  • -Does this MP3 player support networking?
  • Answer: We’re sorry, but our MP3 player doesn’t currently support networking and Spotify. But you can download Spotify songs to your computer and transfer them to MP3 via USB cable.
  • -What should I do If the M10 model machine suddenly shuts down and cannot be turned on again?
  • Answer: Please connect to the computer via USB-C to charge, then press and hold the pause button for more than 8-10 seconds, if there is still no response, you can apply for a return.
  • -Can MP3 be charged directly with a mobile phone charger with a USB-C interface?
  • Answer: Hello, MP3 has a USB-C interface, but there are 75W and 150W fast charging for mobile phones, and the battery capacity of MP3 is relatively small. If you charge directly with the fast charging plug, it is easy to cause MP3 burnout (M4 battery capacity is 300mAh, M10 battery capacity is 240mAh). In order to prolong the service life of the device, we recommend connecting it to a computer via a USB-C data cable for charging, which is the most friendly to the battery. If the device suddenly fails to turn on, ask for more help, thank you for your support.

    Cheap but cheerful.
So frustrating that initially – and for some considerable time – I simply could not get a Bluetooth connection between Ear Buds and Device despite following (I think) the very limited instructions. I was about finished with trying, to be frankl, and imagining having to package it all up and send it back. But then – without understanding what I’d done that I hadn’t previously done and many times – a connection was made.
So all’s well and so far (though yet early days) well worth the money. Cannot understand, though, how paying for a more expensive item – and some cost a great deal more – can possibly provide a better experience other than the cheap feel.

I spotted this Swofy as a potential replacement for my wonderful but ageing Sansa Clip which isn’t lasting very long any more with its battery life. The Clip now lives in the car where a power bank assists it for battery power – but that’s a bit clunky so I’m hoping to replace it. My son ordered the Swofy for me as a present.

It’s the same kind of design and size as the Clip (10% bigger, say), plays all 1000s of tracks on shuffle (with a 5-band EQ) as per my requirement, has a more modern display, and the on/off switch is a good positive slide one compared to the the Clip’s “lean on me for a while” push button. Also the Swofy resumes playing on switch-on from where it was on switching off, like the Clip. So far so good – and the audio sounds OK too. All my many GB’s of music copied onto the stock Swofy from the PC in about an hour, with room to spare – compared to the Clip which was running out of space even with an extra card in it.

The Clip does a brilliant job of transitions from one track to the next, it’s like having my own personal radio station sometimes.

The Swofy though, for some reason best knowm to themselves, doesn’t play each track at full volume right from the start. There’s a quick fade-in, which doesn’t seem like the end of the world but you do lose the initial crash of percussion on tracks that start with some attack. Over the years I created all my MP3s to have at least 0.15 seconds of silence at the start, because VLC player was as bad too (WinAmp is fine!), so to still suffer this kind of ineptitude from a player is very annoying!

I can just about live with that, but it spoils my musical enjoyment every time I notice it – which is rather often.

I’ve saved the biggest annoyance until last – the reason why this is NOT a full replacement for the Clip…

How many button presses do you think are reasonable to skip to the next track? With the Clip, one button press is enough – at any time – to bypass a track I’m not interested in, and get to the next.

The Swofy designers though, had other ideas, for reasons best known to themselves ….
1 press to wake it up and light up the screen again
1 more press to get back to the playing mode display
1 more press finally does the trick to change anything (forwards, back, pause, etc.)

That’s absurd, and utterly unacceptable. Why oh why can’t that kind of annoyance at least be a configurable option somewhere in the menus?

Oh, and don’t forget that these players aren’t as good as a phone if you’re hoping to use the buttons on your earbuds lead to pause or skip tracks either (the Clip didn’t allow that either, to be fair). You’re better off using an old phone for your music in that case.

32GB is a lot of good quality songs. And with FM radio which works well with a good headphone.

This is a nice little electronics to use for when you travel or alone. I have loaded it with some of wonderful old songs to hear, and I have been enjoying it well.

I have a AT headphones which does well and gives a good output. The charging also stays well.

It can support upto 128GB but I havent tried how well it will do with such a stretched limit of space.

