This keyboard from AUKEY is really great. At the time of writing, it is 25% off, making it just 30 which is a true bargain. The mechanical keyboard has fully cusomisable RGB lighting, allowing you to chose the colour of every key. It comes with a key cap removal tool, which you would normally have to pay extra for.

The MX keys are excellent. For those new to MX keys, red keys have a smooth feel, and are not so clicky-clacky as the blue keys for example. The manual that you get in the box doesn’t make reference to the customisation software, but it is available – search the web for KM-G12 software download to find the file on the AUKEY website – it gives you full control over the lighting.

    Highly recommended.

This is a great keyboard. However when gaming it feels long but I was expecting that with a 100% keyboard, I solved this by tilting the keyboard. The keys are also very light which is good for reacting in games or typing quickly but not so good if you find yourself resting your hands on a keyboard often. There are lots of rgb colours and modes but I just stick with a plain white rgb. Brightness is great, good in the dark. Good backlighting.

Wow. I did not expect much for the money but this keyboard has simply blown me away. Beautifully packaged (with a strange but really nice smell!), the board itself is very hefty with a solid aluminium body, gorgeous matt black – silky looking keys – and when plugged in (USB A) it lights up like a Christmas tree! The lighting is perfectly bright with just the characters on each key illuminated and a vast range of preset light patterns. On top of this however you can programme the keyboard to your hearts content including on a per key basis! Honestly I have 11 keyboards in my collection because I’ve never found one that works exactly as I’d like (part gaming, part workplace) … until this one! But the price! The price!!!! It’s ridiculously cheap. There is absolutely nothing to complain about with this keyboard – buy it. End of.

I bought this keyboard for 29 and I have to say:
It’s the best damn keyboard i had so far. Premium feel, metallic base, smooth typing, great sound, and the RGB is incredible with loads of settings – no software.
    I mean…. COME ON!!
If you’re on the market for a keyboard – this is by far the best option at this price

I wasn’t expecting much of a keyboard touting all of the features this one does, at this price point. I was, however, proven wrong (and happily so).

The board itself is an AUKEY KM-G12 (not sure why the seller doesn’t list this). It boasts a solid construction, with a metal top plate beneath the raised keycaps and rubberised feet. The only improvement I would ask for would be a braided cable, but that’s just being picky. It also has per-key customisable RGB lighting (and the preset effects you’ve come to expect from RGB boards, such as cascading colours, ‘breathing’, and so on) with doubleshot keycaps which feel great – smooth without feeling slippery – and fully remappable keys. My only gripe with the keycaps is that the position of the lighting element makes some of the FN key functions harder to see. The lighting on the whole could stand to be a bit brighter, but as it is, it’s certainly sufficient. The ring around the edge of the board isn’t customisable, and displays a constant circling rainbow effect. I worried I’d find it offputting, but it hasn’t really bothered me.

The space bar has a slight click to it (see video), due presumably to the risers at either end to ensure smooth operation, but after a month of daily use it still hasn’t been enough to irritate me – your mileage may vary.
The switches themselves are responsive; I’m used to a brown switch compared to these reds and so they have felt perhaps too sensitive at times, though that’s personal preference and I’ve gotten used to it over time. The board isn’t hot-swappable, however, so if you’re dead-set on a different switch, look elsewhere.

For the price, though (30 at the time of purchase), this keyboard is an absolute steal, and one I hope to be using for a while to come.

    Pleasantly surprised!

Unlike others this can withstand spills. I should know, I spilt curry and wine on this and didn’t clean it until the next day. I used the tool thing that comes with it to clean every effected key and wiped it down and dried it with a paper towel before putting the keys back. It looks and works perfectly.

This is a great keyboard, description says Blooth but I received an Aukey. Bought this to replace a Corsair keyboard with Cherry MX red switches on the cheap and am more than happy with it. The red switches on this feel great but a lot noisier, which I like but my wife will hate lol. They feel snappy and precise without the click you get from the blue ones which I’m not a fan of.
I was expecting to have to install software to set up the lighting but its all done by pressing the fn key combinations, lots of options including turning off the light bar which another reviewer said was not possible.
I love the look of this keyboard, the auminium flat plate underneath looks great and will be much easier to keep clean than the Corsair. its a bit smaller, there’s no frame around or wrist support but I like that too, takes up less space on my desk.

