    Excellent cd playe
Got this as a birthday present. Looks great , compact and the size of the unit is about an inch bigger than a cd all round. Speakers are pretty good considering the size of the unit. All in all seems like a great choice !!

This device can connect by Bluetooth or FM which covers any vehicle that I want to hear my music. It keeps the location of playback automatically when powering up and down and has great battery life after USB charge (which also charges fast). Compact and sleek (recessed buttons and easy to find switches) with simple operation makes for a 'happy' purchase!

I’ve been looking for a long playing CD player to use in my golf cart for a long time. This one is the perfect size for my use. In addition, the sound is even greater than I expected. I would highly recommend this particular player!

This is a sweet little compact CD player, just what I needed to slip into my bag or purse when I want to listen to a favorite CD. It plays very well (especially with head-phones, as you don't notice the lack of big booming speakers). It's easy to operate (I familiarized myself with the positions of the buttons so I could operate it in a dark environment). I haven't as yet connected it to my car speakers, but that's next, and with how easy everything else was to operate, I don't anticipate an issue. Highly recommend this player!

    Excellent customer service
Loved the unit, while it worked. No has an TOC error. Will not read any cds. I wanted the unit for in my car, good while it lasted, but one month just isn’t worth the money!

Update: Received a new unit from company. How about that? They stand behind their product. Would buy from them again and highly recommend

Update again: Synced with car radio. Works great. Just as I anticipated.

This is an excellent player…every detail is right on.
MONODEAL: The player and the company do not dissapoint. If there is an issue or a question with the player the company is quick to respond and gets it resolved. I will certainly recommend MONODEAL to others.

Nice cd/mp3 player with built in speakers with two headphone outputs. It's Bluetooth capability makes it a very universal piece of equipment. A big plus is that it's rechargeable. So far it's 5 stars plus.

I'm well satisfied with the product itself except for the earphones. At first I thought it was the player but as I informed customer service, the earphones are holding the product back. I had to use earphones of mine to make the player come alive. What impressed me the most was the immediate reply from customer service. Now that impressed me

I bought this specifically to use in my car, which works great when the cars no longer come with a cd player. But I also use it at my computer and take it along to play cd's on anywhere. I works extremely well, and I am very happy with it.

I just received the MONODEAL Bluetooth CD Player. I've used it a little bit and am impressed with the sound quality of the built in speakers and overall ease of use. I had a little problem getting it to connect via blue tooth with portable blue tooth speakers, but the instructions were pretty good and, after a few tries, was able to get it connected. Have not tried using the FM stereo option with my car yet. But so far I am very pleased.

I wanted this CD player to work with my 2020 Camry. Since it can't connect to vehicle Bluetooth, tried the FM transmitter options, but they all had too much interference from other stations. The 2020 Camry does not have an AUX connection. Have to return and purchase a USB connection CD player instead.

The car I recently purchased does not have a CD player; I can't put in an aftermarket CD player and I enjoy audiobooks I can get for free from the library. Books played on the Monodeal through the car's FM radio have better sound quality, especially when road noise makes it difficult to hear using the Monodeal speakers. It's a good solution, but changing CDs can be tricky while driving. Also, the FM option is limited to stations available in your area. Because it takes a while to change CDs while driving, I have to re-sync the CD player with the FM station which is the 4th offering on the Monodeal--takes a while to get to it using the program button. I haven't used the CD player other than in my car so can't speak to the battery life. It's a surprisingly good little CD player, just could use some improvements to make it easier to operate in a car.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIf you're looking for a Bluetooth CD player for your vehicle, look no further!
Are you one of those people like me that have a TON of CDs and refuse to get rid of them? Not just about the nostalgia but because there are songs you no longer hear on the radio. Or better yet, some of them are not even Shazam-able? This is your solution! I spent hours trying to find the best options, returned items, went to BestBuy, looked through reddit, joined forums, I did my research. This is your ticket! It reads all CDs including burned ones and those that were made into MP3s with almost 60+songs. Can’t wait to use this on my next road trip!

