    First class piece of equipme
This is the perfect addition to my photography and videography, it’s a complex and versatile little drone that produces stunning footage and above average stills. It’s very versatile in use and offers good stability in anything but the strongest of wind.

I very much like the small form factor, it means I can take it along to a shoot and quickly, easily and safely get aerial stills and footage to add value to my commissions. Very good indeed, highly recommended for stills and video.

    Excellent little drone.
Highly recommend this. Excellent gimbal keeps the shot steady. Amazing quality camera for the size of the drone. Easy to operate and control. Works in much higher winds than expected.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Users4.0 out of 5 stars It's good but far from perfect.
I won’t be writing about lack of side sensors because it’s clearly stated.
What is not clearly stated: terrible range. Hard to fly more than 700 meters. In urban areas it’s almost impossible to make full poi filming as it’s loosing signal.
Second ALL ACTIVE TRACK in 4K only avaliable in 30fps JOKE.
If not two things above that would be perfect drone for beginners.
Give side sensors top sensors proper antena and 60fpf in active track mode and will be best drone ever as its very stable and easy to use.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our Users5.0 out of 5 stars A Marvel of Technology and Creativity!
The DJI Mini 3 Pro has completely blown me away with its cutting-edge features, outstanding performance, and unparalleled convenience. As an avid drone enthusiast, I can confidently say that this lightweight foldable camera drone has set a new standard in the industry.

First and foremost, the 4K/60fps video capability produces breathtakingly sharp and smooth footage that rivals professional filmmaking equipment. The level of detail and clarity it captures is remarkable, allowing me to capture stunning aerial shots that I never thought possible from a drone of this size.

The 48MP camera sensor is nothing short of impressive, delivering vibrant and true-to-life colours in every shot. The dynamic range is exceptional, preserving both shadow and highlight details even in challenging lighting conditions. This camera has truly opened up new creative possibilities for my aerial photography and videography projects.

The extended 34-minute flight time is a game-changer. It’s rare to find a drone with such a compact form factor that can stay airborne for so long. This extended flight time gives me the freedom to explore and capture a wide range of scenes without constantly worrying about battery life.

One of the standout features of the DJI Mini 3 Pro is its incredibly lightweight design, clocking in at less than 249 g. This not only exempts it from many regulations but also makes it incredibly portable. The foldable arms allow me to pack it up quickly and take it on my adventures without hassle.

DJI’s dedication to safety is evident in the Mini 3 Pro’s comprehensive obstacle avoidance system. The sensors are remarkably effective at detecting and avoiding obstacles, providing a sense of security during flights, especially in tight or challenging spaces.

Setting up and operating the drone is a breeze thanks to the user-friendly DJI Remote Controller. The intuitive controls and responsive interface make flying a joy even for those new to drone piloting.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Users4.0 out of 5 stars A great bit of kit when bought on sale!
I bought this drone when it was on sale for just over 700, at that price it’s a great bit of kit!

I took this to the highlands in Scotland and got some amazing footage, only buy this if you’ve got s specific reason you need it or your travelling a lot, otherwise it won’t get a whole lot of usage!

So far the drone has been reliable, you can’t use it in strong winds or rain so keep that in mind, it isn’t weather sealed like the more expensive cousins.

It’s a good idea to buy more batteries and to put an ND filter over the camera lens, you’ll get some great footage once you learn how to fly the guy!

    What a beas
This is my first drone and I’ve always dreamt of owning one. The quality of this drone and the footage is incredible. I’ve paired this with the fly more package and can fly it for over a hour with all the batteries. Each one gives approx 25 flight time. It’s so easy to use as a beginner and is literally perfect as a first drone. It’s easy to fly, it’s got plenty of features like master shots and the new RC controller which just makes things incredible. So so happy with this purchase and can’t wait to use it more.

    Great fu
The drone is outstanding. I was so impressed with how steady it is in flight. my only problem is I live near a airport and can’t fly at my place. I’m a experienced photographer so the camera settings are easy for to understand .
The flying is another story. I’m just taking my time. Had a wee bit hassle with seagulls though. I would highly recommend this drone it’s expanding my photography.

