Feel great in the hand
This is my first waterproof shaver and it is great not having problems with leads being too short. Battery life seems OK but a little on the short side for my preference. The lead supplied for re-charging is a 2-pin plug which is a pain because I have to use an adapter plug. Overall I am very happy with the shaver, but I have not tested the waterproofness yet!
Handle is to long.
Clean shave used daily. Longer two or three days I needed to keep it off my face until bristles were shortened. Otherwise good machine.
Gives a good shave
Changed my Philishave for this model Braun and am very pleased with it so far. Just remains to see how long the cutting blades stay sharp for.
Lightweight, Braun, clipper head swap.
I find this a bit too light, more weight would stay closer to the face. It does the job at half price, battery life is good.
I prefer the slide up clipper of my previous model. But this was much cheaper than that. You get what you pay for, who knew?
Very simple, relatively quiet, gives a close shave. Far lighter than both my series 9 shavers, neither of which lasted much beyond their warranty period. This shaver cost <1/3 the price and gives an excellent shave.
Sideburn attachment works simply. Like the charge stand ( but you need to allow the shaver to drain dry or the terminal on which the shaver stands gets corroded.
Overall I'm really pleased with this shaver.
The 5140 I bought a couple of years ago is so good that I decided to get another Series 5 so that I could have one in my travel bag.
This Series 5 is nowhere near as good as the 5140. It doesn’t pivot, the battery doesn’t last as long, and there’s no slide out trimmer. The whole thing feels like it’s deliberately designed to fit into a marketing line up where it can’t be too good and potentially cannibalise sales of Series 7s.
But, it’s very comfortable to hold. That sacrificed battery life means it’s lighter; and I’m managing to get a nice close shave despite the fixed head. The easy clean system seems to work pretty well too.
Easy to use
I understood rinse orbrush to clean, not the case, time consuming so disapointed. Thought I could use to replace razor but does not shave close. I use for beard trim only
Good razo
It’s a good razor. Does a decent job. It’s still slower than my dad’s 20 year old Philips and every modern razor I’ve bought is but take your time and it shaves fairly close. Separate trimmer. Wish that was built in as forever losing it or accidentally emptying the contents of the blade cover everywhere
This razor feels a little flimsy compared to my previous Series 5 Braun but it gives a much closer shave.
I have deducted one star because of the dreadful manual which comes with it which is almost impossible to decipher. I am still not sure how often and how to clean the razor as there are so few words to accompany the illustrations

Shaving pleasure, not a chore!
There is nothing to dislike abour this shaver. I used to have Brauns before but this replaced quite an old Remington. What a difference! It is so well balanced and does the job most efficiently. The charging stand also helps with the storage. Overall a great purchase and I would recommend it to any one looking to replace the old shaver.
It's like I'm shaving with fluffy kittens.
I am using this to shave my face and head I have really sensitive skin, and the Braun has caused ZERO irritation – my skin feels great. My only gripe would be with battery life – I get two complete shaves (head included) from a single charge. But I’m sure this would be the case with other shaver brands.
Excellent Close Shave
I’m glad I ignored the suspicious one 1 star reviews and bought this product. My old razor was a Braun Series 3*. This is a noticeable improvement and gives a smoother shave. The razor itself is lighter, which is good but it doesn’t see so solidly constructed as my old one. Time will tell.
* I’ve since read that the Series 5 shares the same head with the much more expensive series 7’s.

New to electric shaving, worth the move!
I have wet shaven and stubble trimmed for 25yrs and decided to make the move to electric shaving to see if it had improved.
I have used the shaver on both dry and wet shaving and both give good results.
Personally i use some gel to assist the glide.
Doesn’t pull hairs (unlike shavers of old) and glides nice with the 3 moving foils.
Attachment easy enough to change and the cleaning method is easy.

Very simple to use. I do my whole head daily. It is not as close as a wet shave but it is far better than most electric shavers. Easy to clean but I don’t know if it is truly clean. Time will tell. Best electric shaver I've had ye
I was a bit wary of this shaver after the 1st use but that was before I had oiled the foils. I have used it for a week now since applying a little oil and it is definitely the best electric shaver that I have owned (it is my 4th one). Easy to use, light and gives a good, close shave. I am really pleased with it.