Pros: Easy to Bluetooth to your vehicle. (Mine is a 2023 Kia Sportage). Reads all CDs. You’re able to skip to the next song by using your car dash or steering wheel controls, not necessary to press on the CD player but you can use both. Portable to use at home or the office so you can continue the party, it can Bluetooth to your Air Pods, Beats etc.

Cons: Battery life is not the best so you have to keep it constantly plugged or it will only last for maybe 5-6 hours. Instead of the open flap, it would be nice option to insert the CD so that it can be mounted in the armrest area or driver side.

In all, a great purchase and would buy it again in a heartbeat! Hope this helps you to bring back the best memories and road trips!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersWorks okay, but…
I bought this to play audiobook cd’s in my 2018 Honda Accord. I’m including my car specifically because I had trouble finding much info specific for my car, so I hope this helps others on the same hunt.

    Pros:
    -lightweight
-doesn’t skip while driving if it gets a little bumpy
-easy to plug in and charge in the center console port while playing; it’s just a bit narrower than the interior of the center elbow rest, so it sits in there without jostling much.

    Cons:
    – of the 6 fm signals, only 2 are possible on my radio. Two are below the minimum range (79.?and 88.1) and two end in an even number that Hondas won’t tune. I can hear a scratchy, weaker version on one of the stati9ns by going up one, but the sound quality is too poor for regular listening. That leaves only 2 clear frequencies, and both in my area get varying bleed over from nearby stations;. This might not be an issue in a more remote area.

-Bluetooth is erratic but I can’t tell yet if it’s the player. One chapter played perfectly, the next chapter played in pulses of a second or so on, a second or so off, continuously. I don’t know if that was surrounding interference on the Bluetooth or a flaw on the disc, but the disc played okay on a regular CD player. Again, that might not be an issue in a more remote area.

This player is well designed making it very user friendly. Battery life is excellent and love the USB charging. So much better than having to replace batteries. The bluetooth linked up easily to my speaker! I’ve had such problems with other devices. I’ve not tried the FM transmitting nor the TF card.
I would definitely recommend this unit.

Wished the cd players bluetooth could connect to cars bluetooth audio, but used a seperate bluetooth receiver plugged into cars audio that works fine and allows wireless transmission. Volume using bluetooth that way is lower but adequate. Seems like a quality product. Only thing is how long does it last. Am enjoying this hookup to my car since new cars do not have cd players. It is just the right product for me.

    Updated FM connection.
Was able to connect the CD player to a unused FM station and played the CD via the Bluetooth connection. Sounds good.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersIncredibly Versatile Portable CD Playe
I was shopping for a portable CD player for quite some time, so I could return to playing my physical media, and bought this one. The Monodeal Bluetooth CD Player doesn’t disappoint! Some notes if any potential buyers are on the fence.

+ The player itself is very quiet and very lightweight, but not to the point of sacrificing quality. I won’t be using this as a walkman, but I do occasionally take it from the office to the kitchen while playing. Very impressed with how it’s able to handle everything while making minimal noise (outside of the music).
+ Bluetooth is very easy to setup. This player and my speaker are pretty much a dynamic duo when I feel like playing something.
+ The customer service is pretty outstanding. Not only are they friendly, but they follow up pretty quickly. They’re also willing to accept feedback for future models.
+ Versatility: While I haven’t checked out all of the features, there appears to be just enough options for everyone to use. For example, it has dual headphones. I have no use for it personally, but I might at some point…and that’s good to know going in. Great peace of mind that it has plenty of the bells and whistles for everyday use or that special occasion.
+ The illuminated light is a nice touch. Please note that there is not an on/off button for the light. It activates when you make a choice and stays on for about 8 seconds.

Could probably use better battery life, but it’s good that you can play while charging.

