Great little radio for the money , not readily advertised the capabilities possible , not only reprogram them off 446 pmr but put in repeater shifts and choose ctcss frequency and up the output from .5W to its full power of 3W.
If you want a super slim 16 channel shirt pocket no frills handheld then value for money this is it . It even talks to you telling you the channel number . WORD OF WARNING …if you do put it on to your favorite repeater frequency and happen to hit the “man down” button facility it has , you might not be too popular, it not only wails it head off very loudly but it transmits it simultaneously over the repeater until you stop it (tested this with the repeater owner one day) They will not program with CHIRP as this is the 622p the model listed on CHIRP is the 622 there is a difference. That said the free download software for the RT622P from Retevis Web site works very well and is very self intuitive with all the adjustments you need. Given that I only paid about 23 for both radios including charge leads belt clips what can you not like. I have reprogrammed my pair so that channels 1-8 are the first 8 PMR446 with no ctcss and regulation power level and channels 8-16 are the local repeaters i can reach with the 70cms calling and a few simplex channels at the higher power . Audio and signal reports I have received so far have been good. If you want you can use a earphone/mic/ptt this takes a 3.5 4pin jack. Charging is via a C type USB lead (included) and you will need a C type programming cable too, I tried my micro usb programming lead with an adapter to c type and it would not recognise the radio so I had to purchase the Retevis one it was only 10.99 worked a treat with win10.
Bit of fun purchase add to my ever growing collection of handheld I must stop somewhere.
For use on a building site
I work on building sites installing industrial fencing and football pitches. I first bought these a couple of years ago and wouldn’t change. They are small light and compact. They also have a great battery and a decent range. I haven’t had an issue even on the largest of sites. I would highly recommend these for anyone using them for a similar applicatio

s bon prix pour la paire. Trs compact et simple l’usage. La recharge sur USB-C est super pratique. Achetez le cordon USB pour reprogrammer avec le soft destin au RT22p, ce qui vous permettra d’avoir accs la motif de la puissance. Alors que celui du RT622p ne permet que de changer la largeur de bande du canal et les DCS. J’ai bascul les miens en 2w et j’ai plac du canal 11 au 16 les frquences LPD des canaux 1 6. Il suffit d’ouvrir le fichier de programmation et de retrouver l’hexadcimal pour incorporer vos frquences dans une fourchette entre 400 et 470 Mhz. Il n’est pas possible de rajouter plus de 16 canaux ce qui est dommage. Mais on ne peux pas tout avoir pour ce prix.

Los he devuelto porque ped tambin los Rt622 y me gustaron ms por tamao y sobre todo porque se les puede intercambiar batera abriendo la tapa, algo que es til si posees ms de una. Pero no son malos PMR.
A good radio that fits in a pocke
As thin as a mobile phone, and not much bigger, the radio fits good in the hand.
With the correct programming cable (those supplied are ONLY FOR CHARGING!) you can change most settings except for channel frequencies. Turning squelch down to 1 or 2 instead of 5 helps increase the reception range, but at the risk of unwanted “noise” from other users. The power can be turned from Lo (Legal 0.5W) to Hi (illegal 2W) and increases the transmission range. The side button has no software effect and stays as station lock.
The sound is astoundingly loud and good quality.

simple and easy to use but works well
just wanted a couple of back to back radios that needed to be 100% legal and easy to use. these fit the bill perfect. they work well and works as soon as you turn them on, no need to program anything.
if i had to be super critical the only thing i would have liked was a power on indicator, the do have a RX light that comes on when they receive a signal and also a TX light but its easy to forget to turn them off as they make no sound when in standby . still great value and would buy again.
Slim, Powerful, but Needs More Flexible Software - Retevis RT622P Walkie Talkie Review
The Retevis RT622P is an impressive walkie talkie with a lot to offer. While it does come with a significant software limitation, there are many positives to talk about as well.
Pros:

Cons:
Software Limitation: The primary drawback is the restrictive programming software. Currently, the software only allows changes to the CTC/DCS codes but not the frequency. This is quite limiting for users who require more control over their devices.
Verdict:
Overall, the Retevis RT622P is a solid device with a sleek design and powerful performance. It would have been a 5-star product if not for the software issue. I sincerely hope Retevis updates the software to include frequency customization. Until then, it earns a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

La verdad los recomiendo, los compre para dos usos: jugar con mi hija de 5 aos y el uso adulto en viajes y paseos. En ambos casos es excelente, se recarga por USB y la pila le dura bastante, el boton para presionar es bastante suave con lo cual mi hija no tiene problemas para presionarlo. Son ligeros y caben en cualquier lugar, ademas tienen el clip de sujecin. Los recomiendo totalmente.
Estupendo y cómodos de usa
Los compr hace un mes para m restaurante. Es el segundo par de retevis que tengo. Los primeros duraron muy poco, simplemente dejaron de funcionar. Y aunque dud si volver a comprar la misma marca, el modo de resolver el problema Amazon devolvindome el dinero y despus de la propia marca preguntndome por. Correo fue la razn por la que decid repetir con la marca. Esta vez me decid por un modelo ms pequeo y ms cmodo por su tamao y porque se carga con un USB tipo c, pero que cumple con la misma finalidad y funciona estupendo. De momento muy contentos. Se escuchan perfecto de un piso a otro.
Not quite as much range as some of the bigger models
As title these radios are quite good but have slightly less range that the larger ones. Probably due to the smaller antenna. Still would recommended them. We use them on a construction site and the guys prefer them as they are easier to carry than the larger ones.

Ottimi walkie-talkie, buona ricezione, compatti e facili da usare, batteri di lunga durata che carica con type c, solo tre stelle per il fatto che il produttore non vende auricolari compatibili, ma propone un bundle costoso. Edit: alla fine ho dato 5 stelle perch il venditore si prodigato a risolvere il mio problema.
