Very good kit. Easy to install. Easy to configure.
The lenses arent so good for outdoor, but for small indoor areas, perfect.
Very good quality as well on cables, dvr and cameras.
    Packing very well too.

All working fine with no set-up problems. I have used direct wired connections as I’m a bit old fashioned. I don’t like using an app that requires me to give over personal details to a Chinese company. Looking out for a stand-alone app before trying to view on my iPhone.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWe’ve had a system previous by this company and it was great but this system seems to be cheaper quality and the cameras aren’t the best for wide angle viewing very narrow field of view . Also the playback facility is sketchy at best , keeps displaying faults when trying to stream via mobile on live view or recordings. Disappointing purchase

A great system for the money. Very easy to install – routing the wires to the hard drive box can be tricky depending on where the box and cameras are located I live in a bungalow so not too bad the large cable length provided was way more than I needed. Once the cables are sorted the hard drive installation I also found to be very simple although the instructions arent amazing. Picture quality is really good during the day or in brighter light but the Infra Red vision is a smaller section in the centre of the camera during the night so the useful field of view is smaller but still good quality. Overall I’ve been really pleased with this ssystem and would recommend them.
NOTE: A few reviews have mentioned you can only use I.E this is because it uses Activex but micosoft edge will allow you to open it in I.E just goto the more tools tab and it will load.

Here’s me thinking system only gave me 6 days before it stopped working. I must learn to push the camera wires/cables in properly when I endeavour to move the recording unit to another place. Yes I was to blame for the sudden camera fail.
Yes it cost me 20 to get it corrected, but it was down to me.Cars and front door are now covered again, so I am semi Happy, but annoyed at myself as well. for a basic system its good value (well something is better than nowt). With the professional install, and the 20 for fixing what I broke, it stands me in 200, that I will say is reasonable value for this system.

Upgraded my cctv dvr. This one takes 2 extra cams via up cams giving 10 in total. Still finding stuff out and getting the settings just right. Easy set up for external viewing. 1 annoying thing is that you can only check view 1 day behind when doing it remotely. Very strange.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI have had the Annke DT8 1Gb system working for a month now. Installation was relatively simple (obviously the wiring in of the camera’s is as hard as you choose it to be) and I used the provided mouse and a spare monitor plugged directly into the back of the unit. There is a mobile app that allows you to see the cams from out and about and whilst it doesn’t have the full admin functionality of the unit, it’s a great peace of mind.

The unit comes with a lot of additional features that are not mentioned in the blurb. Some will take some time to tune; e.g. motion recording is great but think about where you put the camera, one of ours has a vent in-view and so it is triggered whenever steam comes out of the vent. There are bunch of creepy features such as face recognition and people-counting, but I’ve not got them working. The interface that comes with the device (if you plug in a monitor) is fast and easy to use. You can scroll back days and immediately review recordings – there is no delay.

However, if you are buying this device for remote operation then that’s where I have rated only 4 stars and not 5. If you type the IP address of the unit then it brings up web page interface in your browser – but this is where things go wrong. It only works with really old versions of Internet Explorer, i.e. 2015 era. The plugin to watch video does not work with firefox, Chrome or on a Mac, Linux etc. No one has vintage IE anymore (been automatically upgraded long ago) and so you can only use the Mobile App or be there in-person at the device.

My husband bought the Sannce DVR camera kit with one TB hard drive and 4 dome cameras after reading many favourable reviews. I would recommend this unit as good value for money. I did find the setup a little challenging but tried it out on the kitchen table first to get familiar with its operation. One problem I had was that I missed the information that this unit would not work for remote viewing on a MacBook Pro but worked effortlessly on a Windows PC. Then I before trying to connect to my iPhone 6 I read all the negative reports regarding XMEye and expected major problems but followed the instructions and got connected ok, I have been able to view the cameras remotely on wifi and 3G without problem so far, do logout from XMEye after you have viewed otherwise your phone battery will run down very quickly. The dome cameras look professional and are quite unobtrusive and the clarity is very good, facial recognition is ok if the distance from the camera is up to about 3M, mine look out onto the drive and cover the front and rear garden and have been setup to record when somebody walks up the paths, I originally thought I would need a 2/3 TB hard drive but recon I will get 2 to 3 months the way mine is setup before the drive starts to overwrite. All in all I am very pleased with my purchase I only have one regret and that is that I didn’t buy the 8 channel unit as I would like to have fitted a couple of extra cameras to try and see how the Heron keeps pinching my fish!

Bought this to catch shoplifters in my store as there has been an increase of late. Setting up the system is quite straight forward as most items are labeled, i connected the 4 cameras and had each one working without any problems. However getting it to work on my PC and Ipad though was not so easy. The Technical Support is good and they sent links with step by step instructions which seem to be different from the instructions you receive with the item. On the PC it seems a little hit and miss, i got it working then next time it wasn’t. On the Ipad it works much better. I can view live cameras even when i am not at the shop. I can view playback of issues and take screenshots. On the system itself i can do playback and backup to a USB and then view on a PC. Despite the CCTV signs all over the shop, thieves came in but were well viewed on each camera.
They were identified by people and the Police. CCTV used to be enough to stop them but not anymore, but a good system can catch them. This system got the job done. For the price this system is very good.
