Great for the price
Really nice budget rugged bluetooth speaker. It’s sturdy so will easily handle being dropped and thrown around. The IPX6 rating makes it nicely waterproof and can withstand any weather; however, it’s not quite good enough to use in a swimming pool like IPx7 would be.
The sound quality is decent for the price, and the battery life is also surprisingly good! It’s easy to charge, easy to connect to your phone and use, and makes for easy listening.
Overall, I think this is a great budget speaker and would recommend!
Quite good, for the price
For the price, what you get is genuinely quite good (if you get a good one). It isn’t the best Bluetooth speaker I have, but it isn’t a million miles off. Considering the price (25.43, reduced from 29.99 at the time of this review), I don’t think you can reasonably ask for more.
The sound quality is actually really quite good. It loses out a little on the bass, especially at lower volumes, but given the size of it (it’s not huge) it actually does quite well. The sound also stays nice and crisp at full volume without excess distortion.
I’ve personally found the battery life to be really quite good. The Bluetooth connectivity is also great; I’ve had it playing in the opposite corner of the house on a different floor from my phone without issue.
I haven’t tested whether or not it is waterproof, so I can’t comment on that. It is very lightweight though, so it’s easy to take out and about with you.
I’ve noticed that some of the other reviews indicate a very different experience, so it may be that the manufacturer doesn’t have the best consistency/quality control, but the one I got works a treat, and I have to review based on my own experience…
Palifel Wireless Bluetooth Speaker - Budget Priced but Not in Sound Quality
Having spent quite a lot of time in our makeshift home gym I can say it’s been going down well. The sounds of it seem all in order with son regularly using it whilst working out. Easy to use and set up, long battery life it seems. Put it one way not heard anything different about it.
Easy to wipe clean too which is always something to consider and not so worried about it getting rain splashes on it if he’s left it outside whilst working out. So he’s pleased and the sound quality I’m told rather good for such a small unit. Says he can’t complain about anything with it so it’s a five stars all round from us. It’s even been taken to barbies by him to friends as a way of listening to music outside so must look alright too. Budget it might be but doesn’t sound like it think we agree on.

It was easy to connect it with the phone the sound which it provides is pretty loud for the size, the battery life I think is for about 2 hours playing the music continuous I’m using it when I’m doing a BBQ in the garden and it doesn’t take longer than 2 hours and after that I’m always putting it on charging for the next time to be ready because in the UK weather is changing every half of a day and you can’t know in advance how it will be the weather exactly % but anyway if the battery is low than you can use a power bank to charge it while is playing the music what’s about the waterproof im not sure and I don’t want to check it because sometimes even if the product is waterproof, the quality of the sound can be lower than it was before and I’m afraid to check it in the rain I’m happy with this product, so far so good and I hope that it will last longer delivery it was fast and well packed
Good quality and good price
Our other one broke so great to test out this Bluetooth speaker. It came with power so could use it right away. For charging use the cable with USB-C charging point plugging to the speaker with rechargeable battery.
For people who don’t like reading instructions well this one you can set it up easily without having to read the instruction. The bluetooth is easy to connect. The sound quality is good, although when turned to the maximum volume you could hear the slight distortion, but overall it is not bad for this size and price, also we don’t really turn it to maximum volume as it is really too loud.
The speaker seemed to be quite well made, simple in design, small in size. It is great for mobile home, using it on the beach, garden party etc. Great little speaker I am happy to recommend it.
Mono Dedicated BT Speake
Something that should be made clear from the outset is that this Bluetooth speaker is NOT a stereo speaker; it can be paired with another of these speakers in order to create a stereo output, but a single speaker is strictly mono.
Having said that, it is a pretty good speaker all the same, albeit not having the lower end range that it claims.
The BT connection is fast and easy to make, and will answer phones and link to voice assistants, and has a mini-jack auxiliary audio input. It does however lack any ability to play from SD/TF cards or flash drives, it is a dedicated Bluetooth speaker.
It is very robust, and with an IP6 rating you don’t need to worry about getting it wet.
It’s a good, portable, solid and easy to connect/operate BT speaker at a very good price, unless it is important to you that your portable speaker be able to play media from flash drives/TF cards.
Superb speake
Needed a Bluetooth speaker for using whilst at work so took a gamble on this one and I have no regrets….well made … Bluetooth connectivity is fast and painless….sound quality is brilliant for the size of speaker …it has a balanced/ flat eq for sound ….also doesn’t distort when on full volume ….it’s super loud too ….worthwhile purchase and would buy again if needed
Great sound quality for a little speake
This little speaker definitely packs a punch when it comes to sound quality. It is rechargeable, which means you don’t have to rely on batteries. The charge lasts for a while – after 5 hours of playtime, I haven’t charged it, yet.
It connects to devices using Bluetooth. The connectivity is very good, and it doesn’t need to be super close to the device, either, with no loss of connectivity.
Overall, a very nice little speaker. It does what is promised and does it well. Recommended.