    Firstly, brilliant drone.
If too expensive get the mini 2 SE.
Reason for this drone, extra features and avoidance sensors, though not side.

    Things learnt…

    1. If playing with indoors get propellers guards.

    2. If changing propellers CHANGE SCREWS TOO, so important.

    3. RC with mini 3 is so much easier and better.

    4. Get a filter for gimble, even just for protection.

    5. Extra batteries a must.

    6. Register drone.

    Enjoy……

I bough a 5 Battery charger which is also good
So light at 249 gsms so avoids having to register it although you do need an operator ID displayed (Easy test and registration details)
Anything heavier and you have some serious testing to do)

    Amazing Drone
I have 4 DJI drones ranging from the Mavic One to the Mavic 3 and the Avata and the DJI quality and performance is unbeatable.
The mini 3 pro is particularly good because it only weighs 249grams and its size makes it very easy to pack in your bag particularly when traveling abroad.
Its my go to drone nearly every time even when im the UK, battery life is a good 25 mins and the safety features make it easy for a beginner as well as the seasoned flyer.
the 4k video camera along with the photo capabilities make this the best drone for the money in my option.
The DJI rc is great and although some say its difficult to see in bright sunlight i personally never had any problems seeing the image in sunlight.
i will be looking out for when DJI upgrade to the next mini.

    Cosmic drone
I needed to jazz up my presentations for my business as Powerpoint presentations from offices are pretty utilitarian and all the same. So I tried a couple of drones to get interesting outside shots of museums pertinent to my talks – Hunterian etc but quality was restricted with Drone number 2. So in at the deep end and gulp, a substantial investment for the business. But wow, this does the job and my university colleagues want to use me and my drone for their work…a new market, I think

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersSuper easy to fly for beginners
We are in our sixties and never grew up playing games using controllers. On top of that we never had a drone before. From day one we were able to fly this drone. Of course there is lots to learn but when we choose our spot right (away from trees) and make sure we have a lot of space around us we were able to try out the preset functions on this beautiful drone.

We have it since April and flying this drone is still nerve racking and thrilling all at the same time.

We took out the refresh insurance from DJI and the customer service from DJI is AMAZING.

We highly recommend this drone and DJI’s refresh insurance package .

I hope this helps someone else considering buying this drone. Do IT!!!

Got the mini 3 pro plus spare battery combo on a prime day deal, it was great value for money.

If this is the first drone you are looking to buy, look no further. The mini 3 pro has all the features you want off a new generation drone – it’s easy to fly, has a great camera, and has tonnes of features for newbies as well as more experienced fliers. If you’re looking for a drone to get started with, look no furhter

The best feature I loved about this drone is it’s Master Shots where it auto-magically performs various manouvres, routes with an object in focus (you, your family or an architectural feature?) – makes for a brilliant film you can share on social media!

Overall, this is an awesome piece of kit. IF you are contemplating going for this vs some cheaper knock off models, I would suggest spend the money wisely on a quality product.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our Users5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic lightweight drone
I managed to grab this during the Prime sale and I’m really happy with the purchase. Item came quickly and all works perfectly.

The drone itself is brilliant, I had the mini 2 before, so am familiar with DJI and it’s lightweight offerings. This, as expected, takes things up a notch. It’s an evolution in picture quality and features, now giving you the ability to use mastershots and quickshots – all useful in a pinch – as well as subject tracking etc.

Another huge benefit to the drone – at least in the UK – is because it falls into the category of drones under 249g, it has the ability to fly closer to uninvolved people than the heavier drones. The picture quality isn’t up there with the mavic pros, but it’s definitely biting at their heels with each iteration and for the price nothing comes close.

Battery life – I’m tending to get around 25-30 mins per battery depending on usage.

Noise – this is definitely quieter than the mavic mini 2, once it’s up in the air you strain to hear it.