At the price of 27.99, this is a good product to buy and use especially if you like slightly older tech.

I was their, I was there at the forging of basic MP3 players. This is a great little MP3 player. it’s extremely simple to use and operate and it’s small enough to take with you anywhere you want to go. the battery life is decent. with medium use it’ll lasts 2 or 3 day’s.

it’s very basic. simple load up your favorite MP3’s onto a micro SD card and away you go. I would suggest that you take the time to put your music into playlist folders. it makes finding and locating your playlists allot easier and there’s less aimless searching for badly labeled folders and files, don’t front we all do that thing where we download a music file without properly naming or labeling it.

The sound quality is decent IF you have decent headphones. the ones supplied aren’t overlay great for good sound quality but they’ll do for using right out of the box.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt's a tiny beauty.. I love it!!
Really love this little guy! Looks lovely and slick. It’s super easy to plug in your pc/laptop and transfer over music files etc.. What’s great also is that although you can pop in an extra micro SD card for extra file storage, you don’t need to straight away. As it has 31gb(you never get the full advertised GB) of inbuilt storage capacity without any SD card inserted. The blue tooth range is very good too, as it’s Bluetooth connectivity 5 that it uses, so pretty good. I tested it out with my sound core mini wireless speaker and it wasn’t until I went in the garden with speaker, and I’d left the mp3 player upstairs on landing that it started loosing connection. So Bluetooth very good with this too. The wired ear phones it comes with are actually quite comfortable with my ears, and are very good quality for freebies. So I often just clip the player on one of my trouser pockets, and use the wired ears phones it came with throughout the day to listen to my music etc..

So all in all I am super happy with this player, I have two of these clip mp3 players now, and they both really good for listening to music on. And they are quite cheap for how helpful they are.. The only downside I would say(and I am being picky now) is that sometimes the buttons do feel about fiddly to press. As it is so tiny, sometimes it can be easy to press the wrong button etc.. I do have large hands myself, so I do find myself having to concentrate a tad harder making sure I press the right button I want to etc.. But this is being picky and it doesn’t really bother me tbh, because in every other way this is a great little player. But I can imagine someone with fat fingers(no disrespects intended) struggling with this aspect though, so I thought it worth mentioning..
All in all I think this is awesome and I love it though! 5stars for me

It’s not a fancy MP3 player but it works.

Good sound quality and holds enough music to get you through a good run or work out.

Clips to your belt. Or waistband

    Small but mighty

    Surprisingly good sound!
I ordered this, as I was in need of a player with bluetooth, in order to try out some bluetooth ear pods (reviewed separately) I already have a similar player that has far fewer features than this one, so i wanted to see if this one would sound better too.
    Use
This comes in a box with wired headphones (dubious quality) a 3.5mm jackplugged cable for direct connections and a USB C charge cable. I soon had it up and running with a 64Gb micro SD card I already had for my previous player (why do they call these “TF cards” now?) after a quick charge it was ready to go. It has 7 buttons on the front and a volume switch on the side plus a slide switch for on/off at the top.
After a bit of faffing around I managed to figure out how to get the music playing – it is fairly simple once you have worked out what the buttons do! I managed to get it paired with the ear pods with no bother at all, and once I had got the hang of how they worked too, I was away. I have also tried this with the wired earbuds as well (mainly to test FM radio, as they are needed to act as an aerial for the radio)
I must say the sound on this is pretty good, and for the money this costs, I think it is outstanding value, and I shall be using this a lot in the future I think.
It has an internal memory, (which I didn’t try) of 32Gb, which is fine to start off with, and supports several codecs, including up to 320bps MP3s which mine happen to be.
The player itself is truly tiny, ie it would fit into a matchbox, this means a tiny screen, its true, but though a bit grainy the screen is adequate as a text display to see what tracks you are playing, it also plays videos too, but sideways, as the screen ration is around 4:3, I regard this as a bit of a gimmick, like most of the other features, like calendar, pedometer etc, I think as a music player its perfectly fine. Incidentally they do offer one with a touchscreen, but I think that might be a pest if you pop it in your pocket and it starts skipping tracks etc – I think you know where you are with the buttons on this model.
    Conclusion
If you just want a cheapo MP3 player that plays your MP3s off of a micro SD card up to 128Gb very well, this is what you need! I found it worked very well indeed with some budget ear pods via bluetooth and I was truly surprised at the sound quality I got from it. No idea how long it’ll last, but I still have a similar one I bought a couple of years ago (different make) and it still works fine.