I’m always on the hunt for decent portable Bluetooth speakers to use outside when we have family over in the garden for a visit or while we are having a BBQ. This speaker is really good and it does a great job with tunes in the good weather we have been having. The build quality is solid, its feels well made, and is pretty robust. The sound has a good depth to it and it really does sound incredibly good for its size, even when testing max volume it still sound clear. Since receiving it we yet had to charge it which is cool.
I am really happy with this portable speaker, it looks good, its lightweight, easy to use and sounds great and I feel its good value for the price.
Man's best friend - if you are a music love
The most impressive thing about these speakers is the sound quality. The bass and audio output is so rich. You hear little details from the audio output, quite amazing actually. Good volume as well. Can definitely be used indoors for gatherings up to 30. Works well for outdoor activities as well. Easy to charge and connect via bluetooth as well.
High quality, good price
For the price (around 30), this is a high quality speaker. First things first, sound quality is quite incredible for the price, carries well and turns very high! Bluetooth connectivity is super simple and once connected, automatically connects in future. Battery life is good, charging is quick. This is waterproof, well built and compact enough to use for travelling. Definitely recommend.

Haven’t gotten it wet yet.. Sound Quality is Excellent compared to many I’ve tried. After charging- I’ve only used in 3-5 hour time spands without needing to recharge. Like the top it vibrates with the music. Connects to the Bluetooth very easily and isn’t too big so its easy to hold.

Great sound
Good quality speaker with decent base. It’s not too bulky, although it does have a bit of weight to it. I can get many many hours of playtime and only need to recharge at the end of the day, so I’d be good to go the next day.

My 17 year old bought this portable speaker to take on a camping road trip this summer with his friends. Is has stable easy Bluetooth connectivity and vitally important is the sound quality. Firstly it is loud enough and secondly the bass is enough to vibrate through your body. For some reason teenager ears are immune to the the effects of bass. He is happy with this speaker. Very portable and good battery life. It is easily recharged also via a portable battery pack.
Nice speaker, nice sound
This is,a lovey little speaker with a,big sound. Its nice and small so easily fits in my bag but the sound quality is surprising considering its size. It’s nice and loud and crystal clear. It’s very easy to use and I paired it with my phone very easily. I really like how I can use my voice to activate it. Charging take a few hours but it lasts all day which is a bonus. For the price it’s worth every penny.

Amazing little speake
I’m really impressed by this petite looking speaker which does great job without any additional features which drainage the battery, such a RGB lights. If ypu are looking for just speaker which is loud and sound is clear, then this one is for you.
Speaker is neatly designed, it’s waterproof, not heavy, not bulky like some other speakers. It gives up to 20h run time with just 3-4h charging time. It weights just 410g on its own so it won’t add much weight to our backpack.
Speaker was easy to pair, it quickly has been found on my bluetooth device.
Sound is very clear and powerful, at just 20W, it’s pretty impressive. I’m very happy with this speaker, its worth every penny! It comes with aux jack cable and usb type C charging cable. It works via Bluetooth connection wirelessly, there is not TF card slot on the speaker.

Good balance of size, quality and features
I wanted something that sounded good but is small and light enough to fit into carry-on luggage, and this did the job very well. For it’s size – about the same as coke cans end to end – it puts out surprisingly good sound, and I thought it was excellent value for money. It’s robust, water resistant and easy to connect to from a phone or laptop.

Once fully charged, which takes a few hours, you’ll get a good 20+ hours of music time, depending on your usage.

A Really Good Bluetooth Speake
This bluetooth speaker came with a jack plug adapter so you can plug it into the earphones socket of the device of your choice.
It also comes with a USB lead for charging.
Once I had charged it up, it was very easy to connect the bluetooth to my Samsung phone.
My wife also connected it to her iPhone with no problem.
Without any issues it played with a good sound.
It’s not mega strong on the base, but it has a great volume.
Works really well outside sitting in the garden or the park, it’s plenty loud enough to cover any background noise.
Easy to use, a well-made product that delivers great sound. I would recommend.