Safety features – it’s extra sensors are really useful, though it’s worth keeping in mind these don’t cover sideways flight, the sensors are only on the front, rear and bottom of the drone.

As long as you’re following the rules and have the right paperwork in place, you’ll have a ball with this little legend.

Only had it a week but so far so good, ordered with the fly more kit. Didn’t think I’d need the fly more kit initially but so glad I decided to get it as 25-30 mins flight time on one battery flys by (pun intended) very quickly so always good to have some back ups.
The tech is easy to use and intuitive, but I recommend to watch some videos on YouTube as they will give you some good nuggets of information you would either never find on your own or it would take you weeks to come across them.

It’s easy to fly in either slow or fast mode and lots of fun. The camera is great quality on both picture and video.

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our Users5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely amazing!
The DJI Mini 3 Pro (DJI RC) is an exceptional lightweight foldable camera drone that offers an impressive array of features suitable for both beginners and experienced drone enthusiasts. As an avid drone user, I had high expectations for this model, and I can confidently say that it delivers on its promises.

One of the standout features of the DJI Mini 3 Pro is its camera capabilities. With 4K/60fps video and a 48MP camera, it captures stunningly detailed footage and breathtaking aerial photographs. The image quality is remarkable, and the smoothness of the videos truly enhances the overall viewing experience. Whether you’re capturing landscapes, events, or simply exploring the world from above, this drone excels in delivering high-quality visuals.

Flight time is always a concern for drone pilots, and the DJI Mini 3 Pro impresses in this aspect as well. With a flight time of up to 34 minutes, it offers an extended period in the air, allowing for more exploration and footage capture on a single battery charge. This is a significant improvement over previous models and greatly enhances the overall usability and enjoyment of the drone.

Safety features are crucial, particularly for beginners, and the DJI Mini 3 Pro doesn’t disappoint. It is equipped with front, rear, and downward obstacle avoidance sensors, which detect and help the drone avoid potential collisions during flight. This adds an extra layer of confidence and peace of mind when navigating tricky areas or flying in crowded spaces.

Another noteworthy feature is the “Return to Home” function. With a simple tap of a button, the drone automatically returns to its takeoff point, ensuring a safe and hassle-free landing. This feature is especially valuable in case of low battery or lost connection, minimizing the risk of losing the drone.

The DJI Mini 3 Pro’s lightweight design is a definite advantage, weighing less than 249 g. This makes it easy to transport and maneuver, while also complying with regulations that require registration for drones over a certain weight. The foldable design adds to its portability, allowing it to be conveniently carried in a backpack or even a pocket.

In conclusion, the DJI Mini 3 Pro (DJI RC) is an outstanding camera drone that combines exceptional image quality, extended flight time, and advanced safety features in a compact and portable package. Whether you’re a beginner looking to explore the world of drones or an experienced pilot in need of a reliable and versatile aerial tool, this drone is an excellent choice. With its impressive specifications and user-friendly features, the DJI Mini 3 Pro sets a new standard for camera drones in its class.

Pairs perfectly with the FlyMore kit.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU GET LICENSED AND FOLLOW ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS – DO NOT GIVE THE DRONING HOBBY A BAD REPUTATION!

Incredible work of engineering and technology
The capabilities of this drone are mind-blowing. I once flew it when the wind was quite strong and I was shocked to see the stability of the footage. It truly represents cutting edge technology in terms of geo location, manoeuvring, and safety features. A total of 9 original batteries, 3 charging hubs, 3 20,000+ mAh powerbanks will easily last for a day of filming. The batteries do drain when idle. Please charge them to full in the 24 hours before you fly to avoid surprises. Expect to have a real life flight time of about 20 minutes in good wind.

I get a lens flare at certain angles with the sun. I once got blurred videos from an entire flight and the rest of the videos on that day were of good focus. Not sure what went wrong.

Please watch YouTube lessons on safe flying and research about the local rules and regulatory clearance before flying.

