It takes a little getting used to but once you have it then you are good to go! Creates beautiful curls and gives your hair that freshly blow dried look! Would 100% recommend!

This is very gentle on the hair and easy to use for great styling. I’m not a natural at blow drying or curling, but this is very easy to use and I wouldn’t be without it – one of my best hair buys yet! If I can get a salon-styled look with these, then anyone can.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI love it but I have a huge concern. The box it came in is not a GHD box and the instructions are for a completely different styler. It says GHD on the tool. So I am going to get in touch as I’m now concerned I have a fake!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI was excited to receive my GHD hot brush and was really happy it warmed up in seconds BUT the ‘brush’ is too short so does not hold shorter hair so you need to cup your hand around to ensure the hair gets the heat which means you get burnt
Because the brush is short you constantly come into contact with the hot metal so I would suggest selling it with a heat resistant glove ?
I loved the results but am thinking of returning i

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersYes the price is high. That is my only stumbling block with this hot brush. It isn’t like your average hot brush, the design is very practical, heats up almost instantly and really performs well. Curls don’t drop out after just a short while, the heat manages to make the style last. I haven’t had any issues with burning my skin or fingers, just a bit of common sense when using anything that gets hot!! Hasn’t tangled in my hair like some I’ve used in the past and a few months down the line, used almost daily and not showing any sign of wear n tear and performs just as well as when I first used it! In short – you get what you pay for and this is a really special addition to my hair styling kit!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI love this hair tool. I use it to create a variety of styles. I can get a big bouncy blowdry, poker straight hair Or loose curls. It can create flicks and a soft turned under look.

It Is meant for height and volume and it does that perfectly.

To create various styles Kolmar I watched GHD videos on YouTube. These tutorials teach you all the ways of using this brush. I also love to use it on second day hair To straighten.

It is very simple to use. The heat button heats up very quickly and beeps when ready. There is a swivel cord to save getting tied up.The brush itself is sturdy and, like all GHD products, seems very robust and well made. Another feature is that your hair doesn’t tangle in it like previous hot brushes I have used. The style lasts all day too.

Excellent product, I highly recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersNever had a hot brush before, I’ve always associated them with my Nan! My straighteners didn’t give my hair much oomph so I was looking for something for non wash days. I wasn’t sure about the GHD rise on the first few uses. It was a bit of a faff to use and I managed to get my hair tangled then panicked I’d burn it off! But, once I got the hang of it I’ve decided I love it! I have shoulder length, fine hair but a LOT of it and it has a mind of its own so styling can be hit and miss. I’ve found I can get as much volume and style with these as a blow dry. The bristles mean I can get the barrel really close to my head without burning which gives the roots lots of lift and then I can twist or flick my hair in any way I want, curl it under or make waves. I find my hair hasn’t felt as dry or damaged as when I use my straighteners either as I don’t need to hold it in for very long and can move the brush down the strands, so that’s a bonus. The only reason I’ve knocked a star off for value for money is that it doesn’t feel as well made as my previous GHD products I’ve had, not quite as solid and sturdy so I hope it lasts!

I bought this after my Dyson airwrap accessories started to fall out of the main unit due to damaged lugs, and I decided to try ghd as an alternative. My hairdresser also uses ghd straighteners and I like the results they get when using them. The brush heats up very quickly and styles easily. It gets quite hot, so take care not to burn your fingers. My hair is very fine and tends to drop a little by the end of the day but hairspray helps! All in all, very pleased with this brush.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMisunderstood what they were. Should have read it properly. Having said that I really like these. I find them easy to use and they do a good job. Adds volume and curls to my hair. So happy

Amendment – warning – just be careful not to drop it on anything hard, I’ve lost many of the little bristles after it fell from a shelf and hit an open drawer.

I’m really happy with this – creating soft waves or curls and combating frizz. Tried air brushes before and found them hopeless to style with, this achieves everything I want to and more.
However, didn’t tell find it produced the root volume it claims to create in the method used in the video. Also, I have very fine hair and would have preferred a lower heat setting option too.
The power off button is easy to hit because of its positioning – but – cleverly GHD make sure that it needs a longer hold to turn off.
Heats up super fast and cools pretty quickly. Long cord. Really pleased I bought it.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI was really wary about spending so much on a hot brush (my previous brush cost about 15!) but I’ve had this two months now and am very pleased with it. It heats up very quickly and gets very hot but still seems gentle on my hair which is fine and easily damaged. Curls generally holds pretty well. I’ve knocked a star off as the on/off switch is in a stupid place, exactly where I hold the brush and I’ve accidentally switched it off a couple of times while using.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI love that this hot brush heats up superfast in the morning. 25 seconds! And the cord is nice and long for me to reach the mirror. It is easy to use and doesn’t entangle my hair. It is the first time I have used a ghd product as I have always found them too expensive. I still think that this product was too expensive, even after a 50 discount which then made it 119 to buy! If you like ghd products then I would recommend as you will no doubt like this one.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersI’m not good at all with hairs gadgets ( and I’ve had a fair few in my time!!)
I was looking at the Dyson Airwrap, the cost of it was immense to say the least, and would I really use all of the items in the kit?? not to mention the faff of changing them each time I wanted to style the opposite side??
Then I saw the GHD Rise!! looked at the reviews, also a lot cheaper than the Airwrap, It looked so similar to the old Braun Independent I use to create my flicks with back in the early 80’s! I found this easy to use back then as my hair was, and still is flat, fine and lifeless
Well, I have had the GHD Rise now for a couple of days, and all I can say is Wow!! its amazing, I have bounce, curls or flicks, which ever I desire, in just one handing light wand, so easy to use, and my style is full of volume even the next day!! This is the first ever review I have ever made, I cannot praise the GHD Rise enough
    One very happy custome