Thats a solid keyboard for 29. It’s got red switches very nice tactile feel to it, I feel that the letters are spaced correctly as I am not finding it difficult to type on them. Furthermore, it’s got many useful shortcuts (multimedia controls, calculator, emails, Spotify, etc.) and the light controls and functions are quite versatile and functional. It’s full size including the numpad which is ideal if you type many numbers or like to use them with the calculator. It’s a metal built but not too heavy (obviously not light either considering the size). Overall, I am very impressed with the quality and price. I can’t comment on durability yet as I only got it today.

4 stars because the brand is not “BLOOTH” it is actually “AUKEY” but still a good keyboard, bought it due to my steelseries keyboard breaking, it has the same lighting effects as my steelseries did without the need for software and is just as sturdy and well made as my old steelseries.

I love this keyboard, from the satisfyingly mechanical clicking when you type and quick response time to the rainbow colours. For me this is a fun and good quality keyboard that I am using daily for work. However it can do so much more! My husband uses this keyboard for gaming. He has set personalised programmes where particular keys light up different colours at different times. It’s dizzying and confusing to me, but apparently makes gaming easier and more enjoyable. Being colour blind he is able to choose colours he responds to. The keyboard is lightweight, but sturdy enough not to move as you’re typing. It is good quality and a good price. We have gone on to buy a couple for our nephews for Christmas.

Had been upgrading my computer equipment and thought this one looked pretty neat. I am not a gamer at all, but an illustrator and graphic designer.
The keyboard is very responsive and the lights look very cool.
The only downside is that as it’s a touch smaller than my previous keyboard so there were a couple of fumbles when doing shortcuts. But by no means takes away from the great keyboard.

This is a fantastic quality and very good value mechanical keyboard. The RGB lighting is really nice, the keys are super responsive, although maybe a little too sensitive honestly – for typing they are brilliant, reasonably low noise (certainly compared to my cherry Brown K95 RGB which is 5 times the price) but for gaming, they are not ideal as you can easily trigger buttons with the lightest of touch….with fingers hovering over certain keys ready for action, an accidental press can be a disaster lol. I am very happy to use it with my office PC though, and it’s very good!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve been looking for a reasonably priced mechanical keyboard for gaming and work for a while, I did consider a 60% keyboard but I need a 104 keyboard for working so plumped for the Aukey after watching a few YouTube reviews.

Packaging – Understated but of good quality, keyboard was very well protected and arrived in perfect condition, came with a couple of key-cap pullers and a clear, well written set of instructions.

Build – Very solid feeling keyboard, has a decent heft thanks to it’s metal frame and panels and has decent rubber (adjustable) feet so remains anchored to your desk. Cable is nice and long and feels sturdy, even has RF filtering on the cable which I’ve not seen on any other budget keyboards.

Keycaps – Fairly basic ABS keys with a matte finish, time will tell if they will go shiny with long term use but they are easy to replace. The font used is very nice, not too “gamer” and easy to read

Switches – Red switches (not sure of brand), very satisfying to use, not over noisy and very responsive. Not had any ghosting / rollover problems so far

Lighting – Nice set of lighting options out of the box, plenty if adjustability using keyboard short-cuts, not needed to use the optional software as everything is customisable from the keyboard itself.

Overall blown away TBH, had fairly low expectations for a 30 keyboard and very pleasantly surprised, great work Aukey

Price made me think there would be issues with this but the keyboard is solid, the lights are great and pleased with the amount of colour and settings. Had a corsair before this one and it was expensive but can compare this as every bit as good with solid mechanical keys that are very responsive. The aluminium base adds that little bit of weight to stop it sliding all over the place during use. Recommended.

    Nice keyboard.
Great options when it comes to the RGB backlights, many to chose from and lots of settings.

Ergonomic and feels nice to type on. Does give you the tippy tap sound when typing if you like that.

The keyboard replaces a logitech mechanical keyboard that casts twice as much and was never as good as this one, even when new.. The keys are light but positive with a good feel to them. Durability is obviously a bit of a guess right now, but it feels well made.

The plethora of lighting options is a bit complex, but a minutes with the tiny manual got me to a slightly lit soothing shade of blue which I find ideal.

Absolutely stunning keyboard for the price, with a solid construction, satisfying key hits, and metal casing, this is an absolute steal. The keyboard is plug-and-play but if you want to customize the RGB you can download the company’s own software to do that but it is not a requirement.

The keyboard works fantastic straight out of the box, if you’re looking for a budget mechanical keyboard this is the one, buy it.

I have gotten through a fair few keyboards, my current is an epomaker TH80 with black switches and a flat profile keyset.

