Practical and keeps the CPAP machine working for 4 nights on a single charge.
It did what it said on the tin, good product. Battery Power supplies can be extremely expensive for CPAP but this is mid range “pricewise”. I use it for camping and night fishing and its rugged design makes perfect for these types of activities. It is a bit bulky but I think this is fairly standard if you want a power supply to last this long.
I used it for 4 nights with the CPAP machine also charging my phone each night and this was on a single charge.
I did have to buy the separate lead (Link Below) for it for a further 32.99 but it works perfectly.
TAIFU Vehicle Charger DC Adapter 12V-24V Car Charger for Resmed S10 Series 370001 ResMed Airsense 10 AirCurve 10 Series CPAP and BiPAP Machine Resmed S9 Series Res Med IPX1 CPAP Machine S9 24V 3.75A
From my experience I would recommend this produc
Good power bank but a little heavy
Bought this for a upcoming camping trip and it was perfect as a charging unit and for my dads Cpap machine, instructions were easy to follow and the charge lasted 5 nights easily before we had to recharge it. I’d advise buying the relevant lead for your Cpap as it’s easier than carrying your plug lead with you,we bought the Airsense lead and it worked perfectly.
Camping with a CPAP
I’m going to a festival in 3 weeks for 3 nights and had been dreading not being able to take my CPAP.
This fully charged in 7 hours.
I’ve trialed it for the last 3 nights to see how much juice it would use. So 3 sleeps for roughly 7hrs a night has used 3 fifths of the power store. This leave plenty for phones , ecigs and others.
I’ll add a further review after the festival when it’s been put through it’s paces
*************
Post festival review:
Would highly recommend for CPAP users. Went to Kendal Calling, had 2x9hour and 1x6hour sleeps ,plus charged 2 phones(to about 75%)and 2 ecigs(on a few occasions). In future take an extra power bank just for phones etc. Just in case
Cpap camping
I’ve used this while I’ve been camping and it’s worked really well. I did test it at home first, with my Philips Dreamstation, but without the water humidifier attached and it lasted for 60hrs using the 12v outlet and lead. I got 50hrs with my Dreamstation and phone plugged in on home tests.
Really pleased with performance upto now.
Makes a good expansion battery
I bought this to use as an expansion battery for my Bluetti portable power station. I like the Bluetti’s features but felt its battery capacity would be limited in a power cut. The Easylonger effectively doubled this in a relatively cheap way. I also use it to charge up my phones and tablet. I have a solar panel that I can recharge the Easylonger with. My only complain is that the buttons are fiddly to operate.
It does what it says
A great bit of kit. I got it to power my Devilvis Sleep Cube. After 2 nights use, had 4 of 5 bars of power left. Light weight and compact. I would highly recommend this!
They Thought of About Everything
There’s just a bit of a learning curve. If you don’t read the manual, try a long press or a double click. You do a long press to turn on the red light. You double-click to turn on the white light – then a short press for dim or bright. On the 12V selector, do a long press to get the power option to blink and then a short press to choose 12V, 16.5V, 20V, or 24V. Then when it stops flashing, that’s your DC output. Several types of connectors are provided. The cigarette lighter output is why I got this. I plan to run a DC fridge/freezer. This has pass-through, meaning it’s like a UPS (uninterrupted poser supply), but they don’t recommend doing this long or often since it might shorten the battery life. But that’s still good to have. You can charge it while you’re using it. Also, with the cigarette lighter input, you can easily use an AC inverter. Unlike some other power banks, this does not have its own built-in inverter, but small ones are easy to come by these days. I plugged in a 200 watt inverter and it did fine. I didn’t try running something 200 watts, but I did plug in a couple of LED lights – using the AC inverter that I already have. I’m very impressed with this.
Oh, I didn’t notice in the description when ordering this that it’s also a wireless charger. I put my wife’s iPhone on it – making sure the green light was on indicating wireless – and it began charging her phone wirelessly. They thought of about everything!
It’s great to receive this product
Tested this battery pack overnight for 7.5 hours on my ResMed AirSense 10 CPAP, with ALL the bells & whistles activated (heated tube at 81 degrees, heated humidifier at 3, cpap pressure of 10) and it still had around 75% charge available to spare! You do have to use a “car charger DC adapter for Resmed s10 series”or a””DC to DC Cable for Resmed s10″”, You can consult the seller in advance.
The only con is that it does take a while to fully charge to 100% – It came out of the box with about 25% charge (one bar out of four), and it took a good 6-7 hours to fully charge to 100% from the wall outlet using the included AC adapter. But to be able to get around 3-4 nights of use on a single charge, on such a small form factor and with humidification/heated tube, makes it completely worthwhile. I imagine without the heated tube and humidification, it should run many more nights on the airsense 10. I also like that it is completely silent (no fans and no moving parts), and it has no distracting LED lights while in use. Can’t be beat for the price.
