Handy, handy, handy. Keep it charged and you don't need to keep buying butane lighters for most uses.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Users This works just like a lighter but the wind does not effect it. It is light weight. It is long so you don't have to put your hand in a candle or fingers to light birthday candles with your fingers. It is rechargeable which makes it worth while.

I am hesitant about using lighters for anything as I worry about either burning myself or the flame somehow shifting from a passing breeze and catching fire somewhere. It’s an irrational fear, I know. But that’s why I was so excited to find out about this lighter. It more controlled, easier to use, and rechargeable. You just press the button and slide your finger and the prongs come up and creates a plasma arc. Then you just light whatever you need to. Your finger doesn’t have to get close to the source and you have more range from whatever is being set aflame. Also, since it’s rechargeable, you don’t have to worry about refueling it.

Great alternative to a traditional candle lighte
This is a great item, it is well made and easy to use. It lights even small wick’s with ease. The battery life is good only needing changing once a month depending on how much you use it. It is made of sturdy metal and plastic, and fits well in the hand.

    Effective and reliable
Handy and reliable high quality craftsmanship tool & mess free without having to fill with any gases. Lights my candles effectively and its easy to use.
Can be hung out the way when not in use and I particularly like the battery indicator to monitor the juice level. Straight forward to charge in terms of travel and definitely useful for multi purpose.
Durable and will no doubt have a great longevity all in all so im happy to recommend

Long electric wind proof candle lighte
This is a long electric wind proof candle lighter. It’s easy to hold and very easy to light using one hand. I lit several candles with ease and because it’s windproof you can hold it upside down and you won’t burn your hand. The only issue is the charge port as it’s the old micro usb which is disappointing. Why not pay the tiny bit extra and add a usb c socket.

I’ve never used an electric lighter before. Nor had I seen one. This was kinda cool. It easily lights candles. I have not tried to light anything else. If you look you can easily tell how to use it. However, when I handed it to my 19 year old she, who also had never seen one before, wasn’t looking closely and just started flipping the (child proof) switch and started facing herself. (She was not hurt). There is no indicator other than the hook on one end and the fact that the pieces come out the other for what direction to hold it. And if you have never seen one and you pick it up you might think the hanger is the lighting end. Maybe. At least my daughter did. I thought she had more common sense when picking up an unknown object that you know causes fire. But who knows… So she says there should be an arrow or something indicating which end is the starter side.

Cool Electric Lighter with a long handle desig
This electric lighter is way better than conventional lighters and it works even on a very windy day, which is great!

It is super easy to use. No need to buy gas/fluid. You just need plug it into the charger (a micro USB cable is included) and once fully charged, it can be used up to 30 times. The 10-seconds automatic shutdown is a nice feature to ensure safety.

This would make a lovely gift on any occasions such as birthdays, Christmas, Father’s Day, etc.

Overall, a cool product that is very useful.

    works brilliantly
I am so pleasantly surprised by this electric candle lighter, it works brilliantly. I have a lot of candles in my house and have only ever used either matches or the traditional lighters with gas so was intrigued to try this. All you have to do is charge it and then you’re good to go. It lights candles instantly and uses absolutely no flame or butane/gas, it’s such a great design and on a full charge you can use this up to 30 times. It seems very sturdy and well made and will hopefully last a very very long time. Very impressed with this and it’s not something that has to be replaced constantly like traditional lighters or matches.

    Convenient, functional
This is a nice electric arc lighter. The arc is effective for lighting gas stoves and candles and i quite like that the terminals are retracted back into the wand when you stop using it. The wand itself is fairly long so you have a good reach, keeping your fingers away from whatever you’re lighting. Charging is straightforward via a USB cable and lasts a reasonable amount of time between charges.
There is no price currently showing for this device but it’s quite an effective and useful tool.

The Plasma Electric Arc Candle Lighter is very easy to use and it works great! I ordered this lighter to light deep candles and to have on hand for lighting things outside when it's slightly windy. This works great for both! It does come with a micro-USB cord and it charges rather quickly. There are LEDs on the lighter to signal how much of a charge it has. It does have a safety switch, so you must push down on it before pushing forward. Once you engage the button, the lighter arcs immediately! This lighter is easy to use, easy to charge, great for lighting deep candles and works well in the wind! I recommend it!

This is a very good electric lighter. It is rechargeable and the battery lasts a long time.It is lightwear and very easy to hold with your hands. It is a much more portable version than matches. The most important thing is that it is windproof and does not emit aromas. For the price what it has is worth it.

