Works well, useful case.
Have only had this for a few weeks but it works well so far. Lots of useful accessories and decent battery life. Have used it to shave my head and trim beard without any issues so far.
Cuts really well and is quiet to use
This replaced my old clippers for shaving my head and beard trimming. The blades are super sharp and the machine is much qui8than my old one. There are so many attachments I’m honestly not sure what they’re all for, but if you need a particular one, I’m sure you’ll find it included! Comes with a handy charging station too so you don’t forget to charge it.
Before ordering two important considerations. First is that this comes with a 2-point plug, rather than a USB-C cable. Second is that some alternatives come with a travel case, rather than the very perfunctory bag in this package. That said, this offers a wide and useful variety of grooming tools, performs well and from a well-known and reliable brand.
Second Braun kit I will be Returning as NO LUBRICANT IN THIS KIT. THE KIT IS UNUSED.
The only reason I ordered this second Braun unit was to find the oil lubricant inside. BUT THERE WAS NONE! So I am Returning BOTH BRAUN KITS COMPLETELY UNUSED! FOR A FULL COMPLETE REFUND TO MY CARD.

I USED MY OTHER PANASONIC KIT TODAY, (WHICH DOES HAVE A BEAUTIFUL VIAL OF LUBRICATING OIL) & NICELY TRIMMED MY GOATIE BEARD FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MANY WEEKS!
THAT WAS WHEN I DECIDED TO RETURN ‘BOTH’ BRAUN 16-1 KITS, COMPLETELY UNUSED, BECAUSE I WAS SIMPLY FED UP LOOKING EVERYWHERE FOR THE LUBRICATING OIL/OINTMENT WHICH SIMPLY WASN’T AVAILABLE ANY WHERE!
Amazing for... everything
Had the old generation and lost it. This one did not disappoint. Amazing battery life, sharp blades, good for literally everything and anything, from beard care, to giving your self a haircut and all the way down to the private place. This machine does it all and excels at it. An amazing investment.

Bought this for my Dad for fathers day and he loves it! Looks nice and clean, good set of attachments for anything you need. Very easy to use and the battery life is quite long lasting. Really recommend!

Glad I went for this. The main beard trimmer is excellent. With interchangeable heads and many other attachments it offers so much. Great value too via Amazon. Delighted with it.

The first shave I had with this was great, very smooth and a good cut. Doesn’t pull the hair just glides along. The extra attachments are all great additions for a full body groom. A all in one groomer for every task.
If you buy I would recommend buying a shaver plug adapter as it doesn’t come with british three pin plug, it’s fitted with a shaver socket two pin plug.
Good for the price
I have purchased a lot of Trimmers in my time, some good, some bad. This one seems to be at the top end of the scale. Easy to use, light, battery life pretty good (room for improvement), close trim but does leave marks (probably my soft skin). A lot of attachments with this Trimmer. I will give it a 7/10.
Everything in one!
I do quite a bit of travelling and it’s always been a pain carrying a trimmer and close shaver in my case. This has everything, trimmer with various shaving levels, nose and ear shaver, close shaver and more! It all fits really easily into my wash bag in a small bag provided, even the charger! The parts are easy to swap over too and it’s easy to keep clean. It’s lightweight, it doesn’t feel cheap and it has a good run on a single charge. Unlike my other shaver this is relatively quiet. I don’t know what the overall battery life will be but it’s only needed a couple of charges since I bought it a few months ago.
I can’t recommend this enough, it’s really handy and it does the job.
No where near as good as I had hoped. It does not give me a close shave, which is what I wanted, and the shaving head is to small. Sorry.
This is a good product. Easy to hold and quick to charge. Also, nice and sharp at the moment but that may change with use. It is a “wet and dry” device, but I’ve only used it dry.
One slight irritation is that the smaller combs (1+2 for the close shave) don’t feel too secure and I’m worried they’ll come off and give me a grade 0 stripe!
Generally good though.
So after looking for so long i finally decided to go with this Braun shaver because the more expensive shavers out there have such mixed reviews whereas this is all positive. I have the old black and blue model which has served me well and for years so this is another reason i choose this model as it is the upgraded model of what i had. So what could go wrong, nothing this truly is an amazing shaver the cut is more precise than the old model as it’s a full metal plate with blade that dose not snag or anything leaving a good even stubble look. I also did my chest and bits and it cuts with no issues whatsoever, so glad i went with this as i was prepared to pay double for a shaver. Battery isn’t tested yet as its new but my old version i charged every 3-4 weeks and i shave ever other day! This is an honest review, the shaver is worth every penny and i can’t see any reason whay someone would be disappointed.
Been looking for a trimmer that does a bit more than my trust Wall – and after a but of research (not much in fairness) stumbled in this due to its price and the Braun reputation. Have used it regularly since purchase and so far has been excellent – the different heads are so easy to change and it glides through hair effectively without any pinching – battery life is very good though it’s new so not massively relevant at this early stage. In summary – really pleased with this set – good value and does everything you need to keep your unwanted hair in check.
The only improvement I would say at this point is for Braun to come up with a storage bix for everything – the original cardboard box won’t last forever – but this is a minor gripe given my pleasure with the product itself.
I would genuinely recommend this to anybody looking to upgrade their trimming experience!!
When I unpacked this trimmer I was so disappointed that I nearly sent it back. It was much smaller than I had expected. I hummed and hawed over a few days and also looked at several types of hair clippers on Amazon. As well as being smaller (narrow width on cutting head) than I had expected all the pictures on the box and literature kept referring to trimming beards. I wondered if this thing was actually meant for giving a man an actual haircut. I charged it up and let my wife handle it, as she is the one that would actually be cutting my hair. It passed her test for fit in hand and weight. After that I decided to keep the trimmer. Haircut day came and we were both surprised at how well it cut my hair. It felt comfortable for the both of us. I had a go myself and found it handled better than expected. We tried a few different cutting lengths, longest to shorter. It did very well. She found it easier than my previous one for trimming around the ears. I also liked the nose/ear trimmer, at last I found a nose trimmer with real power behind it. Wish it came with a decent box for holding the accessories. I also wish that Braun, (other firms are all doing the same thing) would actually emphasise that this trimmer was for giving haircuts.