Amazing quality
I was looking for something versatile – for travel and for daily work. I am glad to find exactly this powerbank, it is so well made – materials are really great. And it charges my MacBook PRO 16″ at least two times
Quality and well buil
I needed a power pack for my CPap machine whilst I’m away for a couple to three days carp angling. I was recommended a few from others who use a cpap and the packs they use. But coming in at 100 cheaper than one used by most carp anglers and I personally believe it’s a better build, along with power lasting longer you can’t go wrong. I’ve used my power pack with cpap ,charging my phone and vape for the last couple days and still as a couple power bars left. On average my cpap is on for around 6hrs per night. Phone charged twice and vape charged twice. Quality build and easy to use. The light functions I don’t use but a great added bonus if needed. Neoprene sleeve/case fits snug around the pack also. All in all a nice bit of kit.
I don’t usually write reviews but I thought it would help CPAP users in deciding to buy this for their nights when away from a power source.
Just used on a 2 night camp trip and finally I can return from camping not feeling like a zombie, so happy.
Brought cheap power stations before, that don’t work, and oooo’ed and aaarrrhhh’ed for many months and finally decided to buy this. Yes it is expensive but it’s amazing and so much power for the small size it is, compared to a power station.
Used with Res med 10, no dehumidifier, air plane mode (16 hours) recharge iPhone 12 mini (once) and 4 vapes batteries and only used one bar.Deff taking my dehumidifier with me and will Deff get at least 4 nights from this massive power bank.
Please buy a 12v adapter (link below for the one I previously had )
TAIFU Vehicle Charger DC Adapter… https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07W3V1HJC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Just remember when using it you need to change the voltage for the cpap –
Hold the button on the right for 5 seconds, a red light will flash, and continue pressing the button still you see the red light flash for 24V
(Picked this trick up elsewhere before buying and didn’t have any power issues)
I just wished I brought this straight away and not worry about the cost. It’s worth every single penny.
Next time I’m going to use it to blow up my tent.
****Update **** didn’t recharge from last time and in total got this from one charge – 3 nights sleep (25 hours), iPhone 12 mini 3 times, 4 vape batteries 2 times, 2 double and 2 single air beds blown up 2 times.
Problem now is I have no battery for 2 more nights lol but we’ll exceeded my expectations.
Bought this to use in places where I have no access to electricity. Have tested it at home with a Resmed S9 machine and I can confirm I got 3 nights use out of the machine which is brilliant and more than adequate for what I need. Just a word of advice – for the Resmed 9 I had to buy the DC adaptor direct from Resmed so factor that in your budget. The adaptor works fine on the cigar socket.
Have only used it over 3 nights so far so cannot comment on how long it will continue to work but so far so good. Build is solid, the covers on the sockets fit securely meaning dirt cannot get in there and overall build-quality looks solid and well-thought out. A bit on the heavy side when carrying it, but that is a small price to pay for a really good off-grid portable power source.
I bought this to power my Airsense 10 cpap machine. I have now used it for 6 consecutive nights and it still has power left. I bought this as going camping,. It’s size and weight are ideal for it. Charging time was about 4 hours. Honestly for the price this cannot be beat. Hopefully the battery lasts the test of time
Using with a 24v cpap using a car cigarette lighter socket adaptor- getting 2 nights with a humidifier turned on and 1 bar left.
Solid unit and good capacity without being too big so good to travel around with. Has a bit of weight to it but no mot than anything else I’ve seen.
Bought 2 of them so I’m covered camping with cpap if I need to charge one
It weighs what it says 1.5k I first used it with an inverter. You can get one for 20 quid. Then I made a cable that goes into the cigarette bit. To save using the inverter. It will also charge your phone at night as well on the usb. No more Needing electric wherever I go brillia
Used with my resmed airsense 10 autoset cpap machine and a kfd 12v to 24v lead and it lasted a fantastic 25 hours. I also purchased doxio 80watt solar panel and the battery recharged in about 6 hours!!!!
Bought to power my CPAP machine on camping trips, used at home to test and found I had 5 nights use before the need to recharge.
This exceeded my expectations so I am more than happy
Edit.
So had a failed camping weekend as this pack would only run for up to 20 minutes.
The cable that was recommended (by the supplier on here) does not work. We are having to buy yet another cable to try. I will update once we know if it actually works. Ps. The instructions don’t at all guide well for cpap use. Read other peoples reviews. Much more helpful.
At last!
A battery pack that I can use for camping with my cpap machine that is within my budget.
We have (my partner also wears cpap) been confined to only camping with electric hook up. But this little power pack changes that.