Good sound and ideal for outdoors
I have a few portable speakers. A Bose is the best for sound quality, but it cost an eye watering amount and I only use it indoors. I’m outside a lot and don’t always want to wear earphones, so small portable speakers provide my music or audio books. This is one of the best. It’s very well made and it looks robust enough to withstand a bit of weather or getting knocked over accidentally.
It’s very easy to pair with the source device, usually iPhone and the range is excellent. I can leave the phone indoors and have the speaker outside some 20 feet away and have a clear connection.
As for sound, I think the quality is good plus. The bass is there, without being overpowering, the treble and mid tones are clear and distinct and it has a rich tone overall. It’s good for audiobooks and there’s plenty of volume. Charges quickly and after using for a couple of hours a day over the last few days, it’s still charged. I’m very pleased with it and happy to recommend.
Compact and not bad sound
This little speaker is pretty good value for the price. The speaker itself isn’t the best quality sound I’ve heard but its perfect for chucking in my pack pack when I’m out and about or in smaller rooms like the lads bedroom when he isn’t allowed to have the tunes blaring for the street to hear. When you turn the volume up full it gets a little distorted and tinny and the Bass isn’t particularly good on some songs when the volume is up but again its not an expensive speaker so I wasn’t expecting that much from it. At normal volumes the sound is clear and the base isn’t too bad. Its ip56 waterproof rated so not a problem if I’m out with this when its raining and the battery seems to have a good long life on it. The functionality of the speaker was great, paired easily with my mobile phone and connects every time I switch it on. I can turn the volume up via my phone or with the buttons on the speaker. Despite the poor sound at full volume I do like this speaker and will use it a lot.

This Bluetooth speaker has quite a lot going for it but has one fundamental flaw which may not bother many people, if you like your bass then you’re going to be somewhat disappointed, I was, couldn’t sleep for a week, only kidding, the bass is lacking even though the product looks very well made and looks like it would shake the house down, as they say, it’s dressed the part but hasn’t got that stuff which all good Bluetooth speakers have……..BASS.
Having said all that, it looks very well made, a quality piece of kit and if one forgets the bass for a second, it will play music at a high volume without any distortion, so we have some good points coming through here which is why I’m happy to recommend this speaker, I haven’t finished yet, there’s more about this speaker that I’m going to waffle on about so carry on reading…….
So lets start with the initial presentation, it looks good, a cellophane sealed package, the box has a sleeve with some cool illustrations, first we have a picture of the speaker, on the back are the key features along with a list of contents, on the side we have the word ‘BASS’ is bright green bold letters, who are they kidding I wonder.

Before you use this I suggest charging the battery up to 100%, it comes supplied 3/4 charged, by doing this you will prolong the life of the rechargeable battery.
The unit looks compact and well made, have said that a few times but it’s true, the plastic mesh on the outside is a hard plastic so won’t move or get ripped. A silicon base supposedly will keep this in one place and stop any surfaces getting scratched, this silicon moves up one side of the speaker which houses the volume, power and skip controls as well as the covered ports for the charging and 3.5mm audio connection, the silicon finishes off on the top.
Connection was very quick, as soon as you switch this on the speaker is looking for a Bluetooth connection, my mobile immediately connected and I loaded up my Amazon Music App, any music App will do or music files on your phone. I played some music but immediately noticed the bass was poor, I adjusted the equaliser settings in the App which didn’t really make much difference. So I realised that bass wasn’t on the menu, such a shame, moving forward I increased the volume to nearly 100%, it was super loud yet the sound wasn’t distorted, not bad.
So I came to the conclusion that whoever was in charge of designing the internal speaker was either asleep on the job or personally didn’t care much for the low frequency, subsequently placing on the ‘BASS’ label so that the product looked good and sold.
Lets take a look at some of the key features:
Has a 3600mAh battery – very nice and will operate for many hours
Utilises the latest Bluetooth 5.3 standard – this is better than 5.2 apparently
True wireless stereo – Using BT 5.3 and if buying another one of these speakers, they can both work together like friends and provide a true stereo output, minus the bass of course!
IP56 Rating – So it’s waterproof to some degree, don’t go placing this underwater or for any prolonged periods in the rain as the water will get in, if you leave the USB-C port cover open in the rain then this won’t last for a long.
Well that’s all I have to say, this speaker will be used as I like to listen to internet radio stations on my phone so this speaker will compliment that favourite pastime of mine, other than that, for music I’m not going to bother because I like really heavy bass and this speaker just doesn’t do it for me.