I’m not a fan of clicky switches but I can appreciate good and bad and I don’t have any complaints about these switches. The keys and board overall is of a pleasing quality – and it’s got a lovely heavy wieght to it.

Overall, if you like a full sized keyboard, want RGB, like clicky red switches…it’s an easy recommendation at this price

I like this keyboard A LOT. The action is VERY GOOD, being light and super smooth. As I type on this keyboard it sounds like quality. I’m a touch typist and I like using this keyboard very much.

It’s a very attractive unit with or without the LEDs turned on. The lighting effects are super with lots of settings to give variety and choice.

I think this is a good quality device!

    A beautiful bit of kit.

    It works with Windows 7.

I hope these opinions and observations are helpful.

This is a high quality and well made mechanical keyboard. The box includes the keyboard, a keycap puller, product warranty card and a user manual.

There are a lot of different LED lighting modes which you can switch between using a combination of different keys. The User manual explains the different keys to use to get your desired lighting effect and colour.

I really like that the keyboard is plug and play and you don’t have to download any software to use it. Having said that, although the user manual doesn’t mention any software to download, you can go to the Aukey product website and download software to give you access to more features. To find the software scroll to the bottom of the aukey website and under the support section click the downloads option. You can then search KM-G12 and I clicked the ‘AUKEY KM-G12 Keyboard UK’ link to download the software.

The software allows you to customize the key functions, lighting effects and create macros. You can also set up different profiles, I really like this feature as it makes it quick and easy to switch between gaming and work profiles.

The bottom of the keyboard has rubber pads and the feet to adjust the height of the keyboard also have rubber pads on them, which prevent it sliding around.

The keys have a nice feel to them and the keycap puller works well.

Overall I am very happy with this keyboard and I really like that it has an aluminium alloy base as it feels very durable and sturdy.

Work well and feels well made

I have been a gamer for many years and have used many different peripherals, I cannot tell you how amazed I was at what you can get with this keyboard for the price, if you are on a budget then this is an absolute must put it this way if there was a fancy brand name on it you would be paying 4 x the price, the quality is amazing it’s a metal face plate and mechanical cherry red switches, the keycaps are lovely to type on and there is no ghosting whilst gaming, there are multiple colour waves to select right from the keyboard and the lights are extremely crisp and bright with no bleed, there is also software to set it up how you would like this keyboard is an absolute must if you are on a budget please do not hesitate

Fantastic keyboard. It looks beautiful when plugged in. The letter on each key light up and alternate between red, green, blue yellow and purple in a wave like motion. Around the perimeter the light strip does the same with the same colours. I also really appreciate the action of the keys, which enable fast, smooth typing. Has all the functions of a standard full size keyboard, so is ideal for both gaming and regular use. Well made and robust too. Worth every penny of the 40 price tag.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI’ve been looking for one of these models for a while. I’m not sure why the seller doesn’t like to mention the actual manufacturer of the keyboard – but you can see from some reviewers images who makes it.

Amazon are currently selling a very similar keyboard for 50 and you can get this (better quality one) for 40. Better quality as in, the keys don’t ‘ring’ when pressed with force. This one gives a nice solid thump.

I got the Red switch version and they’re so nice and smooth – but still give that nice mechanical sound when bottomed. The keycaps are also quite grippy – i.e. not the shiny slippy ones that I’ve had before. Due to the grip they feel nice to touch and press.

RGB is great (probably could be a bit brighter, but not bad) – without software one can select a number of different colours (mixes / rainbows / solids) and the 360 ring around the keyboard can also be set to solid and rainbow etc. With software, each key can be lit individually with its own colour (I have mine set to all green except WASD in red – looks superb). The software can also change keys around (make A become B, etc) and one can program macros and all sorts of lighting effects.

Speaking of software – The G-AIM control center 1.1.5 wouldn’t detect this keyboard. So I had to download the software named KM-G12 Keyboard UK V1.00n (2021) which did work. Both can be downloaded from the manufacturers website really easily. I’ve heard that the Blue Switch keyboard will work with G-AIM 1.1.5 (if the seller wants to send me a Blue Switch keyboard to test this – I’m happy to do so). One thing that is odd though, with 1.00n when setting custom colours the # key will not light up (so cannot be set). The LED under the key works fine with anything else but custom – so this is likely a software bug.

Really nice keyboard though, top quality and very nice to use.

Mechanical Gaming Keyboard RGB Backlit 104 Keys
    Red Switches

A very good budget mechanical keyboard that’s very affordable at being priced at 39.99 is good value.

