These water chlorine and ph test strips arrived in a plastic resealable bag with instructions on the back. You get 50 in a pack. I ordered these to test our small swimming pool chlorine levels when we get it out in the summer. I haven’t used them yet but will update this review when i do.

I really like these test strips as they come in a handy little pack and are very simple to use. I finally got round to using these as I am now sorting out my swimming pool really for the summer season. I needed to up my chlorine levels to shock the pool and use these to measure before, I between and after so I can get the levels right. They come with a colour chart on the back of the packet, which gives you the levels of PH and chlorine. I have compared these with another make of test strip that I use and they are pretty accurate in giving the same readings. As I have had cheap test strips in the past that have not worked as they should. Overall there really good value for money and I reccomend them to anyone needing to use these.

    Easy to use

As good as you need for the home spa or kids pool as a quick check to see if the water is safe

These appear to work well, really easy to read and cheaper than other alternatives, would be helpful if they came In a more sturdy container but for the price you can’t complai

For a 2 party test, these test strips are super cheap. Only does chlorine/bromine and pH but at up to 4p a strip for 200, that’s cheap! Tested against my normal strips and have same reading. Make sure you carefully open the pack not like me rushing in the video and chopping off some of the key. Recommended for intermittent testing between weekly testing where you would want more levels.

    Great value

These are very simple to use strips, comparing colours to that on the back of the resealable pouch.

Measures both chlorine and pH, these seem to be as accurate as my previous set – I can’t attest to how accurate that is, but they are consistent, which is almost as important.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for hot tubs.

With PH and Chlorine reading, these strips are uncomplicated unlike some others you can get. We have a hot tub and these strips are great for daily hot tub checks that are needed to keep the water in tip top condition.
I usually use a couple of strips every day, one to check if any chemicals are needed and if they are another to check I have put in the right amount in. Good price at 3.99 (at time of review) for 50 strips, there are also options to buy more strips (20, 100, 200) the bigger the pack the more cost effective, the 50 pack works out at 8p a strip where as the 200 pack is 4p per strip.

    Good price, work well.

Good little pack of spa and pool test trips. I use for my small hot tub which I only ever check the chlorine alkalinity / pH so these are good for the basic checks on a daily basis to check the water is clean and safe to use. They are fairly inexpensive and do the job as they should.

Don’t have a pool and the hot tub is under wraps at the moment so did a quick check on Severn Trent water just to see where it sat. Not surprisingly it is PH neutral as expected and the chlorine level is negligible. That said on occasions the water can have a distinct chlorine odour, I think when they work on the system they sometimes dose it up. Next time I will be checking to see how it reads using one of these. You have to read the strips quickly as they continue to change colour once dipped (the strip pictured had already darkened on the pH test in the time it took to get the picture). The accuracy does depend on judging the colours against the supplied table but I found it pretty easy. For the tub I will probably end up using a couple or three per test as you have the first test and then I would check on how any adjustment went which will need more strips.

Easy and quick to use to check water conditions

Nothing much to complain about here. They do exactly as described and represent excellent value for money. Perfect for our hot tub and ensuring the correct pH of the water. Highly recommended.

These work they’re not expensive and they’re essential to keep your water quality at safe levels. I’ve started cold water therapy so I’m using these in my cold tub. It means I can save money as I don’t have to refill as often using tabs to keep the water levels safe. Recommend

You need an almost endless supply of these if you own a hot tub or pool, after each use or at regular intervals you need to add chemicals and check the water to ensure its clean, safe and keep it algae free.

A quick dip in the water with these and a short wait allows you to compare the colours – this does of course rely on a little judgement and being able to distinguish the colours correctly. There are 50 in this pack, I often find myself using at least 2 or 3 per use, one to establish current levels, then one or two more to check the chemicals I’ve added are sufficient. The bigger the pack you buy the less pence per strip these become.

Cheap as chips and easy to read results. Defiantly use all the time for my hot tub.

Needed some strips for the hot tub and these are perfect, they give you the Chloring in ppm and pH from 6.2 – 9.0 which is perfect for hot tub maintenance.

Price seems fair and reasonable and they are simple and easy to read with no conflicting colours.

When using these to test the water condition I was pleased to say that the results obtained agreed with the brand I had previously used. The result showed up very quickly and was easy to read. I take the strips out one at a time in a dry atmosphere so they do not get contaminated. Good value but the instructions could be slightly clearer.

    These are a great idea.
We have a small pool, and so I’m used to testing for chlorine and alkalinity levels, and adjusting with chemicals.
I have never previously seen the two tests combined into a single simple strip (many of the other test strips I’ve used have 6-8 different measurements, but only two of these are anything I can change – chlorine and alkalinity).

So these are perfect & a fraction of the price of other more expensive test strips.

I’ve tested a couple so far & they seem to match the ones I was using before. So no concerns from that small sample size, in relation to quality/accuracy.

Great value for how many strips you get. Does as advertised, used on a lazy spa pool.

It is so easy to work. The quality is nice. After the strip with the water, only a few second, then you could know the result. The tester strips quality is nice, it is not easy to worn out. Good for test the PH of the water. Nice!! I will come back and buy it later on. Thanks

This is a good pack of test strips, which is re-sealable to prevent getting moisture inside. The strips work very quickly, and produce a colour output which is easy to read (as the photos show, the side of the pack has a chart showing how to interpret the readings). The pack of 50 which I received for review was good value; the larger packs are cheaper pro rata, but all the pack sizes compare well for price with packs available in the shops.

These 2 in1 pool and spa water tester strips arrived in the plastic resealable bag with user guide.
    There was 50 strips.
They are very easy to use and the results are very fast almost immediate.
I would need them during summer time when we refill our big garden swimming pool with fresh water to monitor its quality.
These strips work out cheaper if bought in the pack of 100, but 50 is enough for me for the whole year.

Easy to use, resonably priced, good to have to monitor quality of water in the swimming pool.
    Work as they should.

The directions are simple to follow and comprehend, and I am looking forward to using them this summer to test the children’s pool to ensure that it is safe for kids to play in. Simply dip the stick into the water to produce a colour, which you can then compare to the chart provided. Each test strip must be discarded after being used and can only be used once. They are inexpensive enough to ensure the safety of the water.

I know I won’t have any trouble using it and receiving results because I’ve heard how fantastic they are from others, but when I use it, If I need too I’ll update my review and let you know.

simple to follow instructions and looking forward to using them this summer to test the kids pool

I just love a bit of chemistry and these pool test strips were duly put through their paces. Results were super quick and seemingly accurate.

However, my largest concern is with regard to the resealable pack in which these arrived, complete with desiccant silica gel. Expose the pack to the humidity of poolside and these are ruined. For this reason, I reseal the pack immediately after use and transport the pack daily to wherever I am working, in order to test the waters.

So as well as private swimming pools in which I teach, I also tested our residential drinking water. Here, thankfully, both ph and chlorine were ‘ok’ according to the instructions and colour chart to the rear of the of the pack of strips. I also got some of the children I teach interested in testing for ph and cl – so this bit of kit is a great educational and fun tool. It is a shame that the instructions to the rear of the pack were a little obscured by a poorly printed label. But for the price (3.99/50), these strips are cheap, reliable, quick to use and ever so handy to have!

    Great for testing the waters

Used these many times before. Dip the stick in, and read the colour. Great for checking chlorine levels in hot tubs. SIngle use then throw stick away. Simple to use and good value.
