As others have mentioned, a snug fit so size up. Really lovely coat, warm and light, will repel a shower. Unusually flattering for this type of garment. I love the copper colour (perfect for autumn), bought a second one in blue too. Love the sleeves being long enough and the fitted hood which stays in place.

Very good quality and warm. What I like most is how lightweight and warm it is I would go for a size above your usual one.
Fit is exact. A 12 is a 12. Zip is double ended which is handy. Very warm just right for spring. Pockets are deep and warm lined with zips. The hood has concealed drawstring to cut out wind. Shaped at the back to give a better silhouette. I’m 5’5″ and the coat is to mid thigh.
This coat looks great for the style and compared to most others I have seen. It’s lightweight and fit perfectly. I only dropped a star because the first one sent on the try before you buy had a faulty zip but the exchange was fine.
I wanted a long but lightweight jacket and I loved the look of this one and it’s the one I wanted so after reading various reviews some positive and some not so positive regarding the sizing ect I decided to purchase.
I’m glad I did as I absolutely love it and I have absolutely no negative things to say about it and regarding the sizing I brought a size 14 uk and it fits me perfectly.

I commute to work so the coat is light enough to carry or pack away. Then on cold winter mornings when fully zipped up it’s warm and wind proof without feeling too heavy.. Lovely and warm on those cold mornings on a platform at the train station.

So lightweight and incredibly warm. I’m a 14 but if you want to wear clothes underneath the coat, get a size larger.

Love this coat, I wanted something warm but lightweight and that’s exactly what I got. Glad I reviewed the comments on sizing and went with a size up because my regular size would have been too tight.
I love this jacket as it keeps you so warm but you don’t overheat in it. Got it in navy and also just purchased in black. Only thing i would say is that its quite a neat fit. Another berghaus one I have is size 8 but had to get this in 14 for my hips.
Correct size, nice and warm coat arrived early. Only problem is the zip is getting stuck at the bottom its fiddly. I gave it to my daughter as an early present to wear for college.