The only thing i did notice before proceeding is the fact this is a 104 key keyboard and not 105 which is listed in the description.

The keyboard does have RGB it have 7 colour presets as well as 12 lighting configurations you do need the software to give you full access to the RGB spectrum to customise and the RGB effects look good under low light conditions.

The quality of the keyboard is made using steel frame and plastic for the RGB, there are raisers on the bottom you can raise the back of the keyboard something which you find on all keyboards.
The raises are do have some rubber feat so the keyboard shouldn’t move about while your gaming it did a good job while testing this to remain in one place whether you use a large pad or if you have it on the table top.

You do get a key puller along in the package so if you need to replace a key there easily pulled out of place aswell as if you need to deep clean the keyboard or if you simply would like to add your own custom keys.

you can use the FN + PrtSc to change within the 12 lighting effects and FN + Home to change through the 7 colour settings. Its not necessary to use the software if choose not to use it as in the manual you can do alot more of the configuration on the keyboard itself however, the software does help if you get stuck or you can’t remember a certain key. although for macro and certain key adjustments you will need the software.

The feel you get from the keys were actually really nice along with the performance while this is a budget keyboard the feel did not feel budget at all and rather more of a premium feel.
The keys from most mechanical keyboard are quite noisy and this is no different, being red switches though these are linear and smooth and you don’t get a noticeable clicking sound as with other switches on the market.

Performance for me was nice the key were responsive and i didn’t have any input lag or missing keys, the keys were nice and smooth.
the form factor of the keyboard is smaller than some keyboards on the market i would say by a inch or two however, its lightweight so if your tight on space this would be a better fit.

Overall i can recommend this keyboard its a great budget mechanical keyboard that feels very nice and perform great without experiencing any issues as far.

It has different light sequences u can change thru.
The video is her favourite light sequence.
It’s got an aluminium alloy casing – rather than the plastic casing. And the keys are really responsive.
It really is a quality keyboard – and much more responsive than our previous gaming keyboard.
Would highly recommend this if ur looking for a new quality keyboard.

This keyboard arrived nicely packaged in a sturdy cardboard box with foam inserts.

    The box contains:

    * The keyboard itself (with 160cm USB cable).
    * Key pulling tool.
    * User manual.
    * 2 year warranty card.

I also have the blue key version of this keyboard so this review is similar to the one for that. I have attached a video of both keyboards for comparison of the key noise (the red key one is the one at the top).

I have both because I use the blue key for working in the daytime and use the red key on my own PC at night as it is a bit quieter and less likely to disturb my partner in the early hours!

I’m typing this review on it at the moment. The keys have a nice solid action but are softer and quieter than the blue keys. The click is more subdued. It is a full sized 105 key keyboard and has a standard UK layout.

The keyboard has a really nice finish and is reassuringly weighty (but not too heavy). It sits solidly and doesn’t slide around.

All the RGB lights work as they should and various sets of custom backlight switching are supported. There are too many modes to go into here so some of them are shown in the attached video. Backlight speed and brightness is adjustable and the side lamp can be adjusted independently from the main keyboard.

The underneath has the usual non slip rubber feet and flip down risers at the back.

I plugged this into my PC (Win 10) and it was recognised and functioning immediately. Controller software can be downloaded from the Aukey website (AUKEY KM-G12 Keyboard UK). The keyboard is also completely customisable through its own controls and the included manual explains how to do this.

I haven’t had this keyboard long enough to comment on its long term durability but I’ll update this review if there’s anything to report.

This is a good keyboard with a highly customisable lighting system, nice action to the keys and good controller software. At 39.99 it is good value when compared to similar keyboards available on Amazon, so I’m giving it 5 stars.

The quality of this keyboard is insane. It’s almost has a metal feel to the base which gives it a heavy and high quality feel. It looks and feels like it cost wayyyy more than what it does.
The keys have a click clack sound that satisfies my soul and they aren’t stiff they are like touching butter with a hot knife. Absolutely zero resistance. The lights are so pretty and it is pretty much just plug in and away you go. Great for gamers or people who just like pretty lighty things

Mechanical Gaming Keyboard RGB Backlit 105 Keys UK Layout Rollover, Red Switches Customizable Key with 12 LED RGB Color Modes, 7 Levels Brightness and Speed Adjustment, USB Wired for PC Gamers
    Brand: BLOOTH

This keyboard feels really solid and well made. The metal base is a welcome change to the cheap plastic ones you get on other keyboards, and the key travel feels just right. It’s not overly ‘clacky’ sounding either, which can be an issue with some red switch keyboards as the keys are fully depressed and hit the base.

