This little analogue radio is terrific value.

It can be charged by the sun, manually cranking the dynamo handle or by plugging in a USB cable to your electricity supply. Once fully charged it can also help run a mobile phone for a while.

It has a built-in useful powerful torch too.

A gorgeous colour, sleek and compact design with a carrying handle.

Sturdy flat base to avoid it falling over.

    Amazing value.

Would make perfect gifts to ensure folks have help during grid down situations.

This is smaller than I thought, but has all the functions. Radio sounds good once it’s tuned in. Don’t know about battery life. Would have given 5 if there was more information on battery, plus it’s a shame batteries one could put in aren’t used too. But on the hole a good little product to take camping or use in shed

Bought this after being totally cut off after a storm last year. We had no electric Internet phone or anything. This radio seems to be fine for an emergency. Hope we don’t need to test it for real.

The item when delivered didn’t work, but I contacted the company and within a few days replaced the item with one that did work. Very prompt and courteous service was excellent.

Now I have one that works. It is excellent charges easily, the light is good, and the battery lasts and the radio works well to

The charging via solar or winding handle works well with an LED that lights up when the battery is being charged. The AM/FM radio works but is difficult to tune manually and the sound lacks bass, it is a tiny speaker after all. This radio would be suitable for emergency use but I couldnt imagine using it for long periods of time to listen to music. The main torch light is bright and has a wide beam that can illuminate a room or the path ahead, if outdoors. I can see this being useful in a survival/emergency kit or when travelling off the beaten path where there is no access to mains electricity or for use during a power outage.

It is great, radio and flashlight that can be powered with either the crank or the solar panel but after only a couple hours it wouldn’t charge my phone even if everything else worked fine

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersSo, I bought this as I am a bit of a survivalist and I was missing a hand-crank radio for when civilisation goes boom. I’ve got to say though, the torch is damn handy too. I can’t wait to use it when I find a cave to live in after the great collapse!

I have just inherited two little kitties and one likes to hide in dark places, so the torch has seen quite a bit of use looking for the little furbaby! I aim to train them in foraging for me, birds and mice etc. to provide protein.

The unit has a nice feel to it, quite solid but not heavy. The adapters that come with it are for iPhones and USB-C, which is awesome. The solar keeps it charged to an extent, though I crank the unit too just to test the output as solar power may not be a reliable source of energy if I am in a cave, or if the nuclear fallout, and subsequent nuclear winter block the Sun.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI bought one for if we lose power in the winter months. I bought a second one because my grandson thought it would be really useful, it’s normally more difficult to impress a 20 year old with a low tech solution.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersNot bad for the price. I had a similar product for many years which broke recently, this is much better. Sound quality and reception was good for talk radio although I do not listen to music programs . Battery seems to last forever if leave it in the conservatory .

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersEasy to charge using solar. Haven’t had to charge using any other method. Battery lasts ages. Torch very good. Didn’t really use the radio but I don’t have a lot of patience trying to tune it in!

Looks good, reasonably well made. It’s for my ‘go-bag’ so not used it yet, so can’t vouch for how good it is in use!

Perfect wee radio which we can wind up or charge in the car if travelling/camping. Sound is fine for our needs + tunes in to channels we listen to fine. Very portable so all in all very happy with this wee radio.

Despite the radio developing a fault after several weeks, I have to give a 5 star review because Runningsnail was brilliant to deal with. Fast, clear and friendly responses and a no quibble refund.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe first radio arrived not keeping charge. The seller was amazing and sorted a replacement quickly and it does exactly what it says. Radio is louder than I expected which is great, light is bright. Have bought for my father to use on his allotment.
Came with usb cable to mains charge and 2 usb adapters to change usb ends to suit different phones.

This is a great little gadget, radio and torch combined. You can wind it up or plug it in. Pretty much does exactly what it says it will. It is quite compact, doesn’t take up much space but does what you need it to do. Recommended.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersBought two for just under 20 each, and I love these little things! I’ve been camping twice with them and they’re lovely little radios, the torches work great also! I recommend charging them fully through the USB before actually taking them anywhere though. And the phone charging aspect works for short periods of time, as the instructions say “this is not a portable charger so should be used only in emergencies”

Actual product is fab, my fianc was happy with his gift, gr8 camping etc as torch and radio in one! Can wind up the torch manually as well and charge devices off it too ! Good product overall and nice colour red !

Compact radio. Don’t expect a hi-fi system but you do get a fitfor purpose bit of kit. It would have been nice to have a jack plug for ear phones though

After 2 years the torch started flashing more like a strobe light, contacted them asking if can get replacement bulb & fit it myself. Customer service agent managed to get me a new one sent out. Never expected to get another one, great customer service, great little radio, great idea for a product.

Golden Review Award: 33 From Our UsersEasily gets the stations even where I am in Jamaica and it gets around ten minutes of sound from a few minutes of winding the crank.
That said, battery does not stay charged long and it cannot get enough charge from the solar panel to stay on.
Thus, I have to down rate it. Because you will still need a battery bank of some sort to get through a day of no power.
Manufacturers should find a way to make the product last at least twelve hours on a full charge and make the products last as long as sun is up if solar operated.

Ordered Sunday night arrived Monday. Easy to use, not tried the phone charger, but comes with cable and different phone ends.
Torch is good radio easy to use and works well.
My OH is very impressed with it, the dogs not so much with the siren/help feature 🙂
Will be handy when we go camping/power outages, end of the world scenario

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThis little radio is amazing for all the things it does, especially at the price!
Seeing as it acts as a power bank, and can be charged either by its solar panel or handcrank (if outdoors) or USB input, this essentially makes this a solar-powered or hand-wound power bank!
The radio works really well even without the antenna extended, and the torch is really bright.
This is the perfect outdoor-survival/camping/power-outage device and I’m really happy I bought one

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersBought this for my grab bag, so was really pleased it is so compact &comes in a bubble wrap protection bag. Listened to a Brahms piano rhapsody on it and for its size the sound is great. Haven’t scored the battery life as I have just charged it from the mains & put in my bag. It will charge my mobile, and be charged by mains, solar or crank, & has a decent flash light, so just what I need in the event of having to leave home in an emergency. And I think the price is great value as well.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersWow, it actually works!! In the age of high tech you don’t realise the simplest forms of media can be just as adequate. The sound quality was ok but not always easy to have a clear radio station . Volume was good. Haven’t tested out battery life as it is for camping trips only.