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our Users5.0 out of 5 stars Best Sub 249g drone there is!
There are lots of reasons to purchase this – camera quality being the main one – both in terms of photo & video! If you’re looking at a drone – do yourself a favour and buy once! If you buy a cheap drone, you’ll be looking to upgrade pretty soon to this!

Portrait mode is fantastic for social media accounts, and being under 249grams there are a lot less flight restrictions.

I’m regards to it’s flight system – as it’s got a gps lock, it is incredibly stable in the air and the hover ability is fantastic, even in high winds it near enough stays put. Obviously the gimbal compensated for a lot of movement!

Yes you will need to get an operator ID from the CAA, but it’s a 40 question test and a 10 fee. Well worth it to be flying within the law!

Image quality is outstanding, and if you can edit in Lightroom you can get some fantastic results!!

If you’re looking to get it with a controller I’d reccomend the one with the in built screen as it’s just easier – but if you’re looking at this, you probably already have a controller and aren’t in need of another, although it might be helpful to have both types (although not 100% needed!).

I purchased this drone (no remote) because I crashed my first one (pilot error – I turned off obstacle detection and crashed it into a branch over a river!!), so they are not waterproof!! But my insurance paid out and I was able to replace it within a few days!! If I had had obstacle avoidance in, I wouldn’t have had to buy another! Talking no of that, there is 2 axis obstacle avoidance (up & down, and forward and back). There is no sideways obstacle avoidance.

I’m incredibly happy with my drone and hopefully the images and videos show the quality!

You will need to get more batteries, as this will only come with one with a flight time of up to 34 mins (depending on weather conditions). I ended up buying 2 fly more kits as they made more financial sense than just 4 batteries!

I’ve named this one Maverick, I posthumously named the other one Goose after it met a watery end!!

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersSmall drone with pro features
A small drone under 250g in weight packed with professional features.

With a 1/1.3-inch sensor you’re able to capture really sharp photo’s up to 48mp in raw and high quality 4K video up to 60fps.

I went with the pro version as it offers features such as extra sensors and D-Cinelike picture profile.

With D-Cinelik being a somewhat flatter picture profile, I’m able to play with colour grade to get the look I want without breaking the footage.

The DJI RC is works really well with great range but most importantly for me, has the built in screen so I don’t have to attach my phone and drain it’s battery.
With the ability to download offline maps I’m good to go even in area’s with bad signal.
The ability to hotspot from your phone is also available when required.

One issue I faced with my controller is something small rattling around inside upon taking out of the packaging. But hasn’t cause any issues but will monitor for now.

Of course, with it’s size there are some draw backs such as, in very high winds, the drone will drift a little, while fighting against the wind.

Being the little brother of the higher end DJI drones and it’s sensor size, it’s a given that there are some compromises in image quality. However, saying this, you will not be disappointed in what this little machine can produce.
You can easily get away with creating professional level work.

Highly recommended for beginners, content creators and some professionals who don’t want to spend thousands.

Golden Review Award: 43 From Our Users5.0 out of 5 stars Costly but worthwhile purchase.
Whilst the DJR Mini 3 (Pro) is not a cheap buy – with the RC Pro controller, it is nonetheless a very good piece of kit. I am new to the drone market, wanting one primarily for landscape shots when I am out and about in Mid Wales on my motorcycle. Having done a fair bit of research, this drone consistently came top of the list as a best buy.

I have only just used it for the first time, but I can confirm it is a seriously good bit of kit. My first flights were of the learning variety, but even I was surprised by how easy it was to use! Setting up the controller and drone with the latest firmware is an absolute must, but once done, it is up, up and away. The auto take off setting worked perfectly, as did the Return to Home and land function (but remember to update your RTH location each time you fly – dead easy, and prompted each time). The drone is very responsive, and very manoeuvarable, even in slightly windy conditions (not sure how well it will respond when windier but at speeds of 10-15mph it was fine).

The camera quality is excellent (preferred option is J-Peg + Raw), and gives excellent picture quality.