Ottima rasatura
Ho ricevuto a novembre questo rasoio ed ho atteso due mesi prima di scrivere la recensione perch volevo essere sicuro di quella che stata la prima impressione. Premesso che da oltre trent’anni uso il rasoio elettrico per la rasatura ed ho sempre acquistato Philips. Dovendo cambiare, per vetust, il mio rasoio ho deciso di cambiare sistema di testine e mi sono orientato verso Braun. La prima sensazione che ho avuto stata quella di una rasatura che lascia la pelle morbida come quando usavo le lamette, ma la cosa che mi ha colpito maggiormente stata la mancanza di arrossamento del viso e la pelle non affaticata dal passaggio delle testine. Devo raccomandare questo tipo di rasoio anche per rasatura frequente per chi come me rade la barba ogni giorno.

This looks the part. Very easy to use and hold. I’ve been told recently that it’s not cutting the hair very well. It started off well but now doesn’t cut well. Disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend. Not great for what I paid.

Venivo da un Braun serie 1 smartcontrol pro perch dopo 5 anni cominciava a perdere un po’ i pezzi (anche se tutt’ora ancora funzionante!) e dovendo cambiare la testina ho valutato che avesse senso spendere un po’ di pi per prendere anche un nuovo rasoio. Devo dire che c’ una bella differenza. Non me l’aspettavo. Non necessario esercitare una gran pressione e bastano meno passaggi. Quasi dimezzato il tempo di rasatura. Molto consigliato.

Had this shaver for a year now and I’m still provides a more than adequate shave. Does it shave as close as a razor…..no but it still provides a great alternative. All that’s needed is simple maintenance and regular cleaning.
Would certainly recommend.
Good shaver for the price
Having spent a lot more on previous shavers (Remington) and the retractable trimmer breaking in the same way each time, I thought I would try a Braun. So far very happy.
Great battery life; I shave daily and am getting 10-14 days on a single charge.
Gives quite a close shave, although each part of the face does need a few passes in order to achieve it.
Would be better if the trimmer had been built in, but it only takes seconds to change the attachment so it’s no big deal.
I paid around 50 and consider this to have been a good purchase.
Gewohnte Braun-Qualität, leicht zu reinige
Ich habe den Rasierer wegen doppelter Haushaltsfhrung gekauft, da ich bereits einen Braun Series 3 habe, den ich seit ca. 5 Jahren nutze. Bin voll zufrieden mit dem neuen Produkt, er schneidet gut und lsst sich leicht reinigen. Das Design ist ergonomisch und die neue Akkusztandsanzeige ist praktisch. Auch die Lock-Funktion ist praktisch, damit der Rasierer nicht bei Reisen unbeabsichtigt im Gepck angehen kann. Super ist auch der Lieferumfang mit Bart-Aufstzen.
Nachteilig finde ich, dass er (wie andere neue Modelle von Braun und anderen Herstellern) nicht mit Kabel betrieben werden kann. D.h. wenn der Akku schwach wird, kann man diesen nur bei Braun austauschen oder den Rasierier wegschmeien. Dies ist sicherlich ntig fr alle, die den Rasierer unter der Dusche nutzen. Aber fr reine Trocken-Rasierer eine Verschlechterung.
Dennoch bin ich mit meinem Series 5 zufrieden und empfehle ihn gerne weiter.
Good step up from 3 series
Dropped my 3 Series in the basin and it stopped working! Chose this because it was much cheaper on Amazon and Prime delivery was next day. Very impressed with it. Lighter and much easier to clean. Shame sideburn trimmer has to be a separate attachment but understandable because there are other attachments available to but separately. It shaves much closer too. Recommended
Best electric to date
I have had a selection of electric shavers and this one best by far, usually I found new ones left me tender to start with but this Braun S5 hasn’t and I’ve been using for a month now and also provides a close shave. I have tried it with shaving gel but I prefer to use it without gel, I have also cleaned it with running water and with brush only and both methods are fine.
I recommend this Braun series 5.
Ottimo rasoio
Ho acquistato questo prodotto in sostituzione di un altro rasoio Braun che era molto pi costoso ma ormai la batteria nn si caricava pi. Devo dire che al di l di una custodia da viaggio che non presente come nell’altro, un ottimo prodotto, mi soddisfa di pi e rade la barba con facilt anche se di 3/4 giorni.