The whole thing feels like a keyboard that costs a lot more. The ‘red’ switches won’t be cherry MX’s at this price point and I suspect they are Gateron or Otemus. Not that this matters, they perform absolutely fine. The fixed USB connecting lead is also nice and long at around 1.5M which I liked.

The RGB lighting is one of the big features of this keyboard and for someone who is a sucker for RGB lighting it’s really impressive! There are about a dozen different modes you can set the keyboard to, with individual LEDs for each key with multiple colours in each. The multi coloured strip around the edge of the base is a nice touch too.

I am really impressed with some of these cheaper keyboards, often finding they perform way beyond their price poi

My son is an avid gamer so therefore he needs desk space for his mouse and microphone.

As a gamer he needs a keyboard with the number pad with it, however this means his keyboard takes up so much space leaving little room for him to move his mouse when gaming. He then has very little space for his microphone. This keyboard is great because despite having a number keypad it’s still designed to be compact.

My son now has a wonderful proper well designed gaming keyboard with enough room on his desk.

I am typing on this keyboard this very review, and it is an absolute pleasure.
It is colourful but it is not overpowering a bright disco like light show, and it’s better for that – there is raft of presets and customization too – or no lighting at all, as you wish.

The feel of this Mechanical Keyboard is reassuring, and clickety, which is something you either enjoy or not, for me the feed back and feel of the mechanical keyboard is streets ahead of the membrane kind even if it is louder in use.

This wired Keyboard is aimed at gaming, there a various standard lighting patterns that a set with game control in mind, and the capacity for setting custom light patterns to suit.

More generally the preset light effect can be cycled by combination button press, and I prefer the simple rainbow cycling effect.

Each key is lit, with the light coming through the translucent letter or number, making the keys easy to identify, for touch typing the keyboard has a standard UK full keyboard layout.

That segues in the construction, there are two reassuringly solid fold out feet to angle the keyboard if you wish, but crucially the form of the layout is such that the keys are set virtually to the edge of the base, this makes for paradoxically a very compact full sized keyboard.
I have tried so called compact keyboards that have been thicker and almost as long as this.
There’s also LED lighting to the edge of the keyboard too.

In conclusion this is a great keyboard at I think for the quality of the product a very reasonable price.

    I really liked this.

    Lovely Keyboard.

Brilliant keyboards – for the price, fantastic – for a user non-programmable RGB, I would say the only thing I miss from this keyboard is having some macro keys.

I have tested the RED SWITCH and BLUE SWITCH versions of this keyboard and the only difference is ‘key click’… with regards to the key click sound and the actual feel & pressure of the mechanical switch.

If you are not a touch typist, then it is unlikely you will feel or hear the difference between the two keyboards, but when testing these side by side I can definitely hear and feel the difference.

The difference between the RED and BLUE switch keyboards:
If you can touch type with the the slightest of touch, then the RED switch keyboard could potentially be operated silently – effectively a keystroke can be registered with NO sound or click from the key itself – obviously this would not be the usual way of typing, any typing on a mechanical keyboard would normally produce some sound as the depressed key hits the bottom of its travel.
With the BLUE switch keyboard, there is always a mechanical ‘click’ as the keystroke is registered – the keys also required slightly more pressure to registered a keystroke than the RED switch keyboard. The actual clicking sound is quite soft – the sound of the key hitting the base is louder than the key click.

All keys respond well, and for me are well spaced.

I have used some really loud mechanical keyboards in the past, and the RED switch keyboard has to be amongst the quietest mechanical keyboard I have used – it will never be as quite/silent as a membrane keyboard, but for a mechanical keyboard, the BLUE.

    RGB Light settings:
Being the RGB light settings are fixed, i.e. you can only chose from a set range of modes and cannot custom program any keys/areas of the keyboard, there is actually a good selection of RGB modes, colours (12 modes and 7 colours) plus brightness for the keyboard area and also 3 settings for the surround (which I absolutely love).

    Keyboard Font:
A really important feature for me is the keyboard font – and the font used for the keys is VERY clear – looks like Aerial font.

