5.0 out of 5 stars Not easy to set up
Needed to go through the routine of setting up several times.
Once up and running it performs brilliantly.

    his is a 4k inpu
you don’t need 4k if you are gonna use this as a webcam, get the cheaper one instead, but if you are going to use this for live events i cannot recommend this unless you are on the go

    Overheating
This is a good product, albeit expensive, but it overheats. I just used it for a couple of short videos to test it and I found out it is overheating relatively with high temperature. I was trying to unplug it and I felt the heat, which is not normal for such a quality product. Perhaps, the unit I received, but I was expecting normal operation without issues for this overpriced device.

    I can't fault this produc
Ordered, arrived, plugged it in, connected my DSLR camera to it with a HMDI cable (to use as a webcam) and was good to go. As simple as that. No messing about, no drivers – a flawless signal. I’d also add that my macbook is kept on the other side of the room (due to excessive fan noise) so the HDMI cable running between the Camlink and camera is 5 metres – not a problem and has had zero effect on stability or the signal. My Camlink is also plugged into a non-powered USB-C adaptor hub – no problem either. It hasn’t failed or dropped once.

I would highly recommend this if your goal is to use a DSLR camera as a webcam for video calls or live streaming. My review is based on usage with a Macbook Air 2020.