Fast delivery and packed so well. This mp3 player came with one charging cable , one 3.5 mm cable, one headphones and manual. As you can see the video this player has so many other functions. It has Bluetooth option so can connect with bluetooth earphones. It is so light weight so easy to carry. Pedometer is also there. It supports max 128gb sd card. Sound quality is very good. Everything is working fine. Definitely recommend….

An amazing range of options for such a tiny device.
Mini Clip MP3 Player: I’d not expected this to be so “Mini”, it really is quite wee, however that doesn’t stop it from doing everything thing you need and more.

I suspect that this is considered as retro technology for many but for anyone, like me, who doesn’t do very well at keeping up, this is pretty good. It linked really easily to my laptop and TV but doesn’t appear to link with a smart phone or tablet. Downloading was straightforward and with a 32gb memory you can get a significant amount of music on this player. It comes with all required cords and a pair of ear buds and once charged you have many hours of playing time.

For such a little thing it actually has a very good sound quality and an astonishing amount of options for use including radio, which I love, but many of which I’ll never use. This is a good option for someone who likes a simple life. It’s quick, easy and straightforward but for only 27.99 does a really good job of holding all of your sounds safely.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGood value replacement for iPod Shuffle
For 27*99 I wasn’t expecting an all-singing-all-dancing mp3 player, but what Swify mpf player does is exactly what I needed to replace my now dead Apple iPod 4 — 8 years old (also pictured) separate from my needing to use my iPhone which I often use for navigation. I wanted a device to play music through my car system’s 3*5mm audio input socket, and it does. The sound quality is excellent and the battery life so far is as expected. As with all devices, the menu takes some getting used to, and the instructions that come with it are extensive in languages, but brief in detail.

The only problem I encountered with the menus was switching off the ‘shuffle’ feature. This was solved by contacting the supplier who gave me simple instructions within a couple of hours: From the ‘Play mode’ menu, select ‘Repeat’ and choose either ‘Repeat 1’ (which means a single pass through the songs in track order) or ‘Repeat all’ (which repeats all the songs in track order until you stop it). Only the ‘Shuffle’ setting shuffles the tracks. Obvious, really!

I use an iMac Pro, and as you can see, the computer readily recognises the mp3 player as a flash drive. You cannot use Music (iTunes as was) to directly load the player, but by creating folders within the ‘Music’ folder on the player, you can simply drag-and-drop directly from the Music window. (Alternatively, right-click on the tracks, choose ‘Show in Finder’ then drag-and-drop from there.) The music must be downloaded [from iCloud] onto your computer for you to be able to copy the tracks to the mp3 player, or any drive for that matter.

The only issue with track order seems to arise if you have albums with more than one disc, which you can create as a single album in Apple Music. the Swify mp3’s operating system seems to have problems with the metadata created by Apple Music if you do that. For single-disc albums, I have had no problems. The player can handle Apple audio file formats perfectly

I would expect this would work if you run iTunes/Music on Windows as well, but I haven’t tried it as I don’t have a Windows computer, and doing it through Parallels on my Mac probably wouldn’t be a genuine test as the Mac OS still handles input/output functions!

So far haven’t tested the other features such as FM radio, audio recording, video, e-book (.rtf actually), pictures, and pedometer as I didn’t buy the device for those purposes! I have an iPhone X which does all those (except the pedometer, and I am sure there is an app for that!) very well and with a much bigger screen. However, on the basis of the Swify’s performance as an mp3 player, I have no doubt they work too.

    Have fun!

Reminds me of my old SansaClip!
This is never going to be an iPod or as convenient as a touch screen player, but nevertheless this is still a decent buy, especially as iPods are being phased out. It reminds me quite a lot of my old Sansa Clip (in a good way!) which we were more than happy with back in the day!