Battery life is as advertised, my first run was around 33 minutes, and there was plenty of warning both on screen and via an audible message, that it was time to land (which it will do automatically when the power is about to run out)!

Once the initial on screen tutorial on first flight has been cleared, the maximum height and distance parameters are as set by the user in the safety menu on screen. I did find it difficult to go through the tutorial as it kept wanting to go back to the previous screen but this may have been user error rather than the tutorial itself.

It was easy to download photos directly from the drone to my phone via the DJI Fly app, once linked it takes no time at all, a few seconds for 40+ photos, which can then be edited in whatever photo app is preferred.

I use a hard case for the drone, given it is in the side pannier of a motorcycle, and I would recommend this as an additional purchase before use. The one I use has space for a three battery charger, plus two additioanal batteries. It is also possible to leave the joysticks attached to the drone when put away (although if you use a strap for the controller, this may require part of the foam insert to be reshaped).

I would recommend looking at some of the various You Tube videos (there are many) giving very useful recommendations for setting adjustments made before first use. Although they are not required before flight I did find them very helpful in set up given the full DJI user manual does not cover all bases.

It is worth buying a screen protector for the controller, the one I purchased off Amazon could not have been easier to install, and gives good protection whilst taking glare off the screen. I did find in bright sunshine that some of the functions on the screen were a little hard to see, but again no major issue.

I have not yet had cause to test the obstacle avoidance settings, as I chose flat and tree free ground for my initial usage, but as far as I can tell it is a very useful tool to have (one up on the Mini 3).

The gimble is quite delicate so remember to use the supplied plastic cover protector for this (and the camera) when the drone is not in use.

I appreciate this review is given after only one use, but from what I can tell, it will be a very useful and enjoyable thing to use, and I can’t wait to get back out and have another go.

Great item I had tried some of the cheaper brands and had got one that cost 300 after a few uses it fell out the sky quick google on that brand and story unfolds. Any way this drone is fantastic I can’t fault it does a good distance and takes brilliant videos and even photos. Easy to fly and having the display built into the controller makes it a win win. Of course buying the drone just don’t end there as having so much fun you buy the fly more kit.

What I have found with this kit is that even tho expensive that’s for a reason your getting a done you can fly easy and has been built with good research and investment.

Easy to set up, especially with the new controller as it’s already bound. Consider the fly more pack for the extra batteries. Flight time is awesome though depending on wind. 34mins is enough to see what you want to do,use the 2nd battery to try the shot and the 3rd to hone the shot. Picture quality is okay considering the sensor size. I’m super happy and it’s opening up so many possibilities for me. Highly recommended, even for your first drone

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersBest Drone for the money despite Amazon's style title mix-up on what controller (RC) you get !
Not flown mine yet (raining) but it looks the nuts. Just to help those confused by Amazon’s Title & Style Name Mix up’s on what Controller (RC) you get, I can help.

After a Dozen or so calls to Amazon I managed to get an agreement by email that they have mixed up the titles on what RC you get on the DJI Mini 3 Pro. Amazon haven’t changed the titles yet as of 21:22 18/12. To save others from that painful journey below is the correct info as of 21:22 18/12/22.

    (1) Style Name = Mini 3 (Pro DJI RC) = Page title and style name appears correct, you get the very nice DJI RC Remote RM330.
    (2) Style Name = DJI Mini 3 Pro (No RC) = The page title is not correct at it does not mention there is no RC & was meant for the next title name (3). Ignore the Tech details that is saying an RC is included it doesn’t as per the style name ! not the page title.
    (3) Style Name – DJI Mini 3 = the Title page is 100% wrong as it was meant for number (2) DJI Mini 3 Pro (No RC) it actually comes with the RC -N1 standard controller pictured on the page with the correct part number in the tech section. The Amazon DJI store also confirms this but links to the incorrect Amazon page Title

