First Connect DAC to Your TV
To connect to the digital optical port on your smart TV, first connect the digital to analog converter (DAC) to your TV using the optical cable.
Then Connect DAC to Your TV Speaker
Secondly connect the DAC to the “AUDIO IN” headphone jack on the small speaker for TV.
Then Enjoy
Set TV’s optical audio out format to PCM/LPCM. Then you just enjoy TV audio freely.

Super after sales service
Great product. I contacted after sales service regarding a tiny problem with my speaker. They were very helpful by keeping in constant contact & the problem was resolved very quickly. Overall very happy with both the product and customer service. Would highly recommend.
Our Samsung TV isn't new, but not ancient either. The sound is more than adequate on some programs, but then on others we strain to hear, especially dvd's or screen mirroring from laptop. We looked at TV soundbars and speakers at the yellow-sign store where we bought our TV, but they were expensive, and after reading reviews, were iffy, and maybe hard to set up/use, especially for older non-techy people. Then I saw this type of speaker here on Amazon. First the wireless one, which seemed perfect, but then I read about the problem with the batteries, so I decided to go with this "wired" version. Wireless would have the advantage of sitting it near you. Wired is more limiting. Unlike the soundbar-type, this was a piece of cake to hook up. Just plug it in, from speaker to TV, and then from speaker to wall outlet. So easy to use, just turn the knob. That's it. The only problem is the wires limit how far you can move this, so it's currently sitting on the dresser under the TV, which hangs on the wall above. So we do have to actually get up and turn it on/off/up or down, just like in the old days. (Usually just once an evening.) But that's okay. We may try to get some extenders for the wires, so we can move it closer to us, but it really doesn't seem necessary, as it provides the extra boost of sound we needed, even from across the room. The sound is good, at least as good in quality as our TV speaker. We've had it for a week; if we have problems I'll update this. For half the price of the soundbar type (or less), I'm satisfied with this purchase. My one concern is longevity. Time will tell. (If it weren't for the exploding batteries, I'd have peferred the wireless, so I could carry it into another room when needed.)

Works well
The Simolio wired speaker works very well for me I have it on a shelf near me when exercising and as I am a bit deaf allows me to hear the dialogue on my TV

I am older ( over 60) and my hearing is not that good, i have to have the tv set to very loud to hear some of the programs, which drives my wife mad as she can hear very well. with this bit of kit, we have the tv set low so my wife can hear it , 9 or 10 instead of 40… then i have this speaker on the unit at the side of me , so i can hear the sound from the tv.
it cames with cables for ear phone out from the tv, optical lead, convertor cable and box for aux sound, plus it has controls on the back so you can change the trebla / bass mix to suit your hearing.
You can plug a headset into in, so you can watch telly with just you listening to the sound,
usi9ng the audio in you can use an MP3 player or radio etc if it has an external sound output (headphone socket) so this is a very versitile piece of kit.
The sound quality sounds VERY good to my ears. the unit comes with a battery so you can use it plugged in to the mains or if you want to sit outside etc, you can use it on battery power. i have charged the battery and tested it,
It works exactly the same no loss of volume or function, but i have not tested how long it runs for on battery power. it is not something i will be using a lot, i use it plugged in to mains while watching TV.
There is no remote control funtion for the actual speaker…
the dial on the front is the only way to alter the volume. you can use the remote for the TV to trun the TV up and down, but that turns ALL the sounds up and down NOT just the remote speaker. i have the speaker at the4 side of me so it is close enough to reach if i need to change the volume. not a problem.
Better than expected.
Every now and then you come across something that surprises you and this is one of them things. It’s child’s play to set up and the result is amazing, the sound quality is excellent with 3 choices of clarity you can choose from depending on what your watching. I leave mine permanently on Treble 2 ( voice clear plus ) as that is what I struggle most with watching T.V. I am always missing certain words due to my hearing problem and the wife is totally fed up of me asking what was said. This speaker sits close to me and everyone else can still hear clearly, more importantly so can I. A fantastic aid for those of us with hearing loss and if I could I would give it 10 stars. Now I do have 2 things I want to mention that are a little negative but in no way lesson my high opinion of this speaker. First if you plug the speaker into a mains 240 volt socket outlet to run it off the electricity, you need to take the battery out or the speaker is trying to charge it and this gives some feedback noise. Secondly the Red and White RCA adaptor lead should have a female connection on the other end but mine has a male connection. Neither of these are a problem for me, 1 it only takes a couple of seconds to take the battery out and secondly I’m not using the RCA adaptor anyhow but felt it was necessary to mention both. A fantastic item I am delighted to recommend.

