Lego Ducati
Another fantastic Lego Technic kit, as always fantastic instructions, a brilliant Ducati motorbike
Great buy
Was bought for a present for my brother and boy was he excited. He assembled it as soon as I gave it to him and he loved it. He said it wasn’t easy or too challenging and he really enjoyed putting it together.
It’s a really cool little bike when fully assembled and would make for a great display item.
Definitely for patient adults!
My husband loves this and it’s keeping him quiet! Definitely a long job but very very detailed so far and high quality. Great present!
Very impressed
Many years since I built a Lego technics and wow did I enjoy it. Amazed at the smart design and engineering. Needed a little guidance from a couple of YouTube videos but that’s probably down to my lack of experience. Spurred on to try anothe
An excellent gift for the young at hea
My father will turn 90 in a few months and he has always enjoyed tinkering in his shed and keeping the family car running (a few years ago now).
Thought he might like this for Christmas and he was overjoyed. He builds a little of it at a time, mainly because he doesn’t want it to be over too quickly I think, and enjoys the slightly technical aspect to the build. Good, clear instructions and no missing parts (actually a few small extras). He loved it.
Good product 4the money.
Gave as a Xmas present so good all round. Product.
One of the best sets to buy
Works perfectly fine all parts are in the box came at the right time
Bought as birthday present for 37 year old, he was very happy as the last one he had built was when he was 16.
Loved it.
Built qith 4 year old grandson had good time dpent with him
Had a great time building this set, it looks cool on the shelf and is at a great price. Would recommend.
A medium sized model with the usual clear instructions you’d expect from Lego results in a nice model Ducati. A fairly straightforward build that shouldn’t take you too long to complete.
There’s nothing not to like love building this and now on to next build
I finished building this and it looks fantastic when I put it next to my other models. Some parts was easy to put together and the packaging was good when delivered
Great Item
My boy needed adult help in some parts as they was difficult to put together but amazing once done
This was my second best lego ever! I really liked the moving pistons and the gears. But theres one problem that dosen’t really matter. The windscreen dosen’t fit properly but otherwise it’s good. It took me 1 and a half days to build.
Best of the bes
This was my first Lego Technic build. I hadn’t actually ever seen one until I built this one so it was a bit of a gamble. I never really had lego as a child either. Man alive did this satisfy my inner child. It was brilliant to construct the inner workings of the bike and the moment you have the pistons going up and down before putting into the chassis just blew my mind.
I actually wanted the BMW 1000RR however this seemed a great price for a first build and I’m glad I did.
Like others, I removed a chain link and the chain sits nicer and operates fine. My only criticism is that there is no seat or foot pegs.
Lego technic Ducati
This was a great and enjoyable Lego kit to put together the only thing I disliked is the way the stand was designed I’d prefer if it was made more stronger to hold the bike up because of its wait apart from that well worth buying and building
Big Lego kit for the price.
Surprisingly big kit. I’ve seen similar size kits at more then double this price.
As always simple to follow instructions.
Really pleased.
I bought this for my granddaughter. It was delivered on time and was complicated, but relatively straight forward to assemble. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and the assembled model looks great. I also bought separately a lighting kit for it which was straight forward to fit, but fiddly and relatively expensive. The overall effect is great though and you can control the colour and flash of the lights using the remote control provided. Kept grandad busy for a couple of days too!
This set number 42107 has 646 pieces/bricks. Comes with 6 non numbered bags. That means you have to lay out the entire 646 pieces to do the build. An enjoyable, satisfying build. Blocks fit together nicely. The instruction manual consists of 119 pages, 209 steps to complete. Instruction easy to follow, however there are steps with in depth, complicated drawings. Quite a number of gear wheels to fit. Also has gears neutral, one and two.
The windshield is made of flimsy plastic, very soft. Also the rear stand although it holds the bike upright, I my opinion its not very effective, could have been better designed.
In conclusion: Overall a lovely, enjoyable, satisfying set. If you love bikes, this set is a must have. I would recommend the Ducati Panigale, V4R.
Great fun as usual
I love these technic lego sets! I’ve built a racing car or two and this was the first bike one I had seen. I did think with it being a bike it would be less challenging, how wrong was I? Great build and quite a substantial size which is also a bonus
A good challenge.
Bought this for my son age 12. He enjoyed it but it is not a simple kit. It takes concentration and several hours work. Likely to need some adult help in places. But if your daughter or son is interested in engineering or bikes then they will love it and so will you!
I used to love Lego when I was younger and with having a 5 year old boy that had all different types of Lego and the bonding time it gives us with me helping him build it I thought I would re live my younger years and buy one for myself.
I can safely say this is the first and last Lego technics I will buy myself, it’s built, all the moving parts don’t work and it probably has bits missing but it looks good.
I didn’t find the instructions great help either as I got side tracked a bit and by the time I realised I had to take bits apart and try again.
As for the Lego itself it has came along way in recent years and it is great, you can’t doubt that.
I bought this on a Amazon deal as well so only paid around 30 for it so was happy with the price
Would recommend if your into Lego, if you are like me and think you would like to get back into it like the good old days then I suggest you try something else.
Great kind thoughtful gif
Bought it for my ex weeks before he dropped me . Was supposed to be a nice thought as he lives his motorbike unfortunately more than me. Sure this will enhance his love e for his bike and once he’s made it can look at it lovingly to remind him of his bike covered up in his back yard . Happy Days .
Good quality but need to concentrate
I started this some months ago and was having trouble with the gear box. Took it a part and it went together fine – so my error don’t know where. Really enjoyed this kit and it looks good on shelf.
No remote control ( why ask the question) assembly not 100% straightforward but that is the challenge younger Lego modellers may need a little help – that is not a negative in my mind
Enjoyed building this and it had some surprisingly complex steps within the build. The gear box is very good and it’s fancy bit of engineering to fit it all in the space – just like a real bike. Nice touches like the exposed clutch as per the real thing and also the body work.
weakest part is the screen, which is made up of two ninjago swords and a stiffer than normal bit of plastic – it looks cheap and was fiddly to construct. Think they could have done better.
The stand is also a bit of an odd design, not being overly stable – bit of customisation sorts that out quickly though. This also isn’t really a play thing at the end, unlike some earlier Technic bits – just like the real thing again it’s a bit highly strung with wobbly forks and other bits that don’t lend itself to racing around.
That said, overall this is a good quality, enjoyable build and the final model does looks very impressive on the shelf – it’s pretty big too.