This is a great gadget that lights your candles and doesn’t need any gas refills.

    Quickly lights candles
Can be used for candles, cigarettes or other ignition tasks. The sliding power switch does have a safety button but it’s honestly far too easy to press without trying to.

It’s still a good and useful tool for anyone that frequently uses candles.

    Works well
Really simple to use and the charge seems to last a long time.
It does take a while for the candle wicks to ignite and I actually find it quicker and easier to use a conventional lighter to light tea lights, but this is perfect for lighting the candles that come in large jars to save burning your fingers.

I occasionally like a candle lit and I mostly buy jar candles that get hard to light as they burn down. This works great to zap the candle wick and light it quickly, even from upside down. It's nice and thin to easily store in a desk drawer and the best part is that I don't have ever refill it like normal lighters!

Good long candle lighter, could do with USB-C charging
This is a long candle lighter. Longer than my other three rechargeable candle lighters. It has a locking mechanism at the firing button which is save when it is not use. The lighter is charged via MicroUSB cable. Could do with a USB-C port as now I am slowly migrating everything to USB-C and has a lot of charging ports ready.

The electric arc is wide enough for candles or for gas stove. It can light up paper etc just like a real fire except it is more contained.

The body is made of metal, quite nice to hold and feels rigid.

Handy being rechargeable over battery powered, seems to be a good product as far as I can see.

    Good Value Long Candle Lighte
I dislike matches as I am not particularly dexterous and often end up with burnt fingers when lighting various candles, tea lights, votives etc. That means that this long candle lighter is an ideal solution. I have had a different one previously but it is coming towards the end of its life so I was pleased to get this.

I like that it is rechargeable via USB, so no searching for batteries or running out of gas. It shows the remaining power and seems to hold a charge well. Comparing it with my previous electric lighter I would say that this is not as robust and the lock button in particular seems quite flimsy. Having said that, it is a lot cheaper so it is all relative. The lighter is windproof and can be used when lighting barbecues, camp fires etc. I have not tried it in those situations as, with it being in the middle of a UK winter, it will be a few months before that is possible but I think it would work well. It has a little hook in the end so can be hung up or even attached to a rucksack when camping.

Overall I am pleased with this lighter. It saves my fingers from being burnt and I have suggested my mum gets one too as she is a church steward who has to light church candles and this is a far safer option than matches. It does not cost much so even if it is not as durable as my other lighter it is still good value and I would definitely get one again.

Perfect for my stove, woodburner and candles!
I get through the gas filled long lighters like nobodies business so this rechargeable version is very welcome in my house indeed and it’s really well thought out and designed to boot!

My lighter arrived fully charged (charge status shown by up to 4 illuminated dots on the body of the lighter) and while it took me a little getting used to, it’s simple to use and was successful in easily lighting the fire lighter bricks, candle and hob rings that I tested 🙂

I like the inbuilt safety features such as the safety lock button, 10 second automatic shut off and the retractable head, which should -hopefully – minimise any accidents with this product.

For the price, it’s hard to argue with this! It will work out far cheaper than the standard gas filled ones in a short space of time and it will cut down some of the plastic waste I would otherwise produce 🙂

    Decent lighter for the price
    Plasma Electric Arc Candle Lighter…
Well packaged, easy to follow directions. It arrived fully charged which was a bonus.
Lightweight, convenient hanging hook on one end.
I’ll be honest, I think these are the best thing to happen to lighters since sliced bread happened to bread! I have more than a few. This one was the least expensive price wise but also feels the cheapest in terms of quality. The on off button is a bit wibbly wobbly, it feels like it probably wont-work very long. I could be wrong, I hope I’m wrong, but for the price this is still a decent lighter and you do get what you pay for.
The charging cord is slightly longer than charging cords I have received with other lighters and I like that, it’s much more convenient.
Summary a very reasonably priced lighter that works well. It’s very light weight which is nice but also causes concern over the durability of this product. The off button is not the easiest to use and is a bit wibbly wobbly. For the price this is a decent lighter and I’m still rating it @ 4 stars

    Better than most and cheaper!
I have lots of these around the house – myself and my daughters love candles etc so these are great for that. This one came well packaged and with the charging cable, it’s slimline, well made and has a little hook on the end which is a lovely little extra – I’ve put a commando strip up in the girls room so they can always find it.
It charged up quickly then simply slide the button up and the arc of light comes out the top which you hold against the candle wick to light. I’ve also used these for incense sticks, starting a BBQ, on our camping trips etc – so many uses for it and you can do it from arms length without burning yourself.
At 6 at the time of review, this is exceptional value – cheaper and better quality than most of the others I’ve had.

