Almost a professional hair trimme
Lightweight and powerful, this is how hubby described it. He does his own hair almost every two weeks and he’s extremely happy with it so far. He mentioned that the battery life was great.

I was tempted to buy rechargeable clippers but I bought my last Wahl clippers in 1996. How many rechargeable items would last 25+ years? True, I probably won’t use all the peripherals, but these clippers are great!

Blades are good, isn’t overly loud, great quality regardless of price so really good value for money. Easy to zero gap if you wish. Good quality clips to ensure longer use.
Since I’d abused my last one of these Pro Clippers by not ouling it regularly, and tossing it about on my travels, I’ve got myself another.
These are so good I cannot be without our it anywhere, whether I’m at home or travelling.
Nobody could be disappointed with a purchase of this kit.
Hair clippers
Very pleased with this brand of clippers. Comes in a neat carrying case with multiple cutting adjusters and a cape. Excellent easy to use item which i can fully recommend.
Professional quality
There is a reason the pros use these clippers. If you want professional level results at home than you can’t do much better than these clippers, and you can do a whole lot worse. They are fast, powerful, and accurate. They are also much, much quieter than any cordless model. Plus, being corded you never need worry about running out of charge halfway through a haircut. Highly recommended.
Good quality and value for money
Have used a cheaper version by the same maker for some years and got good use out of them but there is a noticeable step up in quality and power in this set, which justifies the higher price tag.
Easily the highest quality clipper set i've owned in 10 years
I’ve been cutting my own hair now for close to 10 years and throughout those years I’ve purchased several sets from the likes off Babyliss and Wahl to name a couple. I purchased this one as it was described as a more premium product which is what I needed/wanted.
The clipper comes with guards I’ve never had before, such as half sizes ( number 1 for example) which opens the door for fine tuning appearance greatly. The feel of the clippers in hand is reassuring, it feels sturdy without being heavy and feels well made. The motor is quiet giving off a suble buzz while it’s on, my previous ones where quite loud and defening, especially when cutting hair behind/around the ears.
My only gripe is that I would *personally* say the cord for the plug is a little too short for my liking, but I live with it and get on with it without too much difficulty. If you’re looking for a serious clipper set with some extra bits, I’d look no further.
No more waiting at the abarbers
I can’t think of anything I dislike about this clipper. I buzz my own, so much less hastle. It has a good quality feel about it, it gives a nice No1 guard cut, with a 0.5 guard if you need a shorter blend. You will find lighter weight clippers, this has a man wahl feel about it, about the same as a can of Fosters, if you need to practice the weight in your hand.
Nice and chunky feel, absolutely love this purchase
This is the shaver I always wanted to have. I haven’t been to a barber shop in last 5 years so it was important I invested in a very good shaver as my old one had kind of started getting blunt and sometimes pinches and pulls my hair which is painful. The first time I held it in my hand I was so impressed by just the feel of holding it, It has that beautiful chunky feel which cuts clean and close. Can’t fault it at all! Highly recommended.
Good quality and robus
Robust and powerful clippers. I love the combs, they are much more robust than my previous clippers. They also have half grades which gives me much more flexibility when using them. Happy with them
2 years on and these are still going strong, used every 2 weeks
So I have hair that is thick and grows quickly. So decided to try these as they are normally a quality brand. These haven’t disappointed. 2 years on they are still sharp, nothing worn out and have delivered in the region of 50+ cuts since I purchased them. I always oil the blades after cleaning and before use and haven’t seen any signs of corrosion that some users reported.
These are without doubt the best clippers I have had in the last 20 years.
Good quality feel and working well.
Having used battery clippers for years I realised that there just isn’t sufficient sustained power to run them properly long term. Wahl are a well known brand so opted for these mains powered ones and they are in a different league to what I had before. Just like they use at my local barbers. Already paid for themselves.
you get what you pay for, a professional set of clippers
hese are a replacement set of 30 year old wall clippers which gave up the ghost after years f use, this replacement is brilliant (comes with loads of combs/styling accessories) feels great in the hand and really does power through my thigh hair and styling. cannot fault its really ergonomic and comfortable to hold work with. Would not hesitate to recommend.as said you get what you pay for.. get the best WAHL
Good feel and excellent in use
Wahl Elite Pro Clippers had these a while now and they simply power through the hair and work really well hopefully the self sharpening will be true to the advert as if so they will work out fine providing you oil before every use
Feel very positive and not too heavy and also like the attachment fittings being metal connected to the clippers as all the ordinary plastic ones seem to wear out in no time when taking off or putting on and aren’t cheap to replace when you only want one size for example
Excellent clippers
Appear to be robust without being too heavy. Feel good in the hand, leaving a nice close cut and are easy to use.
There are loads of videos on YouTube on how to use and clean etc.
There’s a multitude of combs ranging from number 1/2 (1.5mm) to number 8 (25mm) All combs are clearly marked on the front and are made from a hard plastic which doesn’t give the impression of snapping if dropped or trod upon.
I have used these clippers, once a week for a month without any issues and I’m sure they will serve me well for years with regular oiling and cleaning.

