Great just velcros o
Great spare battery no messing around just velcro on and plug it in it’s great last about the same time as the oculus it’s self so you get double the game time
Don’t take long to charge either great little investment to go with your oculus
For gamers
If you are a heavy gamer who can’t take a battery charging break then you will be forced to look out for some sort of solution. The battery pack is one of them and fairly good in my opinion. You still keep your movement freedom while playing but the full charge will provide just around 3h of extra playtime and you will have to attach the battery pack directly to our Oculus VR so expect it to get more heavy. Also, if you are playing an active game where you need to jump or move rapidly – the battery pack might disconnect.
Sturdy, strong build
My husband has an Oculus Quest 2 but is always complaining of less battery time. He was very excited to receive extra batteries. Extra batteries mean extra playtime.
The batteries came packed in their nice, branded box. An instruction manual plus a USB cable were also included.
Upon first look, the batteries are well-made plus have a sturdy/ strong build. They come with a Velcro strap, hence they should be easy to install. But, my husband did have some difficulty with the fitting.
The battery was fitted with some difficulty but doesn’t feel heavy. With this battery, you get extra playtime for around 3 hours, or 6 hours if both are used.
On the whole, the batteries do work well.
Good quest additio
So, let’s not mess about – if you have a question then one of the biggest downsides is the supplied battery – which cuts down on play/watch time. This pack solves that issue by offering an additional battery that just clips on to your headset.
It takes seconds to set up and you charge it as normal via usb-c. There’s nothing overly fancy about this – it just does what it says it’ll do – and because of it’s simplicity I’ll give it 5 stars. I like things that just work without any faff – this does just that.
Cost effective and convenient!
Great battery pack. Didn’t need it with the strap as I feel comfortable using the strap it comes with. Way better to go with this than the elite strap with battery which costs wayy over 100 which I cannot waste and I’ve already spent enough on my Oculus.
This is a way better alternative for extra gaming or use. I managed to get an additional 1.5/2hrs of gameplay time. Didn’t have to charge it to play it again and again. Very useful battery. Would recommend!
Comfortable for prolonged use
This battery pack is excellent for prolonged use! It’s not as bulky as you may think for such an item, but this is just fine. Comfortable to actually wear too. I rate this headset pack, and would recommend it too.
Very good and usefull
This product was extremely good! I expected it to come without a cable but it came with a short cable, just the right size for my current oculus strap. My kids find it very easy and useful to use and with some time of continued use, it will feel like it isn’t even there!
Battery pack for Oculus Quest 2
So the description states this is a:-
Battery pack for Oculus Quest 2. GEEKERA 6700mAh rechargeable VR battery pack for Oculus/ Meta Quest 2/ Pro/ Elite strap. Extra 3.5h 0.32lb lightweight, no taco-neck quick install Quest 2 accessories.
It will charge automatically, no switch required.
What I also like is that it has 4 indicator lights,
To let you know how much battery is left while in use.
(( With this we not got anyone screaming because their game was cut short because there headset had died lol ))
The price at the time of this review is 36.99, which can seem a little high but it means its got a longer play time.
So far so good
But I will update this review if needed.

perfect for the extra battery life, very comfortable too.
I have the original Oculus Quest and this battery pack fits very easily to the lower strap around the back of the neck via 2 small velcros straps.
When its on i didnt notice the additional weight and it felt very comfortable.
The whole thing still fitted in the quests original case without removing the battery pack.
I am very happy with this unit and would recommend it.
+++AAA
Perfec
Great useful battery for my Oculus. It’s high capacity and high quality and would definitely recommend. It’s not too heavy, despite its large capacity and is a perfect accessory for Oculus.
Difficult to fit on 3rd party head strap, works well and gives around 3 hours extra playtime
One of the biggest shortfalls of the Quest 2 is the meagre 2-2 1/2 hours playtime, so that limits what you can do. You could use a link cable/charger to keep it going a little longer however that then limits your movement. What you need is a battery pack, and this 6700mAh battery pack from Geekera could be what you are looking for.
Inside the pack you get the battery pack (with little charge in it so will need charging), a USB C cable to plug into the headset and the battery pack, and a small instruction sheet.