Oh, I forgot to mention the price, it’s 39.99, no way would I pay that, it comes with a 10 off voucher making it 29.99, now that’s more like it.

Slightly lacking in bass, but otherwise quite good.
This is a rubbery-coated stereo speaker that runs off Bluetooth or a direct 3.5mm analogue lead. It’s not bad, but I’ve seen better.
In the box you get the speaker, a lanyard to hang it from, USB-C recharging lead and 3.5mm audio lead, plus instructions. It’s all well made and the speaker is quite tough, with large waterproof buttons on the front.
Pairing is really simple, and you can change the mode (BT/Analogue) with a quick press of the power button. It has the usual “tap to increase volume, long press for next track” buttons which I invariably end up skipping a track when I just wanted it louder.
Volume is very good, being quite loud. It sounds stereo too from the speaker grills each side, which gives a nice dimension to the music. It’s not got as much bass as some I’ve tried, although it’s not overly shrill.
The “assistant” feature works when paired to a phone/tablet. It calls up the default assistant (Google/Alexa) on your device. It’s like pressing the assistant button, but works through the speaker and not your phone. Good for mimicking an Alexa device to a degree.
It’s fairly weatherproof and although a fingerprint magnet, looks like it can take a few knocks.
I’ve dropped a star for lack of apparent bass plus the fact it won’t play MP3’s like many other speakers can using a micro-SD card slot.