Good if you don’t mind hea
I believe this product to be pretty great. I have seen other reviews mentioning it pulls your hair but I have had no such issues during a trim and my hair is 4C afro ( extremely thick). As long as you add the clipper oil then it’s quite a smooth trim.
I believe it to be good value for money because after using this product 3 times I’ve already made a profit compared to if I went to the barbers.
I cannot mention too much on the longevity of the product because I’ve not had it that long however they don’t seem like a product that would last very long. I’ve had no issues but one thing I do notice is that the clippers get very hot during use which makes me believe they won’t last long, (though I have had no signs that they will break on me).
If you have no problem with the clippers getting a bit hot then I would highly recommend this product.
Excellent clippers. I have shaved my head since my teenage years and now 34. I do it “gaurdless” to keep nice and short. I had previously been using some old Wahl Envoy cordless clippers which are professional ones (which I got at low price from Sally’s as my wife is a beauty therapist). The Envoy started to make an awful noise after nearly 10 years of use (and i could not use them without the cord as the battery was poor and the power was only satisfactory with the cord plugged in). The Envoy one is more comfortable and lighter to use, but not as good as the new Elite Pro set…
Pros-
Very clean cut due to the excellent blades and seriously powerful motor.
Loads of attachments which are very well made with harder plastic than usual so they don’t bend when in use (the metal clip also means they sit perfectly straight).
The adjustable blades (when not using a guard) allows for close cuts in sensitive areas without catching the skin, but if you prefer the No. 1/2 guard is very close (e.g. for those that like to keep their privates trimmed).
Very good hard case comes with it keeps everything neatly protected and looks nice on your shelves.
Good length to the power cord making it easy to use in different rooms without the need for an extension (I use my kitchen as the floors are tiled).
Great price for clippers of this quality and the amazing selection of high quality accessories.
Cons- (hardly any in my opinion).
Some people may find it too heavy. I enjoy weight lifting and I’m well built but my muscles were a little sore after use but this is not an issue to me as the Pros above out weight this. For me the weight gives confidence in the quality and power of the motor.
It comes with the standard tiny oil bottle, however I already have a larger bottle which you can get on Amazon for a small amount of money which lasts years.
In summary this is the best set of clippers I have owned and expect them to last at least 10 years with use every 2-3 weeks as my previous Wahl clippers have done, maybe longer. So I would recommend these to anyone, unless you feel weight is an issue (e.g. someone with shoulder pain in your dominant arm).
I used a barber for my haircuts forever… well, 45 years which feels like forever anyway!
My wife has said on several occasions that she could do my hair, and I was kind of “No chance, I’ll stick to the barber!” Fearing the worst, obviously.:-)
A week ago, I went to get my hair cut, a month after I really needed a trim, and found the barber was closed. Upon my return home I started to think “I ‘m struggling to find time to get my hair cut these days, busy life and all that. And I don’t just want anyone to cut my hair as it’s a personal thing.
So I mentioned to my wife that she could do it, if she still wanted to.
My wife then jumped at the opportunity and said “We need a quality set of clippers, Wahl is the best brand”.
So she chose this Elite Pro Hair Clipper Kit… duly purchased from Amazon.
I was surprised at how weighty the clipper actually is, expecting it to feel light and plasticky. Instead it has a real quality feel to it that gives the impression it will last for years. The accessories impressed me also, a full range of combs for the various lengths of hair as well as scissors, a normal comb and a gown. All for 45!
Bargain!
Anyway, I’m waffling now. Suffice to say that I have had my first haircut with this kit tonight, and I’m really chuffed with the results.
I told work colleagues that my better half was going to cut my hair for me, and joked that I hoped I didn’t get the full “Walter White” And that if I came in to work on Monday wearing a Heisenberg hat, they’d know it didn’t go so well! 😀
As it happens, I look pretty much the same as when I’ve paid a tenner for my haircut, so it isn’t going to take very long before the Wahl Elite Pro kit has paid for itself.