Ai primi utilizzi pu sembrare un rasoio elettrico non cos buono ma solo una prima impressione, prendendoci la mano si nota la qualit del prodotto.

Shaves well but fiddly to remove cutter head
Better than the other style of Braun shaver but removal of the shaver head is tricky as you have to force it off with the tips of the finger or thumb and when re-fitting it needs a bit of force and wiggling to make sure it clips back on fully. Also the trimmer is a separate item that you swap with the shaver head and is not that good at what it does. However it does shave pretty well as long as you don’t leave your beard more than one day to grow as 2 days growth means to you need much longer in whittling down the growth in stages before the skin feels smooth. It’s the best electric shaver I’ve had but still miles slower than a really good wet shaver like the Gillette Mach 3 or Turbos which are effortless when the blades are new

Der Rasierer ist genau das, was ich gesucht habe. Solide verarbeitet, ohne Schnickschnack und einfach in der Bedienung. Einzig, dass er nicht benutzbar ist, whrend er ldt, erachte ich als Manko, das fr mich jedoch nicht so schwer wiegt, dass es Einfluss auf meinen positiven Gesamteindruck htte.
Its my first electric shaver “after 39 years” and thought, give it a try, because I have a really sensitive skin. I have to say, I am really happy with this product, but to be fair, I just can compare it with wet shaving. So I did pictures of my first shaving experimente and you can see, I had around 5 day beard. I didnt had any problems with my skin. I needed to go couple of times on several places, but had a nice finish at the end. It was very smooth and cant complain at all. Its all made by plastic, but still felt good and also lightweight, so it was easy to use. Cleaning and the second attachmend is also easy to change. So I dont understand, why it got so many 1 Stars rating. I would give it a try. I am very happy with this product. Kind regards
I bought Braun Series 5 in November 21, as a means to switch from daily wet shaving using a safety razor. I have used the Braun only once (this morning) and was pleasantly surprised on it’s performance, as there are many negative reviews. I shave daily for work so needed a faster option than wet shaving but yielded the same results (or better). The Braun Series 5 does not disappoint. The results are just as good as wet shaving, but unlike many negative comments suggests, does not take repetitive coverage to do so. A total run time for me was between 1 min 30 – 2 mins, being particularly thorough on it’s first use. Caveat = only 1 day of growth (and I’m not well known for being great at growing a beard!). The shave itself was smooth, not leaving the skin overly dry or sore. The difficult places around the neck were made very easy to get to, with no catching or “snagging” on any hairs, producing a surprisingly close shave whilst being very comfortable.
Needless to say Battery Life has not been an issue so far. The grip is comfortable making it easy to use. I thoroughly recommend.
Better than my old series 5
Found it easier to hold and did a better job than my older series 5 even with replacing the shaving heads a couple of times. Good smooth shave and very easy to clean.
Guter Rasiere
Der Rasierer fhlt sich angenehm an und ist theoretisch leicht zu reinigen, wenn einen kleine Hrchenrckstnde nicht stren. Will man diese jedoch auch beseitigen, hat man definitiv einen greren Aufwand vor sich. Die Rasur fhlt sich gut an, man muss jedoch fter mal Stellen doppelt oder dreifach rasieren.

I said why didn't I use this before
This is The first electric shaver from Braun that I own. Before I used the other brand with rotary blade.
The shaving ergonomic is exactly like what you would experience from a regular shaving blade. You even not feel anything when it trimmed your hair, just smooth.
I will update again if there’s an issue, but so far, very recommended.

It operates faster than the old one and produces a good close shave. Water can be flushed through the head easily in order to clean it out..
Not a bad alternative to a blade
I was nearly put off by the bad reviews, but if you want a shave as close as a blade, then get a blade! This is not a bad alternative; a decent shave without the mess of wet shaving. I had used rotary shavers for years, but found this to be far superior. Another plus is the easy clean system (the shaver should be switched on when flushing with water, something I didn’t realise at first).
Good clean shave with no irritation.
I came to this from a Philips shaver. The shave was equally clean and rather quicker. My only grumble is that the trimmer is a separate attachment rather than a flip-up part of the main shaver as on the Philips.
Good enough
I’ve used both Series 3 and Series 8 Braun razors and this one sits between them in terms of efficiency. The best shave was with the Series 8 but they are far too expensive. The Series 5 lacks the flexible head that makes for a more effective shave around the jawline and throat area but it still gives a reasonable shave for the price. It works best with either shaving cream or lotion on the face and regular rinsing as you shave. For irregular use between regular wet shaves, I find this good enough.