Sound quality is good on both MP3s and radio, navigation is easy if a little basic. Loading with files was simple. Playlists are a sticking point though; adding each song manually to a numbered but unnamed list is going to be annoying so I’ll probably only ever use this on shuffle all. Despite that, I think overall it does a good job and I will happily use this as my back-up player.

    Perfect for Hiking
I take my phone out on hikes, but prefer to keep it in my bag. I don’t like carrying it around in my pockets, but I find listening to music or podcasts is great for long walks. This sorts both issues. This great little MP3 player is so small and lightweight that you could easily tuck it into the hem of your trousers or, as the clip proves, just attach it to your shirt. It has strong grip, and won’t come off easily – even if you’re jogging or running.
The player itself has very little in the way of set up, and is clearly formatted. Its layout proves easy to understand, and you can easily import all the songs you might need. Finding them is just as easy. The earphones provided are actually really good quality, and the sound quality is brilliant! There’s also a pedometer which is a neat touch. Generally, this is just a neat little MP3 player, and perfect for those who listen to audio on the go, but either don’t take their phone with them, or keep it in their bag. This is portable, long-lasting and boasts great sound – as well as a large amount of space for hundreds, if not thousands of songs.

    Much more than I expected...
I had ordered a MP3 Player and got much more than I expected. Apart from being a MP3 Player this little gadget is also a radio, a pedometer, a BT (Bluetooth( Player and even an eBook reader.

This little gadget can also store and playback video files but there are two issues with that. The 1st issue is that one will need to rip and convert videos to .avi format and .avi is old tech that delivers low resolutions, low quality media. The 2nd issue is the screen being only around 1″ (one inch) so it will be fine to playbck videos on the screen with a good magnifying glass otherwise video playback is impractical and pointless.

This MP3 Player is designed with excercise in mind. It’s small enough to fit in small pockets, clutch bags etc. and it can also be clipped onto a lapel, breast pocket etc. so it is good for when using treadmills in a gym or going for a brisk walk. The pedometer can record the number of steps taken whilst one listens to one’s favourite music or FM radio.

Memory can be expanded with a memory card and this little box is compatable with cards up to 128Gb so that can easily be 1,000s of tracks to listen to. However, when using a memory card for the first time it might not be immediately compatable as the card may need to be formatted first, which is simple to do via a PC / laptop. Simply put the card into a PC / laptop, click on the start menu, select “My PC” then right click on the drive associated with the card. From the menu select “Format” and then “Full Format” and that is it the card is ready to be used in this player.

Overall, the quality of this device is good, it has numerous options for use, it even comes with a basic headset that performs reasonably well and it is good value so I am recommending it even though it may perform better with one’s own headset rather than the one supplied.

Basic hardware but works perfectly well with my Bluetooth earbuds
This is a good value music player with a decent but very basic interface.

This Swofy music player works very well if you are mainly just looking to load it with music and then listen to the music (as opposed to wanting to customise options). The screen is NOT a touch screen. In fact, the mp3 player is controlled by the physical buttons just underneath the screen.

I wanted to try this little music player as an option at the gym. This little Swofy player is so lightweight that I can clip it on the waistband of my shorts and literally not notice its weight. It is much smaller and much, much lighter than my phone. The clip is also strong enough that I can run on a treadmill and the player stays on the waistband of my shorts without falling off.

Sound quality is good – in that it sounds no different to what is produced by my phone. The Bluetooth also means that I can use my wireless earbuds to listen to music.

The player does play videos, but the screen is very small and the image quality is not great. The screen is fine for seeing what track I’m listening to, but I really wouldn’t want to watch an kind of video on it when even a pretty basic smartphone these days has a better quality screen than this player.

So, I’m finding this a great music player for the fact that it is SO lightweight. It plays music perfectly well through my Bluetooth wireless earbuds. The 32GB built-in memory should be plenty for my gym dance and pop playlists. Overall then, I’m pleased with its simple functionality and basic design.

    Handy MP3 playe
Well, of course it does more than play MP3, as it handles several codecs, but I think it only really works as a music player. The radio is pretty poor really and I can’t see you would ever view video or pictures.