    Summary :
ETREMELY well made and have a good weight to them
Good selection of modes, colours and brightness
    RGB surround stripe looks great
RED switch – no mechanical key click and less pressure required to register a key stroke compared to the BLUE switch
BLUE switch – Definite mechanical key click sound and more pressure required to register a key stroke compared to the RED switch
BOTH Red AND Blue make a sound when typing as the key hits the base on the downward stroke (unless you can type with lightest of touch)

Overall, at 39.99 (October 2022), I would say that is great value for these keyboards – they feel solid, keys respond well and have a good selection of modes and colours – shame there are no macro keys, but for me that is not a deal breaker.

For me, an easy and definite 5

This is a keyboard that shouldn’t be underestimated, it has pretty much any feature you could want in a true mechanical keyboard.

The main features from the bottom upwards:

Rubber feet on the raising pieces – these do a great job of preventing the keyboard from slipping backwards.

RGB lower ring – This is something you rarely see on a budget oriented keyboard, changing through an RGB rainbow effect.

Metal keyboard base – This is a sort of gunmetal colour and looks really nice.

Red switches with individual RGB lighting – These switches feel satisfying as most true mechanical keyboards do but it has a sort of party piece so to speak. This comes in the form of individual LED’s on a per switch basis allowing the keyboard to incorporate some pretty stunning lighting effects as can be seen in the video. Unfortunately this doesn’t seem to be software customisable which is a shame but I like the lighting a lot so I won’t complain the confetti like effect is the best but there is also like an RGB matrix effect that looks almost as good.

Keycaps – Pretty much standard caps but they are removable for cleaning and fitting custom ones should you wish to do so.

Overall – A stunning keyboard at a very reasonable cost. Typing feels precise and oddly satisfying on this keyboard. Well worth 5 stars.

I got this for my daughter to use on her gaming pc, she currently has a plain keyboard and was wanting to upgrade to a better one.

Once we opened the box I was impressed with how well made and good quality this feels, we then plugged this into one of her USB ports and tested the RCG lights.

There is a 12 colour modes, 7 levels of brightness and speed adjustment. When the RGB lights are on they look great in the dark when she is using her PC.

All the keys respond well and I have had no issues with them.

Overall for the current price of 39.99 I think this is reasonable.

    So colourful

I got this for my son – he’s a gamer and I get fed up providing batteries for his non-wired keyboard – this a really good quality wired keyboard, with a long enough cable to move it anywhere you would need really. The lights on it are fantastic – they move through a light show automatically, or you can customise yourself to show different light settings – plus you can adjust the brightness – really cool…
The keys are tall and clicky, just what he likes as he says it makes a difference when gaming because there’s much less change of accidental key presses (think he may have said ‘ghosting’??). I’ll try anything to stop the stroppy tantrums when he presses the wrong buttons and blames it on someone else :).
It looks so good, I need to get another one now for my step-son….

    Fantastic Lights!

A very good mechanical keyboard incorporating ‘Red Switches’, this has an aluminium alloy panel with built in RGB lighting, a good entry into mechanical keyboards and offers very good value for money at 39.99 with a further 20% off available, happy to recommend.

    Good value for money
    UK keyboard format
    N-Key rollover
    Solid build quality
    Customisable lighting
    Uses Red switches
    Good entry level mechanical keyboard

This keyboard comes well presented, in the box you will also find a ‘key puller’ and instructions. The keyboard is very well made, I was very surprised to see an aluminium construction with ABS keys. The USB lead is 1.6m long, ample enough length, the weight of this is just under 1Kg, mainly down to the metal construction. The keys are of the ‘Red’ type, perfect if this is your preferred type of switch.

The keyboard worked straight away when plugged into the PC’s USB socket, no software is needed to be downloaded, or any drivers. The keyboard has two separate lighting functions, the main keys and the base surround. The base surround light actually goes all the way round the base, this can be set to solid colour of your choice, or a rainbow effect can be selected. The upper keys have 12 different lighting modes, the speed and brightness can be adjusted. There is also a ‘Gaming’ light function where only a selected amount of keys are lit up, I believe 5 different gaming modes can be chosen. Any customised lighting effect can be saved.

In use the keyboard is very comfortable and has a low profile type keyboard, this is a personal preference for people, you either like it or don’t. The keys are very responsive and for gamers the N-Key is incorporated into the keyboard. The base has non-slip rubber feet which work perfectly, the keyboard can also be angled via the folding risers.

With regards to further customisation, software called G-Aim can be downloaded, I haven’t personally looked at this yet but this will allow you to programme the keyboard. Once I get onto this I will update the review.

Overall, its a solidly built gaming keyboard that is good value for money, if you don’t want to spend an absolute fortune then buy this!

    Highly recommended!