So much better than any butane lighter!
Love the anodized red color of this lighter! It is so simple and easy to use, just slide the power switch on and the arc lights up – perfect for lighting candles quickly and safely.

The loop on the handle is nice to attach a wrist tether, and the micro USB charging cable makes it easy to recharge.

No more hassle with butane lighters that run out of fuel – or have igniters that crap out – at the exact moment when you need them the most.

This arc lighter is a must-have for lighting candles or grills.

I’ve always used traditional lighters and I’m tired of always throwing them away when they run out, so I thought I’d try this one. I can say that I really like this one. I showed it to my family and told them that this was going to be everyone’s present next year. I like the fact that you don’t have to refill it, just recharge it. There is a bit of an odor when lighting something, but I can deal with that and it takes a little bit to light something, I tried it on a candle. The end isn’t hot after using it, that’s a bonus too.

This flameless lighter is great. So far I have only tried it on candles, but it works really well. It even takes slightly less time than a regular flame candle lighter. It comes pre charged like most things, but it's a nice plus. I didn't even know something like this existed and I'm really glad that I picked this up. 10/10 Will buy more in the future!

    Long Handle Electric Lighte
This is a rechargeable long handled electric lighter.

It has a 4 window display showing the remaining power left in the lighter.

Not that I can hear this…
But my 21 and 17 year old daughters can hear a ‘high pitched noise’ coming from the lighter when it’s lit.
Not that this is a problem, as they have no need to be touching this lighter, and I also doubt they will be wanting to if the sound is as bad as they say!

If it is a ‘age related’ frequency, I’m 41 and I cannot hear anything at all!

    Really Efficient*
This long electric plasma lighter arrives boxed and comes with a micro USB charging cable

I already have a flick open plasma lighter that I found really useful and efficient but it was difficult to reach into my large jar candles to light them, so I was happy to see they design these plasma lighters in long stick versions
The lighter is really nice and long and reaches right down to the bottom of a big Yankee candle.
It has a metal loop at the end of the lighter enabling you to hang it up when not in use. It has the charging port on the side and the lighter trigger button on the front. The lighter has a little safety lock button on the trigger panel that you push down on when you push upwards to power on the lighter. You can actually take your finger off it once it’s been pushed in and upwards, and the lighter will stay powered on until you push on the safety lock again and pull the trigger downwards to power it off.
Once the lighter is powered on, a cool little purple arc will light up that makes a slight sizzling/sparking sound. There’s also a blue LED indicator light that lights up once the lighter is powered on to show the charge status.

Overall I found the rechargeable plasma lighter fab. It’s length allows you to light candles in large jars that have burned quite a fair bit down and it’s really efficient to run as you don’t need to buy lighter fluid or gas to refill it ever. The plasma arc works basically exactly like any lighter with a flame and lights candle wicks with ease. It’s quick to charge and it lasts a long time too depending on how much you use it. It’ll also be good to light BBQ’s and Chimneas outdoors in the summer incase there’s a breeze as it really doesn’t affect it at all compared to a standard refillable lighter.

Comes with a USB cable and is very easy to charge.

Arrived fully charged, with lights to show charge level.

Switch has a safety button, pressing it in and the switch forwards makes the retractable end emerge and the plasma flame ignite.

Very good for lighting BBQs and candles which is what I will use it for. Should be good for wood burners.

Good value at under 6 at time of review.

This electric lighter is great for keeping your fingers and hands away from the ignition spot.
Full charge takes 60 minutes, and can be charged on any USB slot.
There is a safety button that needs pressing before sliding up the ignition switch to expose the electric generator prongs for lighting something.
As you can see in my video, it is super quick and easy for lighting everyday items like candles.

FIDDLY! Ignites a tiny point instantly. Needs quite intimate contact. Definitely windproof!
I do like this lighter but not for heating a mass gently or roasting a small something. If you want to warm something without igniting it, this IS NOT THE TOOL. It’s VERY GOOD at igniting a gas stream or indeed a fuel that you can get into intimate contact with the tip. Perhaps contact isn’t quite the right word but when you have to get something THAT CLOSE it may as well be!

IT IS WINDPROOF! I’ve been lighting a piece of paper out in a stiff cold breeze. It lights easily. Having said that, you get a tiny little point of ignition. Works though.

