5.0 out of 5 stars Very smart fitbi
I am a Fitbit fan. This Fitbit is a replacement for my first one that lasted for about 5 years. The luxe Fitbit is very slim and neat looking on my wrist. It has a much longer battery life than my first Fitbit. I use it not just for knowing the time, but for measuring my steps on a daily basis, indicating when messages and calls have reached my phone, and monitoring my sleep. I highly recommend this model. I had to replace the strap on my previous Fitbit a few times and expect I will have to do so with this one but that is not a problem. The straps are easy to buy and to fit onto the Fitbi
Love it. Buy one
It’s amazeballs and gets me up off my lazy ass
Great design, screen easily read feels soft against the skin.
The design, used to track my steps and vital sighs. Looks good day or night.
high accuracy and durable watch
he mobile app isn’t the best and can be quite confusing at times, there isn’t a lot of explanation. however the watch itself is very good, the screen size is perfect as it doesn’t get in the way of daily tasks and is very comfy. the screen is easy to read and very responsive! the battery is the best part, it lasts for ages without having to charge and maintains this without battery ageing.
Better than previous Fitbit, hope it lasts longe
Great fit for my very small wrist, easy to clip onto charging plug, better clearer display than my last Fitbi
Stylish and easy to set up
I especially like the buzz feature reminding me to get up and move about as I work at a computer all day and it’s easy to let time slip by. Also I have a very small wrist and was a bit worried about it looking too large but it’s perfect. Really happy with this purchase and the app which is great, it emails each week with your stats. A great motivator to get moving more. Would thoroughly recommend
Overall great watch. This is the second model of fitbit I have purchased and I love it. It’s small and practical. It has been my favourite so far. I would recommend it.
Love i
Had this this gifted to me over a year ago and I absolutely love it. Great battery life, app has a very friendly UI and it gives me all the data that I need. It’s hard to say the accuracy of the data though as I have nothing to compare it too.
Like;
– Design/feel
– Value for money
– Simple and effective to use; does everything you need and intuitively
Could be improved;
– The app is a bit buggy syncing on iOS, but works well enough with a few refreshes
– App design/UI is also basic
– Would be good if you could swipe away notifications, you have to clear each one manually which can be annoying
It is okay, but not perfect.
Best thing is how the app uses the data from it to give you usefull info about your training and your health.
Worst thing is the display brightness. I do Parkrun (a weekly 5k race,) and although I started the ‘run timing’ at the start, I was unable to stop it at the end because the sun had come out and I couldn’t make out the display. I had to find some shade to stop the timing, there is no physical button so you have to use the touch screen.
Also the heart rate measurement was quite random for the first day or so but settled down after that. I assume that it either calibrates itself, or I learned the best way to wear it.
So far so good
Got this for my son’s birthday. His previous Fitbit gave up the ghost (after years of mistreatment it should be said, not the fault of the item) and he asked for another one as his birthday present. Really likes it.
Stylish Fitbi
Been looking for a stylish small Fitbit and this one fits the bill. I have a small wrist and it is just right size. Battery lasts 5 days without charging. The app is really good, easy to understand. Only negative is it shows more steps than my previous fitbits, it seems to count steps when I just move my arm? Love the fact it knows what type of exercise I am doing, walking or aerobic. Would recommend.
I usually like to wear my watches on the inside of my left wrist. After receiving the Fitbit luxe I put it on the same way, just as my previous Fitbit inspire 2 (which had not this problem). Now, the luxe did not read my heart rate at all, which made me contact Fitbit for help but they had no information whether the heart rate sensor was damaged or not (as the light worked), I was meant to monitor the watch for a few days.
But obviously I wanted it to work so I kept looking online for what the problem could be.
A website said some watches can’t read heart rate if the watch sits on a tattoo, which I have on the inside of my wrist. So I turned the watch and literally immediately the heart rate sensor started working with no problem whatsoever.
I have tattoos on both of my inner wrists so I can’t even swap hands, but given I like it better than my previous watch I decided to just wear it like a normal human being and so far so good.
Just watch out in case you have tattoos all around your wrist. Especially if you have it on both. It’s highly likely it won’t work for heart rate monitoring.
Great for a healthy lifestyle
Really great, helped me get active again.
Responsiveness of the touchscreen went down after a week or so, now I have to tap it quite hard to turn on. But still enjoying learning about my fitness through it.
A bit small to read
Love the slimness of the watch. Clock face is easily read but didn’t consider the small display would be harder to read than my bigger fit bit. I struggle to get the screen to display the time too, takes a few swipes
Previously had a Charge 4 which was forever “digging” into my arm with the weird, rather large concave section. Luxe is smaller and the sensor covers all over the underside of the watch. Brilliant. Far better and being small great for a smaller arm/person.
The app is reasonably easy to use. What confuses me is the differing information available on Fitbit app (on phone) compared to Fitbit “web” when using the PC. WHY?! Seriously just keep it all the same. Things like resting heart rate – 7 days on the app, a month on the PC.
Much better at correctly counting my steps when compared to previous Charge 4. Like the “heart zones” although not entirely sure what I should be aiming for. Anyway, if you want a lightweight, small but reasonably useful fitness tracker that is affordable, I’d give this a try.