To be honest it took a little bit of setting up as the instructions are very basic but we eventually got the hang of it. I had to buy a separate adaptor cable for the s9 (used the link on the questions and cost 27). This cable also works for the OHs resmed Air 10 but isn’t the one recommended for it on here.
The only thing to remember is to make sure you put the battery pack onto 24v setting each time.
Comes with a pouch and loads of adaptors for more common items like phones.
Was packaged really well in its own secure box.
For the price it is fantastic. The OH is getting one too.
So, I have been looking for a powerbank for my CPAP for a long time. I saw this one and considered it for quite a while before buying it, as I was dubious about how long it would run for. The calculations I kept seeing about runtimes showed this would only last for a few hours.
My CPAP is a Resmed Airsense 10 Elite, running at 14.2 pressure, no ramp or EPR, no humidifier and a slimline pipe with full face mask. I also bought the KFD 12-24v DC adapter (also on Amazon for about 27) and switched the powerbank to 12 volts.
This powerbank has now run it for 3 nights, totaling 20 hours, and still has 2 of the 4 LEDs on the battery indicator lit.
I’m over the moon with the performance! For the price, I don’t think you’ll find any better.
The powerbank itself feels solid and well-built. I do think it would benefit from a digital display, but it’s not a necessity.
I would recommend reading the instructions a couple of times. The functions can be a little confusing at first, but you get the hang of it quickly.
I will be getting myself a solar panel for camping this summer, as I am now confident I can now go camping “off-grid”.
All in all, very happy with my purchase! I would definitely recommend it.
Firstly the packaging was superb and well protected that’s without the addition of Amazon’s rainforest packaging. This is a serious piece of kit and never any fear of running out of power to charge the kit I take fishing, sometimes 2 weeks away. I. Love it already
First impressions of this were good, it’s bigger than I was expecting but still compact enough to easily fit in a backpack. It comes with its own carry case too so is very portable and travel friendly. I thought from the pictures it might come with a solar panel to charge it but it doesn’t, I think that was just to show it can be done if you buy the solar panel separately. It does come with a normal mains plug to charge it though.
In use it’s great, It comes charged so as soon as I got it out the box I was able to charge my phone wirelessly off it. It also comes with loads of adapters so it will work with most things. The controls for it are very simple. The button on the right changes the output voltage and has an LED light bar to display which one you’ve selected. The button on the left activates the torch, double click for white light, long single click for red light. Under this button is a bar of blue or green lights to show the amount of charge it has. The inputs and outputs are clearly labelled, and have covers that pull off to protect the sockets.
The first time I used it I was redoing some loft insulation so took it up with my to use the inbuilt torch which was brilliant, it was on for hours and stayed on constantly while I worked without dimming. The torch can be changed in brightness and you can change the colour to red which will be handy in the car if it breaks down.
The only constructive criticism I can give is that the bar to indicate how much charge it has is quite hard to read, the lights seem to blur into each other which makes it difficult to clearly see what amount it has left.
Other than that though I think it’s great, it’s going to be so handy in the car for emergencies and also if our electricity ever cuts out again. I think it would also be great for camping and traveling.
This arrived in a nice solid black box with images and function details on the outside. Inside everything is packed into bespoke foam with the portable power station coming in its own padded case with a storage pocket on the front and valcro sealed.
First Impressions: this is as you would expect a heavy unit, the finishing all looks and feels very nice. All the connections are on the front with fixed rubber covers marked with the socket details. You are provided with eight adapter connectors although I did find these are all larger size and I had to use one I already had to test it out charging my laptop, which was smaller although these connectors are fairly standard so not hard to get hold of different sizes. The manual was easy enough to follow with a useful identification diagram at the front.
After giving this a full charge I tried it out first by testing out the wireless charging on my phone, and this worked perfectly. I tested out the light on the front and I found that quite strong with a useful switch to red should you need a warning light. I tried out all the charging sockets using an e-cigarette via the USB type A, the USB-C on a camera battery charging unit, the type-c charging a tablet, the DC output to my laptop with an adapter and the 12v cigarette socket on a cooler box over night. Everything worked perfectly with a good solid fast charge, the cooler box came down to the set temperature and maintained it over a 12 hour period before I disconnected it.
Overall this is a very powerful powerbank/portable power station, I thought the controls could have been a bit better or even digital with an LED display but they do work perfectly. I liked that it also had wireless charging for phones, I like the case that comes with it giving good protection, I like that it will charge from a portable solar panel, and this is something I will be using when I get back to fishing in the new year. Overall this is a good solid powerful unit and in my opinion ideal for camping having a very high capacity, along with the 12v cigarette connection adding a good variety of devices you can hook up to it.
This has some serious punch and long life.
Got it to power my Cpap machine when away as an emergency and it handles it well a good 2 nights on a full charge