Golden Review Award: 31 From Our UsersAn Excellent Mini Drone for Photography
This is, without a doubt the best drone for no hassle photography. Fly anywhere (almost), with the least restrictions in most countries and it has surprizingly good IQ for a small sensor camera. I come from using pro level 35mm nikon DSLRs such as the D810 and D850 and if shot in raw, bracketed and processed delicately, these files are really nice. I have trialed the 12MP and 48MP modes but honestly, due to the need to bracket to get proper images most of the time, 12MP is where it is at. The files can be easily exposure blended due to there being no motion between the frames. If you want to shoot 48MP and bracket, you can but it will be manual and you will likely have drone motion between shots, making exposure blending more complex. 48MP is a bit more detailed, but..suffers from some colour artefacts. For this reason, I now shoot 12MP, and just make panos if I need more resolution. Simple really. I am not a video guy really, but from what I have done – has been very nice also.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersSuperb Mini Drone
I fairly recently started flying drones for my photography and came in at the entry level DJI Mini SE, a great little drone which I quickly got the hang of and was taking some great photos. It did however have some limitations and I quickly decided to upgrade, and on doing some research the DJI Mini Pro 3 seemed to tick all the boxes.

Previous experience with the SE led me to buying the Pro 3 with the Fly More Combo kit, and again I am not disappointed. The drone is super responsive with far better handling than the SE and the DJI smart controller is just excellent picture quality and with seemingly endless functions. It’s a lot quieter than the SE too and in normal mode is quicker than the SE in Sport mode. The avoidance sensors do work too. I am still learning all the video and photo functions as there are so many, but so far I have been very impressed with the results.

Not cheap with the Fly More Pack, but a real step up all round in quality and I’m very impressed.

NOTE you need ‘Extreme’ Mini SD Cards for the drone, ‘Ultra’ cards are not fast enough. The max it will take is 512GB card too and the DJI website gives a list of recommended SD cards.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersGreat upgrade from the mini 2
Been really pleased with this drone, bought as an upgrade for my DJI mini 2. I use purely for recreational purposes and have the DJI smart controller.

The video is clearly superior to the mini 2 (smoother 4k60, higher bit-rate and slightly bigger sensor) as are the photographic stills. You also have noticeably longer flight time and the drone is quieter in the air and more stable. It is also much quicker to deploy when you have the DJI smart controller (no need to fiddle about clamping on / plugging in your mobile, starting app etc) and your mobile phone does not get full up with cached video. You also have the protection of various sensors around the drone which should prevent you crashing (although these do not protect all directions of travel).

But there are some negatives about the mini 3! It’s slightly larger than the mini 2, the gimbal guard is not as easy to install and when the arms are closed you can’t extract a battery. Also when closed up the blades are loose to move about (unlike mini 2 which has a handy strap to stop this). So the mini 3 is just not as good as the 2 for sticking in a coat pocket when you go out (which I used to do; annoying). There is also no charger included with the mini 3 and you will need something that puts out a healthy wattage or it will take ages to charge the battery(s).

But once flying the mini 3 is an improvement in many ways and I would definitely recommend the upgrade.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersA lot of money for a little drone. But...
…a lot of ability for a little drone.

Most online reviews aren’t lying about how good the M3P is, which makes a change. It’s pretty amazing.

The only reason I can’t give it full marks is because the auto focus isn’t great. I’ve properly tested it and it’s poor. So I must manually focus all the time. Not too bad as I’m used to manual focus, but the app’s implementation of manual focusing is awful. Slips back to auto focus at either end of the focus slider. Infuriating!

Also, calling it “pro” but forcing fake HDR on certain frame rates, and not allowing access to sharpening controls (etc) is disappointing.

However, it’s a major step forward in the small drone sector, and it’s an instant classic. And I DO love it.

Oh, and if you can stretch to the DJI RC controller…do it! I’m never going back to using a mobile as a screen and brain for the controller. The DJI RC controller, and its beautiful screen, is absolutely fantastic!