Fitting is a little more difficult depending on the head strap that you use. I am currently using a battery head strap from GeekVR so the back of that strap has a hard outer shell, however after some fiddling I managed to find a place to mount the battery and I have to say it worked well. If you have the standard Quest 2 head strap, this will fit that perfectly. I think the seller could provide longer velcro fastening straps which would make this easier to fit other head straps.
As with all battery packs, they will provide power to charge when the Quest 2 is off. When the Quest 2 is on, the Q2 battery will still lose charge, however the battery pack will act as a trickle charge, adding extra time onto your game time. For example, I just had 30 minutes playing and when I started I was on 98% battery, and after 30 minutes I had dropped to 94%, whereas without the battery that would have been down to the mid 80% range.
Overall though this is a great battery pack for an extra bit of play time
Okay battery pack
This battery pack for Oculus Quest 2 is comfortable to wear and extends VR playtime with its amazing power capacity but plugging and unplugging from the pack is a struggle.
The GEEKERA battery pack for Oculus Quest 2 is created with Velcro that has been tested over 10,000 times for tension, ensuring a stable installation through simple operation, and features a distinctive L-shaped USB C connector that makes it more lovely to wear. This model has an updated ultra-large 6700mAh capacity that provides an additional 3.5 hours of VR playing and a total of 6-6.5 hours of use.
The installation is simple and compatible with all Oculus / Meta Quest series products. Its accessories are also ideal for use as a 6700mAh power bank to charge devices with a Type-C connection. Even if you need to wear it for an extended amount of time, it has a curved design to fit different skull shapes for substantial comfort. Furthermore, the counter-balance design lifts your Oculus Quest 2 using the weight of the battery, relieving pressure on your face and nose.
The build quality is excellent, and the colour and even the texture complement my son’s Quest 2. There is a cable included that is a good length, but it does not come with anything to attach the cord to the strap, but there is a small elastic band supplied. Charging becomes more difficult because you must unplug the pack to charge it rather than simply plugging in the headset.
Overall, another port would be ideal so that the pack could be left plugged into the headset. As a result, I would not recommend this one.
Oculus Quest battery
Battery pack for the Oculus Quest 2 headset. This device is nice and compact and simply sits in the slot where you would usually add the power cable. It allows for a nice steady flow of power which will keep you going for a good while and then can be just re-charged up when needed. It’s not too bulky and seems to re-charge quickly enough and work! Arrived well packaged and set at a great price. I would buy this again, much better than tracing cables.
Good one
Very satisfied with this rechargeable battery pack.
Works perfect, works for quite long time.
Easy to use it and they are super lightweight.
Playtime is about 3 hours.
For that price definitely worth to buy it.
Recommending to all.
Good!
Well made, good price, light enough that it doesn’t weigh you down during extended use. I think it could easily be improved with longer velcro straps, as it would fit with some aftermarket head straps better. Overall, decent, and on offer right now at 29.99 I see. Nice!
Great quality
This is a really great product. The quality is solid, instructions about assembly are clear, and it came with more than I was expecting to get!
Want more time alone?
In need of a bit of extra playtime on your Quest 2? Geekera might have you covered with this battery pack that fits to the headset.
The battery comes packaged in a card box with cardboard packing to hold the battery in place. Inside you have the battery pack and a USB C to C cable with an angled connector. The battery is contoured to fit on the band of the headset and is secured in place by some Velcro straps. On the top there is a set of battery indicator lights and on the front a USB C port and power button. The capacity is 6700mAh but the usable is 3800mAh. This is actually marked on the packaging and the battery unit itself. This is a pleasant change as often this information is omitted for marketing purposes. Testing the battery on a 2amp load I registered some drop in voltage. It wasn’t significant and this shouldn’t be an issue when used with the quest.
I’ll confess I don’t currently own a Quest 2, though I am planning to buy one this holiday season. So I took it to a friend who does own one to try it out. It’s easy enough to fit to the headset and the cable is the perfect length. You do need to make sure you do the straps up tight as you can feel it move if they are slack. A thin foam pad on the inside surface would help.
