Really pleased with my purchase. The screen is huge and allows to watch movies without straining your eyes. Great on long car journeys to keep my daughter entertained. Easy to use and remote control is a bonus.

Very easy to use with great picture quality. Sound quality can be improved by using external speaker, but the built in one is good enough. Very robust, build quality great.

Great quality for good price
Very easy to use, great picture quality and rotating screen is a great idea. Sound quality is much improved by using external speaker, but the built in one is plenty loud enough. I’ve already dropped it a couple of times and it’s survived intact, so it’s pretty robust. Battery life seems good and recharging on mains is reasonably quick. Not tried charging in the van yet.

Easy to set up and use good value
I bought this DVD as my old one stopped working. I am so pleased with this new one, the sound is clear with the volume that can be turned up quite loud, the picture is also sharp and has a good sized screen.

Great Picture
Bought this for an elderly relative. Pretty easy to use . Excellent picture quality and the sound goes really loud which is very handy as he is hard of hearing. Light for him to move around as well. Haven’t used it plugged in to TV so unsure of the remote control as not used. Very well packaged when arrived . Really good quality for the price.

Great DVD player at a good price. Very good battery life, lasts about six hours. Good swivel screen and great picture. Remote control ok not great ,buttons don’t always work. Vents on the bottom caused a few issues. Has to be place on a flat surface. As I wanted to watch in bed i bought an A4 piece of MDF (from Amazon) to place the player on. Bought to replace an old Sony dvd player and does the job well. Would buy from company again. Just for curiosity sake the dvd player photo with screen shot is from tower block!!!

Good after sales service
This was a replacement for a defective machine. The replacement came immediately but I got in touch with the seller as I had had to pay extra for what had been a Black Friday deal. I received a rebate and am very content now with the DVD player. I have given the remote 4* as it is small and the keys difficult to see clearly
The player itself provides a good picture and very good sound but Im not sure if the handbook is a help or hinderence.
During the set up process you are told the charging light will be a GREEN FLASHING light … its not … its a static RED light changes to GREEN when battery is charged.
The On/Off LED is GREEN not BLUE and in my case only came on once , so I assume faulty.
The advert indicates a playing time of up to 6 hours …. the handbook states 4 hours.
Although the unit is not so sturdy as I would have liked its performance is very good and customer services ave been excellent.

Brought as a gift for a disabled guy. The person is really pleased. Picture perfect, screen size is big and great picture quality. Used in the car amazing. Won’t be disappointed. Would recommend to anyone and you wouldn’t be disappointed.

Light and portable
This is a great DVD player – I use the 180 swivel screen so it just shows the display. The picture quality is good, and the colours are quite vibrant, especially with Disney animated movies.
I use the remote a lot and it quickly pauses, rewinds and plays movies, plus clicking into the Menu then back into the movie is seamless. I like the laptop design and it makes little noise when playing DVDs.
It’s light and easy to lift and I’ll be taking it on my next holiday.
A good quality DVD playe
This is an improvement on the previous portable player I had as there are more functions available on this player without needing the remove so often and it plays my own dvds without any issues, unlike the previous one.

Ideal portable entertainment for wife to use on her trip to Jamaica.
My wife plans a lengthy visit to Jamaica. The TV content and reception out there in the boondocks is frankly crap. This DVD player will prove an ideal quality alternative as she can catch up on her extensive collection of old westerns! Light weight for luggage and ergonomically good design. Does what it says on the box.

I use this as my main DVD player as I don’t have a DVD drive in my PC or laptop.
It’s very capable – quickly turns on, reads the DVD and pauses instantly.
Connecting it to external speakers via the 3.5mm output gives the best sound.
Great viewing angles and performs best when connected to mains with the supplied cord.
Although it’s big, it’s quite light so easy to carry to the car for camping trips. Recommended.

Pleasantly surprised by how light it is, how quick it plays DVDs when you insert one, and how good the picture quality is at this price.

It is just what I wanted to play personal family memories.
I purchased this portable DVD player as I have a relative currently in hospital. They have a huge selection of family DVDs that they’ve not watched in several years. They are thrilled now that I can take a dvd in everyone I visit so we can sit and enjoy memories together with total convenience.
I am delighted with the quality and flexibility that this DBPOWER portable DVD player has. The picture and sound quality is fabulous and the screens manoeuvrability makes it very convenient in tighter spaces.
I am also looking forward to watching some family dvds this Christmas and movies also that we’ve not seen for a while now that I can connect this unit easily to my tv.
I travel a lot and will definitely be taking it on every trip to save the hassle of downloading movies etc onto a laptop.
A very impressive DVD player with a nice large 15.6″ HD screen. The picture quality is great and the sound is loud and clear.
Despite being a portable DVD player, it can be connected to a TV with the supplied cables and so can be used as a standard DVD player as well. With it being region free, I am no longer restricted to only buying UK DVDs.
Includes a headphone jack so you can listen in private or you can also connect to speakers and use it as a portable CD player.
I like the fact that it remembers where I am up to when watching a film and so I don’t have to find the position again if I switch off before the end of a film.
The swivel feature is also great – you can swivel the screen and fold it back on itself to hold it like a tablet or slot it into a car headrest-holder.
The viewing angle of the screen is also very impressive – I can see the screen just as clearly when sitting to the side of the player as when sitting directly in front.
As well as playing DVDs, it can also play from an SD card and USB storage (up to 32GB). You can even use it to copy from CD to USB and so store lots of films on a single USB drive.
The buttons on the player are very responsive and make it easy to navigate the menus. The remote control is very handy as you can access all the same features without having to be near the player.
The built in rechargeable battery lasts six hours at a time and with the in-car charger I think this would be ideal for camping.
All in all I am very happy with this DVD player and expect to get a lot of use out of it, especially given that we have so many DVDs which aren’t available to watch online via a tablet. With this portable DVD player, we can now watch them anywhere we like.