What an excellent little drone. As my 1st ever drone. It’s does what I need with all the pro functions.
I do use two drone apps to check for restrictions and no fly zones. Just because it’s a 249g drone and you don’t need to be Registered or qualified doesn’t mean flying irresponsible.
Nothing basic about it. If your use to a much larger drone , then probably not for you unless you want to fly through windows and use a first person manoeuvres where it’s size would be of benefit.
I fly in 0-20 mph winds which is stable enough. Can take higher gusts but the importance is really returning up wind in constant high wind. It’s having the battery power and drone power to over come high winds other wise it’ll get blown down wind and not return.
The camera and video quality are great.
It has front , back, up and down obstacles sensors. Could do with side sensors. Caution when flying sideways. It has cinema , normal and sport mode to slow the flight controls or turn of sensors for close proximity flying. I got the RC controller which is better than using your mobile.. It does track quite well with some hick ups. Small objects are normally harder and you can’t go to fast , it will loose you. I Love the return to home feature. Great features are setting pre flight parameters. Altitude, distance and return to home altitude . As it’s so small , can loose sight of it easy.

I previously had a Mini 2 and sold it for this.

What a step-up in quality. I know this is called Mini 3 “Pro” but I did think the Pro bit was pure marketing…but it really is a huge step up in performance (granted it’s more expensive than the Mini2 but still cheaper than the other DJI ‘Pro’ drones).

The picture quality (video + stills) is remarkable, for such a small drone which still houses a fairly small sensor. The addition of more quickshot/follow me modes is a big plus.

But by far, for me, the two biggest wins for this are:
    – The new controller is a vast improvement on the Mini 2 controller and not having to connect your phone makes it so much easier to just get up and going. Sometimes I’d miss out on shots because I just couldn’t be bothered with the Mini 2 set up
    – Vertical shots. Especially if your audiences is on social, this is a game chanrger as you no longer have to crop your shots (on a small sensor, too) and you can actually compose your shots properly rather than guessing what it will look like

I could go on and on but Youtube is full of longer reviews. Just buy it, you won’t regret i

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersRC Controller battery not charging!
My first time purchasing a drone and very excited when I took it for a test flight. I had charged both the controller and the drone to a 100% and all was good. The controller battery lasts longer, but when I came to charge it for the second time nothing happened. Tried different cables and chargers that all work fine on other devices, but the controller simply will not charge. Researching this and I found a lot of users having the same issue. The controller and drone work well but as soon as the battery drained I can no longer use it. Contacted DJI but to no avail. I’m abroad now in Italy for two months and will not be able to get this resolved for when I need it. Very disappointed. Make sure you fully test both the drone and controller that they are able to be recharged before travelling.

Update: The initial contact with DJI could not fix the problem so I bought another while I waited to refund the faulty drone. In that respect Amazon gets top marks for service. I had purchased Care Refresh and DJI agreed to transfer it to the new drone. Bad luck and the new drone got damaged. However the DJI Care Refresh process was surprisingly fast and within a week I had a replacement. With the latest updates, I am really enjoying the mini 3 pro. I hope not to have any other mishaps but given my recent experience I have peace of mind from potential damage or fly aways as the overall DJI service experience has been excellent. Superb 4k videos by default and enhanced further with ND filters. Making great new memories of trips and hence my new rating.

Golden Review Award: 26 From Our UsersGreat image and build quality, very impressive screen on DJI RC
Amazon did email me about the delay: the delviery date changed from 18th May to mid-June. However I still received my Mini 3 Pro on 18th May, very happy. Very compact and light weight for both the drone and the DJI RC controller. Did not take long to charge both of them and upddate the firmware, then activated the drone.
I bought DJI REFRESH CARE on the 2nd day as I noticed that I only have 48 hours to purchase the Refresh Care plan. As I do not own Mini/Mini 2/Mini SE, I cannot compare the image quality with them, but the first impression is very good – almost as good as the main camera on some flagship phones. I have to say the screen on DJI RC is very impressive, the colour is nutrual and beautiful, I love this screen and it defenitelly worth the price difference between the RC-N1 and the RC version, with extra benefit of not worring being interupted by incoming phone calls.