But as a music player this is good. It is very like the Sansa clip that I had a decade or so ago. Except it has Bluetooth and a lot more storage. Battery life is excellent and it it is so light. Bluetooth is the game changer for me. No more wires getting in the way.

Music reproduction is fine. You can play by artist, album, or folder. You can easily create playlists. The only issue I have is that I have yet to work out how to turn on hold so that it doesn’t get knocked on.

Overall: there is still a place in my heart for this little player even in these days of streaming. This is cheap and effective, and it means my phone can be safely stored away.

This mp3 player is really tiny, the size of a matchbox. It comes with a charging cable and earphones.
It has a built in clip to attach it to a pocket or sleeve. It has 32 gb of built in memory but also a micro sd card slot for a card up to 128gb
It was simple to connect this to my macbook and transfer music across. There is the possibility for storing files and it also has a pedometer
The sound quality is good through the wired headphones, it also has blue tooth connectivity.
22.39 is a very good price for this tiny mp3 playe

    Amazing little device.
I was surprised how tiny this mp3 player was . Not much bigger than a mans watch .
However it packs a punch . Not only can it store 1000s of tunes and record too plus storing images , it has an FM Radio (wired earphones need to be plugged in for aerial)
Navigating the various menus takes time to get used to .
It also has bluetooth transmit to connect to ear pods or speaker .
A great little old school mp3 player.

Swafy Brand MP3 Player with FM Radio, Recording and assorted menus
Swafy branded MP3 player. Nicely packaged in a gift box with all leads, instruction manual and a basic pair of wired headphones (earbuds style).

MP3 players may have gone out of fashion with the huge increase in smart phone sales and use, not to mention their large capacity to store music, videos, books. However, after examining this MP3 player and I can see that there is still a market for these little pieces of tech and they certainly come into their own when exercising and not being able to carry a phone around, or just wanting something small and leave the large phone in a pocket or bag.

This model has a huge number of menus and, although relatively easy to go from one to the other, it does take a small learning curve to know what button to press and when. Note, the on/off is a tiny slider at the top of the player.

As well as storing a huge amount of music on the generous 32GB of storage built in (which can also be increased up to a massive 128GB by inserting a memory card), as well as music, there is an FM radio (although you must use wired headphones for radio since they also act as the receiving aerial), an audio recorder (to record your voice, for instance), a pedometer (ideal if you need to know how many steps you have taken), a clock, a stopwatch, calendar, plus facilities to see small videos or read e-Books on the tiny screen. All features are available through the menus and sub-menus, like all tech, a learning curve is necessary so that you remember where each setting is. The instruction book is quite thick but it is divided into many different languages. For my part, I found the English and it really is only a couple of pages long.

The player came almost fully charged and so I was able to get using it straight away. Firstly, I plugged the USB C lead (enclosed) into the player and then the standard USB 2 plug into my desktop. It was recognised immediately as an external drive and so it was easy to copy over a few folders of music for the trial run – and the copy was quite quick, I was surprised. By the way, when I plugged it into the computer it immediately went to charging mode. Simply press the button on the right of the bottom set of buttons to return to the normal display.

Using the wired headphones that come with the player, it was easy enough to adjust the volume (rocker switch on the right hand side). The sound was reasonable but I sure wouldn’t expect much more than that from small, inexpensive buds. But at least it showed the player worked first time.

There is a basic equalizer (if you can find it, I came across it by pure accident) and, as you can see from my pictures, this really is a small item so the screen itself is small. I could read it well enough, there was more than enough backlight on the screen and, from the main menu, it really is easy to tap left or right to go through the different options. When you get to the menu you want – Music, for example – there are several sub-menus such as shuffle, repeat, play song, play folder and so forth. Quite a bit for the new user to experiment with.

Given how small the screen is, I doubt if I would ever use it to view video or read e-Books, it is just too small for me, but it is still useful.

On the back of the player is a large clip that runs almost the whole length. This is perfect for fixing the player onto your clothes, an armband, belt, and is especially useful for exercise where a phone would be too bulky and heavy.

So far so good, and I found it quite straightforward to work through menus and select different options. It is the sub-menus that will require memorising, but no different to any other piece of tech. If anything, I would have a preference for having this on display rather than my hugely expensive smart phone, for obvious reasons.

