Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe are loving this induction hob. It took a minute for us to figure out how to use it as we were using a pot which was not compatible, but after checking instructions we realised we needed to use an induction pot, which we did and it works great!
We were already impressed with the right hand hob and how fast it heats up but after trying out the left hand hob we couldn’t believe how fast it boiled the water in the pot!
It comes with child locks which is very handy for wee kids who want to touch everything and also I like the way it cools down very quickly too making it much safer. The slim line design is perfect for storing away and we think it would be good to use in a small apartment or caravan where there is very limited space. This hob is also great to use when you have a big crowd round and need extra cooking hobs. Can’t fault it, would recommend.

Just bought this induction cooker to substitute the old gas cooker I had. Much easier to clean without all those gas buttons gaps. Initially I thought it would be slower than gas. But I was wrong! It’s much faster than gas and much better looking than the older gas cooker.

Got rid of my cooker as it was expensive to run and as I was fed up with bending down to open oven so replaced it with this hob and a large air fryer oven and never looked back.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI can’t find anything negative to say about this unit, even though I’ve only had it for a few weeks. Our cooktop is quite unique, with two gas burners and two electric ones, and both types work exceptionally well. The gas burners respond instantly, while the electric ones are reliable and unaffected by air currents. They simmer food much better too. Usually, I start cooking rice on the gas burner and then let it simmer on the electric one.

However, this induction cooktop surpasses both types in terms of performance. Not only does it heat up and adjust as quickly as gas, but it’s even faster and more precise to control than electric. Similar to modern electric glass tops, there’s no flame, making it incredibly easy to clean. Plus, it cools down faster than both gas and electric cooktops when you turn it off.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Userspurchased due to my old cooker finally packing up working. I find the twin hops is all i need today with my microwave and hot-air fryer.
The twin hobs heat literally instantly with easy touch controls, and very easy to clean.
It wasn’t the cheapest but pleased with the quality and power usage rated as “B” for consumption.

I bought this because my induction hob stopped and I needed an easy replacement while waiting for a repair.
I was very impressed with this hob when it arrived. It works really well and it is easy to use and clean. The heat comes on fast too. The only small drawback is that it is a smidge noisy. But frankly, it has been an absolute godsend.

Just what i needed after electric cooker broke. Didn’t want to buy a new cooker yet, until I’ve finally moved. Since i wont know what type of cooker ill need until i know if my new house has gas or just an all electric home, like the maisonette, I’m currently living at, for the time being.

Lovely the design, my first time using a induction hob.

My first induction hob, our cooker hob/oven is gas. Heats water freakishly fast, very impressive. If all you do is boil water to boil or steam eggs/potatoes/pasta/rice/vegetables then as far as I can tell you set the temperature to 100C and it does it! It boils the water. Set it to 80C and it stops boiling the water, back up to 100C and it boils again; it’s the fastest response I’ve ever known. Haven’t tried frying yet. This hob has more power settings than some of the competition , some of which only go down to 500 Watts, I purchased this one because it goes down to 200 Watts giving one better low power control if that proves required, then up in 200 Watt increments, peaking at 1800 on the left and 1000 on the right. I suspect we’ll use the temperature setting mainly and park it at 100C. When turned on it seems to default to the maximum temperature which I feel is silly, it should default to the lowest setting or the last setting used. You can’t set the power or temperature unless a pan is sitting on the hob which is annoying because there is no power delivered until an induction suitable pan is put on it so what is the harm? Take the pan off and the heating stops instantly but the hob will be hot because a hot pan was there. The cooling fans are reasonably loud but I would not describe the noise as intrusive. Two year warranty. Pleased with it so far, I think I chose the right model. I chose an induction hob because I felt it the safest way to cook as it only heats when the pan is present and then rapidly cools, good for those who might accidentally leave the hob on.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersWe’re currently in the 4th week (ugh) of putting in a new kitchen, but have still been able to cook – especially outside – during the renovations. I already had an electric grill and an air fryer, so this hob completed our outdoor/temporary kitchen. We have solar, so powering everything isn’t an issue when the sun is out or using stored energy in our battery. I wanted two hobs, to give us options, as we will also be using this in our caravan whenever we go down as it is much better than our gas hob – as it uses LPG so the pressure is low and everything takes an age to cook. This looks GREAT, first and foremost, and is also easy to clean. You have a 1800w hob on the left and a 1000w hob on the right. Each can be turned up/down by 200w (or 20 degrees), and the controls are responsive and simple to understand. The hobs heat up really quickly, but will not work (and will turn off) if there’s not an induction pot or pan on the hob. It also warns you, when you remove a pan, to remind you to turn it down or off. The hobs cool down really quickly too, while the pans are still red hot, so they conduct really well. An excellent unit, that will be getting more use over the summer!

