on flat doors where you can position the two parts on an even level and luckily I have a few doors that applies to.

Otherwise it all works a treat. I’ve included a little video which I hope you find helpful which shows how the alarm is triggered when the proximity is broken and then how it looks in the app.

I think as long as you have the “right” sort of doors/windows or have a slight workaround to ensure the proximity sensors are close enough, this is an excellent little alarm system to alert you to any opening.

Small, loud and easy to install
Brilliant feature that this security system is linked to an app. Love being able to arm by speaking to my smart speaker.
    Easy to install and use.

Competent little alarm system on a budge
I was surprised and a little apprehensive when I saw how small the box was but everything is there. There are four door or window sensors which are magnetic and are tripped when opened. These are easy to install with the sticky pads. Then there is a main hub which the siren attaches to, this is maybe my only gripe is that the cable for the siren is really short.
There are two remotes with arm disarm and panic buttons. The app can also be controled by Alexa or Google home.
I am going to install this in my in-laws caravan as they spend most of their time there and are in their 70’s so they like a bit of piece of mind and security.
This system will not cover a large house but if you use it with a bit of common sense it is a really good bit of kit, no installation or monthly subscription fees pretty much anyone could set this up.
Be warned though that the siren almost looks like a kids toy but it is incredibly loud and you will make your ears bleed 🙂

works a treat - the app is very responsive
his is an easy install, simply attach to the various doors you want protection on. install the app and do the pairing up to your wifi.
the app is simple, but very responsive when you open a door, it tells you right away. very impressed – simple but effective.

Good product, does the job well.
Works really well and the alarm is very loud. The distance from the sensors is good, see picture as I had put them at a bit of an angle. The setup of the sensors in the instructions or video doesn’t show the switch inside to turn them on.

    Small but impressive features
Initial impressions of this unit are very good. the main control box is a small cube with the siren plugging into it. Powered via a USB connector you can use the supplied USB plug top or any other USB power source. The door switches are powered by button cells and you can set a low battery warning in app to warn if they are getting low, they have an internal on/off switch. The 4 door switched had a good range of detection of the magnets so there was some leeway in how close the two parts need to be aligned, this will also reduce error triggering. I mounted a couple on the hinge side of the door as this helps to keep them from getting bashed. I have installed the unit in my workshop (an old stable), and have placed door switches in three other outbuildings, the farthest is a good 20 meters from the control unit in a brick shed and the switch works perfectly. As my doors had wooden frames I screwed my contacts on, but if you were able to use the supplied sticky pads if would literally take minutes to set up, the switches are pre paired to the unit. Took me about 45mins with some of that being taken up finding some small wood screws. I have WiFi in my workshop so connecting to the Smart Life app was a breeze, press the button on the contro box for about 5 seconds till the the lights flash and then search for new device in Smart Life. It found it straight away, you can then rename it to a friendly name, ‘shed alarm’, for example. If you then go to Alexa it will be available to find, (Alexa had already found it when I opened it). You can then set up a routine to turn it on at a certain time etc. You can also arm it via your voice on Alexa, e.g. ‘Alexa Shed Alarm On’ in my case, it can also be turned off but Alexa asks you to set a pin for this as a way of stopping anyone just being able to turn it off by voice. There are two remotes supplied and these seem to work well with a good range. The buttons have etched symbols on them which would benefit from being coloured in to make them easier to see. In conclusion this is a really handy system and integration with apps makes it even more functional.

Good security, comes with 4 pairs for 4 doors, but doesn't have mic or video
I have used X-sense home security and this CPvan home security does exactly the same thing only X-sense has a motion sensor alarm, this product doesn’t but is far cheaper. I would expect this to have built in camera and mic at least 2k quality for 75 quid, however this is a good product and does work as stated comes with a lot of connections for 4 different doorways.

It is also wireless siren but has a built in battery though doesn’t last that long, its best to keep it always plugged in. The adhesive aren’t that great on some surfaces they were okay. I personally had to DIY some velcro adhesive tapes to get stronger grip.

Following the video guide on Amazon was decent though, and connected it all up fine, and can control it via google assistant, you have to add it after downloading smart life app then follow on screen instructions, then for google assistant I have to open google home and click + add on the top left and then works with google, find smart life in search and click add and link, it will then link everything you have in smart life to google assistant and then whatever its called in google home you can command google to turn it on or disarm it off via your voice ok google security on etc..

Sometimes I do get the couldn’t reach security, something happened to my wifi connection in my phone. Not really the products fault though. I took a star off because it has no mic or video function which is a top objective when you want the best for home security. This does come with many door security magnets, once the magnets are seperated while the system is armed you will get the sirens all on and can get quite loud. Bit hard to see the functions of the 2 remotes that come with this product.

I still recommend this and think everyone in the world should have something at least like this so then we can all reduce crime in our streets. When you take out the product don’t forget to switch them each on inside the clips, I didn’t so it wasn’t armed on mine, I believe the alarm still went off because of the remote function.

    Excellent kit, would recommend highly!
Purchased as an add-on to my current CPVAN security sensors and these are so much more techy than before – colour changing per alert, syncs to my current smart life setup and comes with a louder alarm. Would recommend definitely!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOnly just got this
Installed this quite easily, instructions easy enough to follow. Comes with 4 magnetic contact door sensors. They went on my front door, back door and patio door, all the main entry points on my house. The fourth was left over so I put it on my shed door.

All work perfectly. The sound is very loud with the separate siren plugged in although the sound from the hub itself is quite loud, I have a video of the plug in siren working but am only allowed to add one video to the review.

Works easily off the remote which you get two of. Very straight forward and easy to use.

As I have just got it I can’t say how it will perform over time but will update my review if there are any issues but I have quite a few products from CPvan and have had no issues so far.