This business of needing to get really, really close became an issue when lighting tea lights which had been burnt previously and then blown out. The carbonised wicks were very small and very fragile. I needed both hands to hold the tip exactly where it was needed without snapping the short black wicks off. This worked BUT it was a slow process lighting a group of tea lights. This does make me wonder if THIS LIGHTER MIGHT BE TOO FIDLY FOR A BIRTHDAY CAKE! If you’re lighting a cake with a good few candles on YOU NEED SPEED or they’ll rapidly burn down, while you light the rest, and it’ll look odd. I think this might be just too fiddly perhaps with practice.

I hope these opinions and observations are helpful.

Very good Electric Windproof Long Candle Lighter
I got this lighter to replace my old Electric Lighter which is faulty and not switching ON anymore.
This lighter is easy to use you just need to press on the safety lock and slid it to the front and the Retractable lighting head will come forward, I like this design this makes it safe to use if accidentally pressed the power button.
Easy to charge using provided cable, windproof with No flame.
The outer shell is made from metal and provided with a hang buckle at the other side of the lighter for easy hang or storage.
It has a power remaining level indicator represented by LED lights and each light represents a certain power level.
    Working perfectly so far!

Yeah it's useful and it definitely works. But the battery is very small and it cuts off after a short amount of time. Makes it very hard to light stuff on the first try. However it does come very useful when you don't have any lighters on you. Nothing much else to say, however I do recommend it if you don't mind the short cut off time.

    Better than a flame lighte
Plasma Electric Arc Candle Lighter – USB Rechargeable Flameless Windproof Long Lighters with Upgraded LED Battery Display Safety Lock Hanging Hook for Candles Outdoor Grill Camping Kitchen Firework

This device has two prongs that pop out the end and generate a strong electrical arc. As soon as it makes contact it immediately lights and starts a fire. Has a safety lock which prevents it’s use unless the lock is pressed down at the same time you push the button down and out. Provides charged status with several LEDs. Claims to be rain splash proof, but also states to keep away from water. There is no water rating, so I would take the rain splash proof with a grain of salt. It has a nice sturdy build so should be durable enough to travel with.

Device charges pretty quick with a micro USB port on the side and provided micro USB cable. Note, there is no outlet adapter but you can use just about any 5v usb adapter from your phones and other devices if needed.

No more butane long lighters required!
This thing is super cool. I was tempted to physically touch the end but it looks like some wicked taser that would hurt, so no thanks!

Crazy thoughts aside, the e-spark on my Char-Broil gas grill has been dysfunctional for months and I had been using one of those long butane lighters which is bulky, cumbersome and unreliable such that occasionally so much gas accumulates in the grill that when it finally ignites the lid nearly blows off! Scary!

But this plasma arc electric candle ignites the gas immediately every time. Plus no batteries required. It has a small (I assume) lithium ion battery and and included USB to Micro USB cable to keep the battery charged.

I doubt you could light a candle or camp fire with this guy (I may have to try!) but it sure ignites flammable gas!

My First Electric Lighter... So Cool
I’m 48 years old, and have never had an electric lighter before. I ordered a couple different ones to try out, and this is the first one I received. I gotta say, it’s pretty cool.

I can’t gauge it against anything else, so my review is purely based on this as a stand alone experience. This lighter is a very simple device. It has a good locking button that you have to depress before you can activate the arc. When you slide the activator up the sleeve, it will activate the arc and show led lights that represent the battery level. Like I said… simple, and it works. I like the loop on the end opposite the arc for hanging on a hook.

With the simplicity, I think there are a couple things that could be better. I wish there were a way to check the battery level without activating the arc. I wish there was a way to replace the battery, but I don’t believe there is. I thought maybe the screw on the loop end would get me into a battery compartment, but it does not. This looks like it was made as a throw away device.

But the battery should last a long time, and will probably outlast the arc tips. I do love that it ionizes the air when it arcs. One of my favorite smells. It’s a good lighter, though I do see room for improvement. Also, it’s not USB-C, which I knew but it is still stinks since everything should be USB-C by now.

    Ladestatus vermisst!

Sehr schn designtes Lichtbogen Feuerzeug.

    Amazing
I used it to light a candle outside. It was quite windy. I was very impressed. This is a life saver. I mean we should all have one just incase.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersRecht teuer für ein elektrisches "Stabfeuerzeug"

Ladung erfolgt ber USB Micro.
