Was concerned about buying this as there are so few reviews, but I’m preased to say you get exactly what you pay for.

The first thing I did was test to make sure it’s a genuine ultrasonic cleaner. There are some that vibrate and look the part, but aren’t truly ultrasonic.
To test your cleaner, fill it up, turn it on and dip a piece of tin foil into the liquid for 5 seconds. When you take it out there should be a few tiny holes in the foil. It’s caused by miniscule air bubbles exploding in the water and popping through the foil. If you have the holes, it’s doinf exactly what it’s supposed to.

After the test, I refilled with heated tap water at 70c (thakfully I have a kettle with temp readout so I don’t need to wait for this machine to heat the water up. I put a few drops of washing up liquid in and turned it on.

First I popped by specs in, they were a bit greasy and had green inside the silicone bits that keep them on your nose.
After 2 minutes I pulled them out. Amazingly the lenses were sparkling, and the green stuff inside the silcone had gone!

Next were a few items of jewellery. Be cautious with what you put in, some stones should NOT be put in an ultrasonic cleaner (like Opals).
Everything came out gleaming after a 3 minute bath. I could probably have taken them out sooner to be honest.

I now find myself looking around to see what else I can dip in this thing!
Metal watch straps will be next, I can’t wait!

If you want to get an even better clean, order some deionised water (which enables the cleaner to work even better) and, if you can put up with the smell, ammonia (you only need to add a little to the water).
Be careful what you clean when using ammonia, go a quick google to make sure it will not cause any damage. It’s fine with gold and silver, but not sure about gemstones.

I’ve ordered my deionised water and ammonia, looking forward to see how much improvement it wil make in speed and cleaning ability.
