I know mouth guards can fit everyone differently. Ive spent 80 on 5 different mouth guards a couple from opro and a couple from venom, they all fell out of my mouth with ease. This one fits so comfortable and easy in my mouth i was so happy. 100% worth a try for first time buyers

Great mouthguard
Great mouthguard even tough I kind of messed it up, it’s quite small so it’s perfect, better than the cheap bulky ones, a lot of people are leaving bad reviews saying it’s hard to mould, it is easy, just watch a video online.
Got this for my 11 year old son to play rugby. Tried a different OPRO first and it was a disaster. Didn’t mould properly and couldn’t press it around the teeth. This is gel filled and yes you have to still put it in hot water for the right amount of time but with this one you get a funky little cage to put it in when moulding it to your bite. Heat it, put it in the cage, get that in the mouth and when you bite, it also squashes it around BOTH sides of your teeth and the gel makes for a perfect fit.

The mouthguard by Opro is designed to give as near to as custom fit guards but at a fraction of the price.
This mouthguard comes in a variety of colours and funky styles which I’m sure make them great fun for both adults and children aged 10+ while giving you dentist level protection in contact sports.
The guard comes with very clear and easy to understand instructions and also has a video available online for anyone who wishes to watch the guide before moulding takes place. Read the instructions twice to make sure you’ve absorbed the information.
I moulded the guard as instructed and the recommended time was to bite down hard for at least 30 seconds but preferable is 60 seconds, I lasted 45 seconds as the guard and compression cage both together were quite bulky and made me gag a little, just a little uncomfortable feeling that’s all. Once the mouthguard has been dipped in cold water and refrigerate for 15 minutes I was left with a perfect fit guard for my teeth. Simple and efficient.
This is the easiest mouthguard moulding I’ve ever done and worked perfectly, no hot silicone and no remoulding, worked first time using a stop lock on my mobile phone for 30 seconds.

As good as old send off versio
I had a much older oPro mouth guard, which you had to create a mould and send off.
This one was much simpler to order, mould and use. People can understand me when shouting (during hockey) and the fit is good. So very impressed and the price was good.
Great level of protection, comfortable to wea
I ordered this OPRO Instant Custom-Fit Mouth Guard for family member for when they are playing rugby and doing boxing. The guard and fitting cage with instructions were all contained within a clear outer package when it arrived. Fitting just required a little care with getting the guard correctly aligned in the fitting device after it had been immersed in hot water and then biting down onto the guard in its cage to shape it. The fitting process worked perfectly and the guard is very comfortable to wear and stays in place well. Worth paying a little more to get this level of protection and shock dissipation. Overall a very effective and good quality mouth guard which does exactly what it is designed to do. Recommended.
Brilliant mouth guard
Very similar to the Platinum mouth guard, this is fantastic. It fits really well, thanks to the moulding cage and it’s super comfortable. It stays firmly in place while being used and looks cool too. Great value for money and great quality!

Works well. Just follow the instructions. Tip- yes the two cages and guard are a lot to put into your mouth. Make sure the top cage is lined up with the bottom and push it in with your hand 1st. Then try both cages in your mouth. Yes it’s uncomfortable on the gums. When you put the mouth guard in the cage line it up to centre & push in. Put cage in mouth and bite and hold. It’s comfortable with guard in.
The mouthguard is a two piece product gold inside patterned piece outside. As in other users pics the two pieces apear to expand and mould a bit independant. You can see a bit of the gold inner expanding beyond the outer at the back teeth.
Bought the one with UK flag pattern colour is not as bold as in product images. Feels very comfortable in mouth.

Brilliant fit and really comfortable to wea
I’ve used several of these home mould mouth guards in the past but this is by far the best one todate. It fits really well and I can talk better than I expected with it in without it dropping down. It’s really comfortable to wear, doesn’t rub my gums like my previous one did.
It’s fairly straightforward to mould as they all are, just follow the instructions and it’s hard to go wrong. My advice would be to give it time to properly moult to your mouth and when you’re happy it’s right make sure to leave it in cold water for a while.
There is a good range of colour and pattern options available which is a nice touch and the carry case makes it that bit more hygienic to carrying your bag.
Mouth guard
I ordered this for my son to use at school during sports. It’s easy to use and mould to your teeth and he says it’s fairly comfy.
This is a really decent brand
We need a new mouthguard at least once every year for my kids for sport lessons.
These are the recommended company that I would always go for. They do a range of mouthguards and I’ve always found to be really easy to fit and the kids always said they comfortable. This was very easy too!
It’s the usual ‘immerse in water and mould to your teeth’ one, but this brand just has a better quality than others I’ve tried.
I really do recommend these!
Adult sizes are roughly for secondary school and youth sizes are for primary school kids.
(I find adult and secondary school kid age mouths are pretty much the same size from age 12/13!)
Good quality and easy fi
I got this for one of my nephews for rugby. The guard came well packaged and looked very smart.
Fitting was easy, and once done it was a comfortable fit. The guard didn’t slip and felt sturdy and looked good enough that it would absorb damage and protect the wearer. The smart look adds to the appeal as the nephew likes to stand out a bit on the pitch.
Overall I would recommend this for rugby usage.
Get ready for rugby seaso
My boy has been using this brand for long. It is very convenient to use. Simply follow the instructions to place it in hot water for a while, tug it onto the upper set of teeth, wait to let it shape, take it down and dump it into cold water to let it set. That’s it. My boy can follow the instructions to prepare his mouth guard by himself. It comes with a transparent box to keep the mouth guard well which is very thoughtful. Besides, there are lots of patterns to choose from and my boy pick the UK flag this time. He is now ready for the rugby season.
The Best home fitting mouth guard we have found.
The Mouth guard is the best fitting home kit that we have ever had . I have added photographs of the moulding around the teeth to show just how snug this fits the mouth. It is extremely comfortable and doesn’t move around in the mouth at all. The new fitting device works extremely well compared to products without it. It has a great design with bold colours and looks great. Very happy , great product. The only reason i haven’t given 5 stars on the Value for money is because the price range is not too far away from a professionally fitted product.