    – Probably the biggest omission (at least when I had portable CD players from back in the day) is that there isn’t a “time remaining” feature. Definitely not a deal breaker, but a “nice to have” for me.
    – It’s a bit of a pain if you have a CD with a high track count. Without a remote control, you have to manually get to say…track 34 of 65. Now compound that with the player’s programming feature (especially if you want it played in a certain order), and you see where I’m getting at.
    – There’s some minor glitches, but it doesn’t hinder the playing experience in most cases. Not sure how to replicate the issue so I can report them to the team, but here’s a couple that I noticed:
    1) Prematurely stopping at the last track before it finishes
    2) If you select the A-B mode, then proceed to go to the prev/next track, the A-B mode light stays on even though it’s technically disabled. Selecting it again re-enables the mode.

All in all, very proud of my purchase. Hoping that Monodeal continues their product line for many years to come. Recommended!

My 2021 Jeep does not have a cd player. I wasn't expecting this and have a large library of cds. I started searching for a portable cd player I could use in my car. I came across the MONODEAL Bluetooth CD Player with Speakers and FM Transmitter. When I first opened the box I was sceptical and was not sure if I made the right choice. After testing it out I have to say this cd player is really nice and well made. The FM transmitter allows me to now play my cds in my car. It does exactly what I was looking for and the price was very reasonable! I highly recommend this product!

This CD player promptly connects to your Bluetooth-enabled headphones and has no problem being quite a distance away from you, e.g., if you are moving from station-to-station around a gym. The sound that emanates from the player itself is marginal but the sound in headphones is quite good and true to the CD. I think the quality of this set-up far exceeds that of, say, playing something from Pandora or YouTube from your phone. Don't throw away all those CDs yet!

    Plenty of sweet features
I purchased another portable cd player but returned it to get this one. I love that this is rechargeable with a usb c cable (included) & has speakers on it so I can play the cd out loud without having to pair it to a Bluetooth speaker if if don’t feel like it and I’m on the go. i also love that I can connect it to a car with the included auxiliary cable. For my car though I need to connect it by using the radio broadcast connection on this player. This is why I returned the other cd player I originally bought because it didn’t have this feature. Although I love the option to connect with fm radio, sometimes I just play my cd from the cd player’speakers and I hear it fine while driving. Ive been using it to listen to language learning cds and the audio is fine. At first I thought the 1800mAh battery would have been a problem for me compared to the 2000mAh battery cd player I returned but the battery life is fine. I just make Sure to remember to switch the player off when I’m done using it so as not to drain the battery. And when I turn it back on it leaves off at where I stopped.
Nice cd player. Love the upgrades from cd players from years ago.

I really like the external speakers on this cd player I have a slight hearing loss and it is loud enough I can hear it. I like to listen in my car driving but I have an older car. I am going to try the FM station connection but I can use my airpods if it won't connect. I use particular cd's with course material on them so I can take it biking or walking. The square shape makes it a bit awkward for a case but it is minor for me. I would recommend this little cd player if you still listen to them. It is a good value for the money.

very convenient; a hard to find item
I had collected hundreds of CDs that survived flooding in the basement but I did not have any devices to play them. I don’t like paying for streaming services or buying digital versions of the pieces I already have on CD.
Then I found this CD player that I can connect to Bluetooth devices or car radios. The last time I had a portable CD player was in the early 90s with SONY. I played it in the car with the cassette tape insert back then but it used to jump because it was too sensitive to the car motions. I found out that you can actually walk around with monodeal CD player without the feeling of carrying a glass piece. I don’t know about jogging but definitely you can move around organizing a desk or a pantry with music you love!

Needed one like this for books on cd, after eye surgery. Had all the features I needed like bluetooth and built in speakers as well as two outputs for headphones or external speakers. It even transmits on fm so you can listen in a car with the radio on. One thing I wished the manual, which is very good by the way, was you need to push the cd down all the way onto the capstan, if that’s what it is called. All the home cd players I have had, you just put it in the slot and shut the door. If you do that, it will read no disk. The manual never points that out. Almost sent it back until I figured that out! And, it really is skip free. I can shake it and it doesn’t lose its place.