It feels solid enough and it works well to extend your playtime. I have some minor gripes, like the voltage drop and the straps, but it’s the price that’s the main sticking point. At 29.99(at the time of writing) it’s at the higher end of the scale for the capacity. Its purpose built design is far more practical than a power bank and the added convenience might be worth the premium.
designed best for soft strap
his is a battery pack for oculus quest 2, it got 6700mah capacity, give a max of 3.5 hours extra play time to the built in battery, it’s designed to mount at the back, so it will also balance the weight of the headset
however, it’s only good for mounting to soft strap, my oculus headset changed to use elite strap, this battery pack couldn’t fit well because of the velcro straps
tried to use it with the original soft strap, well it’s still a bit strange for the extra weight at the back, also velcro is not hair friendly, so it’s a bit distracting until i get used to the extra thing at my back while playing
anyway, this product does the job and extended the play time, satisfied with i
Very happy with this produc
5 It fits nicely on the back of your head and even acts as a counterweight for the headset. Would recommend to anyone with the quest 2. Also cable including is very convenient.
Only guaranteed to work with original strap
So I’ll get the main issue out of the way first. This battery pack has it’s straps built into it and they’re quite short so only really fit around the head-strap and perhaps a bit more. I had a halo style head strap and there was no way of mounting this to it. On the original strap it holds well and it’s curved shape sits well against the back of my head.
Build quality is really quite good and the colour and even the texture is a good match to the Quest.
Included is a cable which is a good length but unfortunately it doesn’t come with anything to attach the cable to the strap although there is a small elastic band that comes with it. I don’t think it’s designed to hold the cable but you can detach the strap arm from the headset and pass the band along onto the strap. It just keeps the cable from flapping about so much.
I was kind of disappointed that I wouldn’t be able to use this with my halo strap but in fact the weight seems to be a good counter weight so I didn’t have issues with the strap slipping up that I had previously experienced. I also had an extra add on for the original strap that is kind of a rubber loop that cups the base of the skull and this worked well with the battery pack.
Charging becomes a bit more of a faff because you have to unplug the pack to charge it rather than just plugging the headset in. It would be nice if there was another port so the pack could be left plugged into the headset.
As for duration, without being too accurate I believe it went from a full four bars to one bar in bit over 2 hours so 3 hours is probably achievable and perhaps their claimed 3.5 hours is also achievable.
A good battery pack for Oculus Quest.
This battery pack for Oculus Quest is ideal to extend gaming time by up to 3.5 hours, thanks to the 6700mAh capacity.
Installation is easy using the attached velcro straps, which keeps everything in place securely.
The whole thing is small and feels quite light, so it doesn’t add too much weight to the headset and there’s a battery percentage indicator, so you know when to recharge.
All in all, it’s a good battery pack, but for the price of 35.99, which was the cost at time of writing, I feel you can get a head strap with a built in battery for a little bit more.
I hope you found this review helpful.
Neat and dece
This battery pack is well made and it’s very neat and firm. Please note that it’s just a battery with a charge cable, nothing more nothing less. Don’t be misled by the pics. Try it.
Nice design. Almost perfect. Good capacity.
This is a nicely designed power bank that attaches to the Oculus Quest 2 and promises several extra hours of play. You simply strap it to the back of the headset, which it sits neatly on due to the curved inner surface. The fastener straps then stick around to hold it on.
This feels sufficiently heavy to actually be 6700mAh, although it does state that the rated capacity (the amount that is converted to use with the headset) is only 3800mAh.
This has a length of usb-c to usb-c cable, with a 90 degree angled plug on one end.
Despite how good this is, there are a few design flaws, or should I say omissions. Ideally, this would fit better if it had a rubber pad inside the curved section. Also, there aren’t any clips or other means to pin the cable to the sides of the headset strap.
Overall, this is a nicely designed power bank that works well and is fairly reasonable value, considering the extra time it gives for play.
6700mah battery attached with Velcro straps
I got this for the original oculus quest and it arrived virtually discharged, so it’s charging now..
It’s not the biggest battery at 6700mah but it should assist in powering the quest and counterbalancing the weight, the original quest is quite front heavy.
The battery itself weighs in at 147g so comparable in weight to a 10,000mah powerbank, its 6,700mah battery should give an estimated 3.5hrs of extra playing time.
At around 35 it’s quite expensive for a power pack and a usbC/PD cable, you could easily get a 10,000mah power pack for that sort of money, if you could find a way to attach it to the oculus. That said with an extra 3.5 playing time from this power pack do you need more..
It’s well made, slightly curved to sit nicely with the headband, the charging LED’s are clear , the cable is the right length.. That’s what you are paying fo