Secure Gum Shield - in British Colours
The opro gumshield was easy to mould – with clear instructions that are simple and easy to follow. This gumshield comes with a cage to help get the mould exact. The product itself feels safe and secure in the mouth and the union flag colour way looks great. Will be great for the rugby season this year.
Excellent mouth guard - so comfortable
I’m really impressed with these mouthguards from OPRO. I’ve tried different ones but they all work well.
I do a lot of karate and need a mouthguard for sparring. But some of the ‘general’ fit ones I’ve tried make me gag due to the size of the guard itself.
This is so much more comfortable. It looks bulky initially (with the fitting ‘applicator’ tool), but once moulded to your teeth, it’s barely even noticeable. Super thin plastic.
The designs/colours are superb (they have various different options).
Fitting is simple, as with similar models – place in boiling water as per instructions, let cool briefly, then place in your mouth and bite hard for 30 seconds to a minute.
I’m really impressed. Happily not had to test these for real (not been punched while wearing it !) but for the comfort alone it’s a 5* review from me.

This mouth guard is so comfortable and easy to fit. The fitting cage works perfectly and it makes the fit so much better than the cheaper options.
We’ve been using Opro mouth guards for ages and we’ve always been happy with them.
100% Better than Past Opro Mouthguards We've Bought!
We’ve been using Opro for years for school. Usually, the school arrange for the Opro representatives to visit the school and custom fit the mputhgaurds for all the children. This has often costed about 60-70 a pop. With more than one child, this quickly added up. The parents often had a grumble about the costs in addition to the mountains of uniform, sports kit and array if footwear we also have to buy.
We are of course glad now that Opro have customised the mouthguards to make retrofitting so much quicker, simpler and adjustable if the fitting isn’t quite right the first time. Amazon often have the Opros at a price cheaper than I can buy from Opro’s own website, and way cheaper than the rep visits!
We’ve just fit all the mouthguards ready for winter sports which start in a week when theure back at school. The same ones are usable for both hockey and rugby.
The fitting at home is much simpler than it used to be 5 years ago.
How To:
Simply dip on hot water for 20 seconds, a quick burst in cold water and immediately pop it into the mouth and manipulate the mouthgaurd around the teeth and gums and envelope your lip over it, ensuring you’re comfortable with the fit.
It must be times according to the well written instructions provided.
Take them out of your mouth and pop them into the fridge for 15 minutes…and hey presto! All done.
And of course the school no longer feel the need to have the Opro representatives visit the school for mass fittings as it’s now available at a click of a button.

Does its job.
Soft and comfortable for me. Protip: if you don’t bite down on it, you won’t be writing an angry review about it. It’s meant to protect you from sudden impact, using it wrong is not a reason to dislike it.
It’s worked well so far and seems to protect my teeth from punches. That said, I tend to wear headgear when I can, but I’ve been happy with it so far.
Good value - easy to fi
These are a good quick way of protecting your teeth. The fitting instructions are easy to follow and will result in a near custom fit. 90% as good as the custom ones at a fraction of the cost and with no wait time.
Pricey but good quality
On the face of it this mouthguard is expensive but it is very good quality. The mouthguard itself is made of strong materials and it also comes with a dual cage to aid with fitting.
The fitting is excellent once you get used to the cage. It creates the pressure you need rather than all the sucking and pressing of other guards.
Once fit it stays in place like glue, I play rugby league and this guard is superb.

Great for rugby AND boxing
Got this for my 15 year old brother to use during school sports.
It’s perfect for rugby, and Opro have always been our go to brand.
This guard is brilliant, it was really easy to fit and shape, and it fits him perfectly.
It’s super durable and has been battered around his sports bag with no damage.
Not only has this been great for school rugby, but it’s also been great for boxing too. The multiple uses makes it great value for money.

Opro is well deservedly the most reliable manufacturer of contact sports mouthguards and for sure this is one if not the most protective and comfortable yet.

Good quality
This is level 6 comfort fit mouthguard. Designated for adults 10+ years old. Comes with 20k dental warranty. Suitable ke for all contact sports, but not for braces.
To mould it place in hot water, wait a bit and squeeze like any other monthguard.

Fits perfectly
I already have an opro gumshield which fits relatively well but this one fits perfectly. During the molding process I was struggling to remove it from my teeth after the 30 seconds which demonstrates how tighly fitting it is. The instructions were easy to follow and unlike other gum shields I have tried I only had to mold it the once and despite having a small mouth I didn’t have to trim it either. Unfortunately for my rugby team mates I can also speak very well in this so they will have to tolerate an even yappier scrum-half.
Great product, clear instructions on how to mould to shape and quick delivery
Am very impressed with the fit of this mouthguard. The fitting trays, while a bit cumbersome to use, really ensure that the guard itself molds to the wearer’s teeth accurately and comfortably. The ultimate fit was so tight that the mouthguard was left behind when removing the trays after the fitting. My son, a rugby scrumhalf, played a full game without communication or breathing issues.
Son says mouthguard “is awesome and it lets him breath easier than his last”.
Would highly recommend this company…the customer service is excellent especially when I needed advice! Will be certainly ordering again from this company.