The brand name CD player we had broke for the third or fourth time and we decided it wasn't worth the time and expense to have it repaired again. So, I went on to Amazon and found this CD player. One thing I liked right off was when I looked at the reviews, there were no "one star" reviews which I took as a very good sign. The reviews were all five, four or at least three stars. I have to confess to having something of a tin ear when it comes to music but my wife tells me she finds the sound quality of this player to be very good. It is also very easy to operate. The rating system asked us to rate "Battery Life" but since it is still relatively new, we have not used it enough yet to rate that feature properly. In addition, it's shape allows us to place it almost anywhere when using or storing it My wife is very happy to have it and is enjoying it immensely.

Never thought I would need to buy one of these nut now that cars don't have one it's a must have! Initially thought I was going to have to discard all my CD's and start paying for subscriptions to streaming music services. I found this and decided to give it a try. Amazing product! The bluetooth works flawlessly! When at home I sometimes listen to audiobooks I get free from the library and the built in speakers do a fine job. The speakers are small but in a quiet home they are perfect! The only thing I would like to have is a remote control. I highly recommend this unit for it's function and performance. I will follow up with another long term review after 6 or 9 months.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersMonodeal MD602 Bluetooth CD Player - Really Loving It!!
Excellent product (Monodeal MD602 Bluetooth CD Player) for the purposes I purchased it:

    Sound Quality and Volume:
Depends on method you use to listen. EXCEPTIONAL sound quality listening to various classical music via wired connection using my Philips SHP9500s. I mean to say, this particular open air over ears headphones are excellent, and this CD player does nothing to diminish their sound quality (absolutely love this combo). Depending on how you tweak the app settings for the Airpods Pro (gen 2) on your iphone before transferring use of the Airpods to the MD602 CD Player, it can give a very good sound quality to the same classical music (I used the same classical music CDs for my test-music-of-choice comparison). I do not know if this is a common degradation in all situations, whereby wired is always superior to wireless due to the limitations of any bluetooth technology at this time, but that was the case here. In fairness, even when I listen to classical music on my iphone through the Airpods Pro (gen 2), I am never as satisfied with the sound quality nuances of the instrumentation. So, that is what it is, and very likely unrelated to the type of bluetooth technology in this particular CD player. Now, as far as the on-board CD Player speakers; they are as one would expect due to the size limitations of the speakers used in a CD player that is meant to be portable. Is it bad? No. Is it really good? No. Does it serve my needs when I do not want to use any headphones? Yes, with the caveat that peak volume may be lower than desired depending on the recordings you are listening to. What I can say is that there is a huge difference in volume level intensity when listening to the on-board speakers vs either option mentioned above for headphones (meaning, I rarely go above level 2-5 volume with headphones, but find myself pushing the volume level up to max at 20 with listening using the on-board speakers). For my personal uses, this CD Player very easily meets my expectations in the sound department, but I do wish the peak volume level when listening through the on-board speakers went up to 25-30 (although, the distortion level might increase since the size of the speakers affects this issue).

It does have a button (“eq” for equalizer) which allows you to transition mode of sound, but I only found 2 options useful, the remainder seem to muffle the classical music. So, this feature is not all that useful, tbh.

    Wired Headphone Connection:
As per above. What is really fun about this MD602 CD player is that it has 2 ports for 2 wired headphones to be used at the same time with equal sound quality and volume. This was a fun feature, because I have been forever trying to more accurately compare my Philips vs Sennheiser open-air headphones at the same exact time. However, the MOST fun discovery was that you can have 3 people listening at once – 2 people via 2 separate wired headphones and the 3rd person via Bluetooth-connected headphones. The sound quality and volume situation described above when you do this is not altered from my review above for each modality.