Powerful. Ideal for outdoor use.
I had a few speakers over the last years, but this one is probably the most powerful up to date. It doesn’t give the deepest bass kick, but in terms of loudness it’s ace. Easy initial set up, just pick the ‘Palifel P1’ from the settings-bluetooth list and it’s ready to use. Volume is controllable via mobile phone, of course. It has an auxiliary inputs, however I’m only use BT connection. It also pairs with my laptop, and tablet, which is great.
I’ll share any new discoveries (if any), but so far so good. Exxcellent speaker!
Ok Sound But Nowhere Near Enough Base For My Liking
This is the 3rd bluetooth speaker I have had the opportunity to review recently.
The item arrived in a nice presentation box with charge cable, Aux 3.5 jack and instruction booklet.
First impressions it’s a really nicely engineered device and looks very sleek in all black.
The charging point and 3.5 auxiliary jack is under a waterproof flap which seals really tightly. After a couple of hours of charging the red light went off and I was ready to test it.
On start up It has an electronic tone to confirm connection . There’s a is a very small blue Led light near the on off switch which lets you know its connected.
It connected to my iPhone visa bluetooth without issue showing “Pailful p1′.
Its a slim speaker with some decent weight to it, it scale 426 grams on my digital kitchen scales.
It doesn’t feel or look flimsy at all and the meshed speaker section looks really nice. It fits nicely in the hand although I did attach the provided lanyard to it.
Basically the outer shell looks fairly rugged and is apparently IP56 dust and waterproof It looks like it could take a lot of abuse. But I wouldn’t want to drop it in the water though!
I also like the fact that the speaker mesh is not metal so won’t dent with finger pressure, which is often the case. So thumbs up there.
The operating buttons are big and moulded into a raised rubberised section at the front.
It’s not easy to see ‘what is what’ as being moulded in the colour is uniform across the buttons. To start off with I just needed to turn it slightly to the side so the light catches it and makes the buttons more prominent. No doubt I’ll learn the exact orientation without looking.
It use the multi function button process I.e short press – volume down/ long press previous track and + volume up/long press next track etc . On/Off button press for 4 seconds
It’s possible to hold the Play /Pause button to invoke Siri but I can just speak that into my phone by saying ‘Hey Siri’ anyway, so that has limited appeal for me.
It’s fairly tall (20 cm) so I although I can certainly take it anywhere it’s not going to slip easily into any pockets apart from my coat pocket. It has a fair amount of weight too as mentioned.
The lanyard is handy to hang it on the hook in the garage or motorhome when I’ve been using it , or wherever I need it basically for that matter but I would have preferred a sprung fastener rather than just knotting it.
So far using it over the last couple of days in the garage and pottering around the house I haven’t needed to recharge it again yet, so the battery seems really good albeit I had it on lowish volume.
I guess if it was cranked up loud it would shorten the time between charges quite a bit. Though It boasts a 3600 mAh battery which is pretty big for such a device.
In regards to sound quality it didn’t blow me away to be truthful.
Considering it’s part of its selling point with ‘Bass” emblazoned on the box and “deep Bass’ in the description it’s pretty disappointing to be perfectly honest. I was expecting a lot more.
I personally prefer a lot more bass than what’s on offer , I can’t really call it anywhere near booming , its very subdued but the mid range is clear and fairly punchy.
It’s not terrible and overall the sound is pretty acceptable for a small device.
It can go very loud too with some distortion although the treble does take over but fairly impressive volume for such a smallish speaker.
All in all not a bad little package , I think it pretty rugged take anywhere speaker and will be able to take drops and bangs in use . Sound quality is adequate although nothing exceptional.
For the price , not bad (39.99) but there are better ones about for a similar price in my opinion.
Compact desig
I like the neat compact tall design style. As it does not take up a lot of room, so looks neat sitting on a unit or shelf. Sound wise, it’s good for its size. So you can’t really compare the bass sound to a larger more powerful speaker. It does fine with most pop songs but anything like heavy metal. Then you will be wanting bigger more powerful speakers to whack the volume up on. As turning up the volume on this, although it does not distort and still plays songs nice and clearly, it really starts lacking the true bass and guts to the songs. Volume wise it goes really loud for its size, and for this price mark I think it does a good job. Would be ideal for a teens bedroom or taking out into the garden. I’ve been happy playing it loud enough from my kitchen, and yet still been able to hear it all through my large flat in every room. I did notice it sounded better when put closer to the wall and being under my kitchen cupboards. Which seemed to bring out a better and richer sound, then being right out in the open.
It connected to my old iPhone 6s via Bluetooth immediately. But it also has the cable included to connect devices up to use instead. As well as the usb charging cable.
I tried the double tap on the power button, for the voice activation. The speaker kept bleeping for a while. I didn’t really know what to expect. As the manual did not explain anything other than how to turn the function on and off. Nothing happened until I asked my phones Siri to change the song, which it did and spoke to me through the speaker.
Style wise: As I have already mentioned, I like the neat tall look. I also like the large clear but blended in function buttons. But I’m absolutely hating the strap handle feature. That you can attach if you want to. (I’d rather not). When fixed on it, it makes the speaker look cheap. With the ends having to be tied in a knot. The speaker looks much better without it. But at least you have the option if you need a handle I suppose. Personally I would rather of had the design even slicker, without the ugly little notch hole protruding off the front. Visions of getting my Stanley knife out and slicing it off, keep popping in my head. As I really like the neat design if it is sitting in the corner of my kitchen, ready to switch on as soon as I start my days housework. But I wouldn’t recommend trying to get the handle notch hole off. It’s not a flimsy bit of plastic. It’s actually very strong. Must be metal coated in the same matt black soft touch rubber. I haven’t needed to charge it yet, as the long playability is really good. I expect the loud volume may make a difference to the amount of hours it lasts. But seems to be able to charge and play at the same time. Which is a feature that I really like.
I also noticed reading through the manual. It states not to leave the speaker in humidity. The Amazon advertisement states it’s waterproof! Nothing in the manual states it’s waterproof.
Although I do like the overall look of the speaker. The soft rubber parts (which seem to be on a lot of speakers now), does attract dust more quickly I find. So needs wiping down with a slightly damp cloth, instead of a quick dry duster. Other than that, I’m quite happy to use this speaker most days when I’m not wanting my mega wall shaking loud music on, that will annoy the neighbours. Plus it’s light weight and compact enough to pop in a carrier bag and take out with me. (Because I really won’t use that handle lol).
Overall for this price range and size. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the speaker. The music is clear sounding. Most popular pop songs can be played loudly, without sounding utterly rubbish, and it doesn’t take up much room. Basically the sound is very good for its size.
A great little speaker that carries a punch.
Well made. Looks good. This is small, it is fairly light and it is portable but it does pack a punch and the battery life is good. Ideal for camping or a picnic or anywhere for that matter where you need portability. Very easy to connect. I connected to my device by Bluetooth within seconds and it can also be connected with an aux cable which comes supplied. Not so sure I would say the bass is that strong. It is better than some, not as good as some. For me it is adequate but if you are into heavy bass music, you might be disappointed. I am not into bass heavy music. The sound is detailed. It does have a quality sound to it, not tinny or weak. I tried it with various types of music and I was impressed overall. This will get use especially when out in the garden. I like the crispness and detail of the sound and the punch it carries. Perhaps not the greatest of bass but overall a great sound and a great little speaker which carries a punch. I like it.
