I was surprised how good it was for the cost. I only use it occasionally and it suits my needs.

We got this for someone for Christmas and he LOVED it. He couldn’t wait to try it out! It went over so well we’re ordering them for ourselves.

This is a fun piece of kit to have and give to other gear lovers. Perfect? No. But it’s a great gadget!

This Arc Lighter from Lafagiet arrived to me as described in the listing here. The lighter arrived to me in a basic box without much information on it other than that a Lighter is contained within. Upon unpacking the box there is the lighter, a lanyard with an emergency whistle, USB-C charging cable, and an instruction pamphlet.

The instruction pamphlet doesn’t explain much about the operation of the lighter, however operating the lighter is pretty straight-forward. One side of the instruction pamphlet features a diagram of the lighter pointing out the features, and the reverse side of the pamphlet lists the specs for the lighter. The lighter’s cover opens with the push of a button, and there is also a safety lever on the lighter’s case that helps hold the lid in position so that an accidental push of the button while in your pocket or whatnot won’t cause the lighter’s lid to accidentally pop open. The lid is on a spring, so when open, it stays out of the way. The button to activate the lighter is easily accessible, and the arc happens immediately after pressing the button.

There is a blue light on the top of the lighter near the USB-C port that is used for charging the lighter. This blue light will illuminate while the lighter is charging, and the blue light will turn off when charging is complete. Simple.

There is a small round button on the side of the lighter’s case that is used for activating the small flashlight built into the bottom of the lighter. The flashlight cycles through High-Beam, Low-Beam, Strobe, and back again. It’s not too dim of a light on High-Beam mode so it’s actually somewhat useful and a decent addition to the lighter.

The lighter’s exterior case has a non-slip grip surface to it and I found it easy to handle. Overall, this lighter arrived to me as expected, operates just fine, and I have no complaints!

Great Arc lighter, built-in flashlight is a nice bonus

I like this lighter because it doesn’t use chemical fuel and it is wind resistant. With a USB-C charging port, you can “re-fuel” the charger whenever you need and it is easy to do. The light is simple, easy to use. It has a right size to hold it. Thumbs up!

I like the compact size of this lighter flashlight. Great for my car glove box for emergencies, or hiking (though I prefer a long handle one for lighting burners or candles, etc).

Lafagiet’s Type-C Dual Electric arc Rechargeable Lighter is very nice and works great…
I wish it had a way to change batteries instead of a usb cable but aside from the very nice indeed.
I love that you don’t have to have any type of fuel and it is all electric. The flashlight is very nice as well and very bright for such a small LED. I wish the plastic case came in different color options.
There is a l dim light, a brighter light and a strobe option as well, just keep pushing the button until you get to the one you want/need to use. The included lanyard is even nice. Two thumbs up and four out of five stars but only due to the fact that you also might need to carry around the usb recharging cable. If the lighter/flashlight had removable batteries (AAA) or a place built into the unit to store the USB cable or both then this would easily be a Two thumbs up and five star item! The electric arc runs for about 20 minutes before it need to be recharged. The flashlight will runs for a lot longer than the electric arc which means you can use the flashlight a lot longer than the electrical arc for starting fires. I had to recharge the unit, the flashlight still had plenty of power but the electrical arc would not ignite until I put the lighter back on the charger Sio while the unit has power the until must have a higher level of power for the electrical arc to work so keep that in mind when using.
    Good day & God Bless…

I got this lighter for my daughter in law. It is a nice lighter. This lighter also has a 3 mode flashlight. It came with a charging cable and a lanyard. The charging port is in the chrome part by the lighter. The lighter comes in a waterproof container.

Pretty simple device. I really like plasma lighters in general and own another with a long extension, but it’s not portable. This lighter fits the bill for portability (fits in your pocket like any other lighter) and closes up to be fully weather resistant and also has an integrated LED light.

These are great for lighting candles, having an emergency light always in your pocket, or for outdoor activity where you want a lighter and light ready to go. Definitely recommend. Great little design and well built.

Lafagiet Type-C Rechargeable Lighter, Dual Electric arc, Waterproof, Flame-Less, Windproof Plasma lighter
This lighter is so neat! It passed all of my tests with flying colors. I love that it comes in a waterproof container that you can seal up while camping, hiking, backpacking, fishing, and hunting. It is nice to know that my lighter will be ready when I need it. I also like that I can easily top it off using my solar panels while out in the backcountry. No need for fuel.
One thing that I really like is that they added a usb-c port. The other lighters around have a micro USB port which is being phased out. It is nice to be able to charge it with the cables that I already have around for my phone Bluetooth headphones and other equipment. I also like the included light. I can think of many occasions in which this could come in handy.
I will be taking this on some trips into the backcountry soon and will update this review if I have anything else to add. I have no question that it will perform well. Build quality seems very good and it has been able to ignite anything I have thrown at it. Battery seems to last very long as well. I’m going to have to get a couple of these to give to my outdoor buddies.

    Super Fun Plazma Lighter!

This lighter has a lot of cool things it can do that makes it great for most situations. It comes with a waterproof case, a lanyard with a whistle on the end, a USB-C charging cord and a light with three modes. It has a strong plasma arc for lighting just about anything on fire! One thing that I have noticed with these plasma lighters, they have a hard time lighting stuff that you can’t directly stick into the plasma arc. For instants, it has a hard time lighting a pipe of any kind. Other than that, this lighter seems pretty rugged and a great lighter to have in an EDC pack, hiking backpack, RV or camper!

Item description is accurate. It came in a sturdy little box and came with a charging cord and lanyard. I like that there is a clasp on the opening mechanism to keep it from opening while in your pocket (or keep young children from opening it). It got hot pretty quickly, and looks pretty cool! Honestly I love it! I bought it for a gift for my husband since it is rechargeable and doesn’t need to be refilled. My husband goes through disposable lighters like crazy and the refillable ones are a pain. He also loses his lighters all the time to the lanyard is a nice touch. I also like the feel in my hand if your one of those people who buy things based on how they feel like me lol so far so good! I’ll update the review if there are any issues! So far I’m pretty pleased