Bluetooth Connection to Airpods Pro (gen 2):
Easy. I have had no issues at all. Because the Airpods Pro (gen 2) do NOT have the multi-device connection feature, you may have to occasionally “reboot” connection when going from other devices back to the MD602 CD Player, but nothing major. NOTE: this bluetooth is for connection to wireless bluetooth-capable headphones – from the descriptions, it is not meant to be able to connect to vehicle’s speakers (my car is old and does not have bluetooth speakers, so cannot comment further).

    Options for Vehicle Speaker Connections:
They include a 3.5 mm AUX cable to connect directly to your car’s speakers (my 20+ year old car does not have this feature, so cannot comment). However, the feature I did buy this specifically for is to connect via radio stations to listen to my CD’s whilst driving (specifically because my car’s native CD player often is not able to read half the CDs I want to listen to, which did not get fixed when I had them exchange it under warranty back in the hay-day). Works well enough to satiate my needs, but sound integrity of instrumentation with the same classical music used above will depend on how good that radio station connection in your area might be. My car is super old, so I do not have the problem some newer cars have which limits the driver’s ability to get to the majority of the station options this CD Player radio transmitter uses.

    Reading Various CDs:
No issues so far (unlike my Car’s native CD player). At least to date, I have not encountered a CD, including ones in which music was burned, to play.

    Battery Life:
Meets my needs. I get about 8 hours of continuous use before I have to plug it in for charging. I really, really love that I can continue to listen while it is charging. Excellent feature one would not even think about until your battery needs recharging, lol – it was a pleasant surprise. It comes with a charging wire, uses the C-type (same as my Samsung Note 20), so that’s convenient for me, since I have a charging wire with interchangeable heads for my Apple products and Samsung products.

    Physical Features:
I have owned “sturdier” CD players back 20 years ago, so I would not say this is the sturdiest, but it is quite well made. I do not use it outside the house (eg, jogging/walking/etc), and I do not imagine it could withstand a proper drop to cement sidewalk without damage. However, in my opinion, the base is very well-made with the weakest point if it suffered a fall being the door positioned on the top (which, btw opens upward). Honestly, though, I absolutely love the rounded square design, the very sturdy base and sturdy rubber posts on the bottom (as of 1-2-2023, the amazon picture does not show the rubber pieces in, but it does have them and they do not feel cheap at all). I personally enjoy its minimalistic aesthetic and how much easier it is to hold in one’s hand far more than the round CD players I’ve owned years ago.

    – “Pause” button works very well, keeps you where you left off when you resume.
    – “Hold” button works well, I suppose – I am not really sure what people usually use it for, as I never bothered with it in the past, but upon trying it, it seemed to do what one would expect something called a “hold” button is supposed to do.
    – No skipping at all accidental minor bumps here-and-there, and with my test shake I gave it, but again, I am not taking it out jogging/etc.

    Warranty:
A card is included that tells you to email them to get a Certificate of Lifetime Warranty emailed back to you, which I received immediately after emailing them. Obviously, I have not had a need to use it as of yet, so cannot comment on that level of customer care.

    Final Consensus:
I LOVE this Monodeal MD602 CD Player at the price I purchased it (there was an Amazone $20 coupon on the usual $76 price tag). I am planning to purchase a second as a gift to a friend once I can nab it for a similar price. As much as I love it, I would not purchase it for that full price at this time – not because “there are better options out there”, but rather because I personally would never purchase any CD player for such a price.

FYI, I did receive an email from the company that is offering one of four moderate gift options (eg, Monodeal Carrying Case, $8 Amazon Gift Card, various string lights, electronic item locator) if I leave a review (to be given after they confirm if I actually left a review). However, this review would not have been any different had they not. I have never used any other Monodeal products, but so far, I have not been given a reason to avoid this company to date, which is a huge positive in my book given today’s market of crappy products and crappy companies’ version of “customer service”.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersMD602 CD Playe
Please note that the manufacturer of this device graciously offered to reimburse me when I bought this from Amazon and provided my feedback in this review. There were about 14 other people who were offered the same thing. This didn’t sway my opinions or findings. I consider myself a straight shooter in these kinds of reviews.