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersAs a portable hob, i thought i would go all out and use this while camping to make my life that little bit easier, but also because fire around tents is really not the best solution to use where it can be avoided, so an induction hob is ideal.

It’s reasonably lightweight for what it is (i wouldn’t recommend it for wild camping as there would be no way of powering it anyway) We had to power this off the mains supply included in our spot on the campsite and it runs great, we have induction pans from home which we bought with us so there was no need to buy special pans and it heats up just as easily as the rangemaster one does at home.

So quick heat, safety features galore and an easy surface to wipe off after every use makes this ideal for us whenever we need it.

Golden Review Award: 23 From Our UsersLove everything about this product, nothing negative to say, we are getting rid of our cooker, using this product in combination with a Ninga air fryer we bought at the same time, the hob heats and cooks very effectively, very easy to clean.
Just make sure before you purchase this product pans etc are compatible for this hob it heats via convention, also make sure existing pans etc are pristine if they are not it will leave a footprint on the hob surface it mentions these in the instructions the hob will be permanently marked. In our case all our cookware for the hob are like new.
Don’t let this put you buying this hob because it’s a space saver, energy efficient, excellent features and so much more.

We have moved and have no cooker at the moment. This grill takes 10 slices of short-back bacon in one go. It also comes with two metal rings to do Wimpy-style friend eggs. 😀 Well worth thirty quid.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersLadies and gentlemen, I present to you the most revolutionary piece of kitchen equipment: the double induction hob! And let me tell you, this little guy is not your average Joe. It’s like having a personal chef in your kitchen, except it doesn’t argue with you about the ingredients you’re using.

First off, let’s talk about the sleek and sexy design. This hob is ultra-thin and portable, which is perfect for those who are short on counter space (or for those who are always on the go, like myself). It’s also super easy to clean, which is a must for someone who is as clumsy as I am. I mean, let’s be real, nobody wants to spend hours scrubbing burnt-on food off their hob.

Now, let’s move onto its performance.
It has a 3-hour timer, which is great for those who are always on the go (like myself, again). Just set the timer and forget about it, until the delicious aroma of your meal wafts through the air, of course.
This hob has 10 temperature settings and multiple power levels, which is perfect for cooking anything from a simple omelette to a fancy lobster tail. Finally I get the eggs cooked to perfection every time! And with 2800W of power, you’ll have your meal cooked in no time!

But, the best feature of all, in my opinion, is the independent control. That’s right, folks! You can cook two different dishes at two different temperatures at the same time! It’s like having two personal chefs in your kitchen! I can finally say goodbye to the days of having to choose between cooking my steak and my vegetables at the same time.

And let’s not forget about safety. This hob has a safety lock, which is great for those who have little ones running around the house (or for those who are just forgetful, like myself). No more worrying about accidental burns.

I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed with this hob. I’ve never been much of a cook, but with this hob, I feel like I could conquer the culinary world! I’ve cooked some amazing meals with it, and I’ve received nothing but compliments from my family and friends.

In conclusion, this is a must-have for anyone who is short on space in the kitchen.
This would also be ideal for travellers and campers!

We did a bit of research and worked out that running this hob is cheaper than cooking using our gas cooker. Time will tell but insofar as the hob is concerned, we think it’s very good. It seems to cook faster than our cooker. It looks attractive on our kitchen counter. Very easy to use in our opinion and good value for money.

Really good hobs, one side goes up to a high wattage which is very good for boiling things, and it responds quickly to touch inputs. There was a small defect with my initial one and the seller reached out to me to resolve the issue by sending me a new one which works perfectly.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersI was looking for a small, portable, induction hob that would be sufficient for creating meals for two people. There really aren’t many occasions that my wife and I actually use more than two rings on a hob these days, and this seemed the perfect solution.

It is lightweight, simple to use and simple to keep clean. We use a couple of silicone mats, one on each ring, to prevent pans from scratching the surface and this also aids cleaning. If you want to do the same, I recommend that you search Amazon for ‘induction hob protectors’, there are many options available, any from 24-28cm will fit nicely.