I’ve just been away for over a week i used it three times for a clean shave, it did the job well with no sign of the battery dying as I charged it before leaving and didn’t take the lead with me.
So yes currently happy with this I got it while it was half price too, which makes it an even better value for money deal..
Nic Shaver But No Carry Case
It’s fine, it shaves nicely and feels good in your hand. Easy to clean and holds a charge well. I was disappointed it had no carry case for travelling though. And you can’t seem to be able to buy one anywhere. I think this is because of the strange shape of the body.

Die Rasur ist tadellos. Wer mehr haben will, will “Luxus” haben, dann muss er teurere Modelle whlen.
A close shave!
I bought this as a replacement for my series 6 Braun as the shaving heads had got a bit dull after a few years of daily use. I would have got another series 6 but this one was on special offer which is why I bought it. As a shaver it is effective, especially on old grey stubble like mine. My only gripe when compared with my old shaver is that the edge trimmer comes separately and you have to remove the head and put on the trimmer which can be a bit of a faff if I am only having to cut a few odd hairs. Having said that, changing heads is quite easy, but I did enjoy the convenience of my previous shaver where I just had to slide the button and the trimmer popped up. The battery seems to last for more than a week with daily use so I am happy with that. It doesn’t come with a case so will need some protection when packing in a suitcase etc. Overall I am pleased with it.
Gives a very close shave - and does work unlike what others are claiming
I chose to purchase this after reading reviews saying it does not cut cleanly/sandpapers your face trying to cut. Actually, it works very well and if you know how to use an electric razor by just pulling it down your face it cuts closely and cleanly (although you may need a few passes it does definitely not sandpaper your face!).
I would recommend it as you can get implements to have different options to cut like the beard trimmer.
I’ve been using Series 3 for years. They work well but after 3 years the batteries loose charge, and the cutter need a change (foil changed each year). So on Prime Day I saw this Series 5 looking like a good price and with better battery. But some reviews put me off. I took the risk and very pleased I did as this is an outstanding shaver! Seriously I thought the Series 3 did a reasonable job but this Series is a superb smooth shave, way better than the 3! The beard trim works well too, and I’m really pleased with the whole thing.

I was concerned to change to foil from many years of Phillip’s top end rotary razors, but the discounted price in the Amazon sale was a big push. Some of the reviews on Amazon for this razor were quite slating… In closeness of shave, quality of manufacture, battery, cutting long hairs, etc. etc.. all I can say, what a load of rubbish. I have used it for a week now and have had the best dry shave I have received for years. I cannot find anything to complain about. The only way in the past to get this quality of close shave is with a wet shave with my Phillip’s razor.. with new heads…. which are two and a half times the cost of a new head on this one and more than the cost of purchase of this razor!!!… its a no brainer!!
Pleasantly surprised.
It feels so comfortable in the hand and after decades of using a traditional bladed razor I was pleasantly surprised at the closeness of the shave. As a beard trimmer it’s invaluable, I would recommend investing in the trimmer attachments. Cuts grooming time by 75%.

There seems to be some funny business going on with submitted one-star reviews. I hadn’t seen them before I bought this but they’re way off the mark. I don’t have a beard or moustache so just want a basic shave and this couldn’t be better: a close shave dry in less than a minute. Bish bash bosh and on with the day.
Good value and easy to clea
So far so good. Only used for a couple of days but using with shaving foam. This causes much less irritation and makes shaving a more pleasant experience. Cleaning the shaver is simple also but I am still in the habit of removing the foils, even though it is no longer necessary.
Excellent Shave
I was hesitant to purchase this item after reading some of the negative reviews. I have previously owned for a number of years a Braun Series 3 shaver but required to replace it after many years good service.
I can not understand negative reviews the series 5 is an excellent shaver, easy to use and clean, offering a smooth shaving experience with a very good battery life. Highly recommended.

