Mercury | Universal Battery Tester with Accurate digital Screen | Test AA, AAA, C, D and 9V PP3 Batteries & Button Cells

Do your battery operated devices seem to be running slow, even after you’ve replaced the batteries? Don’t waste anymore time with removing or inserting faulty, old or out of date batteries, simply test the batteries and resolve the issue accurately the first time.

Always know if any batteries have remaining charge. One battery when paired with multiple batteries always gets drained of its power/voltage quicker than the others. Test all the batteries when the electrical device fails and rule out one battery rather than all.

Save money by not throwing away perfectly good working batteries.

In the old days sitting down with 80 batteries and a multi-meter after the Christmas decorations came down……..checking to see which batteries were still useable was a nightmare. Took me about 10 minutes with this little unit. Outstanding piece of kit.

I bought this item thinking that the reading which is shown on the display would be accurate but when I used the batteries there is almost no or limited power in the batteries

This appears accurate but only works when the tested battery has a reasonable voltage.
So if your battery is good you will get an accurate result, if it isn’t you get nothing. If you need a
Wat to measure low voltages then I suggest getting the analogue display version.
The lowest voltage that I measured was 1.2v

Easy use. Fits alot of different sizes of batteries. Screen is nice and clear to read.

No need for batteries to power this. An excellent simple tool.

While great for the price, batteries often have to be half at a funny angle between the contacts to be read. This is likely just because of the mass production and lack of accuracy by a couple millimetres, but still it means it’s often more than just “drop it in, close it up, read the value”.
As for accuracy, I have no true way of rating that as I would need another tester to double check…
Serves its purpose, and I no longer pick up a random pair of batteries and think “I hope these are decent”!