I had a decent experience with the Monodeal MD601 that I bought earlier this year. The newer model MD602 adds built-in speakers, the same two headphone jacks, the same TF card support – I didn’t try this with either model – AND the ability to tune into a FM radio frequency if you are in a car or situation where that is the only way to connect it to your car. I did not try this feature myself since my car’s CD player works fine (unless I manage to find one of New Jersey’s lunar crater-sized potholes).

After I initially charged it and played a few CDs (one with the included earbuds and another with the built-in speakers), I didn’t find the earbuds comfortable so I replaced that with Audio Technica M60X headphones that I typically use with my iPod. That worked fine.

The only odd thing I’ve experienced so far was some skipping when I played a new Journey CD that worked fine in my car and on my home Marantz CD player. I think the disc was accidentally left in my car stereo for a few hot days – that’s the best explanation I can come up with so far.

After my first round of testing, I thought the battery life might be less than advertised, but that was due to my error not charging the CD player completely (the red/green charger status light sometimes appeared to not be glowing but the viewing angle is what made me think it was done charging when it actually wasnt) . I did a better followup round today (using my BT 5.0-compatible speaker) and then found I was able to play five hours of CDs with a little under halfway through the charge remaining. So anecdotally speaking, I think 7+ hours should be possible (if you don’t use Bluetooth headphones, I suspect it could be better).

I do not program CD players to sequence songs in particular orders (I can see the value of this for folks who create mix CDs; personally I find that too time-consuming compared to the days I used to create cassette tape mixes).

Based on what I’ve found so far, I can give this a glowing review and recommend it for anyone else who wants a portable player to listen to their CD collection with Bluetooth or with headphones.

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersExcellent Quality Cd Player With Tons of Features
This is a wonderful value for the price on this very high quality CD Player!

This CD player has so many features I will share with you some of my favorites. The CD player has a powerful lithium battery installed so you do not need to replace the batteries every time you want to listen to your CD player. You just plug it in to your wall using the nice quality C type cord to recharge.

This CD player comes with so many listening options too. You can listen through the included external speakers in the unit,
or you can connect to any speaker you have by attaching the included very nice quality auxiliary cord. I have even attached to my car using the auxiliary cord and it works beautifully!
You can also listen by connecting wirelessly to speakers or even earbuds through blue tooth easily. The included manual gives very clear easy to follow instructions.

The player has even another option that I was really surprised by for connecting to your car.
I saw in the instructions that you could even connect by tuning the CD player to an FM station then turn on your car radio and tune to the same FM station and like magic it worked and the car speakers were playing the CD! I thought this was Very clever!
If you prefer using head phones or plug in ear buds You have 2 places to plug them in to so you and a friend can listen together.

The CD player also includes a set of nice quality earphones that fit very similarly to my apple earbuds and were quite comfortable.

You have sound options so you can choose to crank up the bass, or choose classical, or rock or jazz.

There is also a repeat to replay either one or all tracks in a loop.

I enjoy listening to relaxing sounds a bedtime so I find the battery charge lasts the longest when plugged in manually either to my headphones or to a speaker using the auxiliary cord and not quite as long when using Bluetooth.
I enjoy the auxiliary connection also when using the CD player to in my car.

Just a heads up this player will not connect to your car by Bluetooth.
There are loads of more features that I enjoy
like the warranty and locking mechanism so once you have it set the way you like it you don’t have to reset everything if you move the player or put it in your bag to carry.
The buttons are easy and the read and the lighted display screen is very clear.
I listen to relaxation CDs on a daily basis sometimes several times a day.
If you are looking for a CD player that is high
quality with loads of premium features
    No need look any further.
This is the one you are looking for.
I am very pleased with my purchase and if you get one I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.