Battery life seems good, ok to hold whilst shaving, easy to clean. Haven’t tried trimmer attachment. Shaving after 1 day – good, after 2 days good, after 3 days good. After leaving for a week, it needed a light wet shave to finish off

A good razor.
Absolutely nothing wrong with the razor. I have tried multi head razors and thought I would have a change to a foil razor. As I say nothing wrong with razor but it does not cut my beard in one go. A close shave in places but pushes hair about in others so I have to rub and push harder for longer and end with dry sore skin. Have tried in shower with wet face but not a lot better.
I think it is a problem with my face more than the razor which is nothing new. A lot of people have trouble with my face
VERY close shave, its great.
Very close shave but the trimmer isn’t the best in my opinion, good overall, quite good for 55 and has an LED display with locking buttons and all sorts of reminders like when it needs cleaning or when the top needs replacing ect.
Wet shave – The wet shave with good quality shaving cream is amazing, as good as a razor.
Dry shave – The dry shave is pretty impressive, a really close shave
I don’t recommend doing a water shave (wet shave without shaving cream) with this as it isn’t very good, but dry and wet shave are amazing.
Ignore bad reviews
When I was researching this item and trying to find a reasonable cost shaver to replace my old series 3, I read a lot of very negative reviews – which did make me hesitate. However, on reading other reviews elsewhere and looking into it in more detail, I went ahead and order it anyway.
It is perfect and delivers an excellent shave. The easy clean feature is a bonus and the price is excellent. You could pay a lot more for a shaver and probably not get a better shave.
The only negative is the handbook. It seems to follow the IKEA approach of pictures and very little text. Some of the images may relate to attachments that I do not have and so it is a little confusing. My advice, if you have doubts about using it correctly, is to watch a couple of You Tube videos – just so you can be confident you have not missed anything.
One final thing that is a bonus, is the ability to lock it so that it does not switch on when travelling. I took my freshly charged old series 3 abroad years ago and when I got to the hotel the charge had gone. I do not see that likely to happen with the Series 5.
Nice shave
Very surprised at how close this shaves. After 25 after years of wet shaving that was becoming more and more of a chore, I decided to buy an electric shaver. Bought this one as I was sceptical that an electric shaver couldn’t do as good a job as a razor. I was wrong. The only slight niggle is I can only get 3 or 4 shaves before it needs charging, but it does have a 5 min single shave quick charge and takes about an hour for a full charge. Overall a great shaver for a great price.

Prima ne avevo uno di un’altra marca (rinomata) pagato di pi rispetto a questo e tagliava molto peggio.

I have two other earlier Braun’s but this one is smoother, quieter and easier to hold. It appears to give a much closer shave with its three blades. I’m really pleased with my purchase.
Good battery life
I use the item as a dry shaver. It works very well on stubble but will not give a smooth close shave. I have not tried it as a wet shaver.

I had a Braun 3040s for 5 years and the battery life became poor (3 days) and it needed a new foil (25 pounds) so I opted to replace it with this one. I thought the 5-series was meant to be better than the 3, but the actual foil head is identical except for a weirdly large plastic surround. It is meant to be easy to clean, but the design change to enable this has meant that the long hair trimmer is now a separate clip-on part replacing the foil, rather than a pop-up. Thus you have to take the foil head off every time you use the trimmer at which point you might as well wash the foil properly. So I don’t think they really thought it through.
The shave is fine, it is a new foil so in that sense bound to be better than the old one. I find it odd to hold, but that might just need getting used to. Otherwise I see no real functional difference to my old one. Battery life is very good (2 weeks plus) and there are three levels of indicator.
Note to blade users considering a switch; electric razors will never be as close as a blade whatever the makers say. But electrics are (to me) relatively benign to skin and the stubble is less sharp when it inevitably grows. I find electrics much easier to use, so shaving twice a day is no trouble. On the other hand, I last used blades in the era of BIC disposables which gave a much younger me the ‘attacked by a werewolf’ look; I am sure blades have moved on since then.