Controls are clearly visible and simple to understand/use, and there are enough ‘touch control’ settings to select.

    Perfect for a couple

Have been running this for a few months now and it’s great. Worked for me with most pots and pans I already had. I’ve got it plugged into a normal wall socket and it’s totally replaced my Gas hob.

It’s fast to heat, can get a pan of water up to a boil within a minute or two.

Lower temps for simmering is achieved by pulsing the heat off and on which takes some getting used to. It’s not brilliant at simmering. Better results when the pan is thick and heavy which seems to smooth out the pulsing.

It does make a buzzing noise when operating. It’s not offensive, just worth knowing.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersTwo issues:
    (a) you can forget about a constant simmer, it will not do this! The heating regime seems to changes when the setting is reduced from the maximum, which results in a cycle where the plates are heated, then turned off, the off time getting significantly larger for lower temperatures, so you may only have a few seconds of simmer time per minute.
    (b) when the plates are initially turned on, despite setting the temperature/power setting to minimum, the output is maximum for about 2 minutes, so one can get burnt onions or fat/oil being at too ahigh a temperature. Not good!

Aside from these 2 issues, it works fine.
It is very easy to use the digital controls.

Wife and I bought a really old house that had a really old unsafe gas stove, which we promptly had removed. We ended up getting an anova precision cooker and we needed something so we could use until we finally redo the whole kitchen. This has been perfect and it’s totally sold us on induction hobs. It works really good, heats things up, the temp controls would be a little more variable but it gets the job done. Don’t try and use induction with cheap pans though, we had one really cheap pan we got from asda before we had fully moved in and even the pan was labeled as safe for induction it totally scorched the inside bottom of the pan. So use your good pans. We have some nice circulon and carbon and cast iron pans and it’s awesome with those. Those complaining about it being loud are crazy, it has fans but they aren’t that loud. Really happy with this purchase and really happy we didn’t need an electrician to install it.

We bought this as a temporary hob while rennovating our kitchen. Overall, it’s a decent induction hob, easy to use and clean. Main issue is the low temperature increments are just too far apart. Boiling water is either barely simmering or a raging torrent. Frying onions is either softening slowly or crisping quickly. And I don’t think we’ve used it above the 160 degC setting because it just gets the pans so hot there’s no need. I know other reviews talked about the lower temp settings using an on off cycle to maintain the set temp, but this is less concerning to us than the difficulty in setting the correct temp in the first place. So it needs to be carefully watched and adjusted to get the best results. So fine for what we need for a few months, but would probably get annoying over the longer term.

Golden Review Award: 27 From Our UsersThis is a really nice looking two ring hob if you don’t want a full 4 to 5 burners. It fits in to the space I had for slot in 560mm gas cooker very nicely sitting on a granite top butchers bloc/ kitchen work station. Enough space to leave a small pot or kettle behind it on the worktop when not in use, or to keep a few utensils. Completely smooth top for cleaning so very easy.

The controls are easy to see once the hob is plugged in and turned on though if you rely on touch it would be difficult as all lit under the hob surface. Simple up and down arrows for temperature and for time control.

I use a small to medium kettle on the hob and it will boil enough water for 2 regular size mugs in 1 minute which is much better than my previous gas burners.

With reference to other reviewers’ comments about noise level: it sounds about the same as an oven fan so not completely silent but not loud either. The fan doesn’t run for long once the ring turns off.

Love that I can heat pans on a timer and not worry quite so much about forgetting how long I have had something cooking for. Easy to see how hot or cool a ring is set and residual cooking time left.

Cooking with pans flat on cooker for things like omelettes will take me a bit of time but feel much happier about energy consumption and reduced risk of burns with an induction hob. I have cats that will occasionally jump up and I’ve always worried they could step on a hot hob and not realise.

Most of existing my pans and kettle were steel but I was worried that they might not work after being used on a gas hob. Lots of people told me I’d have to get all new pans. Not at all. Everything is fine and they all work (all within sizes recommended though). Using a two pan hob it feels stable and the surface large enough not to feel like larger pans might fall off when cooking.

Over all very happy with purchase and think it is great value. Bought along with a combination oven microwave grill instead of a traditional slot in cooker. It was so much cheeper than even basic slot in cookers so I could opt for more a higher specification hob and microwave than I would have been able to otherwise. It’s working really well for me.
