The instructions are more or less useless
I have only tried it on both mains and 12 volt, it cools down very rapidly bear in mind that after its switched on it will run for 3 minutes before the compressor starts it’s part of the actual process and it’s meant to do so, once it reaches the desired temperature it switches off the compressor and seems to hold the preset temperature for a long time if you don’t open the lid so it’s very well insulated. It’s not a lightweight item it’s big and bulky but it holds a lot of stuff. It can only be used as either a freezer or a fridge depending on what temperature you set it to, the instructions are written in pigeon English translated from Chinese, hard to follow and don’t tell you enough about how to set the temperature control up only how to get it to read in degrees Fahrenheit or Celcius, nothing about how to set up your required range etc. The bluetooth connection works well once you have found it on google play as there is no mention of where or what to look for in the instructions, I found that if I get it to the E1 setting on the control panel then I can successfully adjust the preset temperature range, once you start playing with it that bit becomes self explanatory, but believe me it’s a good job I’m a compulsive button pusher or it would never work from following the instructions
Aside from that it works it’s cheap and should keep food frozen or refrigerated well
I would recommend it on price alone
I do reiterate it is heavy and cumbersome to carry the big chunky wheels and handle make manoeuvring on flat surfaces a doddle but carrying it isnt easy

I absolutely love this cooler/freezer. its big. it hold cold whole day in scorching heat. the wheels are high quality. its easy to carry. Love it. just love it. Wanted to buy something cheaper, but I don’t regret any penny. this product serve me soo well all the time, not just on travels (great for shopping frozen stuff too)
Great fridge freeze
A great fridge/ freezer. Please be aware this can only be used as a fridge or freezer not dual. She’s big with no internal tray so at times you have to dig deep to find what you are looking for so perhaps a little difficult to keep organised. At first the motor seemed noisy but has now settled down to a whisper. She does draw power so would recommend only using with 240v hookup. Worked well in recent heatwave, got truly tested.
Took this camping and ran off Jackery power unit, uses hardly any energy, great results, lovely cold beers. Build quality is good, app works great – hope it all lasts.

Power draw is very low
Very quiet, we have it in the van and while it makes a bit of noise during the day trying to battle the heat it’s very quiet at night presumably because it hardly ever has to kick in to maintain the temperature, it’s never woken any of the 4 of us up.
All one compartment – less flexible but more space
Oddly the bluetooth connectivity which I thought would be a waste of time can be quite handy

If you want to remove the wheels you need a different product this one won’t let you. If i’d realised that before I’d bought it I’d have bought a different model but there are so many models of Alpicool fridges it’s hard to tell which ones do what.
Bottle opener – is only on one side and because of how we’ve had to put it in the van it’s blocked, why not put it on the front which is very unlikely to be blocked by positioning or put one on both side.

This fridge/freezer is fantastic, gets down to temp quickly within 10 mins usually, very quite in operation & is monitored via Bluetooth on your phone excellent value great product definitely recommend
Used this to transport our dogs frozen food from UK to Spain for holiday. Worked a treat. Kept frozen in the car for 8 hrs/day and moved it to the hotel for the overnight stop.
While on holiday we used it to keep the beers cold. Works really well. Would definitely buy agai
The unit cools down very quickly – compressor is very quiet – phone app is very good – would recommend – mine runs off 2x 120w solar panel setup at 24v and 120amp battery which easily runs the unit for weeks think it pulls about 60w/h

This is a great cool box. easy to use and really keeps your food and drink chilled

Does just what Iit says on the tin! Held temp at-17 to -20 for fifteen days solid while we were away both in the car and at our holiday cottage.
Be aware though. The 52l version is a neat off a thing. But perfect for what we needed!
My Campervan fridge
Wonderful fridge that has the easiest of settings, keeps food at desired temperature and doesn’t ruin my Campervan battery. A definite buy!!!

Was a bit sceptic about buying this cool box I’ve had it running for for 1-day on two 30 amp batteries, I charge them fully and I’ve left the battery on on and it is amazing still have after battery left and still not charged it best fridge eve
I use this while fishing as I got for mostly 3 days at a time and being able to bring fresh food (including chicken) has been great.
I would say that if using a battery bank, it has been using about 15,000mAh of power per day. I normally keep it at 4c. ( I use it on a 48,000mAh battery bank)
I recently went on a trip and put a couple of those ice packs in there with my food….just to help the power usage and it probably only used about 15,000mAh over the 3 days in total, so really does show it’s excellent insulation and worth putting a ice pack or 2 in there if going on a long trip to keep the initial power usage down to last longer.
I had wanted to buy the 62 l model for some time. I ordered it on Friday without expedited delivery, and it was delivered the following afternoon, which was great. It was easy to program and certainy has spacious capacity. I am currently running it in my kitchen, and it is doing it’s job, so I am very pleased. I know it it early days and don’t anticipate any problems. So far, so good. MRR
This review is for the NX62 unit. Its the biggest that Alpicool do, as far as i know. The controls are very easy to use, even though the english translations are somewhat farsical. This unit has only been run up as a test since we won’t be using it quite yet, but it impresses me as it is as quiet as the two cool-boxes we have been using beforehand. It does cool the inside box temperature down quickly so bodes well for the future. I will never use the APP facility as i don’t have the requisite items. The capacity is one large area which looks capable of storing a lot of food and drink. I’ve only given 4 stars because of the way it was delivered(whilst i was out), upside down. Thank goodness it was well packed!!! Update on the measurements which are not entirely accurate. The width of the NX62 is 695mm(27 3/8″) including the wheels. The height is 610mm(24″) and the depth is 430mm(17″). These vary from the official ones only in their definition of sides. The handles at each end are very useful for two people to lift this unit.

I had a cool box several years ago and was very disappointed with it. Very rarely used it and eventually got rid of it. Move on several years and I thought about getting another, better one. This is miles better than the previous. It is not a cooler but a small fridge/freezer. Looks good, very mobile and easy to use. Tried it out by filling a glass with tap water and setting to -10. In the morning there was a solid glass of ice. Very, very impressed. Well worth the cost and a handy thing to have over Christmas and on car journeys. Five stars.

I am very impressed with this cool box, it looks well made and does exactly what it states it is expensive but I suppose you get what you pay for.
Needed this to keep beer cool for a festival. Having no power I run it off a spare car battery, in eco mode lasts around 4 days constantly on the go. Freezing cold beer….
Unlike some models you need to have this set as a freezer or a fridge, there is a separate compartment at the back of the box over the compressor which we have been using for delicate items and those we do not want to get too cold. The unit is a little noisy at first, but you can get used to it and it did not interfere with sleeping. The 240v / 12v leads supplied are very useful.
The construction of the unit is good and the inclusion of an LG branded compressor is a big plus. We have only used the fridge for a few short trips, if it proves to be reliable and durable I would move to 5 stars, but will have to wait and see.
NOT SO GOOD !
Only had this for 3 months, First time of using it was amazing. Went to use it again and it keeps blowing fuses and not working at all. Not happy
Fitted into my campervan, instantly very pleased, works very well, very quickly cools to fridge mode. Not tried freezer, the app is great for controlling, very low power usage
I was dubious on getting this fridge.. however after some research and biting the bullet we took the plunge and got it!
Jesus I’m surprised at how good it is! Also has a funky Bluetooth app!
Rapidly gets down to -18 (20mins) from +10degrees.
Used in the van for 2 days, didn’t even have any issues with leisure battery. (95ah)
Kept my food frozen, tiny tiny hum from it at night but nothing to stop you sleeping!
Over all, get it bought now! Such a cool amazing cheap bit of kit for that camping adventure!