As someone who doesn’t actually like electric shaving, I’m really pleased to find I like this one. I’ve occasionally used Braun Series 3 models for years, and they’re old enough to need expensive service parts. By comparison with the cost of the parts, this new replacement is at a welcome price. Even better is the fact that it gives a close shave, and I cannot understand all the negative reviews.
I purchased this product on the back of reading the various pieces of feedback on it, so I thought I’d add my own opinion too!
I must admit when I first started using this I questioned if it was actually taking any hair off my face. However, it was! Based on other electric razors I have used, those all felt slightly painful when using but with this it is extremely comfortable. The fact it didn’t feel as though any hair was being removed but it was is the exact thing I have been chasing for many years.
True, I don’t have a full-on beard or anything like that, but this does just as good a job than using an actual razor blade and shaving foam. I am quite sensitive on my neck especially, so you probably do need to use something once you’ve finished using this.
Nevertheless, this is a perfect product.

Great shaver for this price point.
I’ve had a few electric shavers at this price point over the years and can easily say this is the best one I’ve ever used.
You do have to chase the direction in which your stubble is growing in order to get the best results but it does absolutely work.
From the negative reviews I’ve seen of this, I think it’s a case of people not knowing how to use it correctly within its capabilities. Use the included beard trimmer to trim down any hair to the length in which the shaver is capable of cutting otherwise if the stubble is too long the shaver will just run over the stubble instead of cutting it.
I read the other reviews about this shaver and chose to ignore them as they were giving bad reviews of this shaver and I was thinking there must be something going on here if you know what I am saying and now I have received it and used it I am so glad I did because this is the best and I mean best shaver I have ever used and I have been around quite a while and used many makes being wet and dry.

Smooth shave and no skin irritatio
I’ve had this shaver for two weeks now and am happy with the result. My previous 4 shavers have all been rotary shavers, but thought I’d try this type for a change.
Battery life is so far excellent, I’ve only charged it up once since getting it and shave almost every day.
The easy clean works a treat, just run it under the tap after shaving to wash out the head.
The handle is comfortable to grip and the whole construction seems solid.
It does give a closer shave than my previous shaver, but you do have to go over the same spot two or three times to get all the stubble, it’s also a bit more noisy. The main advantage is that it does not irritate my skin like my old rotary shaver used to. I no longer get a rash after shaving which is great. Overall I’m happy with the product for the price.

Very easy to use for my elderly father, who has memory and sight issues.
Very pleased with this shaver, it is just as described. My dad has memory and sight issues and the large on / off button is particularly useful. He especially likes that the shaver is kind to his sensitive skin., and easy to charge. I like that it is very easy to clean under the tap and would highly recommend. You need to purchase a 3 pin adapter as it is a 2 pin.

Eine Vielzahl an Aufstzen war bei meiner Version inklusive. Das ist sehr praktisch und macht den Rasierer zu einem klasse Allrounder.

Lsst sich sehr gut reinigen und man muss nicht zustzlich in die teuren Reinigungskartuschen wie bei den Nachfolge-Modellen kaufen.

Htte ich nicht gedacht dass ich mit dem BRAUN Series 5 mit Bartschneideaufsatz meine alten zwei Gerte ersetzen kann, doch es funktioniert hervorragend! Der Standardaufsatz rasiert auch lngere Haare przsise und der Wechsel zum Bartschneider ist wirklich easy, das ganze noch trocken oder nass, bin echt begeistert dafr 5 Sterne.
Fast oscillation with big battery life
I was amazed at how long the battery lasted – 9 days and counting. Also, the revs of the cutter blade seem to be a lot faster than my older Braun Series 3 Electric Shaver ever were. I am truly delighted with this versatile (dry and wet use) razor and highly recommend it to the discerning buyer.

bought this for my son for xmas he has had one of these for years and recommends them very well so treated him to a new one he is absolutely over the moon with it thinks they are best thing since sliced bread he says he gets a really good shave with it and can use it whilst in the shower and the battery seems to last ages so if he is happy so am i