This is a great idea for my very hard of hearing father aged 95. It’s easily set up & saves him having the volume so high that’s it’s deafening. Works great & he’s very happy with it.
Wow! My 93-yr old mom with hearing aids sat in a long-term care facility for eight months, blasting the tv volume in her room, to no avail. Bought this speaker which we set up right next to her! Alas, she can hear the programs!!! Easy to operate for someone with arthritis - simply turn the big knob! I plugged the cables into the back of her older, non-blue tooth tv, a few plugs into the wall, and "Voila!" Sound! Wish I had done this way sooner! Thank you for saving the day!!!

I’m not a tech person but I did manage to hook it up myself. I just love it! I can hear the tv now! My tv has horrible sound and this solved my problem!

Muy buen sonido
Para lo que cuesta, dira que es de las mejores barras de sonido de su rango.
Subwoofer integrado, con lo que nos ahorramos otro trasto ms por el saln con sus correspondientes cables.
Su sonido, realmente bueno, se nota desde el primer momento la mejora respecto al sonido de la tele. Es verdad que tiene varios modos y en algunos de ellos no notamos ninguna mejora, pero en los otros como el modo bass o modo juego, el sonido que percibimos es muy bueno, como envolvente y la inmersin cuando vemos pelculas o enchufamos la Play es brutal.

Aprs avoir essay plusieurs autres enceintes (grandes marques en bluetooth), je peux vous dire que, d’aprs mon exprience personnelle, je ne retournerais pas dans ce systme car je suis conquis par cette enceinte filaire unique de clart vocale au top .
Pour ce qui est de l’optimisation des ressources, la valeur est 100 fois suprieure celle des autres modles, ne vous fiez pas au prix, cela ne signifie pas que si c’est plus cher c’est plus performant.
Des basses propres et puissantes, des mdiums et des aigus trs trs bien reproduits que l’ont peu diminu ou augmenter si vous avez un problme d’audition.
Mon cran de tlvision malgr le prix lev le son est mdiocre et les dialogues quelquefois inaudibles; mais au vu que je ne voulais pas mettre un gros budget sur une barre audio, j’ai opt pour cette enceinte quitte la renvoyer si pas concluante. Ce qui m’a impressionn c’est le volume sonore, la maison sans chaos en dessous de la moiti et en jouant avec le volume de la TV c’est plus qu’assez. Mais c’est surtout en mettant l’accent sur la clart des voix qu’elle est performante.
Raccordement instantan et recharge rapide pour une utilisation trs longue.
Je crois que pour la fourchette de prix et la taille / puissance, c’est l’un des meilleurs sur le march.
Toujours d’aprs mon exprience personnelle (mais ce sont mes opinions), il n’est pas utile de dpenser le double, ou encore plus si vous avez besoin d’une mini enceinte puissante et portative.
Si vous voulez faire le saut dans la qualit ne dpensez plus pour des modles plus “clbres”, mais allez directement ce systme.

It works!
I must admit that I had my doubts whether this would work for me. I find that many TV broadcasts distorts speech and especially when people are being interviewed from their own homes where the sound system leaves a lot to be desired, what a difference this gadget makes, the added bonus is the fact that I can do away with my hearing aids. I would highly recommend that anyone with hearing problems or anyone who likes to hear clearly should invest in one. No more straining to hear.
Perfect for hard of hearing grandparents
For those who are hard of hearing this is a must have, it has stopped no end of arguing between my grandparents so far.
My grandfather loves watching the football but noone can hear themselves think when he’s watching as he has to have the sound so high in order to hear the commentary. With this he can either have the sound quieter but right next to him or he can plug in his headset (any wired one will work) and listen without anyone else listening in.
The sound clarity on the speaker is great, i haven’t tried headsets yet but i am told they’re great too. Best bit though is that is looks sleek and modern so doesn’t look out of place in an otherwise immaculate home.
Tone adjustable
Got this for my parents as early present. On this model best part is that tone can be adjusted as they use hearing aid so tone adjustment works well for them.
I have helped them to set up as they usually not quite well with high technology, however showed them how to swap it if they with to use it on upstairs tv as well . Due to its simplicity they can set up it themselves now.
Volume can be adjusted manually and with remote control as well.
So far very happy that sound quality very good and tone possible to adjust.

I bought this for my grandpa who is hard of hearing and who constantly watches tv but he just hates wearing his earring aides so every time we visited we can’t even talk to him the tv his so loud but this solved all the issues! Easy to set up. Works great. Great sound. Highly recommend