Finally, bluetooth – and this is why I gave only 4 stars and not 5. It is a right pain! Easy enough to find the correct menu from the main screen, easy enough to go to the sub-menu to search for bluetooth options in the vicinity (here, meaning, earbuds or headphones), and easy also to select which one to use if you have already stored several different types. Again, so far so good… but it wasn’t. I tried two pairs of inexpensive but decent earbuds (price range of around 30 each), a better quality pair of earbuds (priced at over 90), and a very decent pair of headphones (priced at over 100). Out of the 4 different styles, only the expensive pair of earbuds were picked up and paired by this MP3 player – and I tried numerous times. However, the instructions clearly state that if using bluetooth headphones ensure that they are disconnected from your smart phone (and likely tablet also). I disconnected and “forgot” all of the buds and headphones I tested yet still only the more expensive buds would pair. Great – but it wasn’t great because even paired with the MP3 player there was absolutely no sound at all coming through.

Setting up the bluetooth was easy, pressing for it to search for bluetooth items nearby was easy, getting it to pair and remember even just the one pair of buds was easy, but that was it, silence. Now this could be my own fault, I might have missed a setting or not pressed a button somewhere, but I did find it extremely strange. For instance, I re-paired the expensive headphones to my smart phone which was in the lounge and instantly had the last radio station I listened to coming through (and I was about 15 or so meters away in another room!). I may have to play around a bit more with the MP3 player, it might not like any of my bluetooth buds or headphones, but it does work when wired.

To be honest, I did find this difficulty in pairing and setting up for bluetooth headphones a great disappointment. Additionally, if users have to either turn off their phones and tablets before connecting to this MP3 player and leave them off for as long as the player is within around 30m of the phone (or else turn off bluetooth on the phone and tablet), it does render this tech extremely limited. There was nothing further in the instructions to guide this bluetooth set-up, the whole thing is designed to be painless. It will need a bit more experimenting but, perhaps, simply turning off bluetooth on my phone and tablet would work – although that means I couldn’t use any other accessories for that time. I am not marking any of this down as a negative. My needs are likely very different from the needs of other people so please don’t let my initial experience put you off this player. I simply write out for this review the different steps I tried and what the results were.

What can you buy for twent odd pounds? Hardly anything now! Priced at 26.99 at the time of this review, I have to say it is quite a remarkably low price given what this little player can do. I recall MP3 players being highly popular some 15-20 years ago and they cost a lot more than this back then so don’t let the low price lead you to thinking this is a low quality item, because it isn’t, it is pretty good at what it does and is definitely worth the money. 32GB is a lot of memory to start of with and you could store thousands of tracks. For people who want more memory – perhaps for video – appropriately sized memory cards are not expensive at all now (see the instruction manual for full details of size and requirements), and that would mean tens of thousands of music tracks, for instance.

All in all, and in spite of my hair pulling trying to get any of my 4 bluetooth buds and headphones to work correctly at first attempt, I would certainly recommend this product. It is very useful, does far more than you would expect at this price, and the sturdy clip at the back will surely keep it safe when worn.

    Fantastic
What a fantastic little MP3 player. I have given this to my Son so that he can listen to his music on the bus on the way to school, more so that he doesn’t drain his battery in his mobile phone.

Its very light weight and portable, we have connected his wireless head phones up to it which was easy and they work really well with this. Doesn’t take up any room in his pocket.

It comes with a built in memory of 32GB but this can be upgraded to 128gb Max with a SD Card, in the box is the charger cable, set of wired headphone which you will need to listen to the radio and a audio cable.

The sound quality and volume are great, more than enough for his ears.

It also has features like steps counter, stop watch, picture viewing, calendar etc, these won’t be used by us only the music and possibly the radio.

Great MP3 player that doesn’t break the bank.

Very small but packs a punch
A very small but powerful MP3 player with a lot of storage capacity. Excellent for use in the gym and easily clipped on at the waist. Sound is very good and I like the FM feature. For me it is great to store some music not available on all the usual music streaming sites, especially blasting them out through a Bluetooth connected speake