Il servizio come sempre impeccabile, il prodotto diciamo che mi aspettavo qualcosina in pi. Il taglio eccellente, ma per regolare baffi e parti che richiedono pi precisone, si fa un po’ fatica. Ma sicuramente solo una mia particolare esigenza. Lo consiglio.
BRAUN BABY
This shaver is smart to look at very light in use. Up to now it holds its charge well. I have not used it for a wet shave because I prefer a conventional wet shave. The Braun does not give as close a shave as a razor blade but its handy for a quick in between spruce up.
Super Rasiere
Also ich verstehe die Meckerei einiger Kunden nicht. Als Test hatte ich einen 10 Tage Bart. Ohne Murren wurden die Barthaare entfernt. Kein zippen oder reissen von Stoppeln, wie ich es schon bei anderen Rasierern erlebt habe. Das Gert liegt super in der Hand und lsst sich leicht reinigen. Fr den Preis ist es die 5 Sterne Wert.
Ein guter Rasiere
Der Rasierer gefllt mir sehr gut. Er wirkt sehr wrzig und hlt, was er verspricht. Rasierleistung ist gut. Ab und an reit er eher, als zu rasieren. Aber in den seltensten Fllen.

Well worth the money
Bought as a gift for my husband and he finds it excellent.It charges quickly and he can use it for quite a few times before it needs recharging.It is easy o use and does a very good job.

Charge lasts a long time about 18 or 19 days. Recharging is very quick. The shaver gives a close shave and is easily cleaned. I had to but a charging stand and would have thought that this should have been included in the purchase price,and I thought it was little exact 19.99
Le nouveau Braun Series 5 est plus lger que le prcdent modle.
Le nettoyage sous le robinet est plus pratique que le prcdent modle.
La nouveaut principale de ce nouveau modle, ce sont les lames mobiles de la tte de rasage qui pousent les reliefs du visage, et qui permettent un meilleur rasage.
Bien que la tte ne pivote pas, le rasage est confortable. Le nettoyage est ais. Il est dommage de devoir retirer la tte de coupe pour pouvoir tailler les pates. L’autonomie n’a perdu que 30% malgr un rasage quotidien pendant une semaine.
Je recommande.
Ok but not amazing
Not quite the wonder product I was hoping for, but it is reasonable.
My skin is still settling in to using it. I was expecting to maybe go over my stubble a couple of times and be left with smooth shaven skin, but that certainly isn’t the case.
You have to take a lot of time to ensure you get every bit of your stubble, but it is a good close shave, once you take your time.
Overall a good product, which my skin is getting used to, but I probably set my expectations to high to begin with.
This is an excellent razor!
It’s only a few weeks since I bought it but it’s giving me a great close shave although it takes a few more “passes” then the Philips I used before, (which definitely wasn’t as good a finish! Impressive battery life for sure and super easy to clean! To my mind definitely worth the price!!
Have been using a Philips xl smartouch rotary for years but it finally gave up the ghost so after research I was stuck between this and the 7 series. Decided on this as I wasn’t sure about Braun.
Wish I’d made the leap of faith a long time ago, using it is more like a conventional razor with strokes rather than a circular motion with my Philips.
Picks up all my hair, even the places where I had problems with my Philips. So much so that I have to be careful of not grinding my face off as this Braun just slides across my skin easily.
The only reason I’ve dropped a star is because it is loud (or it seems like it at 5 in the morning) and I wish I’d gone for the series 7 but hey… I’m a happy clean shaven man with a fantastic shaver for a great price.
Battery holds up great and I love the cleaning system, doesn’t get any easier than holding it under a running tap lol.
Feels nice in the hand and the cassette moves with the contours of my face nicely.
Going from three rotary cutters to cassette is so much easier. That’s my take anyway.
A fantastic shave
I have Braun 9 series which is a fantastic shaver but I have used the wrong wire for charging and the mother board
was destroyed then I have decided to repair it but the Cost was 75 and after checking the price of this product
I have decided to buy it and did not expect it to be as good as 9 series but I have been surprized .
It is a fantastic shaver and very easy to clean.
Would strongly recommend it.
For light stubble only
It wont clear thick stubble that well. Needs a better foil than the one used.
Shaved 90% then re-shaved twice to clear the what was left.
It will shave to a fair extent so it is not the worst shaver you can get.
I’m not an electric shaver person, I prefer a wet shave. I was in hospital when I bought it because it was awkward to wet shave in a bed with a bowl balancing on my lap. I was more than surprised that it gave me a close shave and was very happy with the end result. I would recommend to everyone buying an electric shaver.
